Cancel it by saying it was a fruadulant charge. Tell your credit card company you have no idea how they got your card regardless. Since these guys are crooks it takes acting like one to get your money back. . . So be it

Acai berry and colopure and hoodia are all scams run by one company that you can not reach by phone to cancel your order so they keep charging you. Beware!

I order a free trial and just was supposed to pay shipping. When i received the product in the mail, they had added extra products that weren't requested as a way to "explain" their charges that weren't not mentioned or authorized. They charged my bank account 44. 85. When you call them, you will get an automated response telling you that you can email them at "customer support". You cannot return the product without an "authorized numer" from customer support. But their is no way to get in touch with this so - called customer support. They again charged my account another 39. 95 twenty - five days later, out of the blue. They have a new recording now that says they are experiencing "unusually high call volumes" and will tell you that your "approximate wait time is 45 minutes", just to get you to hang up. They will not respond to you via email or any other way. You are just at these thieves' mercy to continue to charge you.

I was also scam from this Acai berry hype. Just like the complaint above, I accepted the same 14 day trial for 5.95 shipping cost only! but the website never mention what happen after the 15 day trial. As soon i made the purchase i got call from the rep to verify my purchase and address. after taking to the rep she told me after 15 day trial the pills are $88 plus.. Well 15 days later they charge my credit card account for $250 so i tried calling the 1-888 number on the bottle but only getting the operator telling me that this number no longer in service! Good thing i bank with bofa and got my money back.
PEOPLE PLEASE BECAREFULL!

I ordered the Acai Berry free trial as well. I received the free trial like a month later and could not take it becuase I found out I was pregnant so I threw it in the trash. I would say within another 2 months I received a charge on my debit card in the amount of $89.31. I called the 800 # same as listed above and they claim they will refund the money back onto my debit card within 14 business days but if they dont I'm just going to dispute the charges with my bank and file a BBB complaint. Its a fine print scam. They told me that when you sign up for the free trial you have 15 days to cancel otherwise it gets charged to the card used to cover the shipping for the "FREE SAMPLE"! I was on edge I told the I only recieved the sample and it was never disclosed to me that I would be charged this outstanding amount. I also explained that I am pregnant and cant take that crap anyway so I want my money back! DONT SIGN UP FOR THIS UNLESS YOUR'RE WILLING TO PAY BECAUSE ITS NOT FREE! They send u a sample and charge you an outrageous amt for a regular size bottle of Acai Berry which you will never receive.

These Acai companies seem to be all connected with each other, and they ALL charge you credit card without notifying you of the charges! When you try to call to cancel, they do NOT answer the phones at all.
These are some of the toll-free numbers that are connected with this scam:

I tried the free trial ( 7days) after the first 3 days, i was in the emergency room with a kidney infection. The MD's indicated it was something in the supplement that was shutting my kidneys down. I quit taking it. I was astonded when the company insisted that I continue to receive shipments of a product that was bad for my health. I told them to not send any more. They kept billing my credit card. This company is horrible. If there are others out there having kidney problems with this product I feel a Class Action Suit is in order. I feel it prudent to protect the public.

My credit card was charges $29.95 for "FIT FACTORY". All I wanted was the free trial just pay 3.95 shipping and handling. I cheked back on the web site and no where on there does it mention this program. After calling 4different phone numbers and being on hold for 30 minutes I finally was told to call 1 more number. As of today I have also never received the product. Do not use these people they are just a scam taking advantage of everyday people.

I ordered a sample product for $4.50 plus shipping and later discovered that my credit card will be billed an additional $39.99 to become a member or some nonsense however I dont want to become a member and only wanted the sample ONLY. I had to cancel my credit card and order another one. This is illegal and this company needs to be put out of business because the phone numbers they give you to call dont work. I waited on the phone for 54 minutes because the prompt said too and when the time elapsed the phone had a busy signal so all that time was for nothing and I also sent them an email to cancel my account and I never received a confirmation email. How can this so called company get away with this?

I saw the ad on Facebook for Acai berry for a free trial, just need to pay shipping and handling. I paid the shipping and handling online with my bank card and was charged $4.87. I haven't rcvd the product which was a week and a half ago. Went online to check my bank account this morning and I had a charge from a OH Thorton for $78.33 which I never approved this or even knew what it was for. I had to go to my bank and fill out fraud report on my card and cut up my cash card. I don't know if I will even get this money back. This company is a huge SCAM! They take money out of your account without authorization.

Ginette do you work for this company? Do you just go out and look for sites where you can make people feel worse then they already do for making a mistake? The sites have print that says you can cancel after 10 days, when the product arrives just before they charge or the day before you recieve the product you don't have a chance to cancel. Thanks for all your help, I'm sure you helped alot of people that have been screwed by the company you work for. GOOD JOB!

Angelique, sorry but if you didn't cancel your credit source for this product you need to do it. They will keep charging much more then what the product is worth. Talk with your bank, dispute the charge, cancel the source.

This is a terrible scam. They offer you a trial period bottle of acai berry all natural cleansins formula pills and you pay shipping and handling cost of 5.95 and if you cancel within 14 days you won't be mailed anymore and you won't be charged $88 every month. However, the number does not work for you to cancel so they charge your card $88 and$5.95 shipping each month. The guys doing this don't have a heart or any consideration for the economic hardship of others and their families. I have a 10, 2 and 1 year old and I am not working at this time. I hope these people get seriously punished for this.

