I ordered a trial bottle for $3.95. When i got my bank statement they had charged my account $87.13. I have tried several times to e-mail their [protected]@acaiburn.com and they say they will get back within 48-72 hours. Thas has been two weeks. I have emailed them again, no response. This is a scam. Dont give them any credit or bank information!

Last March I ordered acaiburn and cancelled when I was sent a bag of bottles and money was taken out of my checking account. Now its a year later and because they gave my checking account information to others, others have been taking small amounts monthly from my account. Part my fault for not doing my statements all the time, but know I found it. I just want everyone to know cause they might be doing this to you. Its amounts of 2.27 up to 9.95 or so twice a month. On your statements these charges will have a 886, 888, or 800 number, and most the time but not always a foreign cur con fee under the withdraw. I called these numbers and ask the name of the company and address, there was about 5 different names with these numbers but they all have the same address. The same address as AcaiBurn. 22100 E 26th ave Aurora Colorado 80019.
Yet not one of them will give me a refund. some of the names of these companies are Weight Loss Resorces, Progresive nutrtion, World Club Fitness, Comprehensive Weight Loss. Everyone check your statements and call your banks. Not only dose the stuff not work but they keep taking even after you cancel. Pass this on to anyone you might know also. I myself this is the first step Iam taking, by letting others know, next step is the BBB.

I wasn't able to find a good phone number at first. But after checking the website carefully, there it was [protected] for US and Canada, [protected] for Australia and [protected] for UK.

Hope this helps.

I'm a victim of a scamming company when I purchased a product called Acaiburn from USA with it you become a member of a website called Fitclub online.
I did receive the Acaiburn product but returned it one week later and phoned the company to cancel any further Acaiburn products and payments.
The operator gave me a cancellation no so I kept this information incase any further payments came out of my bank via my Mastercard and of course one year later little amounts were coming out.
I have now contacted the bank to inform them of the SCAM and have given all amounts/dates/names of companies withdrawls that are all to do with Acaiburn/Fitclub/Eliteclub.
The bank will reimburse you once you have provided evidence i.e. cancellation no etc. The bank will contact the scamming company to refund the monies for reimbursement.
I will NEVER sign up for another product like the above again. I will however check first online to see who all the companies are that are SCAMMING people out of money. Hope this has helped others to understand what to do.

Well, I guess I've joined a very large group of "scamees". As far as I have found out, there are no numbers you can call to reach anyone related to AcaiBurn period. Some people say they have talked to different people at various phone numbers, but I've had no luck reaching anyone at any of the numbers. I am handicapped and on disability and I'm out $87+ and don't see any chances of getting it back. There ought to be something that can be done about this. Looks like we could sue the internet for carrying fraudulent advertisements. There are several people that have continued to be charged a very large monthly fee for this product and continue to receive it in the mail without reordering it. It's going to be an EXTREMELY LARGE PROBLEM to cancel my debit card, notify all those concerned and get a new number, etc. I will neverr order another thing off the internet and am contemplating dropping it alltogether!

They try to make you pay 59.00 for some free pills. I called to cancel the e-book, the membership and the pills because you have to cancel all three products separately although you purchase them under one website. I decided to open the pills up today because I'm sending them back just so I can get my 4.95 worth of product that they billed me for. The cap was sealed in plastic, but as I took that off, I noticed that the seal under the cap had been opened and there were still the right amount of pills in the bottle which led me to know that these people recycle these pills. When you send in your unused portion, they send it to someone else. I am sending in all 60 of these contaminated pill and I hope no one else buys this product because you may be receiving the same ones that myself or some other unsuspecting consumer sent back to these people without a conscious.

This company does not follow through on what they say is a FREE trial offer with no hidden fees or sign up charges. I ordered the FREE trial for 4.95 sh/h and then was charged 180.00 in three additional charges and recieved NO product to show for the charges. It has been a horribly long process to get my money refunded and it still isn't in my bank account yet. Long wait times on phone, dealing with people that can't help you, and not even being able to find your so called account information, yet they are charging you and not always under their company name some charges were from a "webaccess" name.

