Hello, I am a current employee of this company so I would prefer not to give my name. I am currently employed at the distribution center in Phenix City, Alabama. I have complained to the supervisor, but nothing has happened except they pulled the coworker into the office and talked to him. He comes to work drunk and continues to drink on the job all day. During the day, he will go to the store and buy more alcohol to drink while at work, but he pours it in a cup so nobody will ask any questions. He smells like alcohol daily. I have reported this to the supervisor (Shannon) at the warehouse, and he has also stated he smells alcohol on him. He is very quick-tempered and has had altercations with two ppl on the job, one being a supervisor (Shannon). If you pull his time card, you see he is always late. He was arguing with a supervisor (Shannon )about his punctuality. He comes and goes when he wants to, and nothing is said. On our 9 o'clock break, he will leave, and he be gone for about 2 hours. When he comes back, it's usually around 11 o'clock lunchtime, but he will leave again for another 2 hours. He does this every day. He has told me another ppl when he is on the truck, sometimes they get back at 4:30, but because the warehouse is close, they will put 6:30 or later on their timesheet. Customers have even called the warehouse and stated they smelled alcohol on him while he was delivering their furniture. One person has started he was drunk when he delivered their furniture. I want a safe environment for myself and should not be subjected to his actions while drinking. I have been with this company for a long time and would like to continue with them, but I feel like somebody needs to be done. His name is Chico Blick. Please help with this situation. Calling you is my last option before submitting my resignation, and I don't want to put Ashley furniture out there about their employees.
Furniture warranty rebate
I purchased a bedroom suit 12-24-121 sales order number [protected], customer number TENNP12527 invoice total 1718.85. This included a $199.00 warranty. I then purchased living room furniture 1-5-16 sales order [protected] customer number TENNP14018 invoice total 1877.91. This included 219.00 warranty. I was advised once 5 years past if I did not file a claim on the warranty, I could use the funds towards furniture. Well it is past the 5 years and when I tried to use the rebate I was told:
1) I had to spend a minimum of $500.00.
2) I could not combine the rebates, that I would have to purchase two separates each for $500.00.
THIS IS NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD WHEN I PURCHASED THE WARRANTY.

Delivery
Ordered a sofa, love seat, coffee table and reclining bed on December 12, 2021. The bed was delivered. We were told the others were back ordered and we would receive by mid January 2022. Today, December 31, 2021 we were told we would not get delivery until March 27, 2022. First, why have furniture displayed if it's back ordered. Second why tell us mid January it that was not the case. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was scheduled to be out of state the end of February until end of July. Now what do I do. Will they pay for a flight for my husband and I to come back. We will be 16 hours away
Bedroom suite
Purchased a bedroom suite September 2021, was told the product should be in by the end of November, then January, on December 29th I was on three separate calls at once, customer service x 2 and the store... all three gave 3 different dates, after almost an hour on the phone and them talking amongst each another while I was trying to have some sort of dinner with my family, I still have no idea what the "protentional" date will be, well first January 26, then sometime in March then same conversation then February 24th, three dates in one phone conversation with three Ashley representatives, that would make it "potentially 6 months, you would think someone was walking it over.
I am waiting for rails. The headboard foot board and two dressers are in and I am waiting for rails of all things if they are being truthful, somewhere off shore in some container WTF,

Poor customer service. Four months and no furniture. This has been a nightmare. Many deliveries with no furniture, broken furniture. Entire order was to be delivered, no kitchen broken bed rails. Took off work two days. I am a senior this is ridiculous. Now they say April for my kitchen. No one answers the phone. I had to drive all the way to the store to speak to some one. Then they say 10% restocking fee! I'm not paying a restocking fee on something they never even have in stock ! I have an illness that is brought on by stress. I am getting sick over this. Purple Cow Protection Plan
I bought three rooms of furniture from Ashley Furniture and purchased the purple cow protection plan for $1000. After four years I was to get $1000 store credit if I had not use the plan. I did not use the plans so four years later I asked for the store credit. After waiting for months and many many phone calls from me to them they finally told me that they denied it because I have to wait five years. I have the original plan that says four years but in spite of that they still tell me I need to wait five years. I don't know why they think they can just add on another year. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I have told them if I have not heard from them to my satisfaction within the next five days that I will take legal action. It is amazing to me that a company this large refuses to honor their contract.
Desired outcome: I want Ashley Furniture to give me the thousand dollar store credit that they promised that was in their purple Kyle protection plan contract.
Unbelievable that they would not honor their contract after I paid $1,000 for it.

I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN. We brought a couch for our new house. We told 3 associates the house was being built and we were told that would not be a problem they would hold the delivery until settlement on Dec 3rd. We'll of course they tried to deliver a couch to a house being built and when I called the store it was put in the system that I canceled the delivery. Once we were in the house I called to schedule delivery. Associates are saying the couch is showing delivered in the system and they can't refund it until the delivery department changes the status. The manager Justin has been telling me the EXACT same thing for over 4 weeks now and it almost seems comical to all the associates. Also dont expect the corporate office to do anything because I have been hearing "we will have our district manager Horace look into this and have the system update", clearly that has not happened. I dont understand how a company can just take your money and SO easily get away with it.

