Do NOT Use this Company!
Dealt with Steve to line up the move as he was a nice guy and the company had decent references. Upon lining up the move they assured me 3 days before the move that we were all set to go with no issues. Next day rolls around and I get a voicemail from John saying they are overbooked and can no longer do the move. This was Saturday during the long weekend with TWO days notice!
They have ghosted me and refuse to answer my calls or texts. Least wise to say they have straight up just stolen my $300 deposit.
I sincerely recommend people avoid them. Don't let them steal your money too.

I can't say enough good things about this company! They made a very stressful time in my families life a little easier. Having to pack up our childhood home after the death of our father, and move the contents across the country was made infentletly easier by Simon and his crews. They were polite, professional and friendly. A mere thank you does not suffice. If we are ever moving a long distance again we will definitely be calling on them. We moved our both business and home from BC to NS, during covid. It was a HUGE move, with many layers, and we had lots of concerns. ***, the booking agent was fantastic. He was very clear and helpful in answering questions with or various concerns. We were back and forth via email and phone many times and he was always happy to help. *** was our driver and he was absolutely great. He didn't mind us hanging around so our young one could watch, he answered questions and was happy to chat while he worked hard. Seeing the truck and how things were packed and secured gave us so much confidence in the safety and security of our belongings. Having texting and phone access to *** while he was on route was great. He texted through different provinces and let us know where he was. As were we a few days behind, he also gave us tips on getting through areas (covid travelling). I can see that relationship between the 3 companies (booking agent, driver and owner) can be confusing, but with enough questions and chatting we were able to figure it out and that made all the difference in understanding who does what and how things were working. Although we don't plan and a major move in the near future, we will absolutely be using Allways Moving, and requesting ***. It was a great experience. Thank you!
i booked 2 months prior to my move from one coast to the other with '*** Moving and Storage' 5 days prior to agreed upon date range, they emailed for me to call, i did, and *** (the driver) asked if they could come and move me the next day about 10am i said sure. spent the night readying. called to see where they where they were the next day about 1pm, they said 10minutes away. they got there, said they thought i was an apartment, even though they had the address and i told them i had a 3 bedroom home, even though it's 2 bedroom as i have a lot of stuff. they didn't have enough room to take me, ***, walked through my house - without a mask to assess. i asked why he wasn't wearing a mask, and he said "he is going to die sometime". they dumped a lot of garbage in my bins then left. i phoned my contact repeatedly since the email from the driver to no avail. driver said he called him and the contact will call me. nothing. so i finally got a hold of ***' contact and he said they overloaded the truck from the last 2 pick ups and there was no trucks for me, today or the original scheduled days but 8 days into the next month - so 15 days later. when i asked what i would do with my stuff as i had to move, i was told i was responsible for that and the costs i would incur. they were trying to help me, not just return my deposit. so hire someone to move and store my stuff or see if i can rent back the home from the new owners at my cost. in other words *** -

We went with them because Steve seemed like a good guy and they appeared like a good company, despite being more expensive we went for the reliable choice. We were WRONG. 8 days before the move they told us they would not be able to move although we had AGREED on 2 months earlier. BEWARE! I never write negative reviews but *** company should be AVOIDED! *** (dispatcher) was unapologetic and basically left us absolutely hanging. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Both John (on the NS part) and Simon (who has amazing driving skills of the 18-wheeler), along with their respective teams were professional per se. I would highly recommend them any day!
Our sales representative was ***. We moved from Ontario to port hawkesbury Nova Scotia. We had a great experience with them the cheapest company we could find and with full service they wrapped all the furniture took apart tables bikes and reassemble them friendly truck driver and helpers. Same driver packed us up did the drop off . witch we thought was great and made us feel safer. We lost one box but we really did not care. The deal that they offered for the move more then made up for it
We were very happy with the service from Allways Moving. They were prompt, easy to deal with, and very reasonably priced for our long distance move. They took good care of our belongings and we also found them very nice. We would definitely use them again if we had to move again.
From *** spot-on over-the-phone estimate to the amazingly efficient and careful furniture wrapping, loading and unloading by *** and his crew our Toronto to Halifax move by All Ways was awesome. Everything on time and no surprises at any point and not so much as a scratch or dent. Couldn't have been happier and will highly recommend.

