Allied replace our roof and install leaf blocker on the gutters
Allied replace our roof and install leaf blocker on the gutters. First class company. High quality product and very reasonable price. So impressed with the speed the roof was done, less than a day. Impressed with the clean up, do not find a single nail in the yard. They took special care to place tarps over the flower beds to protect them. From the estimator, to the roofers, to the project manager who called when the job was competed to make sure we were totally satisfied, they were an amazing group of people. We would recommend this company.
I am glad I called Allied
I am glad I called Allied. I met wit several roofing companies. The Allied sales rep is the only one that didn't use pressure or silly 'buy now' gimmicks. He listened more than he talked and he gave me what I was looking for. The office kept in touch about scheduling. The installation team was on time and in addition to doing a nice job on the roofing, they protected my shrubs that are near the house and my deck etc. I feel like I got my moneys worth and I am comfortable that if I need service or other work done in the future that Allied will be there for me.
New roof, new gutters. Prompt, listened well, good results, polite, professional. A pleasure to deal with. Will use them again.
My new deck from Allied Remodeling is absolutely beautiful. I love the design. And not only is the deck well-constructed, it has a lifetime labor warranty. Also, the Allied Remodeling team was friendly, knowledgeable and hardworking. My deck was inspected and completed within three days. Communication could have been a little better. I had to reach out a couple of times to check the status. And while the company does not use cement around the legs of the deck, it would have been nice if perhaps white gravel could have been laid to give the deck a more polished look. I also was surprised that the grass around the deck was pretty worn and left somewhat muddy when the work was completed. I now need to put down grass seeds to regrow the grass in those areas. Also, the way the deck was measured, one side blocks access to my outdoor outlet, which I did not discover until the deck was built. That said, I still plan to enjoy my new deck.
Allied Remodeling contractors were awesome. They were always on time. The job was completed in less time than expected. Josh and his crew gave me a new home. Wow.
I had a new roof and gutters installed.Everything thing looks great and the crews ere very professional. Grear work!
The crew you sent arrived on time and got right to work
The crew you sent arrived on time and got right to work. First, the team lead checked with me to ensure that we were ready. They worked hard and were very thorough. We are very pleased with the finished roofing, the faux chimney replacement, the gutter guards and gutter repair. Prior to leaving, the crew did an excellent job of cleaning up the yard. Also, my thanks to the Allied Remodeling employees that I spoke with over the phone and via emails both before, during and upon completion of the project. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant during our discussions.
The folks at Allied are the real deal, professional, very fairly priced and a pleasure to work with. Their crew went above and beyond to make sure our roof replacement stayed on schedule and budget. Highly recommended!
Presentation of the options for our roof replacement accurately reflected the work which was done. The price was unbeatable. The work crew was professional and thorough. We have a long roof and the crew worked two full 12 hour days to get the work completely. They also cleaned up very well once the work was done.
I had used Allied Remodeling for a new roof, including sky lights a couple of years ago. That job's completion was just so awesome, I reached out to Allied once again after decided on new windows. My 1st contact Alvaro G, Allied Remodeling Sr. Consultant. Alvaro was thorough, without pressure (which I committed to on the spot). The S/O windows, plus promised special order and subsequent was executed with precision. The installers, ***s, (whom I had met as the 2nd point-of-contact) was extremely focused, thoughtful, polite and professional. Oh they completed the installation in a day as opposed the originally allotted (2) days. Needless to say...I am very pleased with the entire process from materials, staff and completion. I would recommend Allied Remodeling for both new roofs and windows to everyone I know and/or meet!

