I scheduled a move for 05/30
I scheduled a move for 05/30. I had to reschedule to 06/01. Title company issue. The bill was $625 left stuff I built a house and was scheduled to close on 05/29. I reserved this company for 05/31. I wasn't able to get the keys Friday so I called and rescheduled for 06/01 due to paperwork issue but I closed. The price for Saturday was estimated $270. They charged me $625 for 4 hours and they didn't get everything. I had to rent a ***. I can't understand why they would charge $125/hr. Price gouging during this Pandemic.

Move 4 Less showed up to load my belongings on the moving day, with a truck which was almost full with other people's items
Move 4 Less showed up to load my belongings on the moving day, with a truck which was almost full with other people's items. The movers went through the apartment and assured me that everything would fit in the truck. The mover (Joseph) said "It's OK. We'll move stuff around". At the end, they left my workout equipment and weights (over 300 pounds) behind saying they will not fit in. They left me stranded with heavy equipment in an empty apartment that I had to vacate by midnight. Even though, I had declared the workout equipment in the estimate and Joseph said they were OK. I had to scramble to find someone to come and dispose the workout equipment. Finally after few hours of stress, *** agreed to trash my workout equipment for $230. So, not only I lost over $500 worth of equipment, I had to pay $230 to dispose it.

Move4Less moved me from Pahrump to Henderson Nv, on 04/10
Move4Less moved me from Pahrump to Henderson Nv, on 04/10. When the movers got to my house they claimed the truck was not big enough. 4/10 ***, None of my furniture was wrapped in blankets. Everything was wrapped in press & seal plastic. The interior of the truck was dirty and it took me forever to even get glass cleaned. They took 10lbs of stuff and shoved it in an 8 lb space. I really wished they did not treat my stuff like they were brining it to the Salvation Army. Jaime the estimator said I needed two trucks and was overruled. I spoke to Jasmin *** (Front Office Manager) and she told me about file a claim with the Insurance company, On Dec. 9th in insurance company offer me $357.00. They claim 595 lbs were damaged. How do they know. Dec. 14, I have asked for arbitration and they are ignoring me. I have e mailed them and have not gotten a response.

On May 15 Movers from Move 4 Less hit my daughters parked **** as they pulled out of the driveway
On May 15 Movers from Move 4 Less hit my daughters parked *** as they pulled out of the driveway. The lift gate was up on the *** and as they pulled out of the driveway they hit the edge of the lift on the driver's side. I heard this but wasn't sure what it was. When I prepared to follow them I could not shut the lift gate and didn't know why. I called to tell the driver it would not close so I would be a little late meeting them at the storage. I had to tie it down and when we reached the new house my son showed me why I couldn't close the lift gate. the edge was completely crushed under preventing the gate from closing. Something high and heavy had to hit it to cause the damage and as I said, I heard the collision and by the time I made it out to see what it was the moving truck was at the end of the block. I contacted the company immediately and sent pictures of the damage. I have heard nothing from them in regards to repairing the damaged to my daughter's ***. I have pictures of the damage to my daughters vehicle and the driver knows he hit the ***.

I hired this company to move from LV to NJ
I hired this company to move from LV to NJ. Upon delivery, the balance that was stated on the paperwork was not honored and an overcharge as well. Please see the attached attempted letters to Move4Less whom did not honor their own "Disclosure" policy and never responded to my letter of 11/30. In my letter, the specifics of Move4Less and their non-communication as to my move. I was never informed of any changes made to my move which was small (357 cu. ft.). They decided to move my items into a smaller truck and just charged me the $290 wherein they can do this action, BUT, by informing the client first and if there are any additional charges. In addition, the movers were told to stop moving my items by "Mike" until I paid the $1,232 which forced me to pay them in order for me to receive my items. And, when he did finally tell me the unfair and unnecessary amount, I tried to explain to him that this isn't fair since they (a moving company) should have known the size of the truck to make this small move. I explained that this was not my doing and it was their decision to change my items without notifying the customer. He stated that the move cannot continue until this invoice is paid. This order was placed in the beginning of March and was postponed until Sept., 2020, therefore, I expected a "moving company" to know what, when and why this move is to occur and according to size we agreed on with Megan *** whom I originally placed this order. Moreover, she and I emailed relative to the balance of this move numerous times

Drivers took longest routes to incur more time to charge you more than normal
Drivers took longest routes to incur more time to charge you more than normal. Personal belongings furniture and appliances were very damaged. I am very disappointed with this business services provided. I decided to use this company for all moving needs because they showed up in the ComplaintsBoard.com ComplaintsBoard.com. However, these employees took the longest route to reach my destination home. I followed them and they thought I didn't know how to reach my own home. Even the *** GPS showed the faster route being suggested yet the driver decided to use the longer route. All this incurred more time to complete the job. Hence, charging you more money. The job was not even a heavy moving because they only moved less than half of all my furniture and personal belongings. Furthermore, these people damaged several items of my furniture. I will be filing a lawsuit if these matters are not addressed or fixed or resolved in a manner that would be considered fair. My refrigerator ended being moved and was delivered with multiple dings and scratches on the stainless steel appliance. They also removed the refrigerator door handles and were not reinstalled. I had to go find some specific tools to reinstall them myself. My wood desk and wood office chair were also damaged with heavy scratches and damage that cannot be repaired. All these damages are more than would be considered normal wear and tear when moving furniture. In all said, I was charged about $250 beyond what I was quoted and expecting to be charged. I was also left with damaged appliance and damaged office furniture. I have pictures of all items mentioned to confirm that they were not damaged prior to being move. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ANY CONSUMER TO NOT USE THIS SERVICE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RECEIVE YOUR FURNITURE DAMAGED AND BEING CHARGED AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT WHEN DRIVERS USE THE LONGEST ROUTES TO TAKE LONGER TIME TO CHARGE YOU MORE.

