Impressive Home Security Evaluation by Safe Home Control - Highly Recommended!
I recently had a visit from the folks at Safe Home Control, and I gotta say, I was impressed. They came by to do a security evaluation of my home, and they did it for free! They pointed out some areas where my home might be vulnerable to break-ins, and they gave me some recommendations on how to make it safer. They even gave me some potential solutions to consider.
I really appreciated the time they took to explain everything to me. They didn't rush through the evaluation, and they made sure I understood everything they were saying. They were also really friendly and easy to talk to.
After they left, I felt like I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision about my home security. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything, but I did end up signing up for their monitoring service. It's nice to know that someone is keeping an eye on my home when I'm not there.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Safe Home Control to anyone who wants to improve their home security. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and they really care about keeping you and your home safe.

Last week, I had an experience with ADT Home Security Systems & Monitoring that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I received a call from them informing me that my burglar alarm had gone off. I answered all their questions and confirmed that there was no one at my house. I requested that they call the police, which is their job, and they assured me that they would and that someone would keep me informed.
However, I heard nothing back from them. I decided to check the camera footage, and to my dismay, I saw that there had indeed been a break-in. The burglars were clearly visible in the video, but still, no police had arrived.
I called ADT back to inquire about the situation, and they informed me that they had notified the police but had not informed them that it was a burglary in progress. When I asked why, they had no answer for me.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service that ADT provided me. I pay for their services to protect my home, but they failed to do so. It is unacceptable that they did not inform the police of the situation properly, and I am left wondering why I am paying for such useless service.
I would not recommend ADT Home Security Systems & Monitoring to anyone. They provide zero protection and are a waste of money. I suggest looking into other security companies that can provide better service and actually protect your home.

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with ADT Home Security Systems & Monitoring. I mean, I signed up with them hoping for some peace of mind, but all I've gotten is a whole lot of stress and frustration. I've only been a customer for a couple of months, and already I'm regretting every minute of it.
First off, they promised me all sorts of stuff when I signed up - promotional credits for three months, a $100 gift card, the works. But when it came time to actually deliver on those promises, it was like pulling teeth. The sales rep, Able Cendejas, and the district manager, Terese Kent, were both incredibly unprofessional and just plain rude. And it's not just them - every time I've had to call customer service or talk to an account specialist, it's been a nightmare. I've been hung up on multiple times, and every time I call, there's no record of my previous concerns or complaints.
But here's the real kicker - when I tried to cancel my service and have them come pick up their equipment, they flat-out refused. Even though they supposedly offer a six-month cancellation guarantee with no penalty, they wouldn't let me cancel. And let me tell you, that's not a great feeling when you're trying to protect your family and your home. If they can't even honor a simple promise like that, how can I trust them to have my family's best interests in mind?
I've spent hours on hold with these people, and I'm still not any closer to a resolution. The account specialist I was talking to randomly put the original sales rep, Able Cendejas, on the phone to deny that he ever promised me anything. And the district manager, Terese Kent, won't even answer my calls anymore. It's like they're just trying to wear me down so I'll give up and keep paying for their crappy service.
And to top it all off, now they're telling me that the six-month guarantee doesn't even apply unless there have been three or more problems with the system. What kind of BS is that? It's just one more example of how dishonest and disrespectful this company is.
So yeah, I wouldn't recommend ADT to anyone. If you're looking for a dependable security company that will actually make you feel safe, look elsewhere. This company is a complete joke.

On March 6, 2024, an outdoor security camera was installed at my home. The camera cord leading from the outside to the inside wall of the home was wired and stapled in a manner seemingly with no regard or respect for my home. The cord was stapled to the wall in a zig zag fashion (vertical/horizonal), returning to vertical position with stapling ending approximately 27 inches from floor. The cord from this point dangled loosely from the wall, dragging along the floor down to the plug-in with the power strip. Note, the installer performed this task without moving the television or tv stand; he basically worked around it. I had made myself available to this tech regarding moving furniture if need be. He was aware of this, as I had moved an accent table in the front room for him. This mishap in the master bedroom could have been avoided had he asked for help.
Claimed loss: Zero-dollar amount incurred. The aesthetic in appearance is awful and I would like for an installer to come to my home and redo the placement of the cord.
Desired outcome: Hopefully, the cord will be stapled down the wall vertically until it meets with the base board and stapled in place. This will undoubtably result in a professional and more unison appearance, as opposed to zig zag.

My previous security service term it ended on 06/29/2023 requested by be to be cancel due to your poor customer service, even though I still paid for the period of 07/01/2023-07/31/2023 since I was not able to ever to get in touch with your customer service, reason been customer service did not pick up the phone and when they did, they claimed that they cannot hear me at all, I called many times (at least 10 times) to informed you once again that my service is cancelled since June 29, 2023 I should not be receiving any more invoices, now since my service have begun disconnected on June 29, 2023. I have noted a big discrepancy, I should not receive a bill for month of August, 2023 without services begin provided & service begin cancelled(which I cancelled the service on( 2 ) previous phone calls) I should be getting a credit/ check back to me for a month I paid, and service does not begin providing either (July 2023). I formally ask for you to reimburse me for the month of July 2023 & remove this new invoice for the month of August 2023., And it states that I will not be receiving any penalties.
Your prompt attention to this request would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been dealing with ADT for years now, but as of July 5, 2023 my hall monitor detector has been going off. I called and talked to several customer service rep about this issue. I brought a new battery that didn’t work, so ADT sent out a new hall monitor device. I installed the new hall monitor system and the problem is still ongoing. I asked each customer service rep to send a tech out to see what’s the issue they only suggested virtual appointment. I had a virtual appointment at 10 o’clock on today and the person call suggested that I need a new monitor, what? This person did no testing of the system no virtual anything. It was a time wasted, not only for disappointment, but talking to these people who can’t help I feel that my home is still not secure and I’m very very irate at this point.
Desired outcome: Reimbursed for this months payment since I didn’t have full services to my home being secure. To have someone professionally to come out and see why this monitor is not functioning or get rid of this system.

April 27, 2023 ADT presented to my new home to install the security service. I was already a costumer having a system install in my previous home. When the installer presented for the service he immediately started to install, at some point he stated that I sign the consent for the service. The contract for installation was sent to my phone and I reviewed it and then signed. And the system was installed and I went on with daily events. This month while reconciling by bank statement I notice a deduction of $83, so I called ADT to understand what this charge was related to. I was informed that it was a payment for a $4000 installation fee. I was astounded to find out that on the last group of documents there was an installation fee of the $4000. I was never told about this and pretty upset because I would have never said yes to that, and feel taken advantage of the situation. Only wanted to continue the plan similar to one I had previously.
Desired outcome: I want some of this installation fee waived
