We walked into an America's best value inn in Helen Ga. to see if they had a room available. The lobby smelled so bad of cigarette smoke. None the less we booked a room because they were almost out last resort in our price range. When to the room and was shocked to see the condition of the room. Very disappointed that you would let this hotel represent your corporate name. I did request a refund and was told she would process it in the morning because if she did it then it would mess up her paper work. I told her that was not acceptable and asked for corporate number and continued to press her she did refund my card. This really does not give me confidence in trying the Americans best value inn in the future. Just thought you would like to be informed. We checked in on6/152019 the toilet overflowed and [censored] water ran out onto the carpet wecould not switch rooms the toilet will not flush. I had 2 rooms reserved since january 2019 in omaha ne starting on jun 14 thru june 16 for my family. We traveled today to that room from out of state to find that hotel closed. I received no notification letting me know. I spent 2 hours looking for another hotel which i found one for only 1 night and a very much higher cost. I am very much displeased with this and would like to report my disatisfaction.
My family and i reserved 2 rooms at americasbestvalueinn in omaha ne in january 2019 for june 14 to 16th. We traveled there today to find out the hotel is closed. We had to search for 2 hours and could only find one hotel for 1 night for a higher price. I am very dissatisfied as i was never notified about this.

I was told that I need to put a deposit of $50 down because I am a black woman that wears dark makeup, and it's leave a stain on the pillow sheets or towels. That's basically saying that if you're black with dark skin you're not allowed to stay in our hotels without given an extra fee. I've been wearing the same makeup for over three plus years and know for a fact that it washes out in the wash. If they are washing properly, then why would I be charged an extra fee because my makeup is dark?

I was overcharged by this hotel. I booked through Hotwire and the hotel billed my card! I understand that mistakes happen, however the way that this has been handled has proved to be the worst customer service I have ever seen. I have worked in Customer Service and my calls were recorded, if I had spoken to a customer the way the manager Sara spoke to me I would have been fired. It has now been over a week since our stay in the hotel and I have yet to receive my refund. Also when I asked to speak to the owner I was told that he doesn't want anyone knowing who he is. If you run a reputable business you would be proud for people to know. I am shocked at the treatment I have received, and all for an issue that could have been a quick fix.

So we checked into the americas best value inn in helen GA Friday 5/31 around 6pm. We had used booking.com too make reservations for a non smoking king room for 2 nights. We were not expecting all the bills and whistles but we were still expecting a nice stay...
So first thing was when we were given our total it was 150 or so and I asked if that was for 2 nights and it was only for one, easily corrected and not a big deal. We get our key and go too the room and it turned out too be a twin bed room, once again no big deal and easily corrected by management. We go to the king room, insert our key card and the light turned green and the handle would turn but the door would not open. We go and find the employee and also find the maintenance gyy. He said yeah you probably got too give it a little kick. He went with us too the room and sure enough a little kick opened the door. I looked at the door jamb and it was very beat up and obviously the problem. We get into our room, noticed the smell of cigarettes an there is cigarette ashes on the love seat. We were tired and Also ready too enjoy helen si we overlooked it and let that go. Later that night when we played down we noticed cigarette burns on the comforter. This was not a pleasant at all experience for us staying at this hotel.
Like I said for the price I was not expecting top of the line or all the bells and whistles, just a decent hotel and hotel room. We didnt go with the cheapest option for a reason.

I check in May 21st Room 105 in Romulus, Michigan. I asked for an 3:30am wakeup call and the airport shuttle at 4:30am. I recieved the wakeup call as I come out my room to catch the shuttle I was told by the driver he was full I tried to discuss with him I asked for the 4:30am shuttle because my flight leaves at 5:45am, he wasn't listening and left. I spoke with attendant she called him informed to come back he didn't until 5am. I missed my flight I call the hotel informed the attendant. She said she would inform the manager. I was at the airport for over 5 hours before the next flight. In total I called 4 times to get no resolution only recited policy that wasn't given to me at check in. I suffered the from their mistake and lack of communication. I was scheduled to stay another night however cancelled and stayed somewhere else.

Our hotel room is unacceptable. The sheets have yellow stains, curtains have dirty water marks, the carpet is dirty, the chair is dirty. The walls are even dirty and not to mention the heater is old and rusty...we paid over $100 for this room.. What a joke. You need to get new furniture and more outlets. All the manager offered us was to switch rooms..ok it's late, and we aren't moving all our [censored]. Thats so inconvenient..sp what are you going to do about this. And also charging $170/night because there's an event this weekend. I don't know who would pay $170 for a room that looks like ours.

