They are simply the cheaters and should not be trusted !

Friends, I am Aries' client. I am a sales executive by profession. Your comments have scared me. My case is handled by them for about 2 years. I am still waiting for some update from the immigration office. My application was submitted in March 2008. Few months ago when i was not getting any update from Aries International, i checked on the internet. I came across some information of change of immigration policy; which affects applications submitted after February 2008. When I asked Aries about my case in this context they said my case was safe; as they have approach to influence immigration office; and they have got soecial arrangmement ofr their cases submitted in 2008. As per them those cases are exempted. I always had a doubt; but after reading your comments I got more cocerned. Since then i am trying to get some update from them but they either don't attend my call; or give me vague stories. I will visit their office soon to get case update.

Dear Himanshu
! am Mathew. I know these immigration fraudsters very well. I have been a victim of their big leader in Dubai. Premiers is the largest of all. I was there cient. Policy change story was given to me as well. They did big 'favour' to me by charing USD 100 for their services and reunded balance of my money. They did not have any right to chrge even USD 1000. These agents are only courier companies. Sending our application to Canada and then giving policy change story and taking our hard earned money. I am after Premiers. I wanyt every one to join me to teach these all immigration agents a lesson.
immigration policy was changed by the Canadain Government. They are to be blamed. Government was heavily criticised. Thousands of applicants got suffered. Many agents ran away. Did not contact the clients. Did not even given a penny back. My agent ran back to Canada. i have lost alot of money.

Immigration Amendment Opposed
Canadian Members of Parliament are being urged by Canadians and by other politicians to vote against to proposed amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. The main concern is that the Conservative party is seeking to much power to close applications that are deemed inconsistent with present labour market requirements. The amendments propose to allow the Immigration Minister to cap the number of applicants in the immigration backlogs and would be able to refuse an application which had already been approved. The Immigration Minister could also make decisions about immigration policy that, under the current system, require regulatory changes.
One Member of Parliament, Olivia Chow, has promised to introduce an amendment to have the immigration proposals removed from the proposed bill. Other groups presently mounting opposition to the amendments include the Chinese Canadian National Council and the Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants.
Jack Layton, the opposition leader of the New Democratic Party (NDP), has stated that the proposed changes to Canada's immigration legislation will be opposed "every step of the way." The changes, which the Minister of Immigration is seeking to help reduce backlogs for applicants worldwide, also contain some provisions which Layton feels is contrary to Canada's history of multi-culturalism.
Layton, promising cross country consultations with community leaders, feels that the issue is significant enough to force an election. His party opposes the principle of encouraging temporary foreign workers over permanent immigrants, and will likely introduce legislation which will annul the changes sought in the present amendments.
Major Changes to Canadian Immigration Act
The major changes made
remove the obligation of Citizenship and Immigration Canada to process all properly submitted applications. The department will now be able to return applications (and refund the corresponding application fees) without processing them.
give the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration the authority to set priorities through ministerial instructions. Prioritizing certain skills and occupations will allow labour market needs in Canada to be addressed more quickly. It will also limit the number of applications that are processed and keep the backlog from growing any larger.
Status of Amendments to Canadian Immigration Act
The amendments to the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Protection Act received Royal Assent on June 18, 2008. Throughout the summer of 2008, the federal government is consulting with provincial and territory governments, and business, industry, labour and non-governmental organizations to define the priorities for immigration. The federal government says it still aims to keep "a balance between the economic, family reunification and refugee protection goals of Canada’s immigration system."
Once the ministerial instructions are defined, they will be published in the Canada Gazette and on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada Web site.
OTTAWA -- With just a handful of Liberal MPs in the House of Commons, the third and final vote on the Conservative government's budget legislation easily passed Monday evening by a tally of 121-95.
The budget legislation, known as Bill C-50, was a confidence matter and, had the government lost the vote, Prime Minister Stephen Harper would have been obliged to ask the Governor General to dissolve Parliament and call a general election.
C-50 also contains a controversial component to reform Canada's immigration system.
The bill changes Canadian immigration law to give the federal minister of citizenship and immigration new powers to fast-track certain groups of potential immigrants. The government has said this provision is required to help reduce the backlog of 925, 000 permanent-residents applications.
Opponents of the bill say the new powers are too vague and will be open to political abuse.
The NDP and Bloc Québécois wanted to force an election on the issue and were upset that nearly 80 Liberal MPs were absent from the House during the vote. The vote on Bill C-50 was the last, best chance to force an election before the House rises for its summer recess which it will do before June 20. NDP and Bloc Québécois MPs were angry at the Liberals for letting that opportunity slip away. The bill passed with 120 Conservative MPs voting in favour and 90 Liberal, Bloc, and NDP MPs voting against.

