I ordered a trial bottle for $3.95. When i got my bank statement they had charged my account $87.13. I have tried several times to e-mail their [protected]@acaiburn.com and they say they will get back within 48-72 hours. Thas has been two weeks. I have emailed them again, no response. This is a scam. Dont give them any credit or bank information!

I am just so pissed off with these ###s from Acaiburn & their f@#*ing scam.
I have been scammed about $400, of which I will cut their balls off if I don't refunded in full, also the FBI will be involved.
This stupid global internet buying is out of control, buy local is the only answer.
They have 10 days to refund my money or it's the FBI.
### like Acaiburn & the rest need to be locked up & have all their assets seized.

Under no circumstances have any dealings with this company.

Do not be taken in by their so-called 'free offer'.

Once they have your charge card account number, they will make charges to it for products you have not ordered for months after.

If you complain, they promise refunds which never arrive.

If, after weeks of complaining by email and phone calls and threats of complaining to your charge card company, they eventually make a refund, it is not for the full amount they originally charged you. They deduct 're-stocking' and 'postage'.

THEY RUN A SCAM. DON'T GET SUCKED IN!

My doctor has informed me that on no account must i take them, I informed the company of this by email and told them not to send anymore before free trial period ended, however they are still sending them, charging my debit card £75 per month despite the fact that i return product immediately, please help me to stop this i am at my wits end, cannot contact companyhave spent a fortune on useless phone calls

Yes you can get your money back, but it's a huge hassle.
Go online or call your bank to get details of charges. There will be a phone number listed for the outfit that is making the charges. Then call them. Call during regular business hours. Then INSIST they they cancel AND refund all charges. The recording you get at first may say that any charges already made to your account cannot be refunded. NOT TRUE. Yell at them and keep on yelling until they agree to refund the money. If they say they can refund 50%, REFUSE. Keep on refusing and don't get off the phone until they agree to refund 100%--less shipping, if they've actually shipped you something. You have to return the unused portion of the AcaiBurn in order to get your $58 back, and you have to pay to send it. You also need to get a tracking number from the post office. Then you have to track the thing until the p.o. says it was delivered. THEN you call the company, give them the tracking number, and demand your money. You'll get it back. But you need to watch your bank account or credit card charges from then on to catch all the other little companies that will charge you $7 or $8 a month or whatever--an amount they think you won't notice--and keep calling and cancelling whoever has jumped onto your gravy train. According to the two banks I have talked to, the only way to stop this for good is to cancel your current card and get a new one!

I telephoned the UK branch of the above on18/8/09 to cancel order. I had received 2 bottles of the above pills but did not want any more. I was told that the third bottle had been despatched and they debited my account accordingly. I have still not received this item or been given a refund.

The number I was given when I cancelled was 374849. The invoice numbers for the 2 bottles I received were 142626 and197020.

I should be grateful for a refund of the amount owing including the exchange rate deducted.

I got charged 3 times on my debit card for the products that I've only had for a few days and they said that I wouldn't be charged until the trial period ends which isn't for another couple days, I was wondering if I could get my money back and cancel the subscription.

i ordered the free trial /pay for shipping offer, got 1 bottle of acaiburn and 1 bottle of colonx.Colonx is from a different company in florida, cannot reach these people, called the number on my bank statement and the rep was rude and told me to send the unused bottles back, my debit card and all personal info was in the care of a sc state worker for 3 weeks, did not even have my card, to my suprise there are 3 bottles of acaiburn in a bag right now that i have been charged $79.28, three times, and $89.89 for colonx, which was the pakg deal for shipping. Oprah and Dr. Green, even sai on tv that they are upset because thiese copanies are using their names to endorse these products, and they were mad.Even if i wanted to use this product, which i dont, i dont like the practice of sending a product within 1 week of each other, why would you send me 3 bottles for a 30 day supply, it has costs me lots of trouble, i am on a disability check, they took this money out of mine and my daughters s.s.account and there wasnt enough money, the bank charged me 30.00 3 times and iam in trouble, i have no food, money, gas, and i ended up in the ER after taking acaiburn and colonx for 1 week. sweating, pouring water out of my body, drinking 2 cases of water in 3 days, and soaking 4 t-shirts a night leaving my bed soaking wet, the dr, thought i was crazy, they owe me $237.84 plus 90.00 for the bank charges and also there is a charge withanother company EZYKIT for $8.53. that had tio be cancelled too, these people are vultures, they do not care about you or your health or what kind of money situation you are in, they need to be punished by the federal government, i intend to sen this to our attorney general of SC, TTHE HONORABLE HENRY MCMASTER.

