Tire installation
they broke two sensors, replace with incompatible ones and sent me on my way without telling me any of this. i had to find out 2 months and 4 visits to them, one to dealer, and then firestone. all because they lied to me from the day they sold me the tires. i have a v8 so driving around because of their lies costed me money. plus 4 of my Saturdays(day off). just a miserable experience. i had to go to firestone to find out they lied about tpms sensers. firestone charged me $280 to fix. i asked America's tire to refund my money. they basically told me to pound sand and blocked me on both of their Facebook pages.
Claimed loss: $2100
Desired outcome: refund $2100

Balance
I bought a set of tires but they did not valance the tires at first. Than I came a second time also they did not revalance my tires. I went there two times after changin my tires but they just rotate the tires put the new tires on the left side and the oldones on the right side. They did not change the valves. Americas Tires at Redwood City has the most terrible service they don't meet the customer needs. The workers are incompetence don't do want you need they do what is easier for than.
Tire replacement /repair
I had a tire replaced on 3/18/23. The tire was special ordered. I didn't notice this until the last few weeks as I have been driving the car more. I kept getting an error message that said 4WD disengaged off balance. I took my Jeep in to get an Alignment at Les Schawb and they told me that one of my tires didn't match. So, I head to Americas Tire's where...

I bought insurance for my 2017 Honda Pilot original tires at Americas Tire while they have 11k miles on them. I brought it for repair of one tire on 11/23/2021 for a small piece of metal imbedded on a thread which I thought was fixed. In the preceding months I noticed that one tire is losing pressure, not much, but enough for the system to alert me of the...

I had ordered 4 wheels 4 rims and all the accessories that were needed for the wheels and rims and my choice of colour of the rims was black and i ordered same black coloured lugs and nuts but at the time of installation they told me that they are short of black lugs, so they told me to wait till they order it and now it has been over a month and no one is helping me and today when i called they made me an appointment. Now my car is in the bay and they are telling me that they don’t have the lugs even when my car is in the bay and they wasted my whole day of work and now what should i do, should i call my credit card company for this or should i file a report for this bad behavior of the employees. I also feel like as I am from a different country, so it could be a racism act and if it is I am surely going forward with this.
Grievance of tire replacement
On 3/6/2023 at 5:30PM, the store failed to keep my old tire when I wanted to take a look at the two nails that were punctured. At 2:53PM, a store salesman called me to ask if I wanted to perform a tire replacement because the tire was no longer repairable. I agreed with the replacement, but I also wanted to take a look at where the nails were found and located. The salesman said he could not take a picture at that moment and asked if I wanted to come in person and take a look at the tire myself. I agreed and said I would come in person to take a picture. But when I arrived at 5:30PM, the tire was already cycled and no longer in the store. I was very upset and asked the assistant manager Calros to show me the record notes of where the two nails were located, the assistant manager could not show the notes nor the picture of the nails locations in the old tire. I am here to file a grievance to record this incident. Please advise how we can resolve this issue. Feel free to contact me via mobile phone or email. Thank you very much for reading my grievance.
Desired outcome: Want compensations.
Wheel locks
So I went in for tire rotation they said it was done when I get there they said my key for my tire locks was stripped I said really this is the only place I take my car he said did you do your breaks that was two years ago so I go to the neighborhood tire place they got it off charged me ten dollars I gave him twenty he did it right away then I had him rotate the tires because I don’t trust America’s tires anymore you can see America’s tires just put the key in the air gun didn’t lock in right and stripped it horrible
Customer service
After today, I don’t think I’ll ever purchase any tires from this company. It’s very unfortunate because I’ve only purchased all my household cars tires through this company, and I’ve referred family and friends but not after today. A worker and a supervisor treated me like a child and made me feel like I was naive. I’m a woman, but I know a thing or two about tires. My husband confirmed some aspects of the problem that arose when we took one of our cars in for tire rotation and balancing. I had to confirm with him since he was with me and I don’t want to call them a liar like they insinuated towards me today. So he stated that Americas tires indicated that they couldn't fix a tire with a nail due to the thread of the tire because it would be a liability to America's tire and the manufacturer wouldn't cover the tire because the tread was not below the required thread scale. So they tried to prorate my tire life and sell us another set of tires for over $500. However, the tire has a 70,000 mile warranty, and according to Americas Tires, we have only used the tires 34,000 miles, leaving us with 35,000 or so miles left on the warranty. They stated that they were unable to obtain a warranty from Hancook because the tires did not have the required thread. I then suggested calling them, and they even gave me the Hancook customer phone number. To make matters worse, when I spoke with Hancook, they told me that I couldn't make a complaint or file a warranty replacement directly, that Americas Tire would have to follow the protocol. I was surprised because they should have told me that but they made it seem like I would get somewhere if I called them directly! SMH! In any case, it is what it is! Customers have the right to expect to receive what they have paid for. I purchased tires that should have provided us with a 70,000 mile warranty, but they did not, and Americas Tire should do everything possible to advocate for their valued customers. At the end of everything the Americas tires Supervisor tried to ask me if we get you that one tire when will this end!? I stated until Hancook’s promised 70,000-mile warranty! So he continued to offer me a 50% discount on another Hancook tire. I was exhausted and drained, so I told him I didn't need his pity and that I could pay for a new tire and that he could call me when it arrived at his store. By the way, he said, I'll just give you the tire. SMH! whatever! I did my research and discovered that Costco tires offer better tire prices. I don't know how I missed this!? For over 20 years, I've been a Costco customer! There's more to this story, but I'm tired, and I'll never do business here again, as the supervisor indicated, “I don't need to repeat the fact that I've purchased tires for five different vehicles at Americas Tires because we passed that point!” wow!
Desired outcome: Nothing! I’m done I don’t care!
Defective wheel - never offered warranty. Also rude/unprofessional employee named ty