I talked to Canada about immigrating about 30 years ago, before I went to college, and they told me to take a hike. They've missed out on taxing the millions I've made since and on not paying my medical bills, since I'm rarely ill and don't like to see doctors. I say fine, let them club they're own damn baby seals.

Barry Artiste, I like this story. It's good stuff.
I think the Liberals have it pretty SWEET! Think about it...they get paid the same as MP's who work but they don't really have to do anything. They don't have to show up to vote in favour of legislation; they don't have to show up to oppose any legislation and since they never vote they don't even have to do research because they wont be taking any position at all. Hell any better than that and they will have to get appointed to the Senate!

Hey I'll do ya one better, why have liberals at all, when they sit at home as MPs, and when in the Senate don't show up at all, except to collect their cheques. Thanks for the comments EastVan

I think that your negative comments about immigration consultants is unfair. Yes, the government does have a website, and in a perfect world it would be possible for an applicant to do the application on their own (and many do). However, the process is complicated and involves many tricky components. People get their incomplete applications sent back all the time.
Also, immigration consultants are not all bad people who want to rob people of their money. Many do an initial assessment and only help those people who they think they can. As well, some provide a money-back guarantee.
Your comment about immigration consultants is along the same lines as saying that all Muslims are terrorists. Indescrimintate name-calling is not good for anyone.

Lily, it may seem like I am name calling, but I assure you I do not think all immigration consultants are all bad, just as all lawyers are not all bad, or Muslims or people who ramble their comments on my story.
It is just the ones in the immigrants mother countries who love to screw desperate people out of their life savings. I am never one for name calling. As for tricky components, there is a reason for this. But it is certainly not a complicated process, unless one does not speak either of our official languages, then yes, it is complicated. Just imagine not speaking either of our official languages as many do, and some after Canadian taxpayer sponsored language courses still cannot speak it adequately enough to hold down a job, yet pass an interview, with many ESL teachers having to help or completely fill out the immigrants job applications and resume, giving a prospective employer this applicant has a working knowledge of our language only to find out later they could not even fill out the damn application, but needed help. By then some employers find themselves to recipients of a discrimination lawsuit cause they let that person go, when in fact it had nothing to do with discrimination, but their inability to speak our language. It happens all the time!
As your assessment to comment that all Muslims are Terrorists, you stated this, not I. No where in my op/ed piece does it say this anywhere. You must be a Libby Davey supporter I guess.

