Disappointing Experience with Aeroflot: Cancelled Ticket and Poor Customer Service
I and my wife had a really bad experience with Aeroflot. We bought a ticket for 1000 dollars which usually costs 500 dollars. Unfortunately, we missed our departure flight and they cancelled our ticket without any consideration. We were really disappointed that they didn't even let us keep our return tickets. We had to buy new tickets and paid another 1500 dollars this time. It was really frustrating because we had no other choice.
I would not recommend buying any tickets from this company. It was a really bad experience for us and we don't want anyone else to go through the same thing. It's really important to make sure you don't miss your flight, but we feel like Aeroflot could have been more understanding and helpful in our situation. We hope that they can improve their customer service in the future.
Disappointing Experience with Cheapoair and Aeroflot Airlines: Passport Issue and Lack of Customer Support
I recently purchased a ticket from San Juan to Istanbul through Cheapoair, with the flight being operated by Aeroflot airlines. However, upon arriving at the airport, I was informed that I could not board the plane due to my passport being close to expiration. I immediately reached out to Cheapoair's customer support for assistance, but unfortunately, they were not able to provide me with any help. In fact, they even suggested that I purchase a new ticket, which was quite frustrating. Can you believe that? They were trying to sell me a new ticket instead of helping me out!
After several attempts to resolve the issue, I ended up having to pay an additional $500 to renew my ticket, bringing the total cost to around $1400. It was a significant amount of money, and I was not happy about it. To make matters worse, a customer representative from Cheapoair called me later and informed me that Aeroflot was unable to change my original ticket to a new one. I was advised to contact Aeroflot's office in Puerto Rico, but to my surprise, there was no such office. I was left feeling helpless and frustrated.
I reached out to Aeroflot's office in Russia, hoping to get some assistance, but they were not able to help me either. It was a disappointing experience, and I felt like I was left to fend for myself. In the end, I only received a refund of $75, which was a small consolation for the trouble I had gone through.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend booking tickets through Cheapoair or flying with Aeroflot airlines. It was a regrettable experience that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.

Problem with the check-in
On April 22.,2023, we arrived at 2pm. on a delayed Turkish Airlines flight from Budapest to Istanbul. Our other plane left for Moscow at 3.25.pm. So we were on time at the counter. Unfortunately, we did not receive boarding passes, because the staff of the Aeroflot service company did not arrive to the counter on time or even did not arrive at all. A staff of the Turkish Airlines called him six times at the counter and he said that he would arrive in few minutes. The staff at the counter told us we wait, because only the staff of the service company can give us boarding passes, and do not worry because the plane is waiting for us. The mentioned employee did not come, the plane left and in addition we can not even use our return tickets. We are currently in Istanbul and had to buy new tickets to Jekatyerinburg. We go to Jekatyerinburg tomorrow - 24.04.2023.-but unfortunately we need buy new tickets for the return trip as well. We lost a lot of money because of service company.
Desired outcome: We want to get back the price tickets paid for route Istanbul-Jekatyerinburg and Jekatyerinburg-Istanbul.
About the Refund of Aeroflot ticket
I Did the booking from Delhi to Moscow to Kaliningrad on 19 March 2019. Due to unfortunate events of war my ticket was cancelled, and I apply for refund.
Then the employee gave me reasons of sanctions and I agreed
So they suggested me to make notarized document of the letter for refund and present it to Russian Aeroflot office. I did present the documents but now they said I need to translate this document into Russian language. How I am supposed to translate official notary doc by indian government. Really horrible service when you ask for refund.
Inappropriate behavior/ lack of knowledge
Me and my friend planned to travel from moscow to new delhi with our pet(female dog). We have been there in russia for 6 years of education. As we completed our course we arranged every document of pet to travel but this lady (aeroflot check in supervisor at svo airport moscow on 24 july night) stopped us and she were constantly asking for different different kind of documents like DGFT LICENSE which is useful for commercial import of dogs . The lady was chatting witb some stupid guy on whatsapp to confirm our documents. This should not be a way to operate for check in control. We had noc from india and there is no need of dgft license if you just travel with your dog in airplane. As a result of her lack of knowledge about rules and regulations we had to leave our pet at airport and we doesn't know anyone in moscow. Me and my dog is suffering just because of this lady. I request aeroflot company to make sure my dog travel from moscow to delhi within just 4 or 5 days as she already have all documents of pets. Traveled on 25th jul 2022 from moscow to delhi.. (planned to travel with my pet) leaving permanently.
* all the documentation was done papers were clear, but this lady at check-in keep asking for dgft form. I tried to explain to her all the time that this document is not necessary if we are taking our pet permanently but she doesn't listen to me.
But she keep arguing to left my pet abandoned at the airport. As my visa was expiring I couldn't manage to stay.
I found an unknown man in the airport paid him a few bucks and asked him to take care of my pet for 2 days. I traveled to india and now I have an indian gazette copy of byelaws of dgft rules which I am attaching hereby.
The govt. Document clearly state that I can bring two pet with me and no dgft certificate will be required.
We already suffered too much just because of someone's lack of knowledge.
Please arrange for my pet to travel to india.
All her documents are verified. She is not eating anything and just waiting at the door for the last 16 hrs. Please help us.
We also have further reservations booked on 27th july.

