HARRASMENT
After the first time they called, i informed them that we were not interested.
I also informed the agents that i previously had this service, but never worked and i cancelled.
From then on i would get like 20 calls a day from these people.
This morning they called me 5 TIMES IN A ROW.AFTER I SAID WE WERE NOT INTERESTED.
Clearly the agents thought it to be a BIG FAT JOKE, BLOCKING OUR LINES AND I COULD CLEARLY HEAR THEM LAUGHING IN THE BACKGROUND.
THE LAST PERSON I SPOKE TO WAS NADIEM FROM THE CENTURY CITY BRANCH!

Cancellation of Membership
Amazing Vouchers sh0uld familiarize themselves with the legislation in SA, in particular the C0nsumer Protection Act. They fail to disclose that one enters into a 12 month fixed term contract, which is the way they TRY and keep you to a contract which you don't want to be in. There are remedies, people! That is the loophole - they did not do a full disclosure on the term of the contract.
I want to unsubscribe as well and they said that im bound for 12 months, or I must pay them a fee of R585 to cancel,
I was not told that the amazing vouchers was mandatory 12 mths membership, I did not want this in the first place but the agent nagged for days and stupidly against all my better judgement I send them my banking details only when I wanted to cancel 2 days later was I told that I was bound for 12 mths before I can cancel. I have never even looked at what vouchers I can use because I dont want them but they really dont care about that, they are just happy to take your money and keep you bound by something that was done underhanded there must be some protection for the customer here?

I have spoke to someone at amazing vouchers, pleading with them to cancell as a member to no success till today. I am struggling financially & this thing has added to my strain. I have never been so angry and violated in my life! Where do you guys come off stating that you actually provide a service, if what you actuaaly do is STEALING from the public!
I canceled my membership in October 2009. I followed the correct procedures by calling and putting my cancellation in writing. It is now April 2010 and the "wonderfully incompetent" people still debit my membership from my account. It took me hundreds of rands in phone calls to Cape Town (I am from Gauteng) to TRY and get someone to do something about this. It took me faxes and e-mails and still nothing happend untill I started screaming over the phone like a mad women and still somehow this is my fault.
Im stead of refunding all my money they come with some ### excuse to only refund a small amount of the total they stole from me, not taking into account the phone calls, faxes and e-mails I had to send to get some reation...they stole 6months of R195 from my account plus the money I had to spend trying to get someone there to actually do there jobs! And now they cannot tell me when I will receive my refund which in turn costs me some money again because I have to call after there ###!
This is a disgrace and I am actually sick to my stomach about this...YOU steal from people! How do you sleep at night?

Good day.I am so sorry 4 doing this but i have called 2 or three times amazing vouchers 2 cancel this contract.My reasons being that my husband is not working at the moment and i told them that i won`t be able 2 afford it any more.I have revered friends also 2 be on this and it was not a problem 4 them when they cancelled their contract over the telephone, but now i am having trouble that they told me that i have to pay R500.00 and something to cancel my contract, but my friend`s` was no problem cancelling theirs.Thank you 4 taking time 2 look at my complaint.Iam going 2 go to the bank 2 put a stop order in so they won`t` touch my money again cause i still have 2 girls so i can put that money towards their schoolfees, or something else like food, but they don`t wanna understand...

Dear All,
I sent in an e-mail earlier dated, 20th September 2011 requesting them to cancel my membership. An Admin Assistant, Farzaana George in Cape Town responded - she notified me to phone the Customer Service department for alternative cancellation options. I phoned them today and put in my request with the assigned Consultant. She told me that when the first Consultant phoned me a few months ago, a Declaration was given over to me via the phone. She continued and mentioned that a cancellation fee of R600 must be paid into their account whereby I told them that it was absurd "How can I be paying that amount when I did not even use any of the vouchers stipulated on the website as it was not even in my proximity!". The vouchers are either 10%, 20% or a ridiculous R5.00 off for an expensive item and you get a 50% discount for a luxury boat trip... in other words you still pay instead of obtaining a freebie! I have been paying for the past ± 6 months and I have not used any of those vouchers as it is of no interest to me. This is a scam, it is unethical for this company to rip off a lot of people, PLEASE PUT AN END TO IT as more victims will fall into their web.
Please help me cancel this membership as I am a single mother and I do not receive any Child Maintenance for my 13 year old daughter, her father is unemployed. It would be highly appreciated!