I ordered the trial, which never was sent to me. Within a week there were charges for $2.95, $2.95 and $87.62. I called within 48 hours of ordering the product to cancel when I found out it was a subscription service and the cost. They offered to lower the price from $87.62 to $19.95 for a year if I would reconsider. They even sent me an email confirming the new price. I told them I was not interested and that I wanted to cancel before anything shipped to me. I was provided with a six digit cancellation number and told I would not be charged anything and that the $87.62 would be refunded to my account.

Today I logged onto my bank account and saw that on 10/28/09 and on 11/4/09 there were two charges for $87.62 but the interesting thing is that they were from two different companies. The first was for Improvhealth and the second was for BetterDTox. However, both companies are the same company when you call. This is how they scam you, by billing under different company names and then they tell you, you signed up for this one as well as the other one but when you canceled, you only canceled the one and not the other.

I threatened them with litigation and the fact I have notified my bank as well as the Attorney General. They made me a refund for only one of the amounts charged and refused to refund the second amount because it was past the deadline. I have filed affidavit with my bank to get the money back, which I will. I also shut down my credit card so no matter what they try to bill me for again it will not go through.

These people are scam artists and need to be shut down...

Hello,

Sorry there was some confusion when you placed your order. I'm sorry if this stressed you out. We do take customer service seriously, and want to resolve this issue in a timely manner.

Over the years I've noticed that problems like this usually occur when people fail to read our Terms of Service. That's why we go out of our way to place our TOS right next to where you input your credit card information. We also provide a link to our TOS on our home page – but some people fail to read it or are confused by it. If that was the case here, I'm sorry and I'm sure we can work things out.

Today I'd like to ask you to return the product to us so we can cancel your membership. If it has been less than 30 days since you placed your order we will refund your money – as promised in our unconditional 30-day money back guarantee.

If you still have any other questions or concerns, please contact customer support team (8/8/[protected] or use our Live Chat online support service, located on our Contact Us page. Either way, we'll work with you to solve this problem.

Once again, I'm sorry this problem developed and I hope that we can work this out to our mutual satisfaction.

Thank you,

(Mary Blaylock )

DO NOT ORDER THIS! It is a huge rip off. We were contacted by our credit card company as they were concerned about inappropriate billing after my wife ordered the sample. We had to call 3 different numbers to cancel the "membership" and were given confirmation numbers and told there was nothing more we had to do. These rip off artists have continued billing our credit card. We are working with our credit card company and will probably have to close that account. I have sent the company one last letter ordering them to cease this fraudelent activity and credit our account for the charges made. If I don't see results in the next 10 days, I am going to file a formal complaint with our attorney general's office. They have a record of being very aggressive against things just like this.

I ordered my product online in april 2009. I was sent a package and finally realized this product was not working. I called to have my visa card statement in June ! Hence, I called the acaisupport line and they said in order for me to get my refund i would have to get to return the shipped product back to them but i only got it july 17 2009. I called them to tell them that i just recieved the product and that i will ship it back to the shipping company. I aksed the rep if I needed a tracking number and he said no. Good! So I sent it back and i took a picture of the package just in case something funny would happen like these companies do with all kinds of excuses they have in the book...
Hence teo debits occurred; April 6 2009 $64.02 which I requested my $$ back regarding the 60 day money back policy and May 27 2009 $69.62. Please note these are in CAD funds. I never authorized the May 27th 2009 transaction! NEVER! but they said I had to wait for my shippment to arrive before i get my funds back...

Hence, today December 3rd I called after having spent 6.00 dollars to fax statements of my visa card of June, July and August 2009 on November 24 2009. I asked them if they can correspond with me via email when they have a response for me but they simply did not call nor replied via email especially for me as i am hard of hearing...

Guess what? They told me i needed a tracking number to locate the product but the product was sent back to the company that shipped it...They simply get it back and open the package and should advise acaiburn that the package was returned and should refund the customer...Well well well...Sorry sir we cannot help you and they hung up! Not once, twice but 3 times!

I asked for the coordinate of the company president and email and phone number but to no avail no one responds!

I am very upset...please people stay away from these scams...I learned a big lesson...Never will i order aproduct on phone or via internet...waste of time, money and energy! Can someone help me recover me funds?

