I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

I ordered the free trial of Acai Berry and tried to cancel within the 15 day time limit. Every phone number I had never worked. I finally got through, but they only say that my request has been sent to the refund department. Nothing has become of it. I submitted a complaint to the BBB of FL and I also wrote to the Attorney General of FL. All of us need to sue because I think that will be the only way to get our money back.

I cancelled my order. I was told I had a 30 day trial period. I cancelled the order within my time frame and they continue to send me the product and bill my credit card. The charges are over 94 each month.

Ordered the trial Acai Berry and authorized the shipping of $5.95 there was no where in the print that i read that said i would be set on an auto ship and charged $89 each month. The number provided on the website takes me to a mailbox. I want this membership canceled and my money refunded, is there any number that I can call and actually reach a human being? This is a scam do not sign up for this product.

I purchased for shipping and handling a sample of Acai Berry and colon 700...I am being charged without authoization 88.97. I am wondering what I can do to get my money back and stop these unauthorized withdrawals. I will call my back to see if they can stop payment of further withdrawals. Please respond if you can. I am receiving this product too often. I do not need anymore until February. I already returned one bottle and only got $ 46. credited to my account instead of the 59.99 it cost me to get it- and I didna't even order it- I hadn't finished my free trial yet! My email is: tawny1969@msn.com. Do not ship any more until we get this straightened out! Thank you, Tawny

unauthorized debit to my account. Total scam. had to shut down my debit card and have an investigation started in order to get my money back. You cannot reach anyone at the phone number found. Says "mailbox is full and no new messages can be left". Also, there is no real address for the company on the bottle. Buyer beware!

CONSUMER BEWARE! DON'T ORDER!
I have done my due diligence and fulfilled my obligation to this company. I did comply with the Terms and Conditions which states that "I understand that unless I cancel my order within this 14-day period, beginning on the 14th day my credit card will automatically be charged $87.31 for a 31 day supply."

I cancelled the order well within the 14 day period and I was charged for two bottles at $87.31 each for merchandise that I have not received nor do I care to receive.

I live in Australia and bought acai berry online from the Davie, Florida, USA company...it was only after signing up for the so called free pack that I saw the "We will deduct $89 US every 30 days
I immediately tried to cancel but got the same run around as many people have.
They eventually emailed me saying that someone would call me and would I give my details.
I did and no one has called...surprise surprise!
I lodged a complaibt with the FTC but I think that I have done my money and have no other way of stopping this unless I cancel my credit card I.E shut it down

BUYER BEWARE! I recently ordered free trial sample of Acai Berry Tablets and agreed to pay minal charge for shipping & handling (aprox. $2.00). Then I noticed recurring monthly charge, for last two months, in the amount of $89.31.
There was no "fine print" in the online add that mentioned signing up for a membership or a recurring fee - believe me - I looked. The only thing I ordered was a 1-time, trial sample ONLY!

The company's phone number places you on eternal hold, then a recorded message tells you to call back between 6:30 - 9:30 pm, MST to speak to a representative. I WILL be calling tonight & have cancelled my credit card to avoid any future charges. What a hassle to stop an erroneous charge to my bank account!

I ordered a FREE TRIAL ALSO AND WAS THEN SLAMMED FOR TWO DIFFERENT FEES, of $69.95 and $84.95. I also had a international fee for 0.4 cents, (they want every penny they can get) I have 2 phone numbers [protected], and [protected] which they say is not their number. these guys need to be shut down. even if you read the terms and conditions, they wont send the product in time for you to cancel your subscription.

I had ordered a sample of this product on line where they were advertising free product for shipping only. No where in the add was there a statement that they would ship this product automatically each month which they have and are trying to charge me $80 plus dollars. they also did this to my wife who also ordered the sample. She was successful in stopping the payment but this should not have been neccessary because she too never agreed to a monthly shipment.

Since this has happened to us we have learned just how big a scam this is. is there anything that can be done to stop this? It seems that it would be mail fraud since they are doing this without the permission of the person they are shipping to.

If anyone has this phone number, please pass it on to me. They scam us with a sample bottle and within 4 days I received another bottle which was not ordered and charged my credit card! Is there something we can do about this? Maybe closing this credit card account so they will not be able to use it anymore. This company needs to stop. The way things are right now, people do not need to deal with this.

I feel so stupid for being duped into "A Trial Offer". What a RIP-OFF, AND SCAM. I tried to contact the company, everytime I called I was put on hold, then after a few moments the line would hang up.
I contacted my bank and changed my card number, and was also given a credit against them.
I will continue to pursue this, even if I have to pursue legal matters. THEY ARE CROOKS AND NEED TO BE STOPPED

I ordered the free product after seeing that Rachel Ray and Oprah Winfrey had used the product and backed it, once I received the free trial and tried it, it gave me horrific headaches. I did not pay attention to the small print which is where they got me. They charged my credit card for a product that I did not order nor received and when I had my credit card company cancel the charge I finally received an email stating that they were shipping my order (that I did not place). I guess they were hoping I would not notice the charges. They give you a phone number to call to cancel any future orders but it is funny how no one seems to be there even during the times that they tell you to call! Then you try the live chat and it states no one is available at that moment! It is very difficult to contact them to cancel any future orders, my only other option would be to state I lost my credit card and have them cancel it and send a new one with a new number so they can't charge me again, I guess I have to play their game!

call your credit card company and tell them not to accept any more charges from this company. The best thing to do is to request a new card. They will do this for you, that way this company cannot put any other charges on your account. Some companies use different names each time they charge you, so if you put a hold on one company name, they will just use your credit card number to charge with another name. Cancel that card and get a new one fast before they hit you again.

be very sure that it was cancelled. Watch your account carefully. Not only myself, but my friend each got a cancellation number, but they still charged us after this. I was charged twice for the same shipping and handling fee but with two different company names.

check with your bank, the new debit card should have a different number. That is what my bank told me, they would have no access to the old account number because it was cancelled. If you did this, the bank should reimburse you for these charges.