My daughter recommended Allied and I was very pleased with there work.
I absolutely love the work that Allied roofing did for me
I absolutely love the work that Allied roofing did for me. I have a childcare in my home so it was very important to me that they were clean, neat and thorough, and that is exactly what they were. The crew was out at 6:45 just sitting in their trucks waiting for the 7 o'clock mark to hit and at 7 AM on the dot they knocked on my door and started working. It was an all day job they did not finish until about 6 PM however; they worked the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Allied roofing to anyone looking for a prompt, professional and thorough roof replacement.
I had a new deck installed. Mike A was the general contractor for Allied. He listened to what my vision was and brought my vision to life. I am beyond happy!
The roof looks good and hopefully it functions as it should. I was told a project manager would be on site but one never did show up. Crew was nice and cleaned up excellently. However, they did not cover my new ac unit and debris fell into and on it.
DID A GREAT JOB ON THE ROOF. CLEANED UP WELL. A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED THAT THERE WAS NO PROJECT MANAGER ON SITE AS WAS PROMISED. THE GUYS WORKED VERY HARD TO GET IT DONE. I WOULD USE ALLIED AGAIN.
Allied roofers were skillful, cooperative, and friendly. They did an excellent job in a minimum of time and took the time to clean up thoroughly. All around, a positive experience with a very competitive price.
The work performed was professional and my roof looks wonderful
The work performed was professional and my roof looks wonderful. The problem I have is with your $ 3999. whole roof commercial on channel 11. I hear this commercial every morning. It clearly state's the price is for a whole house replacement. I showed the commercial to my friends and family and they agree that it states that. So why would you have a commercial that has this offer and when I asked about that I was told that price was for a townhouse. Well that not what is said. I feel this is misleading and is taking advantage of the consumer. I would like to know why your marketing department would feel this is acceptable.
Provided a good quote and started job quickly
Provided a good quote and started job quickly. Disappointed they advertise and promote using "their" people/workers, however, I experienced subcontractors on my roof and gutter projects. Another disappointment was having communication with workers, as they were all Latino, who struggled speaking English. I believe an actual representative from Allied shouldve made an appearance, at least once on the job. The trash was also an issue I had to address several times with the crew. Kevin was available via phone and did fix and reimburse me on damage caused by the subcontractors. Overall, I rate them as an average roofing company.
Allied is to be commended for the outstanding customer service, roofing products and installation, and pricing
Allied is to be commended for the outstanding customer service, roofing products and installation, and pricing. My partner and I are very satisfied with the quality of communication throughout the sales, contract, planning, preparation, installation, and follow-up process. Most importantly, roof tiles delivered the day before installation as promised and installation crew arrived promptly at 7 AM and completed job by 6 PM, including attention to detail, opportunity to review entire installation and very thorough clean-up of our entire property. Finally, all of this and very competitive pricing make it easy for me to highly recommend Allied for your roofing installation.
From start to finish Allied performed perfectly
From start to finish Allied performed perfectly. While I don't always let price govern my decisions, they were not only lower than other estimates I had but I determined the quality of the materials they would be using was the best. Our sales person took note that our entire front yard was fully planted with shrubbery and flowers and the crew who did our roof took every precaution possible to maintain their "safety". The project manager kept in touch with me prior to installation and answered any questions I had. Our crew were all very professional and made sure everything was cleaned up prior to leaving; my main concern was our rear yard for our dogs and have yet to find any stray nail! They worked diligently the entire time and beat the rain! I will definitely contact Allied for any future projects!