Try emailing support@wu-yisource.com with your shippers number which was emailed to you upon ordering the item. This email is associated with Wu-Yi, C/O BTB Mailflight ltd, Unit 2b Vidking Industrial Estate, Hudson Road, Bedford MK41 0QB. Who store the Acaiproduct and despatch it out the to UK customers. This is also the return address, if you choose to return the product.

I received my item a week to the day of ordering. However i returned the product the same day, as i do not wish to be a member of company who deploys such ruthless tactics. There are legitimate organisations out there who sell the Acai Berry product, who do sign customers up for continual payments. The repeat ordering is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Good Luck - contact me if you require any further information

I have orderd this product a whlie ago and have yet to recieve it.
sadly there are people like my self who wish for help in loosing weight and fell for the fatefull trap. I ordered in good faith and am disgusted by this behaviour. However I pitty people who feel they have to dupe honest members of the public who work hard for their money in order to make a quick buck.
I am not prepared to phone america to attept to get my money back but I will be informing the relevent authorities and a close family friend who is a journalist to warn unsuspecting members of the public.

A few days ago, I ordered the 30-day trial bottle of this product for $2.95 shipping. It was clearly stated on their web site that should I happen to cancel within 14 days, there would be no other charges. I have this in writing, saved screen shots from the web site when I ordered, all fully documented... if anyone wants to see this proof, just email me at d_pavlica at yahoo dot com.

I called today (well within that 14-day trial period) to cancel. First, there was a long wait to talk to a live person, about 25 minutes. Then I talked to a rude woman who told me that she is cancelling, and that there would be one last charge of $87.62 for the trial. With the shipping, that makes ninety bucks for their FREE TRIAL? When I reminded her that I was cancelling well within their 14-day free trial period, she said it did not matter and started arguing with me then hung up the phone.

I called my credit card company and they said they were having a lot of problems with this company. They are scamming people all over, lots and lots of unauthorized charges. They also said that this company had a teeth whitening product, and lots of complaints over that too.

Being that I gave them my credit card number, there is no way of stopping any future charge. I would have to argue each one, and technically this is not fraud?! This is actually what my credit card company said. They suggested that I change my credit card number immediately, as this was the only way to prevent further charges, so I did.

This AcaiBurn company is awful. Stay away, blog about it, warn your friends... there may actually be a legitimate business out there selling this stuff, but be veeeeeery careful. Definitely do your homework and spend a little time before placing the order to see if the company is legit and how many complaints are out there against it. This will save you lots of time in the end.

i ordered a sample on line and shippign was 4.95 and i read it all and that was all i was ordering. A few minutes after placing the order i recieved a phone call confirming the order adn the guy told me he was signing me up for more and other things too and I told him no and just cancel it all then and that i did not want anythign then adn he finally just hung up on me! I did recieve what I thought was the sample even though i told them to cancel it all i kept it. Well the following month i got charged 79.28 by a company called improvhealth and a foreign transaction fee i called and it was from the acriburn people and I explained to her all that happened and sh finally said as a courtesy she would refund it for me but it woudl nto show upr for two or three months on my bill. well a few days later i got another bottle in the mail that i did not open adn i looked on my cc account and i was now billed 87.62 from a company calledwellbhealth and a different phone number so I called it and got the same people and they pulled up the original notes and told me tht the foirst girl caught it and that she was issueing me a credit for that too and that it would take a while too. I told them that i was going to take the shipment to the possst office and send it back as refused and she told me i could not do that. but if i would as a courtesy send ti to a different address that she woudl send me and it woudl cost me the shipping I told her i woudl when i got the credit but she never sent me the information to do tha. Well a couple of months went by and i never received credit and only an emil saying all was cancelled from my first phone call.. In the mean time i received six more small charges of 17.32 from different named companies form the first order too. I finally reported it to my credit card company (citibank) and they clossed my account and issued a credit for the six small charges but have now sent me a note that they can not help me because it has been too long for the too large charges even though i waited as the company told me to because two people confirmed they were refunding the charges. Now i called back the original people and they told me i woudl never receive credit because i did not return it all even though they said they were refunding the charges as a courtesy and asked me to return the one bottle if i would. I told them i waited as i was told but now they say it is too long and they hae no way to refund the charges . so they told me to wait this time to get the refund so the credit card comapny would not help adn now they will not either do i am out liek 160. for soem thing tht i told them i did not want five minutes after the original order and i never asked for! i also feel the credit card company is wrong since i was doing as i thought i was suppose to by not involving them when i was told the refund was coming from the company and when i realized it was not I reported it . They all win i loose! not right!

