Didn’t complete the move
From the very first contact, a list of items was provided. One item was very heavy, a cabinet bed, but, as I said, it was mentioned from the first contact. A number of items were changed, but not that one. Several larger items were removed from the list prior to the move, so asked that that room be filled with some small boxes. They seemed agreeable. But when they reached out new home, two hours away, they said they couldn’t take the cabinet bed into the house because they were not strong enough for the two men to take it down to the lower level of a bi-level home. In a conversation with the office afterwards, the lady said I had not mentioned any stairs. Well, she didn’t ask me that either. The cabinet bed has been moved three before, and each time, just two people moved it, including stairs, and including into a basement. I am now faced with having to pay another mover to come and move it from the garage where it was left, into the house ! They haven't stepped up to compensate that expense. Very disappointing.

Terrible experience, I do not recommend. I chose Two Small Men with Big Hearts based on reviews and word of mouth. This company was not the cheapest quote, but everything was mostly positive, and I wanted to hire people who cared, worked hard, and were proud of their work. Two Small Men with Big Hearts do not care. They will waste your time, break your things, overcharge you, and then direct you to someone to talk to who ultimately just ignores you.

A quoted 4 - 7 hour job took them 15 hours. Two trucks, four men, they started at 11 am and the last box was off at 2:15 am. Two of the guys worked while the other two dragged their feet the entire time. We had to eventually help them. They broke stuff, they complained, they were just the worst and I would not recommend them to ANYONE for ANY job. I did not pay the entire bill as it was WAY over I mean WAY WAY over what was quoted.

They were supposed to deliver my shipment on 20th. Today is 24th and no shipment yet. I keep calling them everyday. The guy told me I would receive the shipment by the night. That happened every single time I called them. No one in the company gives me an answer of where my shipment is. Its lies after lies after lies.

On October 29th, 2016, arrangements were made for a Two Small Men with Big Hearts moving truck to attend a residence in White Rock, BC. They were to pick up 3 items and move them to a storage locker but 10 minutes away. They were advised at the time that they must be there around 2:00 pm as I had no access to the storage locker after 4:45 pm. The truck arrived to the residence at 4:10 pm. It was evident to me that of the 3 men that arrived, two of them were drunk. One had difficulty walking and had slurred speech. The other had difficulty walking and was slow to respond to my questions. He was belligerent and challenged me as to why I was asking which one of the group was the driver of the truck (for obvious reasons). As time passed by, realizing that they could not meet the required timeline to move the furniture, they decided they would leave. They initially attempted to charge me for the standard fee to attend which was in excess of $125.00. I declined and then they exclaimed that I had to pay something. To get them off the property, I paid them $40.00 cash and they left. Subsequently, I made a complaint to their head office in Edmonton and described the scenario along with the attempt to get money from me, then readily take the cash I offered. The respondent said that she would bring it to the attention of management for action. Being a long time business owner myself, and knowing how we would and should handle a complaint of this nature, I expected a followup call from a member of their managment team. I never did!
Over the past many years, I used this company to assist with our business endeavours. Given the manner in which these men used up my time, were poorly presented by intoxication, and by all attempts extorted me for some money, and finally never receiving any sort of correspondence or response from a member the company's management team, I will never use this company again. My suggestion is that one exercise diligence when deciding to use this company.

Overcharged, intimidation, lack of professionalism
I was overcharged for a poor service. Employees kept demanding tips at the end of the job. I was charged a different than what was quoted on the phone.
I was quoted 135/hour and they charged me 159/hour.
Employees took a ton of breaks. Roughly 15mins per hour. And during those breaks they would smoke weed, and even buy some.
Employees took a 30minute break on route to my new house. Which I was charged, of course.
Employees kept "gently" reminding me to have cash for their tip at the end of the move.
When I called, no one said anything about an extra fee to move appliances. When they got to my freezer downstairs, they said it would be $100 cash, no receipts to move it. Fetching for a tip much?
After all this, I've called for a week straight. The receptionist only takes your message and I can only assume throws it in the garbage right after. No one will call you back. Ever.

Moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to another 2 bedroom apartment within same city (Kingston Ontario). Date July 30, 2016 - quoted for this size of move 5-6 hrs with 1 hour addition for travel time to and from office - had to pay 1 hour up front. Hired 3 men crew and 1 truck at $149.00+HST per hour.
Arrived at 8am - on time, 3 men - but only 2 young men (that would rather tease each other) did the moving - the other man (owner) Raymond said he had to stay at truck to ensure safety, however he came up to tell dirty jokes even when I said I did not want to hear them - but proceeded anyways and kept asking why I was stressed - I explained we had the elevator booked at both locations and I did not want to hold others up. He wrapped some items but mostly stayed in the truck. Not what I expected when I paid for 3 men to move the items. It took 1.5 hours before anything was moved from the apartment they were very slow and I told them they would have to hurry up - he told me not to speak to the other men (boys) as they get upset. The were suppose to be so careful but they broke 2 dishes, marked my dining room chair and my new refrigerator. The 2 young men took a long time when coming back from taking a load to the truck and my one neighbor told me after the fact that she watched them from her balcony and they sat for at least 15 minutes each time they took a load to the truck (time we were paying for) when I mentioned it the older man (owner) said they only took 2 5 minute breaks. There were 2 items I did not want and asked that the movers leave it in the moving room and not to load it as I left them for the super at the building. I noticed the items on the loading dock of the new location when they were done moving me and I questioned the owner and he said they did not, I said yes they were and said he had no rights to take it - I called him a couple of days later and told him I wanted the items back or would charge him with theft he said it was not theft as I did not want them - I told him I promised them to the super and he did not ask for them they were not his to take. When I talked to him later on the phone waiting for him to arrive at the new location and mentioned I needed them to hurry up and I was not going to pay for more hours he threatened to take my belongings to another storage unit and I would have to pay to have them released to me. He also told me to help it go faster to hire another man and I said I was not paying for another man as I hired 3 he told me it would cost me an additional $20.00 per hour. The were not done until 6pm and when I gave him the money witch he charged me for 10.5 hours well over my quote he told the other 2 guys to come even though they were in the middle of putting my bed together witch the guys told him and he told them to come anyways - he swore when I told him they could not leave until they were done etc. This company tried to extort more monies out of consumers and do not hold they quotes
I want my items back he stole or pay me for them $99.00 for nightstand and 299 for head board from Leons 1.5 months old
and 3 hours back as my quote was for 6-7 hours with travel time and I have a witness that is willing to state how they sat at the truck for at least 15 minutes each time took a load to the truck
Plus my elderly mother did not appreciate the dirty jokes he insisted on telling

Damaged furniture during move
We hired this company for a move from Rycroft to Grande Prairie on Sept 28, 2015. They were four hours late arriving for our move without notifying us. Then they were in a very great hurry loading up so they did not pack things properly. Almost every piece of furniture that we have was damaged with gouges not just scratches. Our 52 years old solid maple bedroom furniture which has been through 5 previous moves with out damage is now damaged. Our very expensive grandfather clock is damaged. The pendulum for it was packed in a cedar chest and this is now bent because of the rough way that they handled the cedar chest. The broke the castor along with an piece of wood off of a small antique trunk, Upon arriving here in Grande Prairie and opening the moving van we saw that frozen food which had been packed in a storage tub and securely closed was not scattered all over the floor of the moving van. In addition, they stopped for over an hour to eat along the way from Rycroft to Grande Prairie and tried to charge us for this hour also. When they arrived to start loading the van was when we were informed that if we wanted insurance for the move it would be an additional $100 and then if we wanted to make a claim we would have to pay $100 to start the claim. None of this was told to us when booking a move with this company. We would never recommend this company to anyone. At least one person who had booked a move with them cancelled after seeing the damage done to our possessions. I contacted the manager of this company by letter two weeks ago but have not received any communication from them as to any compensation we might receive.

