Falsely banned whilst asleep 2 days ago.
For context, the servers reset at midnight (Washington) and that's 5am here (London). I also only play on playstation 5. I had played zombies the day prior with high ping and lag, finishing for the night around 2am (London time). Once I woke up at 8am, I was banned for "manipulating game data" which is impossible on PS5. This seems to be linked to a recent password change triggering the anti-cheat not just for me, but for hundreds of others too.
I have appealed my ban on Activision's site, still banned. I sent a formal complaint to battlenet, still banned. I even tried reaching out to them on twitter/ x. Nothing. As I live in the UK, I can't send a complaint to BBB (seeing as Activision only listen to them) unless I spoof my phone number, which is getting more and more tempting. The only issue is that's probably going to cost me.
I have proof I own the account, I have my steam linked, my battlenet account linked and both old and new emails (as I changed them recently), 2FA and purchase receipts.
My activision ID is calcium#4555004
Images attached show the in-game ban message I saw at 8am, then the AI response to my appeal and then my message and response to/from blizzard.
Claimed loss: 2+ days of play and about £200-£1000 of in-game items
Desired outcome: Unbanned account with all levels, paid items (and an apology for using AI on my appeal). If not, a full refund for every purchase.