Signed up for "free" trial of Acaiburn, free trial was charged in full 14 days later. Return of 2 products (return receipt) resulted in NO REFUND. Also, WORLD FITNESS and betterdtox charged card WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. I was told by WORLD FITNESS and ACAIBURN that there was an "opt out" button somewhere on the website and a confirmation e-mail shold have been sent, IT WAS NOT. Since when is not opting out of something authorization? The name WORLD FITNESS was nowhere on any portion I completed on the website. ACAIBURN now states that becuase they changed thier credit card merchant, I have to dispute the transaction though my bank. BEWARE they are THIEVES.

As everyone here knows that Acaiburn are a bunch of crooks stealing ood peoples money, and in this case preying on our weaknesses (i.e. trouble loosing weight). As a result of hundreds of dollars going missing out of my acount, i have had to cancel my card as the only way to stop them taking money from my account! In doing this my bank (ANZ) informed me they are currently investigating hundreds of these claims for the same company. Spread the word people!

I too have been overcharged by Acaibun or Acaiberry, whatever they call themselves. I cancelled my three month free trial and have since been charge £121.12 since january and there are other suspicious transactions on my account under the headings of "web access" or "Lifestylefit". I have passed all the information on to my bank and claiming the charges back.

Cannot reach by using the “Contact” address on their website, which bounces, or by telephone - am left on hold forever!

This "free" trial subscription had me believe I would be charged some
USD4.95 or so for postage, but I was actually charged USD24.95 (Feb 26, 2009). I did receive a bottle of the product.

I was of the understanding that this was a 30-day trial and I am now shocked to see that I have been charged USD59.95 on March 19 2009 - ie I was not even given the promised 30 days in which to notify them if I wished to continue with the product, and neither was I notified that my credit card was about to be charged again, and I have neither received a second shipment.

Let's be fair to everyone. Acaiburn has placed the details of their plans to enroll their customers in an expensive repetative sales scheme in the most obscure part of their promotions. Yes, it may be there, but not on the display pages where it promotes the FREE TRIAL. WELL, A FREE TRIAL SHOULD BE FREE AND THEIR PRACTICES ARE INTENTIONALLY MISLEADING AND DECEPTIVE. This is fraudulent and no legitimate product is marketed this way. And. . . it didn't work!

Yes, If you canceled the free trail over 14 days ( start to count on order date ). You will be charged $59.95 for free trial. So free trail actually is not free. When you sign on the free trial, the web access fee and membership fee were automatically deducted from your credit card account, these extra are not free, either.

LIAR"S! Yes these company's do display the terms and conditions...All the way down on the bottom of the page in small print where no one would think to look. And the (order now) link is also in the (middle) of the page ...Way way before you would even see the small TERMS AND CONDITIONS. I also had to cancel my CC # and have new ones issued. These thieves never got a dime from me.I got credit from Chase. They are very much aware of these crooks and took very good care of me. I also notified ABC action news and they are being investigated if that helps.

We do our best to avoid this by providing our Terms of Service on our order page right next to where you enter your credit card. We also have a separate link to our TOS from our home page. Did you take the time to read them before you placed your order? If not or if you are confused, I'd like to help you out.

I invite you to return the unused portion of your order so we can end our business relationship. If you are still covered by 30-day guarantee we will refund your money right away. We take our money back guarantee very seriously.

I'd also like to invite you to contact our customer support team, which is available 24/7. You can either call us at 8*8*8-591-2/1/9/0 or use our Live Chat online support service. The Live Chat link is on our Contact Us page. It can help you out with most of the most common questions and concerns we receive.

We believe that we can work this out so that everyone will be happy. I can't wait to hear from you

Thank you,

(Martin Thompson)
