The company turned up late on my pack up date. When packing up one of the removal men had turned on my hob on the cooker and melted plastic on the top. Number one military uniform thrown into a box not hung up. Myself and my partner had to help pack up as they seemed slow. They finished extremely late apron 10.30pm.
The next day they were meant to turn up to unpack at 2pm. They turned up approx 8.30pm and pretty much dumped all my belongings. Tubes of wrapping paper was folded in half onto the box. They ripped up the grass on my front lawn. Because they turned up so late they left all the packing boxes I didn't manage to unpack while they were there and tonnes of packing paper.
The MOD had paid for a packing and unpacking service which I did not receive.
Over the past 6 weeks I have had numerous phone calls with transport (Steve) who assured me after all I had been through the boxes and paper would be picked up. No I have received this email...
Dear Ms Maloney,
Further to your call to our offices today.
As you know another company have kindly offered to collect your 25 cartons. Unfortunately they do not collect paper.
At present they have removed the collection from their schedule as you want everything collected at once.
We don't have any vehicles in the area in the foreseeable future.
I would therefore urge you to accept the offer of collection. I am sure the recycling team from your local council will be able to take away the rest.
Regards
Steve Mobley
I feel as the past 6 weeks I have been completely fobbed off by this company. With the MOD having a contract with this company they seem not to care with their service they give as they will get paid anyway (if I was not military I would have not paid for this company)
I was in tears through my moving process, a process the MOD try and make as easy as possible by paying for the packing and unpacking service.
I feel completely let down and sad.