The initial quote was very close to the actual weight so no surprises when it came to costs. If you're hesitant about picking a moving company I would say go with these guy, you won't be disappointed.

The company communicated frequently with us before, during and after the move, so there was no anxiety regarding our items, and the furniture arrived well within the specified time frame (we had asked for the move to be completed within a month, but ended up taking just over two weeks to get across the country). All of our items were placed with care and the movers were again very friendly!
Excellent moving company! I moved from B.C. to New Brunswick and they were absolutely amazing. They were friendly and very efficient and I would recommend this company to anyone.
I used Allways Moving for a coast to coast move in August/September and everything was perfect! John (owner) patiently answered all my questions and gave me advice on packing materials as I started preparing several months in advance. From the careful wrapping and handling of my things by John and Simon on pick up day, to Simon keeping me up to date on where the truck was and when he expected to arrive, to the actual delivery. It was reassuring when Simon told me that he is with the truck the entire way across Canada and that my furniture and belongings would not leave the truck (some of the other moving companies put the shipments in warehouses in Toronto or another larger city, mixing it with other peoples shipments going to the same vicinity until there is critical mass to fill a truck and deliver it all at once.) Everything arrived in top shape, except contents of 1 box (I packed it, it was too heavy) that had split open and a few lampshades were a bit crinkled. Pictures and mirrors all arrived intact, without a scratch. They were honest about the price and did not alter from the quoted price, which was quite reasonable compared to some of the other quotes I had received. I was notified a short while after the pick up how much my shipment weighed and what the exact cost was going to be (and it was not far off the estimate). When finalizing the bill, Simon showed me the actual weigh slips from the scale before and after my items were loaded. Overall it was a very successful move and I strongly recommend using Allways Moving. John and Smon were great to work with. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do I would call Allways in a heartbeat!

We had an excellent experience with Les and our driver, Trevor. When seeking quotes, Les was the only one to call us and pursue our business. One company did email once, but no follow up. We checked out Allways Moving reviews and they had the best. Good communication throughout. The driver was in touch with us directly to arrange details. They were easy to reach and always returned text messages and emails. They were easy to pay, EFT, cash, credit. Through good communication, due to someone else's poor communication, we were able to receive our things early, which was a total bonus for us. Trevor and his helper, Eli, took very good care of our things. He backed that HUGE rig up from our narrow NS street, down our long narrow driveway like it was my two-door Jeep! The random pieces that they were able to break down for us, were complete and well protected. Nothing was damaged or lost. Always a bonus when moving across the country! Good experience with good people.

I used Allways Moving for a move from Calgary Ab to Amherst NS in March. Quote was done by Steven, I felt he was most inclusive and asked all the right questions when preparing my estimate. Once I booked the move Simon contacted me to let me know when they would be preparing my furniture and doing the actual move. They arrived on time and answered all question and concerns I had and gave me an approximate arrival date for Amherst. Simon called my about 3 days prior to the arrival of my belongings to Amherst to confirm the date. On the promised date they arrived on time and were unloaded and had any furniture reassembled that they had taken apart for shipping in less than 4 hours from the time they arrived. I was nervous going in with all the bad reviews on moving companies. I am happy to say I felt Allways went above and beyond to make sure I had a good customer experience. Their prices are a bit higher but once quoted the price was as promised with no surprises. I partly used them as a friend has told me they used Allways and were very happy. I am glad they did. I would hope I never have another move of this magnitude but would definitely use them again if a move was required. Thanks you Allways for a job well done!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. I hired them who the hired another company to move me. The company they hired tried to charge my wife extra to move kids toys that when I called the moving company was wrong. So I called Allways as they are the company I hired. Spoke to the owner who informed me that I should have bought something to pack it in. I said really a 4 ft plastic kitchen I should pack he said yes you could have bought a wardrobe. I should have figured out how the company was after that. Called back today as the quote I got from Steve he was going to quote me 3000lbs get my final bill today at over 5000lbs. So I called again to speak to both steve and the owner and the rudeness I got from both of them was insane. I hired a company that charged 20cents more a pound because of how good I thought they were. I will never recommend them to anyone. I am very upset that I tell Steve everything that was wrong and what I get is oh write an email and send it to me problem with that is that it's hard right now as we are driving to nova scotia. I am very disappointed how I was treated by both owner and Steve. Oh and when I was speaking to the owner today explaining everything that I'm upset about from this move that I hired allways moving all he could say is your not getting charged so what's the problem. Well there is more problems then that but he doesnt seem to care. Guess now that they have mine and my 3years old son and wifes stuff they dont need to be nice. Be very very careful and make sure you shop around.

