On 6/24/24 our AC was not working we called One Source to come out since we purchased it from them. A man came out that afternoon we needed the coils and blower fan replaced. Set up a time for the next day to be fixed. The tech came and fixed it when he left it was working well. The unit is in the basement which we don’t go down there often. On the night of 7/11/24 we found the PVC pipe had been dripping water and carpet was soaked and mold was starting to grow on the Sheetrock. We called on 7/12/24 due to the time at night we found it. They scheduled to come out on 7/13/24. I got a message the morning of 7/13/24 and they would not be out due to employees calling off work. Rescheduled for 7/15/24. I then got a call on 7/15/24 and found I was not rescheduled! They sent the tech out on 7/16/24. He said there was a pinhole drip and it would not have been found for 2 1/2 - 3 hours after the repair because the condensation has to build up. He fixed the repair and took pictures to send we believe to the GM. I reached out to her and she said they would take care of all the damage. She sent out a company that removed part of the Sheetrock, treated the carpet with something to prevent mold and set up 9 blowers and 2 dehumidifiers. They ran for 8 days 24 hours a day. Since then I had many text messages and maybe 3 phone conversations with One Source. The last call was on 8/21-24. I was told I had to file a claim against my home owners insurance. I said absolutely not! The damage was created by the leak and they said they would take care of it. Then I could not reach anyone! On 8/26/24 I called the PPEBD and found the insurance company that was on file for One Source. I contacted them and filed a claim. I didn’t hear from the claims person until 9/10/24! They had to get ahold of the insured and over the next 2 weeks we communicated and even the insurance could not get a response. I finally tried to leave a message for the corporate office. No response there either. I found the owner on LinkedIn and sent a private message still no response. I have filed a complaint with the BBB also with the Colorado State Attorney’s office. I finally got a call on 9/20/24 from One Source saying she didn’t realize the texting had stopped?!?! She said she would let a different person know to tell the insurance to contact us ASAP to get the work done. I neglected to ask her for the copies of invoices and the correct filter number due to a feature we added on requires a special filter. I had asked for these things previously and did not get a response. I called her back and left a message I followed up with a text and again nothing! I will never recommend this company for any service to anyone.
Claimed loss: I don’t know a dollar amount.
Desired outcome: To put our house back in the same condition it was before the water damage caused by the leak

Continue pressuring both One Source and their insurance provider by documenting everything. Follow up with formal letters to both, citing breach of agreement and failure to resolve damages. Escalate through legal channels, including small claims court, if needed. Your actions with the BBB and Attorney General are good steps; consider contacting a local consumer protection lawyer for further leverage. Keep insisting on full responsibility for the damages without involving your homeowner's insurance.