I was also scammed! I was charged for my S & H right away but after almost two weeks, I still had not received it. How can I have a trial period when the sample does not come before the trial periods ends?! It is when I went back to the site to see who I could contact about this, that I read the terms and tried calling customer service. They were closed, so they said, and listed their hours as 8 am to 8 pm MST M-F. When I called the next morning at 8:30 am MST, it said that due to high call volume they had extended their hours from 6 am to 9 pm MST and now had hours on Saturday. I was on hold for a good twenty minutes before someone picked up and I told them I wanted to cancel immediately. She told me that I would still be receiving my sample and gave me a confirmation code for my cancellation. Make sure you get this code and be aware that you might need to wait on hold for 20-30 mins. They, of course, want you to hang up and tell you to call between 6 and 9 at night, but I know I called around this time the night before and they said they were closed. Beware of their scam because they will charge you before anything arrives!

I ordered a trial slimming product called acai berry over the Internet for £2.75 plus £1 shipping, when i got the product i read the letter that came with it and it stated, that unless i cancel my credit card they will automatically charge me $89 and thirty one cents every 31 days for a new supply of Acai berry, as i don't want any more of this product i tried to phone the number on the letter but no one is answering the phone, a friend told me Florida are 6 hours behind the uk so i stayed up last night and from one in the morning i must have phoned them 20 times but still no one is answering the phone. I need to cancel my credit card as i cannot afford this product and i am getting very upset as my bank has told me they cant do anything about it

After ordering a sample for $3.95, I was charged for more shipments $80.00 plus dollars when I never agreed to further orders or authorized any further charges. After calling the customer service number which coincidentally has a horribly bad phone line so all you can hear is every other word they say, I got it cancelled but the girl then said they take no refunds so I can do whatever I want with my bottles.

There was an offer online for a free trial supply of Acia Berry cleansing pills with a one dollar charge for shipping and handling. I just found out that a company called Fit Factory that I had never heard of charged my debit card for 29.95. So, I googled this company and got a number for customer service. I was told that when I ordered the free trial of Acai Berry I also authorized to become a member of this company which suppose to be a members only web site for fitness. I explained to the guy that I did not want to be a member I only wanted the free trial of the Acai Berry cleansing pills. He stated that he was unable to give me a refund but he could cancel my membership which would prevent any future charges. I feel this is totally unfair I have no idea of this members only web site and have never used it before, and I also have never received the pills that I ordered! When I told him I didn't receive the pills, he told me that even though Fit Factory and Acai Berry are partnered that he was unable to help me because they don't do the actual shipping of the pills, and he gave me another number to call. When I called the number he gave me I was placed on for over 45 min. and still no one ever came to the phone. This was all on 11/13/2008, I have been calling there every since then and still was unable to speak to anyone! What am I suppose to do?

my wife ordered their free sample online on 22nd October. It arrived today (14th ovember) having only been shipped on 7th. The second payment has already been taken.

A recorded message on their phone states that they are receiving a large volume of calls (what a surprise!) and have extended their opening hours - the best time to catch them is between 7 & 10pm MST (between 3 & 6 am UK time!).

I managed to get through after being on hold for 15 minutes but they initially couldn't trace the order (by name or "zip code") but fortunately there was an order number on the envelope. They confirmed that they would cancel the account (and gave me a reference number) but when I told them that I wanted a refund they told me that the goods had been shipped (unlikely) and that when I received them I should phone them again and they would tell me how to return them. When they had the goods back they would refund.

I have written off this money and will cancel the card tomorrow as I really don't trust them not to take another payment.

I appear (at the moment) to have been luckier than some - and hopefully my wife has learnt her lesson.

Don't do it!

Offer was supposed to be free with only $3.95 S & H fee. I was charged $29.95 still have not received product. Tried to call [protected] for 4 hours now; all I get is a fast busy signal. Bank will refund money, however I will have to cancel debit card, be without one for a period of time, fill out police report have it notorized and return within 10 days. I work two jobs and don't have time for this garbage. I sent an e-mail to the Oprah.com where I was directed to that website for Acai Berry. If this is the type of company and service they choose to endorse, I not be watching Oprah, viewing her website, or buying her magazines. I suggest everyone flood Oprah.com with e-mails and correspondence regarding this issue.

Because it sounded good and since Opra & other big names endorsed Acai Berry, I signed up for a "free" trial offer on-line. Now I am being ripped off a couple hundred dollars every 15 days! I have called my credit card company and filed a dispute. I have been trying to cancel this order for almost two months now. These people cannot be reached! I put the phone on redial every 30 - 45 min. all day long one day and all you get is a recording saying the call can't be placed and to call back later. You keep calling and finally get a recording saying they are closed and to call back during business hours. Also, you can't send it back for a refund without an authorization number and guess what? You can't reach them to get the return authorization number! They have no e-mail address you can contact either.
I searched the web and found several complaints about this rip-off business.
I urge everyone who has a complaint to please contact the Better Business Bureau of Central FL. These people need to be closed down!
The business I ordered through was: Miscellaneous Food Stores/Speciality & Convenience Store Don't waste your time or money on this. THEY CANNOT BE CONTACTED