Check in and there were drunks hanging out in the lot. Left and came back to no parks in the lot where rooms are located. Lobby door chained shut and we were asked for pymt again. Then we were told we would have to walk around bldg. with our belongings and 3 small children and we had a midnight curfew. Room smelled, linen was stained and not changed during our stay. Sink stayed backed up. Notified Booking.com and they were placed on hold by hotel so long they disconnected call. No one expressed any apology or showed any concern for this matter. A couple of months ago I stayed at the Best Value Inn in Pt Jefferson, NY for a couple of days, when I had to leave suddenly due to a family emergency. The desk clerk was kind enough to give me a card with a $50 credit. There was NO written or otherwise indicated that I was only able to use such credit Sundays thru Thursdays. I stayed there last night Friday 5/25 & when I presented the card with the $50 credit, it was refused. I would hope that this will be taken care of & $50 be returned to my credit card ! fraud in pricing, nasty room, and nasty staff
I spent a night at the America's Best Inns & Suites in Murfreesboro TN. It was May 15th, 2019.
First, they had a sign advertising rooms for $42. That is why I stopped there. When the desk clerk told me they don't have any rooms for that price, and that is just an old sign, I should have moved on. But I was tired from driving all day.
I asked for a non-smoking room, and while it did not have any ash trays in the room, the place smelled like a 30 year old bar & latrine.
The bathroom floor was dirty. The shower was dirty.
I found potato chips between the top sheet and bottom sheet. Pretty clear indication someone didn't change the sheets.
I got my sleeping bag from the car and slept in it on top of the bed.
Never again. America's Best has lost all my future custom.

Me and my wife 3 kids got a room there Monday night because our lights was off for a couple nights so we had room121 and it was nasty had hair in the tub and sink sheets had brown stains on them nothing was wiped or cleaned so we called up front and told so she said let us try room 125 we looked at it thought it was better and the sheets was brown as well and it had clothes in the bathroom behind the door like the room never been clean if we had another choice we would had left but we didn't so the next morning we checked out and we ask could we get a refund because we didn't like our stay and they refused so we ask for corporate number you know all I ask was for my 73.00 that's all we had I don't want to go tell other people about you establishment i had my kids with me and we got lucky and found somewhere so please don't make me get my lawyer for 73.00 my name is Tim and my number is [protected]

This January I stayed at a Americas Best Value Inn In Anchorage Ak Paid cash and also paid a cash deposit while staying at the hotel another person did join me but he also checked out before me he had his name added to the room so upon check out they refused to return my deposit until we could both be there he has moved out of state last I heard I have no way of reaching him have tried multiple time to get my deposit back with no luck the owner just screams at me when ever time I have tried which is very embarrassing and my most recent attempt the lady at the hotel refused to even give me her name please help me just get back money that is mine Thank you Sauhna Cranston [protected] [protected]@hotmail.com
rude front desk attendant at st. charles location
I had called hotel.com, who I booked though, they contacted the hotel in st Charles (America's best value) and requested that I can get early check in. When I called the front desk to confirm, the front desk attendant (Lisa), refused to even check on the computer if she had any rooms available. She refused to even answer my question as to if the whole hotel was booked out. I understand a hotel can't always give you early check in, but she didn't even attempt to help me, and was really rude to me, even though I was just asking a normal thing, to check in early, if I can. I'm a nice person, and it upsets me that she was so rude to me for no reason. I understand it's a hard job, but no reason not to at least attempt to help a guest who is paying a lot of money and staying there for 4 days.

employee behaviour made us uncomfortable
My sister and I had a reservation at Americas Best Value Inn in Russellville, AR. When we arrived, there was no one in the lobby. After a minute or so, a man came out of the back room and said, "Woooo, two ladies! That comment made us so uncomfortable about staying at that hotel that we were not able to sleep. The next morning we decided to check out even though we had paid for 3 more nights. The hotel would not give us a refund, and we had to pay for 3 more nights at a different hotel. I would like to be refunded for the 3 nights we were not able to stay at this hotel. This was sexual harrassment and I will never again stay at an Americas Best Value Inn!

Me, my mom, my dad, my little brother and my boyfriend are currently living at the Americans best value inn on 4546 Hartley bridge road Macon ga 31216 there is a man named rosendo that runs the place and is treating all of us unfairly he put us in the way back of the hotel where it was once infested with rats & fleas well till this day there are still rats running around in my room and in my parents room also we've asked them to please fix some stuff in our room and they still haven't my sink is still leaking, we have no phone, my AC unit is spitting out water and I have black mold growing in my toilet after I cleaned it we've also asked for a new microwave because the one we had sparked on my mom and now they won't give us a new microwave also they don't do house keeping on our side because like they told my mom that he put us on the other side because we're low lives he cusses at my mom and stole at least over 2, 000 dollars out of her social security card there treating us unfairly and basically having us live like prisoners where we can't even call our family because their rats chewed our phone cord now they won't give us another one we need something done asap were being treated completely wrong
We haven't had towels, soap nothing not even room service. This place needs to get shut down
