Damaged product, no reply to complaints
Ordered an expensive kitchentool. Product came in quite fast. After opening product appeared to be slightly damaged.
First contact by mail went well. After sending pictures heard nothing anymore, no answering mails and not able to contact by phone. Tried for two days to call and only got disconnected after 10-20 minutes.
Desired outcome: Replace product

No update on the bellow. Still waiting for missing part of my sofa being delivered to my place. They said they will do it, but unfortunately it's not easy to believe they will deliver the missing part.
Here's my story.
Ambiente direct messed order, and I have partially received all the parts to assemble my sofa and I have received twice the same part.
Not solve since three weeks.
Bought a sofa - Order AB00421802
1. Delivery - Logistic Provider DHL delivered downstairs. Sofa-Package is 100 kgs heavy.
How do I put my sofa upstairs? This logistic conditions were not mentioned anywhere while buying. DHL replied that this is not because of the Corona Virus situation, but due to the logistic contract conditions between Ambiente Direct and DHL.
2. Sofa - Splitback Frej Package is devided in 3 Boxes. I received twice the same box, and I'm missing the box with the Rest arm support. I cannot assamble the sofa and I have doubled the sitting part.
- No Answer from Customer Service since a week
- They ask to send an email to open a case to solve the issue, they never find such email.
- I had to pay 250 CHF Customs, I hope I won't have to pay again customs once they send the missing part of the sofa.
If no answer, my company will report Ambiente Direct to the official customer complaint office of Germany.

Contacted customer service on July 17th 2019 for replacements, package then shipped to incorrect address (in Ireland)
Contacted customer service on July 25th to reroute package to correct address in the UK, but was told not possible
Contact customer service on Aug 22 for refund on cost of shipping (sending package from Ireland to the UK), was told NO

zanotta sofa
I wanted to buy a Zanotta William sofa, & Ambiente Direct were a bit cheaper than getting it in the UK & were advertising on google UK.
But then I was told by our local dealer that we needed special UK fire retardant foam in the UK & it was illegal to bring in a sofa without it. Our standards are different to the rest of Europe & we cant use all the same fabrics either (need to be 75% natural fibres).
I emailed Ambiente Direct & they told me that it was in European foam & that was ok for the UK - which is absolutely not true. If I bought it I would be breaking the law, even if it was just for my home. They are advertising cheaper products because they dont pay more for that foam & not telling UK customers they need it. In fact they are telling them they DONT need it.
I forgot to add, if I am caught I am the one who would be breaking the law as Im the 'importer'. It could easily void my home insurance & if theres ever a fire I could be sued. If it was for a business then its even worse. They should not be allowed to sell these products without meeting UK standards & Im betting the average person has no idea what the situation is.
sofa I bought with delivery time 3 weeks, 7 weeks have passed and no news
I have ordered and paid a sofa in AmbientDirect on January 20th. (#1171424) The delivery time stated was 3 weeks. 5 weeks after, I had no news from them. I emailed them and they said The manufacturer was delayed and that I should have it in The following month... I am becoming worried (now 7 weeks have passed) and I do not think This is a profissional, trustworthy website. If I log on and go to my Order it is stated that it has been already delivered (?!). I would like to know if I am protected and can recover my money. How this company is still operating with so many bad reviews?
Terrible customer service, they should fire people or maybe management
I keep complaining about this company. The service is a disaster. Calls that are international are being disconnected, emails no answered in time, cancellations not allowed. And i can keep going. I have been emailing with and has not helped even once. The people over the phone have no access to the data of your order or the log of former calls, email threads etc. Its useless to call them and email them because they say different things. I have no idea if its just terrible employees or the management itself that oversees all. Its a terrible company

seller still hasn't sent information about delivery
I bought wardrobe and table set from www.ambientedirect.com. The colour of wardrobe was white with red chests and the table set was light brown. I got the confirmation from the seller. I received the email that they would confirm the delivery time and would send the tracking number. After this email, I heard completely nothing from the company. I called and left messages, but the company kept silence. Any ideas what to do next? Please, help me.

My experience on the website www.ambientedirect.com turned to be real nightmare. I ordered 2 beds with the mattresses and large set of coffee maker. I paid in advance for the order, because they provided the discount in amount of 5%. After that I did nothing from the seller. I called them and sent emails, because I didn’t want to leave the problem. Finally, I got the email from the seller, who asked me about the coffee maker. It was unavailable. I replied and asked about the other stuff. No reply.

I placed the order on the website www.ambientedirect.com. I placed the order on March, 23. After that I head completely nothing from the seller. I was so shocked and tried to reach this scammer in every imaginable way. The seller scammed me, but I have no idea how to get money from these thieves. Maybe someone can help or has the same problems with this seller. This company must be stopped. They are thieves and liars.