I booked my move from coast to coast with a moving company 5 days before the date range, they emailed for me to call, I did, and the driver asked to move me the next day at 10am, I agreed. After preparing overnight, I called at 1pm the next day; they were '10 minutes away'. Upon arrival, they were surprised I had a house, not an apartment, despite having the address and my clarification of a 3-bedroom home, which is actually 2-bedroom due to my belongings. They couldn't fit my items, the driver assessed my house unmasked. When questioned, he replied indifferently about his mortality. They left trash in my bins and departed. Repeated calls to my contact were fruitless. The driver claimed he informed my contact, who would call me back, but I heard nothing. Eventually, I reached the company's contact who informed me they overfilled the truck on previous jobs, leaving no room for my move, not today or on the scheduled days, but 15 days later. They told me I was responsible for any interim storage and moving costs, offering no solution but to return my deposit. I was left to either find another mover and storage or negotiate with the new homeowners for an extended stay, at my expense.

We hired this company to move from BC with a stop in AB for a couple of items then onto Ontario
We hired this company to move from BC with a stop in AB for a couple of items then onto Ontario. Everything at the start was good until closer to the move when dates needed to be switched to accommodate the driver, who would be there a day early (which wasn't a big deal). We were happy to accommodate the driver Simon (who by the way is fantastic). The truck came 3/4 of the way full and therefore we were told they were no longer able to pick up the remainder of the items in Alberta. This was an issue as it was a court order to pick these items up on a specific date and would cost us a lot more money for our lawyer to switch up the date of pick up, or we may lose these expensive items altogether. Needless to say the items are still in AB. When our truck got to Ontario we were told they couldn't get the vehicle in the driveway and that it is our responsibility to find a way for them to unload the items to our house. Who does that? Isn't the point of a mover, to move items from point A to point B without any need to intervene? Not the case with this company. What exactly did we pay all that money for? When we spoke to John, who is the owner of the trucks we were told there is NOTHING they could do about leaving the items in AB, even though we paid for them to be picked up. John then told us for them to get another truck out there it would cost us over $1000, even though our original invoice had the items paid for to be picked up. This made zero sense, yet John was too busy trying to tell us how it wasn't their fault instead of working together with his customers. John then said they could pick the items up on another truck, in a couple of weeks. The same day, after John told us this, he told us that the driver no longer wanted to pick the items up and once again it was too bad for us. I would NOT recommend this company for your move unless you want to be jerked around and listening to excuses as to why things couldn't get done. All they were interested in was our money and not a happy customer.