I ordered the Acai Berry and when I tried to cancel I had to try 4 or 5 different numbers. The numbers would answer and then immediately hang up. This went on for an hour or so and when I finally was put on hold I waited over 45 min for a live person to answer. When they finally answered I told the man I wanted to cancel and specifically asked if it would cancel everything. I asked this a few times. He said that it would cancel the Acai Berry and the PriceLimbo. I would have to get in touch with fit factory, which I did. I asked him at least 4-5 times if it did in fact cancel both and he said yes. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't misunderstanding. This was on October 28, 2008. I was just recently, on November 28 charged for the pricelimbo. This put my account in the negative and caused an overdraft fee. Pricelimbo agreed that it should have been canceled in Oct. and said that it was their fault but refuse to pay my overdraft fee to fix my account. If they wouldn't have deducted the $8.51 from the account then the overdraft charge would have never happened.
This is a complete scam. The terms say you have to cancel within 14 days after order not receipt of the product. Which I did not receive until 16 days after order. I did read the fine print and canceled within the alloted time. The fine print never said a word about pricelimbo or fit factory.

HUGE SCAM!

I, like everyone else in the complaints, was charged for shipping and handling with my credit card for a "sample" of Acai berry. I did not receive the sample until I was on the road travleing for my job. When I returned and found a shipment of the product and a charge for over $80 to my bank account, I called them and told them I had been out of town and they said too bad, they are able to send it out and charge you for it to the account you charged the shipping and handling to and there is nothing you can do to get a refund.

Then a few days later I noticed an odd $8.51 charge to my bank account. I called the number the was attached to the transaction and got Price Limbo. I had never heard of them and had no clue what they were doing charging my account. Apparently when you sign up for the SAMPLE with Acai Berry, you are also signing your life away. Every month they have charged my account $8.51, I have called and they have told me they have cancelled my account and are sending a refund. Every month around the 29th through 1st of the month, there is another charge of $8.51. I make another call and receive the same information. Today I called and was pretty much blown off as usual with a "confirmation number" of the cancellation and the promise of a full refund of $8.51 for the months Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov and Dec. I asked when I should expect it and she, "Jen, " told me 3 to 5 days I should see it in my account, at lesat by January 2. I am going to have to get a totally new debit card in order to make it where they can no longer charge my account monthly. I am anxiously awaiting the refund and no further charges.

You need to contact the FTC immediately, then continue following up with all the various numbers these "companies" have. If everyone on this who's been scammed by all these various acai berry companies actually filed complaints with the FTC, these scam artists probably would've been shut down months ago. BTW, those reading this: go ahead and complain here but please, please also file a complaint with http://www.ftc.gov and list as many of the company names, addresses, phone numbers as you can find on the "contact us" section of whichever site you ordered from. FTC allows you to list multiple companies on the same complaint and, for instance, acaiberrydetox.com alternates between (at least) two company names/addresses/phone numbers when you click the "contact us" button. The FTC will notify law enforcement if enough people actually complain with them.

MY DAUGHTER'S BANK ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CHARGED FOR THE ACAI BERRY PRODUCT.
PROBLEM IS SHE DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THE TRIAL BASIS, LET ALONE THE MONTHLY ONE

ACAI BERRY REFUSES TO TALK TO YOU ON THE PHONE TO TRY TO GET THEM TO EXPLAIN HOW THEY CAN DO THIS.

A FRAUDULENT EMAIL WAS USED IN REGARDS TO MY DAUGHTER

WE WENT TO THE BANK AND WAS ABLE TO FILE A COMPLAINT THERE WITH THEM. UNFORTUANTELY, THEY CAN ONLY GO BACK 60 DAYS. WE ARE AWAITING THE PAPERWORK FROM THE BANK TO RECOUP SOME OF HER MONEY

IF THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT HAVE CONTACTED ANY STATE, FEDERAL AGENCY PLEASE POST SO THAT WE CAN ADD OUR NAME TO THIS COMPANY.

FOR THOSE WISEGUYS WHO STATE TO READ THE FINE PRINT, IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL, IF ONLY THE PRODUCT WAS ORDERED BY THE AUTHORIZED USER.
HOWEVER THAT IS NOT THE CASE WITH US

89.31 was charged on my bank card and since the bank had already paid it, I called the company (Devine Beauty Lab) that sold me the sample of acai berry and was told that I could not get a refund nor did they want the product back. Then a charge of $29.95 was taking out from a company called the Fit Factory and if thatwas not enough PriceLimbo took $8.5l for who knows what. I shredded my bank card and have notified the BBB in SC. I want my money back.

Beware- So far I've been charged twice w/no authorization. Once for 88.62. Then again for 94.57 with another merchant listed which is EROTSMERPUSIACA. The phone number for contact is useless. Its either a recording with no option to leave message or its busy. The charges are being disputed. Also this was charged in a two week period so they are not wasting any time stealing your money.