I ordered furniture for just over €3200 on 23rd April 2015 and paid by bank transfer the same day to benefit from the 3% discount for payment in advance. I received an order confirmation. Since that time I have received another invoice for the same goods requesting payment again. I have called the customer service number, the french hotline number, the public relations number all multiple times, and nobody has ever answered. I have emailed you multiple times. No answer beyond an automated acknowledgement.
The only way I have managed to elicit a response so far is to post the above on a complaints site similar to this (trust pilot) which ambientedirect.com appears to monitor.

I already complained on another site and I will keep on doing it everywhere. If I don't get my furniture this week I will take legal steps. I payed more then 2000 euro, 2 months ago and still no news! I got 1 e-mail after a public complaint and then silence AGAIN! They apologized, promised me to send my order and send an e-mail when it's sent, but silence AGAIN after that mail. REALLY? I'M SHOCKED HOW THEY CAN GENT AWAY WITH THIS. Do not order from this website. They took over 9 months to fill my order for a Tuuci umbrella, stand and cover. The customer service is basically non-existent. I called many times, was on hold for an hour, then disconnected. This happened over and over again. The turnover in the customer service department must be high as when I finally got responses, they were most often from different people. They are full of excuses and lack professionalism. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. They lied to me too often. They are not believable.

Ambientedirect.com advertises lighting at prices far, far below all other websites. I mistakenly fell for this scam and sent them over $12, 000 before looking online for reviews about this company. They are very difficulty to get through to by phone, just on hold for 10-15 minutes at international calling rates and pick up only 1 of 10 times. Never respond to emails. When do pick up phone, give excuses and stalling, but never refund money. I requested return of funds next business after placing my order. I have called everyday for 2 weeks and still reply on whether I can get a refund. I have serious doubts that they can fill my order, so I wanted a refund. Now I fear I will not get either refund or merchandise.

I ordered a Kartell Combonibili design storage unit from this site. The company is based in Germany. Their website and ordering process assured me that I would receive an efficient, quick service, and that the item would be shipped immediately. Two weeks later I received an email saying that it had been delayed, and the new delivery date was 5 December. I could track delivery through their carrier's website (DHL) (which I did). Two days later the item had not left Germany. After 5 days, it was in transit. On the Monday of the following week I learned from the tracking that it was in the depot in the UK (it didn't say where) and would be delivered that day. Naturally, I was out. No note was left and the website just said that my item had been returned to the depot and was 'awaiting instructions from the sender'. I tried to track it down via DHL but they said it was nothing to do with them, they were just a third party carrier. Since then I have emailed Ambiente for the last three days, asking for the location of my order. The only reply I got was that I could go and pick it up from 'the next post office'. I replied explaining just how many post offices there are in Edinburgh and that, in any case, I didn't think it would be there: did they mean a DHL depot? I have asked them with increasing desperation for the location of my item. I have had no reply, despite emailing at least three times a day. Each time, I have to start a new query and get an automated reply, but nothing after that. I have paid £65 for an item that I have not received, and the company obviously couldn't care less. I have repeatedly requested a phone number so I can make my own arrangements about redelivery, or even drive miles to try and collect it - but I don't know where the item is being held. I have never encountered such rude, careless, inefficient service.

I ordered a chair and a sofa. I was told the chair was avaible on 1/13/2013 but I would have to wait untill 2/09/2013 for the sofa. I was shipped the floor model of the chair and now I have to store it for a month for them. I can't use it and risk damaging it farther I should have ordered from a more honest business

- Customer service is a shame (no answer, extra long delivery time - the ones announced are fake ones, you should count in weeks starting from 4 and expect to do that in month, no call back)
- Worst, the make mistake in the delivery (wrong reference) and then DON'T PAY YOU BACK THE COST OF THERE ERROR : i wanted to buy a Classicon Satyr Chair for 1890 €. They kept 100 € out of it, i suspect for transportation costs for there part but i never had any feed back

Do not order anything with AmbienteDirect.com, you have been warned! I should of Google'd them and read all the complaints. I placed an order with ambientedirect.com for a desk lamp. The delivered lamp was not the product ordered. The arms of the desk lamp are gloss black and the base is chrome. Obviously, the people they have working for them can't see the big label on boxes saying "black" on one box and "Chrome" on another box. Maybe they just can't read. I have tried to email and telephone ambientedirect.com several times, but they have failed to reply even once. Their UK hot-line number is just a recording with no one at the other end. Terrible company, poor service and frankly they should not be allowed to trade online!
I also had a big problem with Ambiente Direct. A table ordered in December was eventually delivered in February - but was damaged. Several months of e-mailing and phone calls failed to produce a replacement and I finally cancelled the order. As I had paid with a credit card, I was able to recover the amount paid but have wasted many months and still don't have a table. Beware of Ambiente Direct!