I used this company because they were on a list from my real estate agent of companies to use.
I phoned and told the guy "Dave" where and when I wanted to move. He asked how big the house was and I told him it was three bedrooms.
I had the house for 1 week before moving in, so myself and friends loaded up cars multiple of times and moved them s o the move wouldn't be as expensive. Four years before, I moved into the first house with Able movers. They took 5 and a half hours to move.
With all of the kitchen stuff moved and most of the clothes and small things already moved, the day of the move arrived. The guys were really slow. When it came time to move a table that had legs, they removed the legs, but first turned the table upside down doing a very good job at scratching the top of it.
They took so long to fill the truck. I'm sure they just wanted to make a day out of it. Once the truck was filled, they told me that there wasn't enough room and they'd have to come back. I told them the size of the house and still they came with the wrong size truck.
At the new house, they struggled with a wall unit and had no idea how to move a treadmill.
After 8 1/2 hours, they finally finished at $119 per hour plus tax!
When they were waiting for the money, the guy told me that I could pay the tip with the credit card or I could just give them a tip as cash. A TIP? WHAT FOR? Since all the guys were sitting there watching me, I kind of felt obligated to tip them...stupid, I know.
Why would these guys take so long? Why would I have to be penilized because they brought the wrong size truck.
When I complained, they didn't call back. They don't care. They will use you for anything they can get. They will make a 4 hour move into over an 8 hour move. Don't think you will ever get the job done in less than what they think a days wages are.

This moving company damaged all the furniture they moved of ours. We are taking them to court to cover damages but because they are so crooked they think they have us beat. Also they brought a lawyer to small claims which is ridiculous! The owner Lynda Lambersky came in a wheel chair for sympathy, but does walk because she walked around our house to look at the damage. They also make it impossible to find them to take them to court but we found them and if anyone else is looking for them they now live in Richmond Hill at 22 Alhart street [protected] L4E 5E8

Intentional delays, damaged furniture and so much more
Included below is the email I sent to their Head Office in response to the really bad service I recieved while moving on Saturday August 15th, 2009.
"I am utterly disgusted with the service we received for our move. We were pretty understanding when the movers did not show up at the scheduled time on saturday, as we understood (only after contacting the head office location) that they were unable to empty the moving vehicle the previous night. We even overlooked the fact that we did not receive a call from the movers to let us know they were running behind. However, the following that occured that day is totally unacceptable:
1. Upon meeting the movers, it was evident that one of them had been drinking heavily the night before or earlier on that morning.
2. The amount of time it took for the movers was ridiculous! It took them 9 hours to complete the move when it was estimated to be 5 hours. I realize this is an estimate, however, when I moved into the apartment 2 years ago, it took the moving company I had gone with 5 hours (and with only 2 movers). I expected that it would be comparable.
3. Alot of standing around - the movers would stand in the vehicle and discuss which items to move when there where many items available for moving that did not require 2 men. I do not know if it is your company policy to move everything with a dolly, however, there were many boxes moved in with a dolly that I (as a female) could have moved myself in half the time it took to struggle with the dolly up the steps. This was a complete padding of the hours worked.
4. The movers were smoking in the vehicle where my stuff was stored! We are a non-smoking household. This is disgusting! If I wanted my stuff to smell like cigarettes, I would smoke in my home. Although we are not asthmatics, our cat is extremely sensitive to smoke. My landlord, from the place I was moving out of, witnessed the movers going for a smoke in the storage area almost everytime the brought down a load from my place. My boyfriend and myself witnessed the tail end of this behaviour when they finally made it to my new location. I can understand the movers requiring breaks, but it should not be everytime they move down a load. This is a waste of my time and money. Now my stuff has been contaminated.
5. Damaged goods & property - One wall in particular in my move-out suite has a about a 4 inch black sctrach as well as numerous scratches and marks in the elevator. My small filing cabinet has a dent and large scratch on the bottom side. As well, my futon frame has scrapes all along the bar. I realize there are bound to be bumps and scrapes in moves, it should be minimal. So in addition to the time and cost of the move, I am now responsible for the repairs in my suite and have damaged belongings. The only reason this is on my list of complaints is because I do not feel that they even tried to minimize the damage occuring or attempt to prevent it.
6. Children playing on our belongings that were outside the building and waiting to be loaded. We came back to see how much longer the movers were going to be around 3pm. At which time, when we were pulling into the parking lot we watched in disbelief as two children were climbing on our property and there was no-one in sight watching our stuff. When we went to speak to the girls to ask them to stop, their father (Farris) came out of the vehicle. Children should not be in the way when people are moving. My property could have been damaged by their carelessness or they could have hurt themselves.
7. Unprepared - the movers did not come prepared to remove doors, etc. I had to run around between the two properties to attempt to find my own tools to have the door removed. I expect when I am paying someone to do a job that they come prepared.
8. Lacking common sense - these movers did not have common sense. When we moved into our old apartment (the move-out location on Aug 15th), the only item that did not fit in the elevator was our couch. However, the movers insisted on taking my boxspring and futon frame (in addition to the couch - which I knew would not fit in the elevator) down the stairwell. These items fit when moving in... why didnt they fit while moving out?! This was just another excuse to waste more time as they did not try very hard to get it to fit in the elevator.
As someone who works with difficult customers everyday, I know the results of giving good customer service versus giving really crappy service. All of these points contributed in some way to all the additional expenses of having chosen your company to conduct my move. Not only did I have to pay more for the extended time it took for these guys to do the job, but I am also paying for the damages sustained during the move. I am extremely disatisfied with the service recieved. I want to know what you will be doing so that no other customers are taken advantage of the same way that we were. If proper steps to reconcile this matter are not taken, I will be demanding the cost of fumigating my belongings and will be acquiring legal representation if needed. This is absolutely unacceptable. I should not have had to pay more than the estimated quote as it should not have taken 9 hours to complete!