I'm simply amazed at the hypocrisy of NDP, Liberal and Green party-types, who--claiming to be pro-environment--push for mass immigration. The staggering urban sprawl problem is caused by the intake of over a quarter million immigrants a year, period. No amount of fanciful New Urbanist planning will arrest the loss of farmland and greenspace caused by a bulging population, mostly fuelled by immigration. Aside from ethno lobbies (like Olivia Chow's constituents), the real push for mass immigration comes from Canada's powerful housing and development industry. All of this talk of addressing labour shortages and the pension system are bogus. Canada needs a hard cap on immigration and population, like proposed in the UK.
We can't be a safety valve for the developing world. Countries like India and Pakistan need to adopt responsible population-control policies and not offload their population surplus on North America. The environmental movement also needs to get a spine--not like the Sierra Club, who accepted over U.S.$100M (from David Gelbaum), to NOT discuss immigration. Aside from the sprawl problem, we have immigrants unable to function in either of our official languages, gangs (e.g., the aptly-named Fresh Off The Boat Killers), hitherto unknown social ills like honour killings, clitorectomies, and khat and doda addicts.
What we need IS an uncensored debate on immigration.
Hi Guys
You may read this article. This tells truth about Canadian Immigration Minister and her controvercial policy!
After months of deliberations and consultations, the details of what will govern the selection of skilled worker applicants for immigration to Canada will finally be disclosed early in the fall, according to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Minister Diane Finley.
The new amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), which were made law in June, have given the Immigration Minister the ability to prioritize the processing of Canadian immigration applications based on Canada’s socio-economic needs. In what was a once first-come-first-served system, where all applications were considered on the same objective criteria, the Minister will now be issuing instructions to the Canadian immigration visa officers as to which applications should be fast-tracked, which should be held for review at a later time, and which should be returned outright.
The ministerial instructions will be issued in the fall, to be applied to Federal Skilled Worker applications received on or after February 27, 2008. They will be based on the prospective immigrant’s ability to ease regional labour shortages and contribute to the community.
CIC representatives have spent the past month or so in consultation with stakeholders groups across Canada in order to establish the framework for these instructions. At each meeting, participants focused on three central questions: What is the role of immigration in Canada? What are the critical short-term and long-term labour shortages? And what are some issues and barriers to credential recognition?
Though Minister Finley has yet to disclose the particular occupations that will be prioritized, she noted that nearly all regions are facing shortages in the medical, financial, and IT sectors.
The policy changes follow on 2008 budget commitments to modernize Canada’s immigration system. $109 million over five years has been allocated to reducing wait times for new applicants, reducing the current backlog of applications, and better responding to Canada labour market needs through immigration.
With this funding, Citizenship and Immigration Canada has begun recording occupational information for applicants in the current Federal Skilled Worker backlog.
Where possible, the department plans to divert qualified applicants to the Provincial Nomination Programs (PNP) for priority processing.
CIC is also working towards increasing capacity and efficiency at Canadian immigration visa offices where the backlogs are the greatest, and reconfirming the intentions of applicants who face the longest wait times. It also intends to centralize the receipt of new applications in order to better control the backlog.
Nevertheless, the Conservative government’s amendments to Canadian immigration legislation remain highly criticized by Opposition parties and other stakeholder groups, who charge that the Conservatives plans are too near-sighted, too labour market-oriented, and could potentially overshadow Provincial Nomination Programs.
The Liberal Opposition has developed an alternate immigration plan to be introduced in its election platform, should a fall 2008 federal election be called.
The bottom line for now is that ministerial instructions are on the way for all skilled worker applications that have been frozen in the system since February 27th.
It is clear, however, that applicants with an occupation considered in demand, and those that secure a job offer in Canada, will be the ones arriving in Canada the soonest.

Hi Friends,
I have seen some mixed responses about Aries International. I had taken the services of Aries Internation for Immigrating to Canada and after waiting for two years, recently i realised that those jockers had taken me for a ride. I had so many meetings with their Resident Director Mr. Sony and from the very first meeting i realised that he is the number 1 jocker.
As i need to give them someyhing solid, i acted as per there tune and took out some valuable info. from their office. I am attaching a excel sheet which contains complete details of all clients including the date on which the application has send to Visa Offices.
We have formed a group in Yahoo and we all are sharing our concerns and the way to teach those jockers a big lession. We have engaged a eminanet lawyer in Canada and with the assistance of a Member of Parliment, we are taking up the matter with Canadian Immigration Minister. A joint represntation will be meeting the Director General of Police in Dubai to stop functioning of these immigration frauds
I would like to take the opportunity of thanking aries international towards my immigration to canada.what i found absolutely amazing was the speed and diligence of the employees. When any of the assisting officers were in ill health an alternative employee took over my case and made the correspondence. I have and will continue to recommend you to any parties expressing interest to immigrate to canada.
