I have been coming to this store for 20 years food and prescriptions . 11/27 I bought a gift card for 200.00 for my granddaughter, she was going to the LSU game the next day. She was unable to use the card. When I bought it the lady handed me the card and a receipt . I took it make and got total indignation from the two lady's at customer service. I finally...

Me and my boyfriend go to this Albertsons a lot. We drive a motorcycle with handicap plates on it because I and my boyfriend have disabilities. Therefore, we utilize the electric carts that they have. This complaint takes place on the 11th of December. When we were checking out at the cashier register, I overheard one of the female cart collectors and I do...

I shop at this location frequently and noticed how the manager "Susan" treats her employees. She talks down to them and doesn't seem to treat the younger employees fairly. On 2 different shopping trips I have seen at least 2 employees (teenagers) crying after talking with her. She also told one to not show up to work with make up on. Just wondering if that...

I am a wheelchair and I am tired of going to the store to find NO handicap lanes open yet see employees standing around picking their noses! I will not use the self checkout nor should I have to. ONE lane should be open at ALL TIMES for people in wheelchairs, walkers, etc. They noticed me looking for a place to checkout but made no effort to help me until I threatened to leave and not come back.
Read full review of Albertsonsharassment and bullying on the job
Good morning,
I am writing to your dept. because I have nowhere else to turn. I am a former employee that was put in a very harsh position by my superiors to suffer more bullying or quit the only job in my household and ultimately harm my family financially.
The store that I worked at is being ran by people who are totally clicked in with each other and covering for each other even all the way up to the HR Dept.there. I was totally and openly bullied by one of my superiors one day and even though this man made a public display of it right in the front end and right in front of customers and all... the company (or at least those in authority above myself) sided with this man and totally left me to fend for myself.
I ended up quitting my job because I just couldn't take the pressure anymore and no one cared and the harassment would not stop. I even made it very clear within that same day that I did not want to quit I just wanted this issue to stop.
But they did not care and moved very quickly to give me my last check and sent me on my way. I even caught some of the staff almost laughing but smiling from ear to ear, even the guy who harassed me had smiled and they were happy that I was gone.
I even spoke to the woman in their human resources dept and she was cold, a liar and totally uncaring and showed absolutely no concerned for me as a person. I am still getting over the sort of shock of it all at how corrupt this place really is.
Will you please find someone at the highest level of power within the company to forward this complaint to. And to please truly investigate this situation. This was grossly unfair to me and will now have an impact on myself and my family.
Thank you for taking the time to read this complaint and I hope you find someone who will be concerned and will at least look into this, there are so many factors to this situation and it really needs to be looked into.
Thank you.
former vobs and pavilion stores ruined by albertson's purchase
To whom it may concern at Albertson's--
If I were the exec charged with integrating the highly popular Vons supermarket chain into the less well regarded Albertson 's chain, I would have taken some care not to lose the business of long-time, loyal Vons customers. Most of us were avoiding Albertsons for a reason, so turning Vons stores into crappy little Albertsons stores with a Vons label was not a smart plan.
Ever since the conversion of the Vons/Pavilions store in Simi Valley, California, to the Albertson's stocking model, I've been losing my favorite foods one by one. Anyone in the food business knows that consumers do not change their food preferences -- but you Albertson's people seem to think that THIS time we'll eat whatever crap you stock. You are wrong. No way in hell.
Examples:
* No Oroweat Masters Best whole grain wheat bread on the shelf for months at a time. And failure to fulfill my 10-loaf special order. I make sandwiches with nothing else. Your inferior substitutes are not acceptable.
* The elimination of canned tuna in water. Every brand of tuna you stock now is packed in "vegetable broth" instead of water. The vegetable in question is mostly sweet corn, designed to make the tuna sweet! Not even my cat will eat that stuff, it's so foul. When Vons was really Vons, they sold that crap too, but they ALSO offered a full range of high-end tuna products that were sustainably caught and healthily packed in plain WATER. I get my tuna (unsalted, in real water) from Amazon now.
* You no longer sell sny variety of apple butter or apricot pineapple preserves. You seem to think that the cheaper apricot jam will do as a substitute for the former second most popular jam flavor in America, but it won't. I get my jam from Amazon now, or Ralphs.
*The substitution of Krogers brand -- and only Krogers brand -- dried pinto beans for the many varieties in large and small sizes previously stocked by Vons. The Kroger abominations were so old they literally tasted like ashes when I used them in a pot of chili. This is California. You can't pass off 10-year-old frijoles pintos as edible here.
* You no longer stock ham hocks for cooking. It is impossible to prepare my favorite southern dishes without ham hocks.
* The produce isn't completely terrible yet, but you no longer sell crisp, tart, tasty Granny Smith apples. Instead you bring in the large Granny Smiths that have been overwatered to make them LOOk big. But overwatering fruit dilutes the taste. I bought those apples once. But having tasted them, I'll never buy them again.
* You no longer stock Horizon organic butter, only O Organics. That's a switch I can actually tolerate, since the flavor is ok. But Horizon tastes fresher to me and I would prefer my favorite brand back.
I could go on, but you get the picture.
I've lived back East and I've shopped at Krogers. That was a traumatic experience; the food was crappy and the selection poor. There was also a scandal at the time about Krogers selling horsemeat as hamburger. It now seems to me you're trying to make a Krogers-based east coast grocery store model work in California, and you seem to be bringing in the east coast brands. Fishers nuts, not Blue Diamond? Really? The Fishers pecans I bought last week were so old and stale they barely tasted like pecans.
You've lost this 30-year Vons customer with your crappy east coast stocking practices. If you keep this up, you're bankrupt in 5 years.
-- Disappointed in Simi Valley
Title typo not fixable on this site -- should be Vons.