It took two years for my complaint to come to light because I didn't have the opportunity to have another vendor on my roof until now when I had my gutters cleaned. The gutter cleaner, who has no vested interest in the roof job said, "whoever did your roof did a piss poor job". There was a lot of roof debris left behind and it was noticed that the shingles appeared to be crooked. I contacted Allied Remodeling via email and receieved no response. I contacted them via telephone and left a message for someone to call me back from the office and no one has to date. I had them also do a roof on my rental property and waiting for the result from an inspection on that property. For a company to claim they are so professional and such, the customer service leaves something to be desired when I spent a total of $9000 between roofing jobs. Completely unacceptable.
This company is a sham, consumed with confusion and chaos
This company is a sham, consumed with confusion and chaos. They have more excuses than Johnny Appleseed. They should change their motto to "not do a project right".A good company doing a project,if they see something wrong no matter how small, would fix minor issues, not this company. What they do are basic replacements unless they can get more money out of it, a simple fix is not in the scope of the project. If they see something wrong , they will not take the extra step to resolve it, like other companies do. Almost everyone from this company talks from the same script, My neighbor obtained an estimate based on my suggestion, that was before I knew what kind of company they were. From the day the project began, she witnessed everything that transpired. The day the gutter guys left, she stated there is no way she would hire them and she felt sorry for me after I financed all that money. All I can say is buyer, beware.
From the estimate to the final nail in the roof, this company was transparent, very honest with the estimate and informative of any additional
From the estimate to the final nail in the roof, this company was transparent, very honest with the estimate and informative of any additional costs, should they arise. The work crew was very mindful of a special tree in the yard, was never touched. The work crew was very respectful to our requests to keep our neighbors yard clean since we live in townhomes. The crew also went thru our neighbors yard upon completion with a magnet to ensure all nails were removed from their yard as well as ours. The crew was neat and cleaned up very thoroughly and when they left, our home looked like a roofing crew with supplies was never even there! The follow up with Allied Remodeling was all about customer service, making sure my husband and I were satisfied, and an additional warranty was sent to us as well. I cannot say enough positive things about Allied Remodeling. My husband and I are very satisfied. Thank you Allied Remodeling!
Allied and its workers were great to deal with
Allied and its workers were great to deal with. I initially called for an estimate. The estimate was very complete. The sales rep answered all of my questions and came prepared with a sample of some of the material being used which was helpful to be able to see. The installers arrived and immediately went to work removing my old roof. They worked continuously (pausing for a minimal lunch break) until the job was complete, which was so much sooner than I expected. The installers were cordial and tolerated my curiosity to see the progress being made while looking out for my safety. They paid a lot of attention to detail. Very professional work and the cleanup was awesome! The next day my neighbor called to tell me how beautiful my roof was. I've held sightseeing tours with my family and they were very impressed. I would recommend Allied Remodeling to anyone looking for a company that truly works with the customer to facilitate the customer's desired outcome as well as being totally transparent.
Allied Remodelling totally astounded me
Allied Remodelling totally astounded me. First, the young man who provided the estimate was polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. I felt no pressure to give him a decision and was impressed with his patience with this old man. Once I agreed to have my roof replaced by Allied I felt I was fast-tracked for installation even though they were very busy (lots of precipitation wreaked havoc on their schedule). I was amazed by their quick scheduling. The quoted price from Allied was by far the best of the four estimates I received. I anticipated the final invoice would be much higher than the estimate. I stood corrected. The final invoice price was only $75.00 more than the estimate. The install crew arrived early, went straight to work and had my new roof finished by 1700 hours (5 pm for you civilians). Overall I would rate Allied a 9.9 out of 10. I deducted 0.1 because they didn't bring along a masseuse to ease my aching back...ONLY KIDDING. 10 out of 10. Thank you, Dave! Thank you Allied Remodelling of Central Maryland!
Not happy with "surprises" in the contract
Not happy with "surprises" in the contract. Yes, I signed the contract which included an additional charge for wood (planking and plywood). BUT I was very clear with the sales person about my budget. I am a newly widowed kindergarten teacher and even I knew there were problems with my roof. I budgeted for them. But then they came back, after wood repairs, almost DOUBLE their estistmate! I knew and I understand that there would be unseen via a satalite image. I was very... EXTREMELY.clear about my budget! This is their job. Their business. Their profession... they should be able to state estimated repairs and charges, and I as a consumer should be able to tell the that I can't afford that repair yet. I understand it needs attention but I can't afford it yet. I'm so angry. Again, due to Covid, I am newly widowed. I feel like they are taking advantage of me and my circumstances. While thus far I have no complaints about the work of cleanup, I would not recommend this company. Due to the surprises they have imbedded in their contract. They are the professionals. They should be able to look and give an appropriate estimate. I as a consumer should not have to guess.

1 window replacement seal has broken
On Tuesday April 25, 2023 Artie got in touch with me. I sent him all the information he needed to get a replacement window. He said it would take 2 to 3 months. On July 5, I reached out to Artie, he said he would get back to me and never did. On September 20, I reached out to Artie, he said he will reach out to the supplier and never got back to me.
Desired outcome: A replacement for my window. Either the same one, or one similar.