I am sorry to hear about your move! If you read though all these complaints you will see that you will never get any responce to your letter. I have also delt with this crooked company and did not do my research and learned the hard way. I would just chalk it up as a learning experience, contanct the BBB in alberta and let them know so they can keep track of it. Also be detailedled in your complaint. other than tring to sue them in civil court there is not much you can do, sorry. I have been through all the steps in the past such as you, and i wasnt going to waste one more cent on them in court. Now i just make it a point to go on all these consumerwatch sites and let them know my story to help stop other people from going through what I did.

Located in Winnipeg Manitoba. I moved to BC August 2008, my belongings were with Two Small Men with Big Hearts in Winnipeg, they were to transport within 7 days, it took 1 month. Before I left I went to the lot to add a couple of items that the movers said were too much work for them to take and I should leave them behind, I said no they come with me, they left them and drove off. A table hockey game and laundry baskets! Well, as small as the lot was they couldn't find my stuff -why? It was moved into a storage trailer on site! Always excuses. Oh yes and I had to follow the movers everywhere through my house because as they moved items anything with cords attached or a remote, instead of wrapping them up with the unit they just pulled them out and dropped them on the ground whereever they were at the moment, indoors/outdoors where ever. They told me what to take and what I should leave behind - behind for who? All of my furniture was dismantled into the smallest of pieces, and arrived that way to BC -when it finally got here. I was told by the movers delivering my items that they personally didn't dismantle things so were not going to put anything back together. No one even kew what went where or looked like it was a piece to what item. Wpg office said it should not have been done when I finally got one of them on the phone. One of the movers commented when carrying in one of my couches they it was so comfortable and asked me if I was willing to sell it to him cheap for his brother? WHAT! He is supposed to be carrying my stuff on checking out if it is comfy and a possible purchase for himself. It still had tags from the store on them, and they marked it on th paper as worn! Immediately I noticed my blue leather ottoman for my living room set gone, I called the movers directly they said yip it was in the truck under blankets and would bring it on the way back from Vancouver, I never saw either again. Well I tried myself, but besides missing most of the screws, bolts, springs and some of the pieces, it was a lost cause. Surrey (head office) said that I signed that everything arrived so to bad, I didn't have a claim -to get a life and move on, yelled, screamed, insulted me and told me to call the RCMP and complain to them. (what was I supposed to do, i was alone with these 2 guys in my new kitchen and they said they weren;t leaving till I signed that items arrived. I was horrified. I called Wpg back, now this is going on months already, the secretay apologized -as the guys were always away from the office, Finally I got ne of them when i called private umber asking about a moving estimate -funny he was there for that! He gave me a personal e-mail address to send pictures of missing items, like my blue leather ottoman (from my living room set) -and how was I supposed to do that it was missing. Tried the e-mail address and it bounced back undeliverable. Many boxes did not arrive, and many had 2 stickers on them instead of one. Wpg did nothing but ignore my calls "out of the office sorry". The bikes were dismantled, tires flat and frames bent, picture frames broken, stand up lamps broken and scratched, and they still won't pick up this bag of clothes that came to me in a black garbage bag that belongs to someone else. They lied about everything starting from the original delivery date, so we slept on air mattresses and sat on 2 chairs that I bought at Walmart for 3 weeks! I made calls, sent multiple e-mails (which I was finally told were found in their junk mail), -guess that is where customers e-mails go after they sig on with them, junk. I and family members had contacted Surrey which was totally a dead end with that loser from claims yelling and screaming at me. I will tell you that this company is a sham and that any comments you may hear complimenting them were probably made by them!
I will never ever ever recommend these guys to anyone.
Oh yes, it is great that they lost most of the legs to my blue leather couches too, so I had phone s under them to level them, they said that they were in a box with the screws and cords-well guess what -that was one of the boxes that didn;t show up! And since one of my kids desks had the legs pulled out instead of the crews removed -the whole wood was destroyed and my child now does homework at the table!

