AGS International Movers Broken products & abusive practice

AGS has terrible service and attitude. They not only did take 2 months longer than expected to deliver my goods, but they also have broken a significant amount of furniture. I paid for insurance (it was very expensive) and they hide themselves behind legal details (abusive general conditions) to not reimburse. I would highly recommend anyone not to use their service

AGS International Movers Quality of the move / damaged items

I moved from the UK to France after having left my goods in storage for 1.5years; first when I asked for my goods to be transferred AGS decided to ask for an extra 1500GBP to cover the custom fees due to Brexit (probably the only company in the world that did not know Brexit was happening); received no proof that the money was actually spent on customs, most likely went into someone's pocket
Then, after trying to get my goods finally sent over for more than 2 months, they finally arrived : a few boxes were filled with humidity and they completely smashed my computer desk made out of glass; even the external carrier was amazed it could be in such a bad state; because no insurance was taken on this item you refuse to compensate, which apparently gives you the right to give 0 care about what's been handed over to you

AGS International Movers It has been 8 months and my shipment is still not here

We moved from Hong Kong to Seattle, we have our shipment packed on 25Feb and have been told that because of covid the shipment might take longer than usual, which I was expecting somewhere between 4-5 months. However, they kept saying there is no container to West coast, and I had to wait and wait. I have just received a call from the local delivery company saying that our shipment should be delivered by this weekend which is totally 8 months of waiting time.

To be honest, if I knew it was gonna be 8 months of waiting, I would have not brought anything, I would just buy new ones instead. If I can live without them for 8 months, I can possibly live without them at all.

AGS International Movers Non payment under insurance for damages

Notwithstanding that a block insurance policy was taken out and as required under that policy to list only items above a certain value, the company refuses to pay under the policy for following reason: You only listed a few items. My argument was I cannot list every single item as this would be a near impossible task. Despite a fair amount of communication the Singapore office does not respond.

AGS International Movers The manager of ags remover in kenya gil recizac had charged me thousands of dollars

I was asking a quote about the shipment of items for a so called friend who was a soldier in Djibouti and since he was always on mission, asked me to ask the quote for the items he had to be shipped to USA. Gil Recizac just put my name on the items and I really didn't knew what most of the items except personal items. I had to pay most of the shipping and be reinbursed by my friend when he get back home. The item was shipped and through the airline to UK and I had to pay the HM and customs and can't be ship to states without paying it. When it was paid through Gil Recizac, he was holding the consignment and happened there was gold in it. God shipped here in california but not able to see the consignment and there was diamond inside and I paid the stamp tax and the IRS taxes wich big amount and Gil sold it since there was a buyer and money was deposited to Weatherbys Bank in UK and had a private banker name Chris Gibson and he instructed me how to transfer the money back to the states and of course Gil Recizac was the facilitator, Unable to transfer to my account in the state, International monetary Fund made stop order unless I pay $210, 000. such a big amount and Robert my friend unable to come home, he was injured through the ambush. after a while Gil Recizac texed and he was in hospital. and had accident. and he had this person name Nicolas Martin took over. Gil Recizac tried to help by borrowing through my credit card and he had financier to pay my advance credit to pay him when the money was drown. Gil Recizac disappeared and when I found out he really did not left the company and I called the Weatherbys bank and talked with the fraud department Kay Lynch and that I don't have any account in their bank and that Chris Gibson doesn't worked there in the bank. I found Gil Recizac new email address and also his phone number and called him. First he admitted he works at AGS mover in Nairobi Kenya and that nicolas martin is Laos, I emailed him and he gave the new email address gil. [protected]@agsglobalsolution and AGSmover in Kenya are same. then he denied he knew me that I am abused. and I had several email from him and even talked to him personally. I had spent so much money and I also been scammed by him which he does not admit it and Robert and he was together. I wrote the complaint board from France also. Gil Recizac is very clever and he is working with AGS mover in Kenya for over 15 years. Why the company allow such scammer like him to work in the company like this. AGS International Movers Extraordinary delay and unprofessional service.