I have placed a complaint for lost baggage and could recuperate them only 4 days after the begining of my cruise which was very uncomfortable for me, as I'm 90 years old with 103 kg and couldnt find any replacement clothes on the boat.
I have submitted a complaint for a compensation on 9 november and havent received any reply from your customer service, which is very disappointing.

Bad behavior of Russian employee
I am munish kumar.. Indian citizen.. Living in vietnam.. I go to aeroflot airline office in 39b truong son near airport... I just go there for ask about flight..
Saigon to serbia... Even I have company in serbia.. Vietnamesee staff was there.. But I didn't bring passport... But I show them my passport copy in my mobile... And they given me advise we just reserved tickets and on airport you can pay.. If airport staff agree with your profile... I accepted.. But one russian person come maybe he was office manager or whatever... He asked me have original document... I said no.. But without he listen anything he sign with hand go out to office... Very bad manners rude person I never saw before... He cheap person don't know how to respect costumer... Just can say please bring passport then can do... 3 times he sign me out with hand.. I am so disappoint... But vietnamese staff was so nice.
baggage mishandling
I had travelled from New Delhi to Oslo by flight no Su 233 & my Booking reference no was WDGXKL. Initially your flight was delayed from delhi by 1 hour 10 mints .So because of that we missed Connecting flight from Moscow, Which was scheduled at 10:20 am in the Morning so We have to wait for approx 8 Hours at Moscow airport. But would like to thank for giving Accommodation at Moscow airport.
Now issue is that my 2 baggage was not handling was not appropriate, due to that my one trolley bag was burst from one side & lock of another bag was found broken. So would expect compensation in that case & if you want me to share Pictures of both the baggage let me know .Will share with you .

rebooking my flight due to accident
I has to travel from jfk -USA to Cairo Egypt, unfortunately I had a bus accident the day before my travel
I try to contact the airline to hold my booking so I can rebook firstly they refuse but after lot of fights on phone the just make hold and ask me to submit the papers my self to the airport office for my medical records and I did so
The problems were in the following;
1- the ladies on the front desk in the airport were lier and unhelpful at all, and they keep telling me they are not responsible for this reports although I got such info from their call center before
2- although I have ambulance report and medical report from the hospital but they didn't approve it
3- they ask me to go back to the hospital to bring a new report which will cost me more 7 to 8 hours to do also it will cost me 200 hundred dollars to do
4- they were races and treat me with rude way only because I am not Russian and keep speaking to each other in Russian
5 -they don't understand English and can't read my medical report so they refuse it as they translated in wrong way
6-they were so mean in treating me although I have serious medical issue
7- I can't reach anyone can help through phone call or on the desk as manager .
8 I have a document shows I can flight by 5 sept and I need my flight on 2 nd so I will be able to see my doctor in my home country but they still refuse to do
My health going worst and up till now I don't to know how to fly to my home country as I need to use my ticket ?

I have sent twice complaints about this flight to the airline with no response. They ignore the traveler hoping they will go away. Delayed flight, SU101 on March 13, 2019 from NY to Moscow departed late and arrived thirty minutes before scheduled departure of connecting flight. Rather then hold the connecting flight twenty minutes I was forced to remain in the Moscow terminal for eight hours with no access to food or comfort. The connecting flight did not have the special meal that was ordered. I want to escalate this but I do not know how looking for suggestions.
poor customer service
I purchased 3 tickets for myself and two of my small children. Then I called Aeroflot customer service to make sure we have seats that are together with my 7, and 9 years old. My children have special needs. I spoke with an agent his name is Anthony. He was very rude and said that he can not help you to sit together. Now we will have to sit separately. And when I asked him if we can talk with someone who can help us, he refused to let us speak with a customer service supervisor. Then we tried to call back hoping to talk with different agent, but Anthony was the only one picking up the phone. Very rude agent Anthony, very poor customer service. We might have to cancel a flight as I can't sit next to my children. Very armature operation.

This is to bring in your notice that I traveled to Paris from New Delhi on 09-May-19 via Aeroflot Airline and on arrival in Paris I found that my baggage was broken. I visited the ALYZIA helpdesk and they created a claim report for it. The actual claim amount was 65 euros and the airline has approved to reimburse only 32 euros for the same. Please could you help me in regards to the same.
lost luggage
The lost my bag where i arrived in Uzbeckastain and foud my bag 12 hours later. I had to get up out the hotel bed and travel back to airport to pick up luggage. On the way back to the states the lost my bad from Russia to JFK. I came home 4/21 and its 4/23 and noone has seen my bag or even gave me a call. I have called several times an they are rude and not helpdul.
irrational behaviour of a service crew member.
I was travelling with my wife and a 1 yr old baby from Brussels to Moscow on 17/4/19. I asked for a basic essential element, a glass of water to make milk for my baby. A crew member (Male air hostess) named AFGENY was so rude like a racist, on asking he bluntly denied. Had to ask other crew member who helped me up. I am a frequent traveler but this sort of behaviour I never had in my life.. I just cannot bear with the insult which brings me to this platform far off to complaint for that [censored]. Strict action should be taken against him so that these sort of people should not spoil the name of your airlines.