Horrible company
Horrible company. AVOID at any cost. We moved from BC to Ontario. We had very little inventory (2 bed apartment). Communication in the beginning was instant (quick! Secure the contract!), but as soon as we signed, reaching the company for details (when, where, how) was nearly impossible. Every call went to voicemail, and when trying to reach during critical stressful points during the move (drop off), was told that John was "busy around the house." Things that went wrong: 1. The move was contracted to another company without our consent and without being informed (***). 2. The driver showed up to the move over 2 hours late, and completely on his own (we paid for the service of a moving company, we had to do the loading ourselves). As a result: loading took more than 10 hrs, after we secured our own able bodied men (5) from our surrounding community. 3. We were quoted at $4,000, billed at over $7,000. 4. Multiple high-value items were broken. Additional important items weren't even delivered. 5. Before being invoiced, we received a threatening email saying our items were going to be withheld because "payment hadn't been received." This was stressful and caused us to quickly pay them without much investigation into why the bill was so high, or the condition of our things. 6. We were given only a moments notice between "the driver is dropping your things off tomorrow" and "YOU HAVEN'T PAID US, WE ARE BRING YOUR STUFF TO THE WAREHOUSE, YOU'LL HAVE TO PICK IT UP ON YOUR OWN AND PAY OUR PREMIUM RATE TO STORE IT THERE!" Our reply: "We don't know how much to pay you, we haven't received an invoice." 7. Afterward, we emailed John to inquire about our concerns, he completely dismissed us and did not take any responsibility. Our many items are still lost and broken. John blamed these issues on us, saying we should have raised concerns at the time of delivery. This company is g*** Management needs to take responsibility for lost items. The single star goes to the driver who worked like a mule to complete the move.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY ! I recently moved from Edson Alberta to Thorburn Nova Scotia. This has been the worst moving experience I have ever had. Every box showed up except 1. The only box not to arrive was the one with all my electronics in it which contained my Xbox, 4 controllers, blue ray player and telus pic tv. Delivery of my belongings was scheduled for the first week of January , and my belongings didn't arrive until Jan. 28 2020. I went through all the boxes and the only one missing contained all my electronics. My 48 inch sony tv was also dropped by these movers as it was in mint condition when it went into their packaging yet arrived smashed/broken. I also had several shelf units and a large wooden moose that were crushed as well. When I contacted John after I had gone through all my stuff with these issues I was met with hostility and rudeness. I was told I had 60 days from the date of delivery to file any complaint. It took me 22 days ( January 28-Februauy 18) to get through everything and at that point I emailed John about the damage. His response to this was he would credit my fathers credit card for $2.40 for the wooden moose only. The damage done was over $2200. So for anyone wanting to move across the country I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING ANY OTHER COMPANY THAN THIS ONE. Please beware of this company and its employees. There were several other issues including truck broken down, delays for parts and no regular communication as to when arrival would be. This was very unprofessionally done. I am a single mom and the damage done to my belongings will take me over a year to be able to afford to replace. I realize I made the mistake of not taking the extra insurance. I should be covered by their basic insurance included in the move but so far have met nothing but resistance by John the owner.The basic insurance goes by weight and that wasn't even offered nor was trying to locate my missing box of electronics. As a customer I expected my belongings to be treated with care and that wasn't the case. This is still an ongoing issue. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY !

I asked for extra insurance for my move, but it wasn't on my bill. They told me to wrap my TV in blankets instead of buying boxes, and it ended up broken. All Ways moving said they wouldn't cover it because of how I packed it. Also, my vacuum hose is missing.

I gave All-Ways Moving and Storage Ltd. a $600 deposit for a move across provinces. The movers came and started mistreating our furniture and not listening to any instructions. They were moving our pets around and not paying attention to which furniture was being moved. They threw things around without any care for damages, almost breaking our floor by dropping heavy items and ripping cords out of walls. We told them to leave because of their neglect and abuse. They falsely accused us of having dog poop in the house (which was a lie) and that we cursed them out of the house (when they were the ones causing damage during the move). We tried to contact the company and the person we started with, but they refused to answer our calls and only replied with passive-aggressive texts and false defenses. They refused to refund our deposit even though nothing was actually moved and they had already caused damage with their horrible attempt.

Me and my family had a deal with All-Ways Moving and Storage Ltd. to move from Guelph, Ontario to High River, Alberta. We paid a deposit and everything seemed fine until 11 days before the move, when they cancelled on us. We had to scramble to find another way to move, and ended up renting a U-Haul truck and car trolley. It was just the three of us - two old folks and a teenager - who had to load and unload everything. Instead of taking three days like we planned, it took us five days to drive to our new home. We had to pay for hotels, fuel, and deal with the stress of finding a new solution. The owner of the company never even said sorry or contacted us. We ended up paying way more than we would have if they had kept their end of the deal. The stress was unbearable, but at least they returned our deposit. The contract was supposed to be fulfilled on July 7th.