Dear Sir,

I am Siddharth an aggrieved customer of AGS India. I have deployed the services of AGS to move my personal effects from Gurgaon, India to Lagos, Nigeria. The whole house was packed in a 40 feet high cube container on the 20th of Dec. Due to major delays at AGS the shipment sailed only on the 20th of Jan after I was assured that it would sail on the 13th of Jan. I was then told that the arrival date is 18th of Feb'20. Now I have been informed that it is 5th of March! Post which it will take 4 to 6 weeks for clearance!
I am aghast. This is completely unacceptable. While accosting my business I was told that it will take 6 to 8 weeks total now this comes to 18 to 20 weeks! I would like this to be addressed at the highest level! I am in a new country and will be without my entire household for almost 4 MONTHS!

Please reply ASAP!

AGS International Movers Bad experience when moving household from africa to europe

Reading the customer feedback on this site I wonder how it is possible that AGS apparently can still keep functioning without being bothered or intervened in the slightest. My experience with AGS was as bad as some of those related to here, but seeing the lack of response it seems only a loss of time to go into details. I moved this year from Kenya to Spain and it was the worst and most horrendously and unprofessionally handled move imaginable. Unjustified delays, unreasonable and unjustified demands concerning the provision of documents, jewellery "disappeared", entire cupboards forgotten to pack, incredible careless packing and in general cowboy tactics. Never again.

AGS International Movers Cargo

Never, ever move with AGS. They seemed very professional when they came to my appartment, and eventhough another company quoted me cheaper price, I chose them instead.
First of all, the packing: very unprofessional, had to remind them many times what to pack what not to pack, they kept complaining about how much stuff I have, they said they were not aware of this and this item (which specifically showed the agents), kept videophoning and showing me (the white woman) to their friends, didn't know about the crating of my fragile items we agreed on. But all this is NOTHING compared to the day after. I was told the price has gone up basically with 30 percent, which is A LOT. When I complained, they didn't budge, and eventually I said, okay, I will use another company, I will only pay for the packing. Guess what, they said ok, I have to pay 2300 USD for the packing only (roughly 8 hours, first 4 hours with 3 guys, then more came, with breaks and occasional videophoning and complaining). Obviously I got trapped with them. I still await the horrors of the cargo process and the arrival. Just don't use them, no matter how much they concvince you on the first meeting that they are so professional. They are after your money. (I'm super worried about breakage too, to be honest, but that remains to be seen as at the moment my cargo is trapped in their warehouse).

AGS International Movers The whole service

Our move with AGS has been an absolute nightmare. It took months to get a (very expensive) quote despite being clear about our allowance and time frames from the beginning. The packing was eventually done efficiently but communication afterwards went back to being completely ineffectual.
It took months to receive our shipping (rather than the weeks were told). It arrived in the morning when we had arranged for the afternoon so I could be home. My partner had to move the boxes himself because there was only one delivery guy (from Crown?). A box of our most valuable items was missing even though the delivery guy insisted everything was there.
It took another month and many more frustrating emails (AGS in Morocco trying to shirt the blame to AGS in France etc) to investigate this before AGS Morocco concluded it had gone missing. AGS in London said that everything had arrived in the UK in one unopened carton so I am not sure how this is possible. They offered no explanation and it took another few weeks for the insurance claim to be agreed.
Unbelievably, we are now told that AGS can only make the insurance payment in Moroccan Dirhams and not send it abroad. This is insane for an international moving company. We are in the UK. What is the point of taking out expensive insurance with a removal company if payment cannot be made outside Morocco?
We have spent a huge amount of money and waited a huge amount of time to receive this appalling service. We have already waited too long and are extremely disappointed to have lost so many things. Not good enough! Avoid.

Container arrived at destination ( Kigali ) after 3 months. Our things were parked somewhere in Barcelona for over a month and half before being loaded on a container.
During that period no update or any form of communication was sent to us despite several emails requesting it.
Now ON TOP 15 boxes ( including large items as fridge, bicycle, large paintings, lot of clothing, books and more ) are missing. 15 boxes on 205 is around 8%.
Unacceptable !
We are trying to get in touch with AGS Spain and again facing an extremely unprofessional response...no response.
The packing was a mess, clothing items mixed with bathroom or decorations items.
We are so disappointed and so angry, AGS Spain is the worse moving service on the planet. Shame on you!