I gave Allied a $100 check in 2
I gave Allied a $100 check in 2. Their TV ad says they never collect a deposit. I don't trust them. Paul has been harassing even tho I have ?'s In March and April Paul at Allied was harassing me to start the work. I did not want anyone on my property during COIVD and the sales person Geary S said I could put the installer off until the summer months. I learned from their television ad that they "never collect a deposit." As I asked questions about the contract the story kept changing. I don't trust them and their advertising is FALSE. I do not want to do business with them. I want my $100 back and never work with them again. I hope you can help.

Roof replacement, Bay window shingles, French door shingles On November 14 I contracted with Allied Remodeling to replace the roof on my home and place new shingles and appropriate coverings over the Bay Window and to do the same with the French door. I recently noticed that the work done was far from what should have been done over the Bay Window. I have included photos to show my window before (photos taken by Allied) and photos after (taken by me). I contacted Allied agent named Ardi who came out and took a look then after a week or more I called and he said my window was always like the way it is now. The have refused to acknowledge their Life Time Labor Warranty that the home will be free from defects due to faulty workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

roofers bent wrapping around front windows and did a horrible job of caulking
roofers bent wrapping around front windows and did a horrible job of caulking. Contacting Allied several time, no response. Allied replaced my roof and when doing so the roofers bent the metal wrapping around my front windows and try to caulk the metal. It looks horrible. I want it smooth like it was before the roofers ruined it. Kevin K, the PM, was supposed to send someone to look at it. I have contacted the main office twice, emailed Kevin on 7/25, 8/3 and 8/8. I have completed a survey that Allied sent me asking for someone to contact me. NOTHING! I paid my bill in full which I shouldn't have BUT I am true to my word and they need to do the same. Kevin K #410-*** invoice # *** 8/3 total $6319 I also referred my neighbor at *** and have not receive the referral check of $200.

We Contracted Allied Remodeling to install a 16x27 Deck on our house on 7/13 and are not satisfied with the product
We Contracted Allied Remodeling to install a 16x27 Deck on our house on 7/13 and are not satisfied with the product. We Contracted with Allied and Kevin W to install a Deck on our house on 7/13. We have tried to be patient with Allied and the long delay in the start of the construction of our deck and considered cancelling the contract due to extended time past the time that we were told that Construction would start. We decided to go forward with Allied and the construction started on roughly 10/5. We were in constant contact during Construction via email with Kevin regarding issues that we were having. We had issues with miscut *** Boards and defects in the that were corrected at that time. When Allied came out to finish the Deck we did a walk thru with the Allied Installer and pointed out more anothet miscut board that is clearly uneven, trim boards that are not even and have gaps in it, and Raling that has pieces blowing off of it. We sent Kevin and email with Pictures and the only thing that Allied is willing to fix is the rail. They told us that there is expansion and contraction causing the seams to be uneven on a new deck which is untrue at best. They are refusing to address the punchlist we provided and we are disputing completion.

Refuse to repair or pay for repair of roof gutter guards they damaged during roof shingles installation
Refuse to repair or pay for repair of roof gutter guards they damaged during roof shingles installation. I had new roof installed in December by Allied Remodeling. During installation gutter guard on garage roof was damaged (along with window sills, deck, etc. This part is irrelevant to the complaint), and water started pouring in garage. Allied Rem. manager Kevin was contacted and stated that damage was fixed. I am not sure gutter guards on actual house roof are damaged. Several weeks ago water started pouring in garage again, and I called Gutter Helmet company (they installed gutter guards on my house roof in 2009, and I had lifetime warranty with the company). ***, Gutter Helmet rep., told me on arrival 7/29 and assessing that warranty is no longer valid because Allied Rem. did not install gutter guard properly (Allied Rem. supposed to call us, so we could take gutter guards off and reinstall them after roof is finished. Allied Rem. is aware of that per Wayne. 240-***; 410-***). He quoted me $336 for garage gutter guard repair and $1732 for whole house. I called Allied remodeling and explained issue. They told me that they are not responsible for incorrect installation or any damages, and they will not repair or pay for correct installation of new gutter guards.