I was charged for 11 hours of work, when I was originally quoted for 4 hours
I was charged for 11 hours of work, when I was originally quoted for 4 hours. On 11/11 I had booked my move with Move4Less for a minimum of 4 hours with 2 guys. It entailed moving an 1100 square foot home that was 2 bedrooms. In my quote it had 5 bedrooms, with 14 items and 30+ boxes. The gentleman arrived on the 21st at about 1:40 and at that time they assessed the moved. At no time did they give me any indication that the moved would take in excess of 8 hours. As we got into the 4 hour mark the movers had yet to move to the upstairs items. At that time their manager Walter gave them a call and asked if I would like a 3rd person for an additional $40 per hour. I agreed to it, however, it turned out there was no one available. At no time during this move did I get a call from their manager Walter, until I requested one! Around 6:30 pm the movers were finally done packing my house. We meet at my new apartment around 7:00pm. Before they can offload my items we are require to square up payment. The driver comes to me indicating that the cost would be $1200! I did not agree to that amount. The movers had been at my house by that time 6.5 hours. That would equate to $812.50, however, they have to factor in the trip back to the warehouse. We agreed on 8 hours or $1000. I finally spoke to the manager and he agreed to that. He had mentioned that the movers had to help me to take down my mounted TV. That literally took 10 minutes! I should mention that I also had items on the truck that needed to be taken to storage, which was a whole other trip. When I was on the phone with Walter he mentioned that due to the inconvenience he would not charge me to store my items in the truck at the warehouse and bring them out to me in the AM to my storage unit. I was grateful for that, because, I just paid $500 more than my original quote. The following day which was Sunday 11/22, I meet the movers at my storage unit. He stated before we get started I need to collect payment. Collect payment? I told them that there was to be no charge due to the inconvenience of last night. He said that Walter would call me. He never did, I had to call him. He proceeded to let me know that he wasn't going to charge me the transportation cost from the warehouse to the storage unit. I let him know that is not what we agreed to. He started mumbling under his breath and got rude with me! At this point I was irate! I'm being charged double my original quote! I paid the fee because I wanted to get my items off the truck. I felt taken advantage of and pressured to pay in order to get my items off the truck! When I was speaking to the movers who were off loading my items from the truck to my storage unit they asked if the other guys packed my house too. I said "no" it was a straight move. They even agreed that the time was excessive in relation to the size of the move. As of this day, I have yet to receive the final contract from the move from my previous residence to my current residence. Nor, have I received a call back from their customer serviced department!

Quote made by the Manager and an asst
Quote made by the Manager and an asst. manager were off over 200 cu.ft. in the quote costing the customer over $1000. People do not move everyday and moving is stressful, especially when moving across the country. When hiring movers, you expect the company's representatives to be experts in their field and have the skillset to create accurate quotes for the belongings you wish to move. I had just began packing and the two representatives evaluated the apartment with all of the belongings. I actually gave away items after the quote was made. Therefore, there were less items to load than what the representatives actually saw. They both walked around and took their notes and I was told that I would have the competed quote by the end of the day. I received the quote at just under $6000. I agreed with the quote and hired this company. On my moving day, the crew showed up close to 9:00 AM and began their work. There wasn't much communication with the foreman or the two movers that were with him. One of the movers was always checking his cell phone and was more interested in that then the job at hand. It was very frustrating to see that behavior when I'm working hard to get this move accomplished. They were there all day. It took forever; the crew left without telling me. They just disappeared and I had to assume that they went to take their lunch. It was almost an hour later when they returned. At the end of the day, the foreman presents his paperwork and explains to me that they loaded an additional 200 cubic feet above what was quoted. Because of that, I was charged an additional $1000.00 and $700 for shuttle service for delivery. Now, what am I supposed to do? Everything I own is already loaded onto the truck. Am I supposed to tell them, "Sorry, I don't agree with that. Unload the truck and bring everything back in." At this point, I had no options. I called the Dispatch Office thinking I was speaking with the manager. I was told that I would receive a phone call from the Customer Service Manager on Monday. I never received a call. When I signed the contract, I purposefully wrote on the contract, "customer service manager to call" because it was inferred that the final cost would be adjusted due to the poor communication about the process. Again, the manager never called as promised. Now, it's delivery day. I made another follow-up call to receive any updates regarding delivery time. I spoke with Harold and he was combative. He was more interested in telling me that it is what it is and I'm not going to help you. He also called me dense. He refused to listen but was more than willing to accuse. I shut the conversation down and demanded that his manager call me. This is when I received a call from Donovan. I remember speaking with Donovan that Friday and thought that he was the one that told me the customer service manager would call on Monday. Donovan states that we had never spoken to one another before. Anyway, I explained where I was coming from to Donovan. The bottom line is that I end up losing. They have my belongings and will hold them until I pay them what they demand me to pay. This complaint falls onto Eryick who created the estimate. He and a second person saw the apartment and what was being moved. These supposed "experts" were extremely off, in my opinion, because $1000 is a lot of money when you've been unemployed for 8 months with no income and by the generosity of others provided the money for me to borrow in order to move for a job opportunity. This moving company knows they have you and can do whatever they want that includes they do nothing and patronize me over the phone until they get rid of me as a customer.
