america's best value in crescent city
Room reeked of Dog urine, beds sunk in the middle. Worse 2 nights of my life I couldn't enjoy the 4th of July festivities because I could barely walk because of the beds uncomfort. The sink didn't drain, was clogged took a night to get water to go down. The room was really muggy and since there was no air conditioning I peed the window. The window didn't have a screen on it which in turn filled room with mosquitoes. So that was a fun treat being ate up by mosquitoes all night in a room that you couldn't take a real breath in because of the stench and in an uncomfortable bed I couldnt sleep in.

I called to cancel reservations. I was not informed that I would be charged the amount for the room for a night. I need that money. The guy on the phone said okay i can take care of that. He did not tell me I would be charged. I was told that no one would be able to help until tomorrow. I need the money back before then. The guy hung up the phone. I then checked my bank account and noticed $68.48 was missing. I was not aware of that policy and I really need that money so if you could refund me that would be great.

After checking out, I noticed I left my expensive sweater in my room. When I called, the guy did not care and said they had no lost and found and to call back the next day and speak to housekeeping. I asked if there was a lost and found and they said no which was strange. Housekeeping denied they took it, but they did. When I called the next day, the guy said he just looked and nothing was there and that no one stayed in there after me. The housekeepers were the only ones to go in there after me. It was a huge brand new red sweater so they took it and denied taking it. There are no repercussions for stealing my item. This is stolen property. I asked to speak to the manager the first day and he wasn't there. The second day I went in to the motel and the manager wasn't there and I left him a note with my number and said to call me ASAP. He never called, so I called them and asked to speak to the manager again and he didn't want to talk to me, so then I said he can't refuse to speak to me and then he finally got on the phone. I told him I will file a police report and he said go ahead. I need to be reimbursed at minimum because someone who worked at the motel stole my item.

Hello and thank you for listening to my very legitimate complaint. My name is William Coonrod and I have stayed a few times at your Loudon Tn. Location. A few weeks ago I rented a room at the aforementioned location and my television didn't work. I called for help and a very grumpy and disgruntled maintenance man showed up to help. He obviously didn't want to help and I could hear the middle eastern owner tell him on the CB radio that it was our fault and he was sick of customers screwing up the TVs. We had just checked in and didn't have time to "Screw up" the Tv. The grumpy maintenance man complained about him and to ignore his accusations. After fiddling with the Tv an hour we told him to just leave it on the one channel that worked. He could have moved us immediately- the hotel was nearly empty. We settled with the one unchangeable channel and moved on. We had just undressed and got into bed when the same maintenance man burst into the room unannounced startling us. He apologized and said "sorry wrong room". It was rather strange since we were the only renters on that floor. Ok so the next day we left at 11 because we were refused a late check out. A few weeks later we returned because it's the closest place to our destination. When we walked in we were refused service. The owner and the maintenance man began yelling at us! Screaming that they had the right to refuse service to anyone who gives them an unfavorable review! We couldn't believe it! All we wrote was a true factual account of what really occurred and we were banned. Its unacceptable and my wife and I shouldn't be yelled at and refused for being honest. Our family and friends are shocked and this is clearly not a hospitable place to stay. You have the power to rectify this and we sincerely hope you do.
reservation not honored
I made a reservation through Booking.com for Americas Best Value Inn in Kelso, WA. Date of reservation was June 5, 2019. Date of stay was June 15, 2019. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 PM after assisting another motorist with a flat tire. The clerk informed me the hotel was full and my reservation "didn't exist". He referred me to other area hotels which were also full. I drove to another town with 3 young children to pay twice as much for a different hotel. I came back the following day, June 16, 2019, to complain. The same clerk was at the desk and took my contact information to give to his manager. I haven't heard anything back as of today, June 24, 2019. I would love to see your company at least reimburse me for the extra I had to pay at a different hotel - $75.
dirty room/bugs
I recently stayed at one of these hotels in Phillipsburg NJ Saturday the 22nd into the 23rd. When I got home that evening I started to see red bumps on my body. After inspecting myself, I found a couple clusters of these bites. I did not have them before arriving and they are certainly not mosquito bites (my bites are under where I was wearing clothing and are swollen/clusters of 5 or more in one spot). The hotel itself is in a disgusting location, garbage and food outside in the lot. Empty beer cans and old clothing laying around. There were stains on the carpets and the room itself was subpar. The staff were terrible. They said they wouldn't even have a room ready by 3pm; my check in time. They said they were too busy, but upon arrival there were approximately 6 cars in the lot. I also expect my room to be ready at the time I'm allowed to check in. I would like someone to contact me further so I can discuss this with higher ups.
the cleanliness of the room and the rash that followed
My wife and I Stayed at the Webster City, IA hotel and we had to ask for our room to be recleaned. The bathtub was covered in what looked like candle wax and the substance the jacuzzi was covered in came off black and sticky. We stayed and then checked out. Now 9 hours after being checked out we have very itchy red rashes all over our body. We are asking for a refund of our money due to these two incidents.