I had gutter guards installed on my gutters about 2 1/2 years ago
I had gutter guards installed on my gutters about 2 1/2 years ago. I then decided to add a screened-in porch. Allied removed the guards and discarded them. When they repositioned the gutters, they damaged the guards on two sections. Recently, I noticed my gutters at the back were overflowing, eroding the dirt around the porch footers. I contacted Nick from Allied about the issue. He claimed I was informed to remove the guards myself after the work, which he never mentioned. If informed, I would have questioned how to do it without gutter access. I assumed the guards were still in place until now. When I called the gutter guard company for an inspection, they informed me that the system had been removed, causing leaves to clog the gutters. I now face the expense of reinstalling the guards, which is not feasible on my single income. The removed guards weren't left at my house; otherwise, I could have had them reinstalled. I believe Allied should cover the product and installation costs. This responsibility was not outlined in my contract, and it's unreasonable for a homeowner to handle this during professional work.

Put the wrong size drip molding on house causing wood to be exposed ,dented fascia to try to make it fit ,destroyed our cupola
Put the wrong size drip molding on house causing wood to be exposed ,dented fascia to try to make it fit ,destroyed our cupola. It had to be replaced. The date of roof replacement was 05/29 invoice #***,for the amount of $11,324.00,was paid by check, of witch we held back half until the job was to be finished properly. The wrong size drip was installed which was obvious by just looking at it, but the workmen continued ,even after I pointed it out. By them trying to make the too short drip molding cover up the fascia they severely dented the fascia on the dormers and the far end of the house (which I did not notice right away) .I called that evening and left a message about problem. Project manager called me and had me send him pictures .June 1st and june25 sent him many pictures of the damage. He tried to tell me I signed the contract , but I told him I am not the professional that suppose to know what I am doing, and that as soon as they saw that it was the wrong size they should have stopped the job. A no brainer! They also destroyed our cupola and actually only reattached it with sealer. They did pay for a replacement cupola which I bought and am in the process of putting on. Last communication was by me on Sept. 30th ,we have not heard from them since July 24th.they did come on July 15 and fix 2 of the 3 damaged dormers, I mistakenly thought that they had fixed all 3 and gave them the rest of the owed money. I sent one email and 2 text messages on Sept. 30th to :443-***,410-*** and ***@alliedremodeling.com. have not gotten any response. If you would like to see pictures I could text them to a phone our show you in person. I had originally told them not to worry about replacing the damaged fascia at the other end of the house , but since the runaround I now will need that damage also fixed. Thanks

Twice Arti, sales Mgr has told me he's mailing $1000 for incorrectly applying 15 squares of shingles
Twice Arti, sales Mgr has told me he's mailing $1000 for incorrectly applying 15 squares of shingles. Now he says he can't. Call Paul! In 2012, Allied installed 15 squares of shingles. I find shingles on the ground after every windstorm. Allied has sent Gary, their repair guy, so many times for repairs due to shingles flying off. At the beginning of April , I called Paul, an owner, regarding shingles flying off; he referred me to the manufacturer. On April 17, I sent 3 shingles to the Corp who emailed me that Allied applied the shingles INCORRECTLY. The same day, I called Arti, sales Mgr, and forwarded the above letter. He told me he could glue shingles down. I told him I want a new roof with a different roofer. Arti said that is ok, he would get the dollar amount from Dean and mail me a check. A few days later, Arti called and told me he can repair it or apply $1000 towards a new roof but only if it's from Allied. I told him he never said that before and I have already signed with another roofer. I immediately called Paul and spoke with Ashley, his assistant. The next day Arti calls and says he is mailing $1000 to me. He also told Gary, their repair guy, not to come fix the shingles that Saturday because he's sending me $1000. More shingles had flown off so Gary was going to repair them again, a previously planned appointment. On May 5, still no check, I call Ashley, who remembers me and said will let Paul know. On May 6, Arti calls and says Dean, another owner, said Allied can only repair the roof with glue or pay $1000 towards Allied's new roof. I did get a quote from Allied for a new roof; they are charging much more than the company I am going with. I feel Allied Remodeling does not apply shingles properly and doesn't stand by their word. After twice saying they will mail me $1000 and now making me go with them is not fair. I have already signed a contract with a new roofer.