AGS International Movers Domestic

Have waited over 1 month for any news of our belongings even starting the first phase of being shipped from Doha to the Uk. The impending shipment is necessary for business and financial reasons and is now costing us over and above as we are having to buy twice to make a living g as we are still waiting. We were told our shipping would be in transit as of 1 week ago but still it has not moved from your storage facility. This is causing us a great amount of financial and mental stress. We need our belongings ASAP please it is our livelihood and financial well-being that is completely effected. We simply cannot go on just waiting for Rohan to make sales. We paid for a service and expected to receive it in a timely manner.

Dear Sebastian,
I send you this email to share my comments with you about the shipping of my container of my goods and furniture and especially about the shipping time.

We have verbally agreed in last February the shipping time of around 55 days.

My goods were transferred to you on 28th June 2019.

However, my goods and furniture were still on Spanish territory on 19th August 2019 and will only reach their destination (Kigali) on 28th September 2019 (ETA).

I deeply regret this lack of professionalism and communication from AGS SPAIN and I would like to remind you your own General Terms and Conditions for international removals (AGS) and more specifically the Articles 14 and 15.

Article 15 refers to "compensation for delays" and refers to Article 14.

Article 14 provides that this "delay" notion "shall be deemed to have occurred if the actual time taken by the removal exceeds the time that is reasonable to allocate to a prompt removals company, taking into account the mode of transport used, the nature of the move and other circumstances".

In this case, we might consider that the delay is established without any justification and considering this the compensation (Article 15) is due and shall be payable.

AGS International Movers Theft and delayed shipment

AGS is the worst shipping company I have every used. Firstly, it took much longer than anticipated for my shipment to arrive to London. Secondly, the delivery men arrived much later than promised without letting me know of the delays. The delivery men were rude and used an aggressive tone with me. As a lady at home with a young baby, I was extremley upset by this. The delivery men went straight upstairs and wondered around my home without waiting to be instructed by me. They also unpacked a large item that was not mine and unprofessionally asked if I'd like to keep it even though it belonged to another customer. The delivery men were in my room alone a lot of the time as I was taking care of a baby and organising some of the unpacking. It occured to me that my jewellery box with very valuable items went missing straight after they left. The jewellery box was there in the morning before they arrived and there were no other strangers in my house that day other than the delivery men. I highly suspect that it was stolen. I have contacted the police to investigate. I also contacted AGS but they were unhelpful. All they did was interview the delivery men and took no real steps to investigate the matter or to compensate me for my loss. I will never use them again as they did not guarantee the safety of my home.

AGS International Movers Relocation from montenegro to qatar

Hi,
I have signed a relocation agreement moving from Montenegro to Qatar on November 2018. Stakeholders involved are AGS Montenegro Mr. Darko and AGS Qatar Mrs. Mygle.

As per the agreement, and actually was the reason why I selected AGS, the lead time estimated was 15 weeks. I understand this is only an estimation, however I'm expecting the actual time is close to the estimated one, as coming from a specialist.

Unfortunately, instead of 2 weeks, the transit took 7 weeks that is absolutely bot acceptable. In fact, I had to buy a full set of house stuff to live in a decent condition for more than a month, that was absolutely not planned.

In addition to that, I gave the request for an extra charge of 250USD because AGS Qatar couldnt reach with a 20ft container my apartment. This is absolutely without any sense, as I signed a door-to-door relocation and it is obvious that a 20ft container can not enter in a residential area.
Even when AGS Montenegro came for the packing, they arrived with a small pick-up to put on the boxes.

Long story short, what I'm asking is a full reimbursement of what I paid because the 7 weeks delay and the total unacceptable behavior from your representative.

AGS International Movers Additional charges

We arranged for a move through our Chilean aduana agent. A surveyor attended and saw the items for collection. I warned that there were heavy items and that a forklift would be required. This was not noted properly and an insufficient van was sent which resulted in me having to attend at 7am for a delivery the day before I left the country. No apology was given and we were in fact blamed for the error on their part and now charged for a second van. The staff were rude and accepted no responsibility for their error despite having been warned of the weight of the items and noting that 9m3 of items including hobby machines, tools and books were included. The staff do not respond to emails properly nor to questions about the additional charges.

AGS International Movers Delivery of my shipment from khartoum to new york

In August 2017, I contracted AGS Sudan to ship my items from Khartoum to New York. My contract was $11,000 however I eventually paid almost &13,000 due to inefficiency of AGS Sudan. Below my specific complaints which I have also written to the Head of AGS in Sudan about twice without a response.