Bad service
I have just recently moved from Toronto to Barrie. Prior to my move I was checking out all the opinion boards online and noticed that most moving companies had bad comments against them, I wasn't to sure who to go with so I started asking friends. One of my co-workers suggested Two Small Men as he had used them a few months before and had a good experience. I decided to book with them. On the day of my move they showed up on time and ready to work. The guys were funny and careful with my stuff. It seems as though this company is making a turn around. Keep it up and i will recommend you guys for sure.

Two Small Men With Big Hearts Moving... I recognize the fact that this is a complaint board but I really don't have to much to complain about. I hired 2 movers from the Toronto office for September 13. They were to move my condos contents to another condo in London, and they did. I have used several moving companies in my time and this was by far one of the smoothest moves I've had. I have read all these complaints and can't believe that one franchise can differ so much from another. Anyways this is my short comment... I felt that I owed it to them... Obviously they aren't all terrible.

this company has over 600 unresolved, unanswered complaints/lawsuits in Ontario alone - while the owners live in luxury. Don't be fooled by the sugary coated reviews shown - they have their own reps submit good stories to cover up the negligence, illegal double credit card billings, thefts. You are only a dollar sign - they don't give a crap about you or your contents. Ever wonder why loads are shifted between offices and delayed indefinitely, then show up without electronics and other specific valuables? It's no accident. They are on the bottom for a reason. They don't even treat their own office owners with honesty - just rip off and steal what you have worked hard for. Do your homework. Don't keep these guys in business. I wish I had read all of these comments before I hired TSM Moving Ltd. (Total Service Moving), also known as "Two Small Men With Big Hearts Moving".
TSM Movers Ltd.:

We actually filed an official complaint against the Toronto office for their dishonest practice and have now been advised by the Consumer Protection Bureau that they will be charged. Anyone else wanting to provide sworn statements against this branch should contact the Consumer Protection Bureau of Ontario (they really do work).