Allied roofing put a new roof on my house on Oct
Allied roofing put a new roof on my house on Oct. 8, I have now a hole in my lawn, and molded plywood that was not replaced. Allied put a roof on my house on Oct 8. That same day I called and sent a message to the salesman that the roofers had not finished and had left trash strewn all over my property. It was disgraceful, and the roofer said they did not finish because one of their guys did not show up for work. The next day after the roof was put on I contacted the project because I noticed a giant hole in my lawn where the roofers hd materials. Someone came out to look at it, but there has been no further contact from the project mgr. I also called the project manager about 2 wks later when it rained again and I noticed rain in the same spot that I told the salesman about. I was told when a rep. of the co. called me and said all they did was take measurements and put a roof on because I asked for one. He was suggesting that the company did not take my information about leaks into consideration. The lead roofer returned, I invited him to come in and see where the water had come in. He then got on the roof and then told me he sealed a crack. I was never sent the photos, and why did he not see the crack when he worked on the roof for two days. Also, I discovered that the sheathing/plywood that I can see in the roof of the addition was not changed. It is still the same piece of molded plywood. I also had a friend get on the roof a day ago and pictures document that there is an area of the roof where they covered over moss that should have been scraped. Also, you can see how botched and terrible the flashing looks and an area that looks like it was not repaired thoroughly. I asked the project manager to come out for a post inspection, and I have not heard from him. I believe I was taken advantage of because of my age, being by myself, and the fact they did not think I would do what I could to check behind their work. I did not receive quality workmanship, molded plywood was covered up, I have a gaping hole in my lawn, and the project manager can not find any time to meet with me and check over the job. I am expected to pay thousands of dollars for sub par product.

Had a new roof installed in September
Had a new roof installed in September. It has leaked three times and done damage to the interior of my home. Contracted with Allied Remodeiling to have a new roof installed in September . Part of the roof is pitched but the majority is flat. This roof has leaked three times. The first time was a minor leak. They sent a crew, checked the roof said it was fixed, usd *** spray paint to cover the water mark. Fortunately, I plan on having that ceiling redone because it certainly didn't match. The second time, caused significant damage to the hallway ceiling. This happened in August/ September. I gave them a ceiling tile so they could could purchase replacement tiles. I was informed that they couldn't locate any. i managed to find them. Was told to order/purchase them and I would be reimbursed. I did and I was repaid. The third time was the absolute worst. I had water pouring out of the hallway ceiling which then caused the living room ceiling to leak. I had Rubbermaid tubs, pots, pans, towels and tarps in my hallway and living room. Called Allied several times. NEVER received a return call from anyone. In fact, they have never called me to follow up on anything. I always have to call them. I requested a Manger, owner or supervisor to call me. That hasn't happened either. My living room ceiling is bubbled and cracked in places. The hallway tiles were falling down in the middle of the night. I was running up and down the stairs to try and mitigate the damage to my home. All of this happened December 16. I was running around getting Christmas presents in another area so they weren't ruined, I was taking pictures off the walls so they weren't ruined. I could go on and on. I am 67 years old, live alone and have never experienced anything like this. Nothing like hearing a thump in the middle of the night while running up and down the stairs to see ceiling tiles on the floor. I had to get a ladder to take down those that were hanging. I am concerned about MOLD and feel that the entire ceiling should be removed and replaced as well as the paneling that was in the hall. Some parts of that are slightly buckled also. I spoke with Artie today and he said he would have a someone here on Monday. I am so sorry that I chose Allied. I should have known it wasn't going to be good when the workers took it upon themselves to park their truck in my neighbors yard without permission. I paid $6,000 for a new roof and now am sick when I hear it is going to rain. I am two time homeowner and have contracted with numerous companies over the years and have NEVER EVER had an experience like this.