Termination of 12month contract
I have a contract with Amazing vouchers and before they could begin deducting the monthly subscription i had called in to tell them that i want to cancel everything. One of the consultants told me to send an email telling him that he will draft a letter. i sent the email and he dod not state that i want to cancel my subscription with amazing vouchers. They did not deduct the money the first month, but then in the second month they deducted the monthly subsrciption amount. When i called in again to tell them that i want to cancel my subscription the consultant told me there was nothing she can do because i have a 12 month contract and she told me that the only thing she can do is reduce the monthly premium from R195 to R120. It's impossible that they can not cancel the contract.
Please assist.
I also have the same problem with the amazing voucher I should say they are the scams because I entered a Rimmel competiion online the following day tey phoned me and told me that I have won the cosmetics hamper, the next they asked was my bank account cos they have to deduct and access fee so that I will receive my hamper, I didn't have my bank account with me, the next day they called I gave never read any contract with me, in after a month they call me than that lady that called me did explain everything and I wanted to cancel the contract she told me I can't, I was told u rather take the vacation vouher f which I did not like as well and they now deducting 300 in my account I am not happy about that cos I never sign any contract with u guys u r just frauding us, can u please cancel the contract because I don't want it .

When you joined Amazing Vouchers, the sales agent explained to you that you were joining as a 12 month member. She also explained that you would have a 5 day cooling off period in which to cancel should you not be totally satisfied with our product.
You have never logged onto our website, or downloaded any of our vouchers so you don't know anything about our product. A product that you enthusiastically agreed to buy.

After taking a look at what everybody had to say and about this company I decided to cancel my subscription within my 5day cooling off period, as soon as I called them they had 3 different consultants calling me to persuade me to change my mind, some told me I couldn't cancel without a valid reason, hello.! I don't need a 'valid' reason it's my money that I worked hard for and which has nothing to do with you!

So I woke up this morning to find R195 withdrawn from my account by debit order after I had been told that my subscription has been canceled!
I had spoken to many people but only remember Brandon who told me I was unsubscribed, after calling them this morning I was told that they needed a bank statement in order to see that there had been a transfer.. Such idiots clearly they were able to see I was an active user (even after I was told I was not) and that I had arranged for the debit order to go off on the 25th, WHY DO THEY STILL NEED PROOF!?
After asking to speak to the manager they(Justin) wouldn't put me through, basically I was told to either send the bank statement or wait till next week Friday (4/09) for my money. Listen carefully "MY MONEY".
I had to call them using my airtime and now I must pay to get to the bank!

I've been trying to cancel mine since August 2009. But they keep on taking my money. I haven't even used a voucher. yes i printed one, becuase you have to to be able to get the contact details of the company. but when i phoned to make the appointment, The number did not exist. So after more than a year they have been deducting R195, R295 and this morning R305 from my account every month, sometimes even twice a month.
And when you complain about it they have all kinds of excuses!

They offer vouchers ok, but they forgot to mention that their beauty vouchers are for whites only and they don't take into consideration where you reside. How do they expect you to travel +_ 70 km to claim a voucher. I believe this company is a scam and they don't have any happy clients.

My name is nadia i was very excited when i got a call from amazing vouchers to hear the fantastic vouchers they have for only r195.oo you get r3000.00 worth of vouchers ranging from beauty products to pets... well what a load of bull... oh yes they do have all these vouchers, but you only have access to these vouchers if u have internet and believe me this is not the the first thing they tell you... anyway lucky for me i have access at work... and all the vouchers are all unknown shops, parlous etc... and once u have printed this big page called a voucher from the net you must phone and make an appointment for them to see you and they can only see you when they have the time not you... An agent of amazing vouchers has been calling me and telling me to join amazing vouchers, i was about to give them my banking detail sotha R195 can be deducted. Thank God i decided to check whether amazing vouchers is not a scam. I NEARLY BECAME ONE OF THEIR VICTIM.

What they say is not what you get!
I joined up with Amazing Vouchers with the understanding that I would be given access to vouchers worth R3000.00 per month for a small subscription of R189.00 per month. The nice sales man told me I wouldn’t even pay a cent to redeem these vouchers. I have the recorded conversation. I got a rude awaken the day I got my membership number, only to discover that in order to use these vouchers one would have to make use of their selected service provider, pay for a service first. Tell me this is not a scheme, and from today on I will believe am worse than stupid. Sadly am not the only one that has been taken for a ride, I know some other people that have been robbed. I tried to cancel the membership but they insist am bond to a contract. They have not fulfilled their side of the contract but they still insist on taking my money every month. Unfortunately for them I can’t take this laying down am taking legal action.

I joined amazing vouchers and the agreement was that they will deduct R150 from my account, to my surprise R220 was deducted from my account when I never even made use of their so called vouchers..And please give me my money back...I didn't even get a SMS or an E-mail nothing..

They refuse to cancel the subscription and fraudulently debiting my account now there are failed debitr order bank fee on my account everyday for the unauthorized debit and they refuse to refund for the bank charges its been happening for 2 years and they refuse to remove it
I have been pro Amazing Vouchers after reading all the bad things said about them I thought it was going to be impossible to cancel but they were very freindly and helpful speak to Michelle she assisted me. Goodluck.
