We booked a weekend away via these crooks, but couldn't go. The day before we were due to travel, my wife had a serious injury while training in the gym, which meant we couldn't make it. The medial advice we received, was clear, my wife needs to rest and cant travel. We informed these crooks within 20 minutes of speaking to the Doctor. We have written prove of my wife's injury from our Doctor. These crooks are unwilling to rearrange or refund, they prefer to rob our £170. Currently taking them to court. They are blaming the hotel, my contract is with these crooks not the hotel. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE.

I didn’t use my experience before the end date. As I split up from my partner, and she moved out this fell off the radar. It was also purchased as a birthday gift by her parents (we’re now on good terms).
However activity superstore weren’t willing to put this down as mitigating circumstances and extend the end date so I could use the experience.
Recommendation: Use before valid by date!

Rural one night bed and breakfast
I have contacted customer services several times, either a hotel not taking voucher or one hotel accepted but stated voucher is for 2 night no breakfast which is not what I paid for.
I have put several complaints in asking for a refund as the voucher is not what I bought so have been mis sold.
Been told past cooling off period but voucher lasts 2 years and surely if giving persuading issues redeeming or booking what I actually paid for a refund should be offered.

Gift experience voucher
I have contacted the company in regard to 2 vouchers that expired 01/06/23. These vouchers were given to me as a present Dec 2022. Unfortunately I never received them as I was admitted to hospital severely ill with covid. I only found the vouchers at the beginning of July 2023. I explained the issue but as expired there was nothing they would do. I hoped that they would realise that this was not negligence on my part but purely accidental. The vouchers were worth £100, which is a lot of money to lose.

I bought a voucher for my nephew to visit Bear Grylls. For Christmas.
I went to book for summer and was told the voucher was invalid and expired on 1st June.
When making a purchase you should be given 12 months.

Vouchers and customer service
Voucher for London bayeaux cruise received at the start of covid. Eventually when i could take it they had discontinued that experience. Tried to book for gastro pub. Only valid Monday to Thursday. I'm a teacher so not good. Waited till half term to use them the restaurant told me one voucher not valid. Customer service take 2 days to respond and respond as if they haven't even read my email. Awful. I'm going today and I'll have to pay for the lunch.

Redeeming a voucher
I originally brought a helicopter flying lesson over 2 years ago I booked my lesson at wellsbourne airfield kept getting emails back saying no spaces at the moment will let you know when a space is free, so a long time had passed and I decided to chase up my problem to be told they don't flying from wellsbourne anymore but all of the other locations was too far from where I I've I tried rebooking another venue but had the same experience, I was then stuck with a voucher for something that I didn't really want it had past the refund period and finally booked a experience day at the shard to then receive an email saying I need to pay an extra £20 to extend my voucher as it would be past the expiry date.
Horrendous company takes a week for people to get back to your emails that's if they actually do ever respond.

Girls pamper choice for two
Where do I start?! Do not use this company! I was in discussions talking to various reps on booking a spa day for myself and 5 girls purchased on vouchers. We went through so many options but most hotels were too far away to book and I was only interested in somewhere for around an hour drive and weekend only.
When I when to trade in vouchers as finally found a hotel that met our needs (still over an hour drive), the hotel called me to say they do not accept Saturday bookings!
Back to the drawing board and the company then found a spa we could use for Saturday so booked the vouchers. Told my friends and they booked time off work - all confirmed.
I spoke to the hotel on treatments but the additional cost was £270 with a discounted rate however, I had to cancel (gave them 5 days notice) and then they told me we weren't allowed to use the spa! Spoke to Activity Superstore and they said the hotel agreed to take us as a good will gesture! Now I'm left without a spa on the date we have booked off work and they won't offer a refund! total shambles of a company and need investigating. Why would a company not be able to refund a person if they are unable to provide a service they purchased vouchers for! None of the paperwork state you cannot use these vouchers at a weekend.