My stuff finally arrived after 6 long weeks with the help of a lawyer, local MLA, friends, family, etc. It was so dirty that I had to clean everything for weeks. The mattress is the worst part. The driver gave me $300 for cleaning and agreed to forget about the rest of the money I owed. But I didn't realize how bad the mattress was until he left. I can't work because I have so much cleaning to do (even inside the boxes) and my furniture is scratched. I found a few broken pieces too. I'm most worried about the mattress. I want an extra $600 because the cheapest pillow top queen size memory foam mattress I can find is $900. I'm sleeping on my couch now, but I want to sleep in my bed and forget about this nightmare.

We hired Allways Moving to move our furniture from Waterford ON to Colpitts Settlement NB. Before coming to get our things, the driver/broker came to look at our belongings and ensured me that he can handle all of my things, no problem. He promised that I could get my things within 14-20 days. The dispatcher gave us quote of $4,200 but now $9,167 & 3 months late (they said we will get lots of discounts but this price does not include any). On June 14th, they came and got our things, not leaving an inventory list. After 3 weeks, we got concerned, no communication between the driver, dispatcher, or owner, therefore, we started calling and the only one that was somewhat responding was the dispatcher although he had no new information for us. The driver promised that we will be getting our furniture weekly but kept having excuses about trucks being broken down with no receipts, proof of breakdowns as we asked for, or saying our weight was too much. RCMP and Insurance is involved.

I booked All Ways Moving and Storage through *** Movers on May 26th. Our deposit of almost $2000 was processed on May 27th for our Cross Canada Move. Move out date in Ontario on either July 14th or latest July 15th as our house closed on July 16th. *** put us in touch with ***, the owner of All Ways, who would be doing our move. On June 28th, I checked in via email and *** asked if we could be ready for Tuesday July 13th to which we confirmed. July 12th, we had not heard from the ALL Ways driver for an ETA for the 13th as we had been instructed would happen. On July 12th, we emailed and left a vm for *** from ALL WAYS and a driver named *** who does not belong to ALL WAYS but instead owns his own trucking company in Hamilton ON called me. He told me he was our driver but had not received our move order until the week prior (week of July 5th) and that he could not accommodate our move to Nova Scotia. He was too busy. My husband and I called *** from ALL WAYS several times that day and the next day with no answer and no return phone call -EVER. We also went back to *** Movers as well for assistance. The driver *** told me that All Ways was very unprofessional and had put him in a bad situation. The driver tried to help. On July 13th, we found out from the driver that he could not accommodate our move. *** the owner of ALL WAYS never once contacted us or helped us to find a solution. He never took accountability, no apology, nothing. ALL Ways Moving and Storage never moved us. We were left stranded less than 2 days to having to be out. He doesn't deserve to be in business and I hope you get to read this ***,...you should feel ashamed.
All-Ways Moving & Storage moved my stuff from Halifax to Vancouver
All-Ways Moving & Storage moved my stuff from Halifax to Vancouver. They took my stuff on 20Feb20 and delivered it to my new place on 06Mar20. But when I started unpacking, I found out that some of my stuff was damaged. I tried to contact *** at All-Ways Moving & Storage by phone and email, but he stopped responding on 17Mar20 because of COVID-19. So, on 19May, I sent him an email saying that I had to deal with the damage myself. I had to pay $7804.60 to fix my 2013 *** x1, $4000.00 to fix my artwork, $950.00 to fix my coat tree, and $500.00 to replace my 32" *** TV. I had to pay $6,168.11 to get my stuff back from All-Ways Moving & Storage. They didn't tell me about the damage to my car, but they did tell me about the damage to my TV. *** promised to take care of my claim, but I still haven't heard from him. He said he would put *** in touch with me, but I don't know who *** is. All-Ways Moving & Storage packed my crystal, china, dishes, glasses, and artwork, and they admitted that they packed the artwork too tightly. I paid the moving bill in good faith, but I think All-Ways Moving & Storage should refund me the cost of my move because of the damage they caused.
