This is the first negative incident that i've had
I have been a customer since at least 1996, have purchased tires for two other cars that I've owned without incident. Again I purchased 4 tires for my 2003 Nissan Pathfinder on 2/16/07 in Redwood City, Store, 1610 Broadway. Despite the fact that my car took 245/65-17, the sales person told me that the size was out and gave me 265/65-17. He convinced me that...

I've purchased a single tire from America's Tire due to a tire blow out. The brand of this tire is Mohave, which had a 35k mile warranty. At 12k miles, the side wall of the tire had a concave indentation. As a result, I drove over to the place where I've purchased the tire for a replacement. The sales rep went and took a look of my defective tire.
He stated that the tire I've purchased had a 'belt overlap' and that the tire I've purchased was a bottom line tire. I've questioned the sales rep about this belt overlap. I told him this so called, belt over lap is a straight out tire defect--plain and simple, as if I was indeed gullible! He practically totally ignored me as I was walking back to the sales counter as if I was planning to buy another tire replacement.
Okay, I decided to be a civilized customer holding back my animosity and see what the sales rep had to sell me. He tried to sell me a set of tires without honoring my pro rated tire warranty. I will never again patronize this tire company again; and besides, they lack customer empathy towards me. And to think, I was a loyal customer for over 10 years! Shame on them!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

i don't believe they resolved this issue. liars
Employee of American Tires Grant line Tracy California backed my car into another car and they haven’t contact me in a while.
Bought new set of tires a few months ago. Had a problem with one tire pressure, that was fixed and then the pressure sensor light came on and I just got that fixed but they charged me $75.40 for a new one. My problem is they messed up the sensor when they installed the new tires. Invoice number 1900667. It’s the Hammer Lane store in Stockton.
this is typical practice for this company. they broke 2 of mine and didn't tell me they replace with generic incompatible sensors for a 2017 tundra. mine is 2018. they had no clue what they did wrong so they blamed it on my truck. they drug me on for two months wasting my days off dealing with their incompetence. they sent me to dealer and when i came back with what the dealer told me, they told me the dealer doesn't know what they are talking about. the dealer said two sensors are bad, well they pushed me out the door and said i need to fix my truck, and they did everything they can do. idiots. i went to firestone and in 5 min they told me the news and charged me $280 to fix. that's when i found out they lied and broke my sensors on day one, when i spent $2100 on tires. you can see why I'm so pissed. never again will i deal with this company.
