Diamond and opal bracelet
I ordered a diamond and opal bracelet for my 13th wedding anniversary from Allurez.com (order 75328). This item was very late and was not to my satisfaction and returned in its original condition in its original packaging. I have still not received a refund and Allurez has been stonewalling me and has both my money and the bracelet and has been unresponsive...

Zero Stars-My Allurez experience began Jun 6th w/ the purchase of an engagement ring (setting only) and continues this day. BBB is currently managing complaint #[protected]. Let me be clear... I realized miscommunications were occurring between customer service and me. I waited what I though a reasonable time for communication and shipping confirmation (2 weeks) before requesting refund and was told my custom order was non-refundable. However, the return policy covers this in two separate bullets and Allurez believes one bullet stating "Design your Own" ring can be exchanged for equal or greater value products clearly captures the essence of the next bullet stating "Custom Orders" are non-refundable. I was appalled at such word play for a $1700+ item. After a week of back and forth communications, it was clear Allurez, regardless of what early stage this ring was in design, was never willingly going to return my money which was pulled from my account on June 8th.
What I ordered: An 18kt white gold three stone setting with blue sapphires on either side of a primary empty prong setting sized for a future 1ct very good or better proportion diamond. A total of ten channel set diamonds (five on either side of the ring). This was meant to be a very symbolic piece. My fiancée and I have been married before and we have five children together and I have already gifted her a necklace of five stones; two families joined by one union.
What I received about 30 days after order: A very damaged, worn looking and incomplete 14kt white gold ring with gouges on a smaller and clearly different band than was pictured; damaged blue sapphires that has one prong completely missing; spalling in the ring and setting casting; a primary stone prong setting not soldered in place and a thin foil layer appearance noting inferior white gold process. I wish I could post pics as they speak for themselves. I feel Allurez got vindictive w/ me and falsely claimed to BBB issue has been resolved.
Aug 18 2022 update... still has not refunded money... only interested in having me return the evidence to them and taking the best piece of evidence for court. Dan is a piece of work but ignorant as he has insisted he wants to make this right and have me return after I told him repeatedly I'll never do business with them again. He asked if after this is resolved I'd be willing to remove some of my negative posts including BBB complaint I guess... hell no! I told you I'd quote you Dan and I am a man of my word. This place must employ spam feedback specialist to keep their rating this high... it's all lies! This company employs con artists and thieves!
Oct 2022 Update: Still living this nightmare! Already replaced the ruing from a very reputable local jeweler who has provided my what I expected from Allurez. Did I say I also filed a complaint with FTC? Well I did and I hope they see a trend of such reports and they go after this front for internet crime. Currently working with The Jewelers Vigilance Committee and hoping the can facilitate a refund. If this doesn't work, it looks like I'm taking them to court.
Wedding Set
My husband ordered my engagement ring in February however, it was not given to me until our birthday trip in May. He proposed to me on the evening of May 2nd while we were in Canada. By the time we returned home on the 6th of May a stone had fallen out. He immediately contacted Allurez where they sent a return label and said they would fix the ring. Once the ring was returned 3 weeks later, I put the ring on and the exact same day that I received it back a stone had fallen out. He then contacted Allurez and told the customer service agent that this is the second time that the stone has fallen out and at this point they have had the ring longer than we have had the ring. The customer service agent replied that I need to be more careful and take extreme care when wearing their products. My husband's reply was that I was a housewife and don't work so care is already being taken. The customer service agent said that we could send it back and that it could be repaired. My husband then informed the customer service agent that we would send it back and that we were getting married on August 8th and would like to have it back by then if possible and that if a stone again falls out after we get it back then we would like a refund. The customer service agent said that it should be back by our wedding day and that a refund would need to be escalated if it was a problem. My wedding day came and went and there was no ring. I got married on the 8th of August, the ring was not returned until the 28th of August. 3 weeks later, again, a stone fell out. My husband expressed his displeasure with the customer service agent and asked for a refund. They said that we had the ring more than 30 days and could not grant a refund. They also talked to their jeweler who said that the emeralds in the infinity ring is a delicate stone and further suggested that instead of having the emeralds in the ring that we should go with all diamonds because that is a better chance that the stones won't fall out. We ordered the infinity ring with emerald stones which obviously the jeweler can't set the stones where they don't fall out. They offered to make another ring with all diamonds which is not what we wanted and not what we ordered. They said they can't guarantee the ring as we ordered it so we requested a refund. The customer service agent said that a refund request needed to be escalated to management and we suggested that they go ahead and escalate the situation. The agent said that we would get a response in 3 business days. After 3 business days we did not hear from Allurez so we called to see about the refund to which they responded there would be no refund. Since they could not give us what we paid for, which is an infinity ring with the emerald stones there should be a refund.
Desired outcome: We desire a full refund for the wedding set