Re. Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving
I, and my friends - a couple - moved in August using this company. We moved a week apart into a house that we share in Toronto. Apart from various horrors like turning up late, inexperienced staff, damaging a piano, not being able to fit a third of my friends' goods on the truck, I found out a week ago that the company double-billed all of us for the balance of each of our moving bills. I went to the company's office last week and confronted the accounting person, Julie Blake. After an hour and a half on the phone with MasterCard, TD Bank and MasterCard again I got my money back plus saw what their scam is.
It boils down to a loophole that they are taking advantage of. The moving company has something called a TD Freedom 4 terminal which they use to post all their credit card sales to their TD bank.
The day after my move, they put through the balance owing on my move through their Freedom 4 terminal to TD and ultimately to MasterCard. This is all clearly recorded on their credit card sales printouts for each day. However, the day of the move, one of the men who moved me had me sign a credit card slip for the balance, he then phoned in for an authorisation number. That should have been that and then the credit card slip should be posted the next day as they did. But, I found out that there are two different telephone numbers that can be used to get an authorisation number.
If you have the Freedom 4 terminal you are supposed to use one number that gives you authorisation only. If you use the other number, it will give you authorisation PLUS it puts the request through as a billing. The movers were using the "wrong" number so that a billing would go through in a way that doesn't show up on the regular posting records for the next day. Thus, the company can say to me - which they did - look, there is no record of a second billing...you have to go back to the credit card company and sort it out. Then they have that 35 - to 60 days to hang onto your money until things get "sorted" in a credit card company disput process. Or, some people might not check their account closely and never see the double billing.
My friends got their money back this week. I think that this was only because of our connection as friends and Julie's fear that I realized what they are up to. She is probably hoping that we're off her back!
I did report all of this to MasterCard security. In a previous call to a MasterCard customer service person - Rick - I was told that his department had been noticing a pattern of billing complaints for the last nine months regarding Two Small Men.
My son, his wife, son and dog were given a FIRM quote to move all of their belongings from Vancouver to Price George. The crew arrived, but said they would not do the move for the quoted price of $24oo - wanted $3000 or more, and before then drove off. The manager of the company, said his estimator made a mistake, but wouldn't stand by the quote. When I called, all he could say, is "sue me if you wish". This is unconscionable business practice.
I would suggest that no one ever deal with these folks again, at least in this part of their territory. Be wary of people who have no ethics or are willing to stand behind their contracts.

1 box packed at last minute missing
in addition, it took five hours to move a small 2 bedroom apt with maximum 10 minute travel. (3 guys)
in leiu of compensation, they offer $.10 on the dollar and if the loss is more than X dollars I was advised by letter that the issue would go to court.
For the record, these locations are no longer being operated by the franchisees who were responsible for these complaints and we have no way of verifying the information but, as far as we have been made aware, all of these complaints have been resolved in the customers favour and we are committed to excellence moving forward.
I'v been a mover for the last 5 years and I can tell you that the #1 reason that customers endure 2-3 trips with their move is simple, DISCLOSURE! As a customer you can not lie about how much stuff you have just to get a hard quote! As movers we also know there is such thing as scamming customers! They try and get owners to commit to a price for a so called 3 bedroom house for let's just say $1000 and when we get their there is a 4th room being used as an office and garage packed to the rim and that takes extra time to move! In essence what happens is customers lie and us movers show up un-prepared because of a lie to save a few dollars! Remember you've spent over $50000 to furnish your house, don't be cheap trying to move it! And a little hint for a good move, let your movers know that you will feed and tip the crew! That will get you 5 star service! Now you know!