Latonya, is always in customer service, working register, I shop daily at Albertsons at 105 East Southfield, Shreveport, La. Read full review of Albertsonsdigital coupons which unfairly deny customers items at sale prices without said digital coupon
My name is Elmira B. Wicker
I do most of my grocery shopping at Albertson's grocer stores. Today I was unable to purchase the grocery items on sale due to the lack of a digital coupon which I did not have access to. This is grossly unfair and appears to be a sneaky way of discriminating against people in my category. I am 87 years of age and hearing impaired so I do not really use a cell phone. In order to get the digital coupon sale price I purchased a phone for that purpose, but when I went to the store today I was unable to purchase the items. Was told by the cashier and customer service representative that I had to go a commputer and go on line and register with Google and then wait until it registered-day or so- meaning there was no way that I could secure the items at the advertised price. This is very unfair and unjust.
The store that I shopped at on today is located in Baton Rouge, LA

Theres a cashier by the name of Donna I believe last name is Johnson that usually works in self check out. She once accused me of not scanning an item. Sandra is the absolute rudest checker I have ever seen. I have been shopping at this store for years and I've just finally had it. Absolutely no custom service. Eats at her check stand and complains about how tired she is. I will never go through her line again. I would rather just walk out if she is my only choice. Something needs to be done about her horrible attitude.

I ordered a birthday cake. I chose a cake like a sample they had made with Oreos on top. The cake was to say 'Happy Birthday, along with 7 names. On 10/10/2019 I was sitting down to dinner with my family when my son who is only 7 years old told me it felt like something was poking him in the mouth. I had him spit out his food and this is what was in his mouth. This came from the can of green beans that I purchased at Albertsons. I understand that things happen but this is so completely unexceptionable. This could have literally killed my child. And if it has happened to me who else has it happened to. Shame on the quality control for allowing something so dangerous to be in their foods. I think this is something that needs to be shared with the news.
bar manager, asst manager, other
The bar Manager (Chris) and Assistant bar Manager (Angie) at the Albertsons at Fairview and Eagle in Meridian Idaho are two of the most miserable people I have ever had the occasion to come into contact with in a bar or restaurant situation. Their demeanor is sour, their customer service skills are basically non existent and it seems their relationship with their employees follows suit. The tension in the room when they are present is palpable and even though the staff seem to be working as hard as they can given the lack of support they are receiving i. e managers on their cell phones (Social media?), talking about personal relationship woes with customers, yelling at bartenders in front of customers etc you can tell that the staff are not happy or supported in any visible or vocal way. There seems to be some obvious favoritism happening at this establishment which is patently obvious by spending any amount of time here, if you are young, dark haired and slight in stature your are treated a lot differently than those who are older, stockier yet those employees seem to be the ones who are doing the lions share of the work. A discrimination case would be an easy win here in my opinion. This is the second time I have entered feedback for this establishment and we went back in hopes that things had changed since our prior visit, clearly it hasn't. We won't be back and will make sure our friends and acquaintances know why. Do yourselves a favor, change the management and attitude.
Nothing more to add
pharmacy
I have made multiple complaints to the pharmacy at Albertsons in regards to one of their techs, Melissa Gutierrez I'm actually shocked they have not taken it seriously- she is a family member of mine and she is heavily addicted to methamphetamines, marijuana and herion, I can't believe she has not been drug tested and they have not noticed the dramatic weight loss, her odd behavior etc so I'm contacting corporate this way to have proof, is something is not done within the next 72 hours I will be filing a complaint to the board of pharmacy as this is a serious issue and she should not be working in this position nor being around any type of narcotics in this position. I'm asking you to take this serious rest assured the moment she is asked to take a drug test she will walk out, however like I said if this is not addressed I will be notifying the board of pharmacy as she is putting lives at risk.
all sale items
My wife shops at Albertsons in Glendora CA. She uses the app, flyers and her cell phone,
buying items that are on sale. Every time she shops there she finds errors where she was
charged regular price instead of the sales price. They have been very good to refund every
over charge she identifies on her receipt, but on a $400.00 bill how many items did she not
remember that should have been charge the sale price. This has been going on for more
than 2 years. Each time she is told their system has a glitch in it but nothing is ever done to
correct the glitch. I told her she should stop shopping at Albertsons, but she really likes the
store. It is my opinion that there is no glitch that Albertsons is scamming the public because
most people do not spend the extra 45 min that it take to identify the mistakes and then wait
in line for the manager to correct their bill. This is your chance to correct the problem befor
I forbid here to shop at your store. Please tell me what you are going to do to correct this
problem.

signature farms mini peppers
I purchased mini peppers a few days agodeom the Albertsons in ladera ranch California 92694 . I went and bit into a pepper and found mold and a live worm inside. It was absolutely disgusting and I have pictures and video of the pepper and worm if needed. I then looked at the bag and there is not expiration date of when these peppers expired. Luckily I didn't bite into the worm but I threw out the rest of the bag of peppers and do not believe I will be buying your signature products again. This has possibly turned me off of shopping at Albertsons or pavilions all together.
employees
With the exception of the produce department this albertsons has the most unprofessional
employees I have encountered at a grocery store . The large blonde haired woman who works
in the morning just stood there and gave me a dirty look, when my wife went last week she did the
same to her . These people do not say a word to you, they walk in front of you while you are looking for
items and generally look upset that you came to their store .
denise the store manager
Denise is the most unprofessional manager I've ever dealt with. She literally was yelling at my father who is in his seventies, telling him could not go to a certain line. The customers were looking at her and him. Why would a large corporation keep someone like her in the position she holds. And believe me, she's always rude. But today was it, I have to send in a complaint. I hope someone deals with her, hopefully.