I had a flight on the on 17/01/19 from CAI to LAX and on 19/02/19 from LAX to CAI, unfortunately I had an accident on the 16/01/19 and My ankle was broken, I couldn't reach my flight. On the 5th of january, 2019 our Aeroflot flight Bucharest - Moscow was cancelled. Was rescheduled until next day afternoon. Flight RO9205. It was 4 of us: me, my husband, my sister and her daughter. We lost our next flight that we were suppose to take in the morning on the 5th of january Moscow-Cheboksary. So, we lost those tickets (costed me £100 each). I had to buy 4 new tickets Moscow - Kazan (had to buy Aeroflot tickets again) and then take a taxi Kazan-Cheboksary in the middle of the night (about 180 kilometres drive). We would like to request compensation.
I submitted a request to aeroflot but they responded that they are not going to compensate us for our losses.
no boarding announcement caused us to miss flight!
We missed our flight to Athens due to Aeroflot's despicable customer service at the airport in Russia, on January 3, 2019, flight SU2110, party of three. We arrived at the Russian airport from NYC for a connection with final destination to Athens. We Arrived at the Russian airport with plenty of time to spare for our flight to Athens & sat by the gate & at NO time did they EVER announce they were boarding! So we just sat there waiting to hear the boarding announcement like they ALWAYS do at ANY other airport we've been to (& we've been to PLENTY!). When we finally decided to check with the person at the counter why boarding was taking so long, she rudely said the bus to the plane had already departed & that there was no way to get us out to the plane at that point, that we had just missed our flight & that we were responsible for buying a NEW ticket! We couldn't believe such atrocity! We just sat that entire time next to gate waiting to hear a boarding announcement & turns out they had already left & we didn't even know! We're regular world travelers & have NEVER had that happened to us before! EVER! An airline that doesn't announce that the plane is being boarded?!?! What kind of none-sense is that?!?! Why on earth would you set up your customers for failure like that?! Aeroflot's horrible customer service cost us A LOT of money on new plane tickets & it also cost us a whole day of our vacation trip! We had to waste an entire day of our trip sleeping in airports! This horrible experience RUINED my birthday trip! That was unacceptable customer service! Furthermore, we then went upstairs to talk to Aeroflot's customer service to see how they'd rectify the situation & they couldn't care LESS! They had a horrible "I don't care about your problem/deal with it" attitude; they had a very thick Russian accent which made things even harder, & they refused to help! They said we just had to buy new tickets & they refused to take any responsibility on the fact that we missed the flight not because we were late or negligent, but because THEY failed to announce the boarding flight through the speaker like any other normal airline!
This was the WORST experience I've ever had flying anywhere! And I've flown A LOT! to all parts of the world! I couldn't believe their lack of empathy & how much they just simply didn't care AT ALL!
HORRIBLE airline & HORRIBLE customer service! Will NEVER give them my business again & will caution friends & family against flying with these horrible people!

On 20.12.18 me together with my husband Goldman Andrei and two our children: Adel Goldman and Osnat Levin took a connected flight from TLVNY with a stop in Moscow SVO.
flight #SU 0505: time: 00:35 and then flight SU 0102 from MSC to NY, where I had paid for an infant basinet and ended up not getting a priority sit with a basinet.
- as we arrived to NY we missed 1 piece of luggage, which we were further claimimng for two weeks, calling the airline representatives in NY, only when we arrived to JFK on our way back to TLV and personally went to lost and found beuro, we coul;d find them there.
- On 2.01.19 Flight SU0101 JFKSVO - was delayed by an hour with no explanation, and for this reason, we had missed our connection from SVTLV, when I asked the crew member on the NYMSW bound plain, she assurred me that we will be able to make the plane MSW->TLV. As we had arrived to MSC at 3.01.19 7:00 am, we found out that our plane had left and the Aeroflot representative in MSW told us that they are not supposed to wait for the delayed customers, even if it was for airline reason.
- as we were 4 family members - 2 adults and 2 children, she said that the most close flight she could offer to us will be in 23h, and that she will have to split us up.
- the company had eventially provided a room in the hoel and promised to compensate the food expenses as we eat only Kosher food.
- at the end the company provided us with one ticket at 6:50 pm 03.01.19 and three other tickets at 00:50 am on 4.01.19, the kosher food wasnt prrovided on the board of the plane, as promised. My children wer hungry.
- as we finally arrived to israel we missed a piece of luggage, which we have been waiting for for another 2 days.
I demand from the airline to compensate me and my family for the aggrivation: ffor the delayed flight, for not provided kosher food during our stay in MSW, for not providing kosher food on the way back, for the missed work day on 04.01.19. It can be either in the form of ticket of finacial.