Ordered (#[protected]) a twin bed/mattress package on Ashley's website on 23 Nov 2021. It was to arrive on Dec 11. A week before and after the scheduled arrival - I enquired a few times on the status - via text/phone. The timeframe shifted significantly and ranged from 8 to 10 weeks depending on the text/reply or call that I received.
Given I needed the bed much sooner, I wanted to cancel the order. One person told me I could a full refund. I was also told that the web team would handle given I ordered it online.
When I made the cancellation I was told I would need to pay the processing fee (ie around $120.00). Given the significant delay, I could not understand why the fee was required. It would have made sense if the package was on the way - but it wasn't.

We purchased an ASHLEY bed under 90 day trial. By 28 days we gave up trying to sleep on it and are sleeping on the couch or kid's beds. I purchased a sofa from Ashley furniture in September 2021. We moved it from one area to another and it caught on a nail that we did not know was sticking out of a door frame. It ripped and then not realizing it my four year old grandson started playing in the hole until it now looks like a frayed hole. The warranty company now says it does not cover pilling or fraying. It is not fraying or pilling it ripped. Very upset.

I ordered a bedroom set online. After a month of not getting a delivery date, I called to cancel. I was told it was canceled but I noticed it was still showing on my credit card. I called again and spoke a live agent who said it had been canceled. My card was not only charge for one bedroom but two of the same bedroom set. The balance on my synchrony account shows zero, and available balance has not been corrected because ashley is still showing my account at the amounts for the two bedroom sets.
I was not delivered anything from them. I actually purchased elsewhere because of ashley delivery issues and not knowing when the furniture would be available.
I think someone is taking money, stealing. Pure rip off.
Desired outcome: put my money back on my card so I can close it.
Warranty is a scam
I purchased many warranties through Ashley Furniture. I told them before that I did not want protection on the items and they reassured me that this plan was great! They will cover rips, cracks, stains, etc. with their reassurance that this would be worth it, I got the warranty. My first time to make a claim on the "JUNK" I have purchased through Ashley, and it was denied! Are you kidding me! This was a $2, 000+ purchase and they deny it! When this is was what the rep helping me "claimed" they cover, (a rip in the upholstery)! I have spent 10's of thousands of dollars in Ashley Homestore and Wichita Furniture getting warranties on all the items. I have not received the "no claim refund" back on any item and have not worried about it. But, now that I am not able to get my money's worth out of the warranty I'm pretty ticked about it all! This is fraudulent, and a HUGE SCAM! I will no longer shop at Ashley if this is how they treat customers!

Footboard, Chest of Drawers and kitchen table
I ordered 3 rooms of furniture that was delivered Jan 2020 and I contract Ashley 11/17/2021 to file a warranty claim and request a repair service. Customer Service very respectful advised me a case has been opened and sent me an email to send photos of the damage which I did. He then advised me I would receive a call from the Ashley Scheduling departure to come to home my home to correct my problems. I received a call on 12/26 advising my furniture was damage and not within the warranty.
Problem: 1 -Footboard Lodanna Item #: B214-84S Full size Foot board fell per the photos provided you can see the top board glue gave out, there is no other damage to the footboard, the board separated.
Problem: 2 - Chest of Drawers Lodanna Item #: B214-46 The board below the bottom drawer has feel apart, the screws did not hold up and this product came setup. There is no physical damage to the product as to it fell apart.
Problem: 3 - Dining Table: Item #: D743-35 the table top finish is off in several spots and they only thing they could tell me is that it was something I cleaned it with. If that would be the case the finish would be off in several spots or the entire top.
Customer Service advised there is no escalation process and there is nothing they can do. However if a repair person would personally look at the furniture they can see the items fell apart and were not damage by anyone. The screws came out and the glue did not hold, poor factory assembly. The table top is not even a year old and should not be losing the finish.

Non Compliance with Delivery Timeline
I ordered a sectional at the beginning of August 2021 from Ashley's furniture in Alexandria VA (Kingstowne). We were told the delivery window would be between 10-12 weeks. I have called every week as of the 10 week timeline to check the status of my furniture. One out of two pieces is stuck at the warehouse in MD due to the fact that the large sofa piece has yet to arrive. Each week that I have called, I have been told that my shipment should come in on Nov. 22nd, then Nov. 29th. We are now on week 17 and now they tell me it can come on either Dec. 4th, Dec. 8th or Dec. 15th. The week before that the rep told me, it could be as late as January 2022! What kills me is that as advanced as our shipment and technology is now a days, similar to USPS or UPS, they are telling me, they can't quite track the exact day it will arrive to the warehouse! So I'll just keep waiting ... no! This is truly the poorest costumer service and lack of compliance on timeline I've ever seen and I clearly am not the first one to complain about this. I will simply get a refund and not deal with this headache. Do yourselves a favor, save your money and time... even with the GREAT SALES THEY OFFER, DON'T PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!

I paid over $3000 for the outfit and bought the extended warranty. My sofa has
started to peel and I sent pictures to the warranty company and they refuse to help. I bought this April 9th 2020 its 1 1/2 years old and it looks terrible my 2 recliners are in excellent condition and they are used regularly. I would like some type of compensation or a new sofa . I will take this further if need be.