Princess Di emerald earrings
Ordered some 'Princess Di' emerald earrings pictured on website as good quality, fine jewelry, supposedly retailing for/appraising for $1600+ and inspired by Princess Diana and Kate Middleton. I was trying to match a necklace from my late mother. Joke…emerald gemstones were of poor inferior quality and should probably retail/appraise half the price stated. Gemstones were opaque/cloudy no transparency whatsoever, not as shown, usually used for less expensive pieces, definitely not fine jewelry. Gemstones were nothing as pictured. First of all item was to be shipped in 4-7 days as shown on website and on order form. It took them 19 days to ship. When calling to check on late purchase, customer service was either none responsive or didn't answer/return emails or messages about 40% of the time. When they did, they either gave generic answers or lied to me not once but twice that it was shipping during the 2nd week. It came 20 days later, and to my dismay inferior quality not as pictured. Gemstones were inferior, and not fine, not princess worthy, definitely not the quality they were supposedly retailing for. False advertising. You need to wait for an RMA which needs to be approved by management. Also you need to pay for shipping back including insurance, another loss on your end if you return, because they don't pay for shipping back. Also they will not accept returns sent via US Postal including priority mail with insurance and signature required. When I asked about not accepting USPS, a manager agreed to send me a free label. But upon checking on my order and seeing that I had written a review about my honest experience with them, they retracted the promised label saying only if you take out the review (of your honest truthful bad experience) we will send you a free return label. Wow. Also, they say you need to work with them. Work with them and ensure more punishment? Work with them so they will give you a label and your refund back in exchange for a coverup? I think returning the unused item would be sufficient to get money back. It's unbelievable. And it takes like 10 days upon receipt of the return to review and get your money back if they decide to give it to you. Disgusting, disgraceful, and unethical.
Desired outcome: Free shipping back and prompt refund.
ring
I received a blue topaz and diamond wedding band as a gift. We took it to 2 local jewelers (as buying online you cannot always be sure what you are going to get) and they informed us that the diamonds were actually "white sapphires" and the blue topaz stones were "aquamarines." We had two different jewelers tell us the same thing. We contacted Allurez with this information and they stated "Well that is the other jewelers just trying to sell you something, we don't use fake diamonds." They basically told me it was my word against there's. What was I supposed to do with a ring with fake diamonds when I was promised real diamonds? They offered me an exchange, but why would I want to deal with them even more so I asked for an immediate refund and they said I couldn't get one because the ring was contoured and that is their policy. So then they offered to have the ring inspected if we sent it back and I WOULD HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING (which we did not do because that is ridiculous to make me pay for shipping for them to just tell me "oh we don't use fake diamonds). So I posted multiple reviews on different sites and Allurez told me that they would refund my money ONLY if I took my reviews down and my complaint off BBB.org. Let me remind you that this is ILLEGAL to penalize someone for a bad review (aka not returning their money). Please ask me for proof and I will show you. So not only did they send me a ring with fake diamonds in it when we were promised real ones, they forced me to take down my reviews if I wanted a refund. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS AND SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!
engagement ring
All my troubles started when I purchased an engagement ring from Allurez using their website at the beginning of December 2018. They quickly sent me an email asking me to send them a copy of my identification and credit card information. They claimed it was to verify my identity, but if this email were intercepted (and it is impossible to send a secure email due to the way emails works), my identity could be stolen. I refused to send this information by email and asked for a different method of verification. Allurez assured me that my credit card would not be processed and recommended that I repeat the purchase using Amazon Payments. I believed them and made another purchase though Amazon Payments.
A few days later I realized that Allurez processed the first payment after all. Without verifying my identity (which they claimed was for MY protection), they charged my credit card anyway. $6, 700. Through Amazon Payments, they charged me again. Another $6, 700. My credit card account was now overdrawn. I incurred an over limit fee through my credit card company. They did process the refund for the first charge, but their website showed everything in Canadian dollars, but I was charged in US dollars. I lost almost $200 due to currency exchange.
At this point I was very angry with Allurez and asked them to cancel my second order and return my money. They asked why I wanted to cancel. I wrote back. They never replied. After repeated failed attempts to email them and call them, I was finally able to get in touch with them, at which point I was informed that they didn't know anything about any cancellation request, and my order was being processed. Again, I asked to cancel, but was told that it has been over 24 hours since my order was placed, and I could not cancel.
I told Allurez that I wanted a refund (I was well within their 30-day refund policy). Allurez told me that the ring is already being made, and whether I want to return it or not, the ring would be shipped to me anyway, and I would have to pay shipping in both directions. I said it was silly to ship the ring to me when I am going to return it anyway. They said that there was nothing they could do. Imagine that! With today's technology, Allurez was unable to pick up the phone and call the shipping department to hold the order. It's worth mentioning that the ring did not ship for another two weeks after I informed Allurez I would be returning it.
After the ring arrived in my home town, I received a call from the shipping company (FedEx) who informed me that I had to pay a customs fee to receive the ring. They also asked me whether it was true that the worth of the ring was only $2, 000. Naturally, I said it wasn't true, since I bought the ring for $6, 700. At this point I started to suspect that Allurez is involved in intentionally undervaluing products for the customs in order to circumvent customs fees to appear more attractive to international markets. Later, I received confrimation of this from one of their agents named Greg. This is what he wrote in an email: "In regards to FedEx, we at Allurez intentionally declare the worth of a ring to be only $2, 000 in order to benefit our international clientele. As per our policy, you as the client will have to pay customs fees, for an international order. If the declared value of the engagement ring was higher in cost, you would have to pay more custom fees to receive the ring from FedEx. This therefore benefits you, by keeping the declared value of the engagement ring low."
I asked the FedEx representative to ship the ring back, but a few days later I found out that FedEx could not ship it back because Allurez asked to put a hold on the return.
For the past month (all of January), I've been sending repeat emails to their customer service both asking and beginning to process my return, but they keep pressuring me to change my mind and accept the ring. Their agents (who change on a rotating basis), repeatedly ask me why I want to return the ring even though their return policy states that I can return it for any reason and continue telling me that I must accept the package.
At this point, I have no idea whether the ring is still waiting at FedEx or not, and Allurez agents continue to deny everything and refuse to make any concessions.
Allurez:
- Advertises their products in local currency but charges customers in US dollars without any warning.
- Requires that international purchasers send their identification and credit card information via the least secure method of communication - email, - which can easily become the tool by which someone can steal your identity.
- Double charges their customers and refuses to accept responsibility for any credit card overages that occur as a result.
- Has incredibly rude, inattentive and inconsistent customer service agents who hang up on you on the phone when they do not want to listen to you and ignore your emails for days and sometimes weeks.
- Engages in shady business practices, such as shipping items when a customer has unequivocally requested that an order be cancelled or refunded.
- Falsely undervalues items for customs to circumvent international trade and customs laws.
- Pressures customers into accepting the purchase and refuses to provide refunds.
Worst of all, Allurez turns the dreams of an engagement to someone you love with all your heart into a nightmare. Asking the woman you love to marry you with a perfect ring is supposed to be a wonderful life-changing experience, and Allurez has turned this experience into one of the worst experiences of my life.
There are many other complains on this website about Allurez - people describing similar experience. Each of those complaints has the following comment:
"This review is 100% False, and written by a competitor. I have been buying from this company for years and have refereed many friends and family members to them and they are all happy. Their craftsmanship is amazing! You can see their real reviews on http://www.ivouch.com/allurez-com Buy form them and you will be happy." This is yet another example of their duplicity. They direct the visitors of this website to a website with false unverified reviews. I'm sure that before long, the same comment will appear below this review...
Beware of Allurez. Do NOT buy from them. Do not make the mistake I made. Read real reviews about the company from which you decide to purchase engagement rings. May your experience be better than mine.
I've attached my receipt to verify the authenticity of my order.
awful quality of bracelet and seller doesn't want to take it back
I bought bracelet from Allurez Fine Jewlery. I got it several weeks later, but I didn’t like how it looked like and it seemed had several scratches. I called to the customer services and their agent said that I should return item within 30 days after the purchase or they wouldn’t refund or replace it. I didn’t need replacement and I wanted money back, but after this email the seller stopped to reply to my questions. Be aware that this seller doesn’t want to take back his bad jewelry.