On April 17, 2019 I stayed for a week at America's Best Value Inn at Sallisaw, Ok. For the entire week I was there the hotel never noticed that they never charged my account but instead issued a refund without any charge. This placed a restriction on my prepaid card account because they don't allow a refund without a charge. I contacted the hotel manager and told them what the card company told me when I realized what happened. They either needed to reverse the refund in thier computer system or send in a letter of indemnity to receive there money back. I was told, "that's your problem" by the woman who answered the phone. She fully understood that I never paid for the week and that they refunded that amount to my account, missing that from their books as well. I am unable to pay for the week I was never charged for until they fix what they messed up. I have almost $2000 on that card that I am in desperate need of being that I have an 8 month old child and another one on the way. My cellphone service has been turned off and I'm about to have to cancel insurance on my car.

I checked into the the Amercias Best Value Inn in Three Rivers Michigan on Saturday 06/15/19. Never even entered the hotel room. Shortly after we decided we did not want to stay. Young lady at the front desk says "No problem" takes key back and cancels the room. 06/19/19 the $54 is taken out of my account. I immediately called and inquired about this canceled payment. I was told that it would be refunded and that they were aware that I never stayed in the hotel. Was advised that someone would call me back. Never received a call. Called back and was told "He" (The manager) would be processing the refund. 06/20/19 still no call or refund. Called and was told "she" (the general manager) would most likely not be coming in today and would come in tomorrow which is Friday the 21st, and she would process it then. Totally does not take days to process a refund. All I want is a refund for the room that I never used!

I stayed at the America Best Value Inn on June 17th 2019 at Helena Montana.I stayed in room 110. I was in the bed closest to the washroom and my friend was in the bed by the window. I woke up in the morning covered in bed bug bites, But didn't notice until I was down the highway. My friend did not get any bites. I do feel you need to deal with this matter of debugging the place. I would also like a refund for the inconvenience.

hotel room 208
We stayed at the Goodlettsville location June 14-18th. We reserved online and they had everything screwed up. Once we finally got to room 208 the sheets were stained. One bed had a blanket the other did not. The toilet tank top was broken and replaced with an oversized top. The shower was unfinished. While staying there the third day my wife wakes with a multitude of bites. Turns out it's bed bugs and we had to get medication and upon returning home she had to go to a doctor and now has 5 prescriptions.
I asked for someone to contact me regarding my complaint. Since no one has taken the time to reach out now I will do what I didn’t intend on doing and the next contact you will from me will be through my attorney. He will seek damages for pain and suffering, medical bills, refund and all his cost. Thanks for taking the time. All I wanted was to speak to someone about this

my room is filthy. It has stains on sheets stands on the bedding stains on the floor stains everywhere! I checked in for 3 days I paid $84 a night! My room did not include a mini fridge. My air conditioning does not work. The room is disgusting from the bedding to the curtains I'm very disappointed and I expect a response and a refund! I will be taking this to the Better Business Bureau also the Secretary of State for Minnesota! This place is filthy Macy does not work so the worker at the Hotel offered to give me a fan and which I am still using also there was a hair clip left on the floor and Hare and the hotel room shower! Also no screen in the window very dangerous!

We checked into room 242 in this hotel on Thursday June 13th. The room only had towels for one person, smelled strange, there was no building security, the side door couldn't be locked, there was a sticky spot on the carpet at the foot of the bed. When we asked housekeeping about it on Thursday they said they or the maintenance man would clean it up. When we returned to our room Thursday evening, our keys wouldn't work on the door and needed to be replaced, the sticky spot on the floor hadn't been touched. The next day we again told housekeeping and the desk person about the sticky spot. When we returned to the room, our keys again would not work, the sticky spot was still there, the bed had not been touched, the garbage was still in the garbage can. We complained to the desk and she sent up housekeeping - all the person did was make the bed, no new towels, no cleaning, didn't dump the garbage. I wiped off the table in the room with the single washcloth in the room, and the white washcloth was brown streaked. We did not leave, but stayed the remaining night, the next day even though we had put out the housecleaning please tag on the door absolutely nothing had been touched in the room, the tag had been slid under the door into the room, the keys again would not work and had to be replaced. at that point it was obviously nothing these people would do for us, so we made the bed, and passed the night. We will never again stay in one of Americas best Value Inn.
