I use to be one of your biggest customer but I will no longer order from your company again. 6/10 placed order for the blue twist crop top and skirt and the wrong color was sent out I returned that with no problems...Placed order for the same out fit again on 6/17 and the wrong color was sent out again...Placed order again on 6/28 for the same outfit and lord behold the wrong color was sent out AGAIN. I ordered the same out fit again on 7/2 and FINALLY THE CORRECT COLOR WAS SHIPPED OUT. Now customer service wants me to take a picture of the return and email it to them then they will email return label for the 6/28 order. Really that wasn't needed all those other times I shipped back the wrong items YOUR COMPANY SENT OUT! But I will pay to have your item shipped back to you just refund my money and you will NEVER HAVE TO SHIP ME ANYTHING ELSE. GOOD DAY!
Poor customer service
I was in the Ashley Stewart store on May 6, 2017. I have been a faithful shopper there for years. When they were in Mississippi, then Fayetteville North Carolina, and now Durham, North Carolina. I have always had perfect customer service, but in Durham my last two visits have been deplorable. I always shop with my two daughters and we spend a lot of money in this store, but on this day my daughters were trying on outfits and we had to constantly look for people to assist us, although there were two women at the registers and one in the back. Finally I asked the one that may have been the manager if someone could assist my daughter by getting her another size of pants. The one that I think was the manager, had to ask the other lady well can you help her. I told the manager that I was going to file a formal complaint. The normal group of women, which is a little older than the ones that were there on that day, are very helpful, and the atmosphere is one of a pleasurable shopping experience. The lazy group that was there the last two times that I have visited, has caused me to rethink spending any more of my money with this organization. I do not know what the appropriate resolution to this problem would be, maybe better training or be more careful about hiring people that are not customer centered and really don't want to work, but want a check.

What do you mean you could not get anyone to bring you another size of pants? Couldn't you just go to the rack and get the next size? How hard is it to shop for clothes without needing help?

I attempted to return/exchange items in which I ordered within the 30 return policy according to my shipping manifest. It took me about 35 minutes to travel to the closet Ashley Stewart in which I expected to have a decent or quality experience. Needless to say it was all but that. The associate at no point offered an alternative to give me the slightest resolution. She simply informed me that since I didn't have the plastic packaging( which I didn't know was a requirement to return/exchange) that the bras were shipped in that it nothing at that she could do for me. This was my very first time shopping with your company after hearing such positive notes from co-workers. Quality customer service includes satisfying your customer and at this point I'd appreciate a refund of my purchase
plunge bra/poor service/poor quality
I ordered the Plunge Butterfly bra. It fit well, but after about half an hour of wearing it, the under-wire broke. Because I was being stabbed with the wire and was not somewhere that I could take the bra off and store it, I had no choice but to throw it away. After sever attempts to contact and be refunded for a $50 bra that was worn once for less than an hour, I was told unless I could send back the bra, there was nothing they would do. End of story. The customer service was horrible. Response time was horrible, it took almost a week to be told there was nothing they would do. I will not shop with this company again.
never received my order
I made an order in early January. I purchased some boots and was very excited about my purchase. But here it is February 17th, and my order is not even shipped yet. I sent them many messages and asked about the status of my order and when it is going to be delivered. Messages I received made no sense, I got only spam emails about ordering more stuff. I'm so disappointed. I never received confirmation email and tracking number. I'll never order anything again from Ashleystewart. Save your money and avoid this site.
Poor customer service experience
The customer service at Ashley Stewart is horrible. I placed an order for $141 and I was sent the incorrect item. I sent an email and was advised to send an email with pictures showing what I was sent before they would do anything. For any reason you need to return your order the consumer is required for the shipping both way. I am a VIP member and deserve to be treated with more respect. The email responses are lousy as well, I sent an email it took 2-3 days before I received a response. The representative Kendra has to be illiterate she spelled my name wrong when it's on the email. She really needs to know that reading is fundamental. I responded to that email and was informed that a supervisor would get in touch with me that was Monday and tomorrow is Thursday. No one seems to do what they say they will do. The items I ordered are Christmas gift and it's the week before Christmas and I am still waiting for my issue to be resolved. I ordered well in enough time to receive my order. If this is the type of service I will receive then I will no longer do business with this company. I have placed several online orders and have never experienced any of these issues. I don't see why it's so hard to fix your mistake. This is going to ruin my Christmas! The CEO of Ashley Stewart really needs to know the type of customer service that his company "calls themselves" providing.
I had a similar issue. Ashley Stewart's customer service is unacceptable and I don't know how they retain customers. It was my first order and I placed a small one, even though I wanted to order more, to check the quality of their goods before I spent more money. I am so thankful I had enough sense to keep my order small. Imagine my surprise when I received my straw hat in a mailing bag. It was crushed and even after several days obviously crumpled and damaged due to their ridiculous choice for shipping. Just as the previous customer posted, I had to send pictures. Really? And even more ridiculous is the fact that you can't just get an exchange over the phone or on the enclosed mailing label but you have to go back online and reorder a replacement. I finally received a reply to my complaint only to be told that I would receive a shipping label directly from UPS. Sure you're right. Here I still sit waiting and checking spam with no resolution or shipping label to return the damaged items for free. Needless to say, I placed my first and last order with Ashley Stewart. Cute clothes, sad customer service. Save yourself the headache and hassle and order from a reputable company that cares about keeping their customers and providing quality items.

I'm a first time Ashley Stewart credit card user with Ashley Stewart, I accidently hit the wrong address on my on-line order. I called customer service and tried to have my order sent to the correct address and not sent to the wrong house. If I would have made this same mistake on Macy's website I'm more than sure Macy's could have fixed this small issue, the woman that took my call was very professional however she couldn't help me at all. I'm very unhappy with this order I was told to track down, what a crying shame, what a bad 1st time AS credit card experience.