I didn't get any response about the purchase from the seller
I am very disappointed, because I have ordered engagement ring from Allurez Diamond and Fine Jewelry. After I paid for the purchase, I haven’t even got the confirmation about the purchase. I started to call and email the seller, who avoided me and hasn’t told me where my order was. I bought another engagement ring, but I want money back. Please, help me to get the refund.

Defective ring
I purchased a very expensive ring from Allurez.com . But the entire experience with this website was a real disaster. I paid extra for fast shipping and the ring was delivered within 7 business days. But, two days after receiving the ring all stones fell out. I immediately contacted customer support. They told that I need to send the ring back to them and then they'll give me a replacement. So I paid for shipping to return the ring back. Two months passed before I got a replacement. But the same thing happened again. I demanded a refund and was told that it was impossible. I argued with them for almost a month, and they finally agreed to give me something else as an exchange. They offered me a necklace. But when I got my package and opened it, there was no necklace inside. There was the same defective ring! Definitely not doing business with these guys anymore.

I have bought several pieces of jewelry from this company, and have been extremely thankful for the service I have received. It is hard for me to believe that all the stones from the ring could have possibly fallen out of Bree's ring, and even more so that it happened more than one time. Even with the small stones that I received in my engagement ring, I have worn it for over a year without any stones falling out.I would highly recommend this company to all my family and friends and already have for Valentine's day because I know they have a great sale going on.
The stone fell from the ring
I bought engagement ring from the company www.allurez.com. I was disappointed in their services, because the quality was awful. I ordered a ring, but in the same evening the stone fell out. I was so upset, but I contacted the seller and asked to change the ring. The rep told me that they needed to think and still hasn’t provided response. I think that he has forgotten or decided to foo me.

They change the stone, but it was different
It was awful and really frustrating to deal with the company www.allurez.com. I bought a ring from them, but after a day I noticed that I lost the stone. I contacted the rep, who told me that they would change it. Ok, I returned the ring and paid for the return shipping. I waited the whole month, but these guys didn’t communicate within this time. Two days I got the ring back, but the stone was different from the previous one and it was so noticeable. I asked to return money back, but still no reply.