3 steps you can take now if you are a victim of this scam:

1. Chargeback. File a fraud charge with your credit card or bank and let them sort it out. They have more muscle to go after this sort of crime. Explain to them about all the consumer complaints that are on the internet and "insist" that they do charge-back or file a fraud charge. Your bank or credit card organization has all the tools necessary to find out where the charges are coming from, what business is involved, addresses and phone numbers connected to the charge and etc. You may not know or have access to this information. The banks and credit card org have all this at their fingertips and are obligated to handle the problem that has resulted.
More info at: http://www.chrismalta.com/scamtip1.asp

2. FTC. File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Their job is to monitor and go after these types of scams. Go to: http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm

3. Attorney General. File a complaint with your state Attorney General and also with the Attorney General of Iowa (where a lot of the phone numbers and addresses seem to be located)
Contact details here: http://www.naag.org/attorneys_general.php

Icancelled my subscription with acaiburn and all associates with them. But the other associates such as their membership and secrets of weight loss companys keep billing my credit card and they have put me way over my limit. Now I am in financial straights with my credit card. And cannot seem to reach these two companys. They do not seem to have email addresses so cannot reach them over the internet. Am tired and fed up with these people and what is worse the acai burn pills did nothing for my weight problem and they are still costing me money even though I have cancelled

I recently obtained a free trial offer of Acaiburn. I ended up paying for the one bottle of 60 tablets which cost me over $100 AUS which I thought was pretty outrageous. Then I find this morning another $56 taken out of my account for a company called Ulti Freshwell for something I certainly did not order. I am very annoyed! This matter has been handed over to my bank to deal with and thay are going to investigate it. I hope they are successful. NOT HAPPY!

Best solution ever...report your credit card LOST/STOLEN immediately! AcaiBurn will take your money and run! These scam artists are working every country from all around the world through their online advertisements. SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE SCAM! Report your credit card LOST/STOLEN immediately! They can't charge you after that. I read people were getting charged consistently and couldn't stop it. I looked on my banking and found I got charged $24.99 twice for a FREE trial. I had these pills in my house two days! SCAMMERS! Report your credit card LOST/STOLEN immediately! I did it and it WORKED! They haven't bothered me since. BTW, I threw the pills away. I'm done.

Ordered trial of this AcaiBurn on line with colon cleanse product. After the trial cancelled the colon cleanse thinking that covered both products (they made me sick). Later I get the AcaiBurn in the mail and a $118.00 charge on my credit card and all these multipal smaller charges. Naturally I called to cancel. Said they were going to send me information through the e-mail so I could return the product. Never came. Again I see more charges on my credit card. As it turns out these charges are Web access charges for their "support" center. I have had to call 4 seperate numbers and sit on hold waiting for an available operator, to get them to stop charging my card. DON'T ORDER THIS STUFF! It will take your time and money to stop it.

i ordered the product thinking i would give it a go, i mean they said it was only $4.95 so why not, but i was charged nearly $20 and was told it would be delivered within 3 - 7 days, 4 weeks later i received the product, then a week later i was charged the full amount again and received another bottle in the mail, then another week later was charged the full amount again, now there is no way that this bottle of pills cost over $320 for 60 tablets... if so i'm out.

Sorry, maybe I'm just a bit too sceptical but really, just how personal an email can you send to somebody who calls themself The Manager? That screams 'we really don't care what you think, suckers' to me. In England there's a saying 'pull the other one, it's got bells on'. On a lighter note I just misread 'Just Think Medias products' as Judas products.

Put a hold or cancel your credit card you used with them. If they continue to send product keep it. Anything received in the mail is yours. Also dispute your debt with your creditor. You didn't authorize any transactions and they should investigate for fraud!