Theatre package to London
Booked an activity superstore voucher for my partners 30th , when looked to book we found a lot of the places we liked didn't included Saturday stays so we decided to pay an extra £160 to upgrade and have a 4* overnight theatre package in london . Once voucher came i had to book direct with OMG hotels.com .Requested a show and date and they came back to advertise that date was no available which was fine so opted for our 2nd choice show Cinderella to be told this show is no longer running and hasn't been since June 2022. I made this voucher booked in November 2022 and on my booking confirmation it stated Cinderella when questioned hotels.com they said all shows were subject to availability however i will accept a show not being available if its booked up and has no seats however to be falsely advertising a show that hasn't ran in nearly 6 months is beyond me . OMG hotels said it wasn't there issue and to take it up with Activity Superstore, after making a complaint with them wanting a full refund i have heard nothing, absolutely discussed i am £270 down with nothing !

Roman baths getaway
We were bought a different overnight stay experience but decided to upgrade by £150 to the Roman Baths experience as we've both always wanted to stay in Bath. We sent off the details required, and awaited the response from OMG Hotels who are the experience provider. Activity Superstores website, and a subsequent email from them stated the Hilton Hotel would be where we were going to be booked into. A slight discrepancy in the website does show another unnamed hotel slightly down the road which is a possibility but overall I wasn't worried as both locations were in town. We then receive a response from OMG Hotels stating we have been booked into a hotel two miles outside of Bath? I responded by forwarding the activity superstore email stating clearly that The Hilton in Bath was the hotel associated with this activity and also included links to the Activity Superstore webpage. After several back-and-forth emails, OMG Hotels acknowledged the mistake made by Activity Superstore and have since booked us into the Hilton in Bath. However, I am absolutely disgusted in Activity Superstore that they are willfully selling the experience as a night in a hotel WITHIN Bath and instead customers run the risk of being 2/3 miles outside of the town. Had OMG Hotels not sorted the problem, we would be stuck with an experience that isn't anything like what was listed by Activity Superstore. Will be recommending to friends and family they stay away from this website unless they want to run the risk of getting something completely different to what has been sold to them. Also had no response to emails fired off to various branches of Activity Superstore. Including the reviews, customer and corporate emails associated with Activity Superstore.

Super cars experience
Encouraged and gave me step by step instructions to book my experience knowing my voucher would not be honoured as it was not extendable gave they another 35 pounds on top of the 70 pounds purchase price then received an email one month before the date stating sorry for any upset but its not an extendable voucher , now over a hundred pounds out of pocket i'm furious they knew all along , I have all the messages outrageous.

no-one is resolving the problem
I bought a 4* overnight stay and theatre package for two in May 2022 for £279 and I tried to book Phantom of the Opera and overnight stay with OMG Hotels to which initially I received an email requesting dates we require, I sent the information back and got no response, I sent another email, no reply, I tried again and still no reply. I then contacted Activity Superstore (21/6/22) to complain to which they said they would contact OMG hotels. I waited again for a response from OMG hotels and nothing so emailed Activity Superstore again on 9th July 2022, they replied back asking for dates I would like, and they would forward to OMG Hotels, I gave them more dates (13/7/22) to which they replied with apologies and would pass on the supplier team manager to get it sorted. On the 15th of July I got another email confirming this matter had been passed to the supplier team manager and would get this sorted as soon as possible. On the 1st of September I send another email to Activity Superstore confirming I had not heard anything and would like my money back. Friday 2nd September, I received an email back apologizing again and telling me they will pass on the supplier team manager to get sorted and unfortunately, I cannot have a refund has it had been invoiced by OMG Hotels. On the 13th of September I received an email from Activity superstore saying that they have been told that OMG Hotels have now contacted me. Unfortunately, this was not the case, I checked my emails and spam messages, so got back onto Activity Superstore again (13/9/22) I was very fed up with messages going backwards and forwards getting no-where so gave them my phone number and asked the manager there to contact me. An email came back telling me to message customer services and a manager would get back to me. 14/9/22 I emailed customer services to call me please. On the 20/9/22 I changed my phone number so let them know my new number, On the 22nd of September I got an email asking me to contact Customer Services to request a call back. Today I received an email from Activity Superstore telling me yet again that OMG Hotels have been in contact with me, and they haven't.
Desired outcome: I would like this matter sorted out asap or have my money back please.I would like someone to actually speak to me over the phone rather than messages taking days, weeks to get replies back. I would like a written apology