While my contract was to deliver, unpack and removal of packing materials, when the items were delivered to New York, only the furniture was unpacked and I ended up unpacking the majority of my items and also removing the items. For this, I would like to be reimbursed.

Two pieces of furniture, the bed and coffee table were not assembled as the guys that delivered the shipment could not find some of the pieces needed to assemble them. I have therefore had to buy the screws and pay someone to assemble the bed and coffee table. Again for this I would like to be reimbursed.

The final issue is the delays on AGS's part to ship the items from Sudan following Government approvals which OCHA provided on 3 October. The shipment departed from Sudan on 29 October. This led to additional costs to me especially as the shipment arrived just before the holiday season meaning customs staff were not working in addition to all the inconveniences.

AGS International Movers Moving company asking more

Hi, my name is Anna Maria Bombardieri. I was living in France, Nice, and moved to the USA, St Louis, Missouri.
I have asked a quote to AGS, a lady, Isabelle Hua, came home, evaluated my goods and made me an offer that I accepted for 1.700 euros including 10 boxes to be sent by air + one yoga plywood system. no weight limit required. They did not weight my goods when they came home. I moved here in September 17 and got in touch with them as soon as I got my apt, last week September 21st with my new address telling them they can send my things. I haven't heard from them despite emails calls to the office, on the mobile phone of the lady, nothing….
After getting mad finally the lady answer and told there is a problem because when they called the flying company they said things weight more than expected and there is a 900 euros more to pay to send my yoga system which is heavy. I don't know how to solve this. I accepted and signed for 1700 included the yoga system, it was about 1450 for the boxes and then they have added a box specific for that that they estimated at 250 euros and now they are asking for more, delaying my whole shipment….a real mess. How do I solve this. The company should have an insurance to cover for their own mistake not ask the client for more money and in one week I am trying to get in touch with them, for 3 days they have been hidden the problem with me and in one week they have not even find a solution. I write to the international company because getting French are very difficult to get in touch with, they do not answer, they hide things from clients, I am very worried about my goods. Can you please do something to help me or suggest me whom do I talk to? Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter. Best regards.

AGS International Movers Excessive demmurage charges cause by border clearing delays due to ags in actions

We used AGS to transport a 40ft container of HH and car from Lilongwe to Harare and despite it taking 2-3 months before shipping for them to get the documents right and we pre-aid duty, we still had to pay additional duty at the border and then received a 3rd, extremely high request for payment of duty on the car All the while we had hired AGS as professionals in the field and relied on their expertise and guidance to timely faciliate matters. When told of the demmurage charges we asked that the car be offloaded to reduce further costs, soething AGS should have suggested. done for us. It took AGS a further 2-3 weeks to effect the offload. More demmurage charges. The car still sits in no-mans land 1 month on with no action or solution by AGS and we are expected to pay a bill of USD 3900 for demmurage. AGS lilongwe has been sympathetic covering some of the costs, but AGS Harare who caused the delays refuse to even consider this and will not release our goods until we pay.

It seems unreasonable that we as clients must bear the cost of the delays caused by inaction or slow action by AGS... is this fair? We seek advice?

AGS International Movers Poor wrapping - items damaged - beirut - khartoum

Dear AGS,

I just received the items this afternoon in Khartoum (they came from Beirut) and was shocked to realize that several items have been damaged.

Mr. Baha and his team, who unpacked the items, were also shocked and said this happened because the packing in Beirut was done poorly which caused many items to be damaged. AGS Sudan also noticed that the legs of the couch should have been removed during the packing in Beirut and then inserted back upon delivery, but this was not done and as a result they broke during the transit.

I had indeed signed a form in Beirut confirming the packing had been done properly, but I have never shipped anything before so I was not able to access whether they were doing it right. It did seem okay at the time, but after receiving the items and seeing where the damage occurred it is clear that the damage happened due to poor wrapping.

I am copying Mr. Baha from AGS Sudan, who was there during the unpacking, so he can confirm what he and his team told me while unpacking - that the packing in Beirut had not been done properly.

I am attaching photos of the items which were destroyed as agreed with AGS Sudan in order to present a formal complaint.

Please let me know what else is required from my side.