Incorrect product color installed, with leakage issues, broke siding shingles during roofing job, refusal to send out a supervisor or contact us
Incorrect product color installed, with leakage issues, broke siding shingles during roofing job, refusal to send out a supervisor or contact us. June - Allied was hired after Pat N gave us an estimate. July the work began for a new roof and flashing installment per the signed contract. Work began at 7:30am and they worked until after 9pm which it was dark by this time. We work up the next morning to look at the job competed when we noticed the flashing was the incorrect color and installed incorrectly. Allied was contacted and they came back and installed the correct color and my husband showed them how it was supposed to be installed correctly. Before the correct color flashing was installed we got a heavy rain and the roof leaked ( it has never leaked before the new roof or flashing) again we contacted them SEVERAL times with no response, finally after a text message with pictures of the interior damage and the roof/ Flashing job of where it was leaking Arty replied "I will get them to do a water test but to be honest with you we believe the leak is coming from the window sill. if you look at the picture you sent me the bottom of the window sill of the roof is in really bad shape" This window has been in this condition since purchasing this property 2 years ago and has NEVER leaked before. once the correct color was installed CORRECTLY it has not leaked since. During the roofing job the companies employee broke several of the siding shingles on the front, side and back of the house with out informing, replacing or fixing them. We have been trying to communicate with the company to fix the siding and we have asked for the supervisor to come out several times, they have sent out workers to fix the broken shingles but only after complaining that they broke them. while replacing the tiles more tiles got broke and the worker got upset and almost hit another with a hammer until he saw my husband standing there watching him. He attempted to FIX the tile by gluing it together with some kind of white caulk or putty on a tan tile. I now have water damage on the interior of my house they are refusing to come out and see and a bunch of mix matched painted shingle tiles. Today is 8/20 and even though we have tried to contact them and have them come out and discuss some options to make things right they do not return calls or they are giving reasons on why they cant saying it COVID, however they had no problem sending a sales person out and the work crew out. I just want the damage done to be fixed and made right. As I am sitting here writing this Billing called for their payment, despite not being contacted back for complaints. Billing stated she would have Arty or the owner contact me. However, based on my current service I am doubt full I will get the call.

Billed $500 above provided quote and was not made aware of the additional $500 until bill was received
Billed $500 above provided quote and was not made aware of the additional $500 until bill was received. Received and signed a quote dated 05/01 for Allied Remodeling to install a new roof on my rental property located at ***, Gambrills, MD. 21054 in the amount of $5,799.00. The initial quote was $5,999.00, but I had asked the representative, Jason B, if he could do any better with the price. He stated, "I can only take $200 off and I will probably get in trouble for that when I get back to the office." That statement would later factor into why I think my final bill increased by $500. The new roof was installed on 05/21. I stopped by the property while the work was in progress. I even spoke to one of the workers. At no time did any worker advise me off additional costs. On 05/28 is received my final invoice via email. It was at that time that I noticed the additional $500 added to the quoted price. I immediately sent an email response to Allied that same day (05/28) to address my concerns about the additional $500 and also the due date of the payment was the same day the bill was sent (05/28). I received an email (05/29) from the President, Dean D, what stated "I apologize, we do try to reach out our customers when wood needs to be replaced. I will have Kevin search your file in our company cam portal and send you some pictures of the wood replacement." As you can see by the response, the President acknowledges this isn't the typical way they do business, but for some reason it was okay to handle it with me though. I then responded the same day (05/29) with " Well, no one reached out to me in advance. Seeing the extra $500 for the first time is not a good thing and it is a bad business practice. It comes across as if you are scamming the customer. Sending pictures after the fact isn't of benefit either. This is stuff that should have been presented before or during the work." The President then responded (05/29) with "I understand your concern, but the roof installation and replacement of the plywood is not something that can be halted until we reach the customer which is why we document the work with pictures." I the responded with (05/29) with " Got it. I will work with the ComplaintsBoard.com from here on. At the very least to have a complaint on file with them." The President once again responded. That response included the following statement "So we do the right thing, we document it with photos to send to you and we're threatened with a ComplaintsBoard.com complaint which once its closed in our favor which it will be based on the circumstances still leaves a mark on our record forever. ...I hope that you would reconsider after thinking about it." I responded (05/29) which included "The ComplaintsBoard.com was not a threat. It is my right as a consumer and if I can warn others of your tactics, that is my right." The final correspondence occurred on 05/29 from the President stating, "As you wish." I mailed the check in the full billed amount of $6,2999.00 on Monday 06/01.