Hot air balloon flight
My wife purchased the virgin hot air balloon ride in November 2018 for my birthday I have experienced endless cancellations not including covid,my last flight cancellation being 11th August 2022,I recently contacted Activity superstore and requested an exchange, their response was that my voucher had expired although I have a letter of confirmation stating if the flight is cancelled by them,which it was, my new expiry date is 11th February 2023.
A refund or exchange is the least they should offer consider they have had our money now for nearly four years.

not being able to get credit note

Hotel included in two night break
Hi,
I was given as a gift a 2 night hotel break for Christmas 2019, due to the Pandemic I could not redeem this break and I paid £20 to extend it for a further 6 months. I finally got to redeem this weekend but the experience was very very disappointing, on arriving at the hotel which was advertised as a 4* it was clearly visible this was not the case. The host was very polite however and took us to what was the attic room which was tiny and the en-suite even smaller with the sink actually being in the room bedroom itself. The room was very very poorly decorated and desperately in need of a major refurbishment and not very clean, there was a smell of cannabis as you entered the property also, this has been by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and myself and my husband cut the break short and did not stay for the 2nd night.
This hotel should not be on your list of hotels to stay or should be given the correct star rating so people are not given false information and know before hand what they could expect!
The giver of this experience is very disappointed also as we have not received the experience we were expecting.
Desired outcome: This hotel to be given the correct star rating on your website and to be refunded at least the £20 I paid to extend voucher.

Do not waste your money with Activity Superstore
We redeemed our voucher in January 2022 with Activity Superstore booking the Scotsman’s Pack in Derbyshire and receiving confirmation of the booking and paying extra for a Friday/Saturday night with the hotel directly. Then on 14 July the Scotsman’s Pack called and cancelled our booking due to a system error and double booking! So our booking wouldn’t stand, best bit is they didn’t even try to resolve it, it was ‘tuff, your bookings cancelled…goodbye’
The following day I contacted Activity Superstore by the only method available email as they don’t have a phone number listed. The website says they answer questions in 24 hours, but the email reply say 5 days! ‘Your query will be handled by a member of our Customer Support Team during office hours. Please expect a reply within 5 working days.’
After several emails the issues is still unresolved as I can’t use the voucher as it says its used or exchange it due to the same reason, even though I was told in an email yesterday it was resolved.
Personally I wouldn’t user or recommend either Activity Superstore https://www.activitysuperstore.com or the hotel, Scotsmans Pack Inn https://www.scotsmanspackcountryinn.co.uk/ to anyone unless you like dealing with unorganised, unprofessional and incompetent companies!

Voucher for cream tea & musical show/play
I received a voucher from my partner we were not able to go on the certain dates listed, there was also a very small choice of musicals, as I had seen the ones listed already, so we decided to pay & Extended the voucher, and watch a play instead.
Covid then hit and We could not go due to the law!
We finally booked our date, for TODAY!
We booked a while back and got an email through saying our booking was confirmed for that date please contact the venue below to confirm…there was no contact details below, just a form in which we con pleated our details and submitted.
It then said they would be in contact with more details soon.
WE HAVE NO DETAILS! THE BOOKING IS FOR TODAY!
We have tryed to get hold of activity superstore so many times before regarding this!
But there is no direct contact for customer services!
We got hold of Samantha on a online chat, and she said she would get back to us yesterday.
We are still waiting!
We have booked the day off work, so we have lost money, but can’t go on our date as we have no details of what time where or how to pay etc!
What a nightmare!

Experiences Not Available and False Advertising
I was given a voucher in December 2020 for a Classic Race Day at Lingfield Park. Unfortunately we were unable to make any of the (highly limited) dates available for this experience in 2021 but we did find a date in 2022 that we wanted to attend. However, when I went to book the experience I was told that this experience was no longer available.
I then spent a long time searching this (not very easy to use website) to decide on 2 tickets to see either The Prince of Egypt or 9 to 5 the Musical. I placed my order on 23rd March, only to find, that these musicals were also no longer available(!) The musicals on offer were not ones that I either wished to see or see again.
I have wasted so much time on the wesbite and really struggled to find anything suitable and so I would like a refund but I have been told this is not possible by customer services which I believe is outrageous.
Activity Superstore have failed to deliver on TWO different experiences and so we would like a refund. Please can a manager please resolve this for us.