A Great Move, Exceptional Service, From Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving.
In June of 2007, my company transferred me from Vancouver BC, to Toronto Ontario. I had several moving companies visit my 6000 square foot home. The salesman from Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving was by far the most professional. He took a great deal of time to go thru the house to estimate the weight, and the estimated cost of packing. The rate he provided was competitive, and was presented to me in a clear and concise format.
After receiving the quotations from all the other movers, we asked a few of them to visit us again as we had some questions, and concerns, none of the larger companies agreed to visit our home. The representative from Two Small Men with Big Hearts came the next day and spent over two hours with my wife, and myself answering our questions.
As my company had only agreed to a pay a certain amount for the relocation we were going to have to pay approximately $5000.00 of our own money in order to move all our possessions. We were about to pay the money out off our own pocket, when we received a call from the salesman from Two Small Men with Big Hearts. He had taken the insinuative to make some phone calls on our behave, and arranged for a trucking company to move my collection of books, which greatly reduced the cost of our move, and as I found out later greatly reducing his sales commission.
On the day prior to the move, the packing crew arrived to pack our house at 8.00A.M.
At 9.00 AM the salesman came to our house to see how thing were progessing, he brought breakfast for my family, and the packing crew, he also returned at the end of the day to check up on things and help pack.
The following day a forty foot moving truck was waiting outside our door when we woke up, the crew took a great deal of time to pack and inventory our belongings, once again the salesman attended our residence to assist us. Our goods were scheduled to arrive in 7-14 business days, as we were flying to Toronto and did not know anybody there the salesman suggested some places for us to stay, during the period of time our goods were in transit he touched base with us several times to update us on the progress of our shipment.
Our goods arrived early (in ten business days), the crew that unloaded and unpacked our goods did so in a careful, and professional manner. Once again the salesman phoned the following day to see how thing went.
In closing we found Two Small Men with Big Hearts to be very professional and careful in the transport of our goods, and the personnel attention we received was above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend them.

And don't buy the BS that with all the moves they do there are bound to be some accidents, just more of there hustle and BS, they don't have the staff or vehicles across their franchises to do all the moves they claim to...they are just trying to deflect their responsibility for negligent and fraudulent service!

My true experience was my items were 30 days late, held hostage so they could overcharge even more, my calls were avoided and when I gave a fake name and was immediately given a service rep. he nicely cursed and swore at me...then proceeded to call my husband at work to curse and swear loudly at him (he was with clients)...then after checking that he was completely wrong on the dates...gave a half appology...then proceeded to have us wait 2 more no show days at home before finally showing up a month late...
Bunch of crooks and I hope they have trouble sleeping at night...what goes around comes around...the world is what YOU make it...think about it 2 big crooks with no conscious.
I can only prey that people realize what they are before signing up...and I have no idea why, with all the complaints the BBB and gov't don't do something.
that office closed down a few months ago, then someone else bought the rights to Toronto and have opened a new office at a diffrent location, which just opened in May 2008. As far as i know Brent is no longer working for Two Small Men and neither are any of the drivers or helpers from that location. Unless John or Jon, and Brent are working for a diffrent office now, but they are no longer at the toronto office. As for Jeff I am not sure if he is working for another office, or what he is doing, but he is no longer at the Toronto office either.

Franchise scam!
This company represents itself on the internet in Canada and the US as a franchise with 'franchises available'. They are not a registered Canadian franchise and do not operate as a franchise! There is no legitimate structure - the company changes hands almost every year so you cannot track down who is responsible or who is really in charge. There are only a few locations in the US even though they advertise locations all over the US. Canada locations has had 'takeovers' by insiders who claim to be in charge. They bully office owners until they take over the territories without paying for them. There are over 600 unanswered claims in the Ontario location alone while the Toronto owner lives in a 1, 600, 000.00 home! There is no accountability for what they do - they do whatever they want however they want - legal or not. They cannot be trusted as business associates. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND LIFE ON THIS COMPANY.
My daughters furniture and personal belongings were picked up by Winnipeg office Dec 28, 2010 and have NOT been delivered to her new residence in Kelowna as of todays date Jan 28, 2011. Multiple broken promises to deliver/ hang-ups by Wpg office or dispatcher- Richard refuses to accept her phone calls/ originally promised that delivery would be within 7 days ?
they unfortunatly had our stuff on the truck before I got a chance to check these complaints out. I have seen nothing but complaints on many websites. I still have not recieved my stuff and it has been 3 weeks when we were quoted 3 days. I am hoping that nothing has been broken or stolen as I have unreplaceable items on that truck. Every time I call to ask about our stuff I just get the runaround. They also jacked up the estimate price by $3000 and told me if I did not pay the full amount than my stuff would not be unloaded. They also refuse to provide me with a reciept with the weight of our stuff. 2 managers have hung up on me and told me to stop being paranoid and my stuff will show up 'at the drivers convienience". I am being polite until our stuff arrives but i'm seriously thinking lawsuit once our stuff arrives.