Allied Remodeling of Central MD, Inc
Allied Remodeling of Central MD, Inc. contract issues and faulty work @*** Millersville 07/06 requested estimate 07/11 met with Jason B for estimate. Showed him concerns of rotting wood noticeable with roof, under eaves, and gutters. 07/13 signed contract 08/12 received call from Kevin K, Project Manager 08/22 @6:45am roofers on roof. No announcement of arrival. Approx. 11am went outside, saw crew having issues, moving chimney shaft. Sealant paper partially done. Received email from Allied office invoicing for full roof install and 6 replaced boards. By Allied's own advertising, not compelled to pay any of this contract until it is finished, and satisfied with the outcome. @1pm I called Kevin re: concerns of invoice, install not being completed, the rotted wood, and debris left in area and between gutters/fascia. @4pm crew left without notice. @5:45pm Kevin called stating that he would speak with crew, he would be out 08/24 to inspect concerns, and to assess the gutter/fascia issues. 08/24 I took the day off work. @12:30pm called Kevin to find out where crew was. @1:30pm Kevin called stating that distributor couldn't find and didn't have supplies to finish project. He stated the crew would be there 08/25 morning to complete tlast of the roofing contract. (rake edge/soffit/leaf guards). I asked if he was coming to inspect, but was brushed off. 08/25 @4:45pm arrived home from work to find NOTHING done. I called Kevin. Left a msg. @5pm one man crew showed up to install the rake edge/soffit/leaf guards. @5:15pm I called Kevin - answering service - left msg regarding crew's late arrival and lingering concerns over rotted wood and other issues @6pm went out and saw crewman trying to frame on rotted wood and not being successful aswood was falling apart. At this point I stopped him. @6:15pm Kevin called. I addressed the concern of rotted wood not being replaced and that I had spoken with Jason during the estimate regarding all rotted areas, I had impression that this was all going to be taken care of during roof install. 08/26 @7:30am I called Jason and left msg. @10:30am I called Jason. During this conversation, Jason was extremely rude, condescending, and would talk over anything I tried to convey. He stated I never pointed out any rotting areas or concerns regarding fascia, because I had halted the construction my contract was causing a loss for Allied. I was told to pay my contract. The gutters/fascia were a different scope of work that needed to be added to tcontract, this should have been discussed during the estimate, and he would "give me a deal" to remove gutters - rewrap the facia. I countered that I would find another contractor for this scope, as I didn't want to deal with Allied anymore. He pointed out I was obligated to my full contract; nothing could be negotiated for work completed to what was left. I was told to write down "precisely" what he stated to get the fascia done, that this scope of work would not affect the contract being able to be completed. @11am I called Jason back. During this conversation he was again extremely rude, condescending, and cutting off my conversation. I asked him to stop talking over me and listen. When I stated that Allied has sent me a survey, he started slinging things at me and stated the contract would be slung at me, that no matter what Allied did, I would not be satisfied. 09/05 @3pm sent Kevin email update. Notified him of broken siding. 09/19 Other contractors arrived to do facia/gutters. 09/22 called Kevin and left msg Allied could proceed. I sent him pictures of the issues found with rotted wood that his contractors ignored. 10/07 emailed Kevin as I had not heard from him. 10/15 Kevin email - crew there 10/19 10/19 7:30am-3pm Allied crew onsite. Rotted wood from gutters to peak removed. Used my contractor materials. Siding not repaired. Emailed Kevin. 11/04 Ashley called. 11/10 still no reply from Kevin. Siding unrepaired. Contract not amended/discounted.

My whole experience with Allied was very positive, from the first encounter to the last. Every individual was knowledgeable, and customer focused. Would highly recommend.
Really happy with the work in a timely manner with no suprises and most importantly I had direct access not only to the crew manager but the project manager I didn't had to call and talk to a secretary and wait for a call back which is very important to me so overall eally pleasant experience for a big project I had replacing my whole roof.
they went above and beyond to protect the front and back of my home while installing a roof. They replaced all rotten wood and replaced with new. They not only cleaned up around my home but the neighbors as well.
The guys did a great job, they worked the entire time they were at my house and cleaned up everything after the work was complete. Highly recommend.