In 2020 I purchased a Toyo tire and rim from the Cathedral City store with the intent of using it for a spare if needed. I never had to use said tire. When I returned to that same store on 10-13-22 to purchase new tires, I explained to the gentlemen checking me in, that because the I never used the spare tire, I wanted to have this tire added to 3 new tires and have them placed on my car. I also asked they save the best, old tires for a spare. This way I would have 4 new tires on the car. The three tires that I purchased at this time was Falken Pro 05 Touring A/S. When I asked the tech if having a different tire then the Toyo I brought in would give me a weird ride, he told me it wouldn’t. I paid $470.64 for the three tires.
On Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1922, while I was on trip in Orange County (approx. 110 mile from home) my tire was punctured on the freeway. Because of the time of night, I had no choice but to have my tire repaired at Goodyear Tire in Tustin, Ca. After removing the tire, I tech at Goodyear told me he didn’t feel repairing the tire was safe because of the wear on the tire. When I looked at the tire, I found that the tire was one of the Toyo tires that was supposed to be replaced and that it hadn’t been replaced by the spare tire that I provided. I then had to pay $139.32 for a new tire from Goodyear. When I got home I checked the spare tire that I had and it was the spare tire that I provided and that was suppose to go on my car. When I returned to the store and explained my story to the Manager, Josh, he said he didn’t understand what I was telling him. I them repeated the story to him 3 more times. Each time he said “I don’t understand what you’re telling me.” What kind of guys do you running your stores. I then left the store very frustrated and determined that I would not do business with America’s Tire again. Even though I purchased several tires over the past 5 years and recommended America’s tires to Friends.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of $139.32 for the tire I had to purchase to replace the tire which shouldn’t have been placed on the car in the first place.
Service
I went online to make an appointment today on your website at Carson City, Nevada. I did not notice that the place that I chose was Carson California it reverted to California because I previously had my son car done in Napa California. The man who assisted and is measuring my tires was very rude. he told me that I would have to wait an hour to an hour and 45 minutes to have my tires balanced and rotated. His attitude was I told you so. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and apparently doesn’t like to serve me. Previously I have had excellent service at Carson City, Nevada discount tire which is America’s Tire . The surface person‘s name is Nathaniel S. My wait time is till 3 PM. My appointment was supposed to be at 1:30. I Purchased these tires here in Carson City, Nevada. They have been an excellent tire. All of my business both in-state and out-of-state has been excellent. Not this time. This was a horrible way to be treated.
Desired outcome: Get this guy some training on how he should treat all customers, whether or not, he likes the way they look or whether or not, they’re female or male.
Free air pressure check
It doesn't seem to matter which location you go to, but there's always a line with ten or more cars in it to get pressure check. And it seems to take an inordinate amount of time per car, so there's without exception a 20-minute wait or more. You get up to your turn, and it seems like they're looking for reasons to do a sales number on you. I understand that, but sometimes people are needing more immediate service such as me right now, when my indicator light is lit and I'm on a time crunch. I don't have time to sit here, no choice since indicator light is on Not sure why they require you to pull into the bay to get your tires checked either. It could be prechecked by having somebody out on the line checking each each car's tires, writing them down OR having a portable pump out there to add pressure as needed. It would be greater customer service and better use of your staff's time to get people in and out expediently.
replacement of new tire
My car had a flat tire and they replaced it with a new one. They left marks on my car. They said they would check all tire pressures but they did not. The low tire pressure icon was still on and I had to drop by a gas station to add more air to all 4 tires. The hub cab for the new tire was not installed correctly and almost came off when I drove home. I am very disappointed with today’s experience at America’s Tire! :(
Desired outcome: The company should have a cross-checking system to ensure that they achieve the high standards that they promise.
where is the customer service you all talk about?!?!?
I had my first bad experience with AMERICA'S TIRE today.
One of my tires popped this morning, and I called the closest America's Tire shop to get a replacement. The tire that I need is a 285/30ZR20 Michelin PILOT SUPER SPORT which cost $375. The Customer Service Manager by the name of Danny advised me that the tires I was looking for were 1, not on my customer profile and 2, discontinued. As you can see, we use your company for tires for our 11 cars. Unfortunately, when I purchased my last set of tires, the information didn’t get recorded in your system, I am unsure if it was a software or human error but none of the less, the information for the purchase is not there. The price for the tires that they did carry are $500 per tire but not the same as the other tires that I have and I only need 1 tire. So, I asked Danny if he was able to help me out with the price seeing that we are returning customers. He advised that he is not able to do anything, but if I find the tires somewhere else for a lesser price, then he will price match. So now I am wondering, if I find the price somewhere else for a lesser price, why on earth would I waste my time driving out of the way to go back to AMERICA'S TIRE when they didn’t even appreciate me as a customer? If I find the tire at a better price, then that place will end up with my business and all 11 cars will be there as well. If you assume all those cars needing tires, then that’s a potential $11,000 that you just let go. All I asked was for some help as a returning and loyal customer on the price since AMERICA'S TIRE discontinued the tire that I need.
Desired outcome: I am hoping that you guys would make things right and match the price that I paid for the original tire of $175.
sorry, typo. The original tire price was $375

Desired outcome: they should reimburse me for everything since they messed up so so bad, and wasted my whole from work
