Aspen Dental Manager named Kelly at Aspen Dental elkton MD.

I had work done here at Aspen Dental elkton MD. I was there for almost 2 years. I month before the implant I will get. I told Kelly the manager then that I wille need the 3Dscan that I payed for. The day of the last procedure I asked Kelly for the 3Dscan she said she will contact corporate, I asked why, I told you a month ago I would need my 3Dscan for the Christiana Center for OMS facial for 4735 Ogeleton Stanton RD. # 1115 Newark, De. 19713. Then she says it was mailed to them, twice. A full 2 weeks passed so I went to see kelly she wasn't there so Andrea tell's me it will come to your home address. A week later they said to me, we don't know where my 3Dscan Is! I had to go to Abingdon, MD. place to get the 3Dscan done due to Aspen Dental MD. did not have the machine. So my girlfriend drove to Abingdon office and had them do the scan. I payed for it and I have the receipt. I want my $387.00 or the 3Dscan. I honesly do not know why I was treated like this. Please send me the 3Dscan or the Money, Thank you!

Desired outcome: give me my 3Dscan or the $387.00!!

Aspen Dental Lack of customer service

Got my Aspen dentures approx 8 years ago. They have broken and been fixed 3 times. Went in with a hairline fracture and was told Matt not be able to fix. Must have appointment. Had to wait four weeks and then my appointment was cancelled that morning, no explanation

Arrived at my rescheduled 9:00 am appointment at 8:40. Still waiting at 9:40 with no communication from reception. When I approached I was told they were treating someone else and it would be awhile. I gave up and left as this was the second time this has happened. I am now planning to go elsewhere for service. Have had about as trouble from Aspen as I can take. You really need to work on your lack of service.

P.s. just got an email saying y’all were sorrel missed my appointment and would like me to reschedule.

Almost too much to believe.

Desired outcome: I don’t expect any satisfaction from Aspen, but maybe you will treat future customers better.

Aspen Dental ill fitting denture

It has been 4 years since I got my dentures - they still do not fit and will not assist me anymore. My bottom denture hurts. I keep complaining - I have asked them to remake it - they won't - it's still under warranty - they tell me "If this doesn't work next time you can talk to the dentist" - the next time comes the dentist isn't in the building. I filed another form before Thanksgiving hoping to get this resolved - no one contacted me. I feel they made the permanent denture to soon - even though I asked them to wait. They assured me the permanent one would fit better than the temporary and their was no need to wait. I eat more meals without teeth than I eat with them. After spending thousands of dollars that shouldn't be the case.

Desired outcome: I want a new denture. made to fit my mouth along with an apology for not taking my issue seriously and for them putting me off with no end result in site.

Aspen Dental Denture cracking

I have tried to get my records from Aspen so I can give you correct dates of service. All I can get is a set of x-rays. I had one upper denture made by Aspen and it lasted approximately 13 years without a problem. The denture I have now was made at Aspen Dental. Shortly after having it made, it developed a crack right down the middle. I was told it could be easily fixed and they were not going to replace it. The second and third time it cracked right down the middle again I was told the same thing. On the fourth crack, they affixed the denture to a metal impression plate and said it shouldn't crack again. Guess what? It cracked again! I cannot get the Aspen office in SW Cedar Rapids to give me a complete set of records for myself. I had to cancel my appointment this morning because of the icy roads. I left a message and am waiting for a call back. BTW, right after I got this denture I developed a bleeding sore in the roof of my mouth. You advertise walk-in service, but when I called I was told nothing was open until over the weekend - 5 days later. I asked if they couldn't get me in sooner. I was told in a cheery little voice, "Nope!", and they hung up. I used salt water and suffered over the weekend. When the time came to go in, I had managed to relieve the pain myself. BTW, I still don't have a copy of my records even after requesting them twice. I don't know what company is supplying the material to make the denture but I don't want to go thru this again. What can I do? Can you help me in any way? Can you get a complete copy of my records? I sincerely appreciate anything and everything you can do. Thank you, Karen Voss

This is the office on Edgewood Road, Cedar Rapids, Iowa

[protected]

Desired outcome: If a new denture can't be of better quality, I want a refund. I want a written guarantee to obtain care for bleeding sores from a denture in a timely manner. I will not wait for 5-6 days in miserable pain to see someone regarding sores.

I have been going to Aspen Dental since I moved out to Kentucky which has been about 2 years now and every experience I have had with them has sucked. I don’t have dental insurance everything I pay is completely out of pocket. I had a bad root canal done that they overlooked and that root canal tooth had to be pulled. I went to Aspen Dental with tooth pain. They told me I would have to take antibiotics to getn the infection under control before they could pull the bad teeth. I took the antibiotics and eventually had the teeth removed. They recommended to get dentures. I agreed as the remainder of my teeth were in bad shape. They had me come back to have more teeth...

Aspen Dental cant get permanent dentures after 7 months

My grandmother went to the Prattville, AL location for dentures in May 2022. In September after she was all healed up from having he teeth pulled, they started trying to fit her for the permanent dentures. It is now December 29, 2022 and she still hasnt gotten her permanet dentures. She has drove 30 miles one way at leat 20 times and every time they dont fit. She cant even close her mouth when she has them in. She is 83 years old and cant keep driving that far. She even had an accident this month on her way to her last dentist appointment. I feel like this has become a bit ridiculous the amount of times shes went there and still hasnt gotten what she paid for.

Desired outcome: I think she should get her money back so she can go elsewhere to get her dentures

Aspen Dental Customer service

I went to Aspen Dental in Hinesville, GA to give them my partial back because I'm tired of trying to get them fixed. I have never been able to wear them for long and I can't eat with them. A lady came to the desk and I asked to speak to the dentist. I took my partial out of my pocket and they got hung on the pocket and flew on the desk I guess she thought I threw them at her or that's what she told the dentist.

A minute later the finance lady said (get in here I will give your money back) very hateful I followed her to her office sharply put my teeth on her desk and told her she could keep them. She called another lady in and she came and shut the door and stood in front the door so I could not get out. When I turned to leave I had to reach around her to get the door handle her and the finance lady started slapping me and pushed me so I couldn't leave I put my hands up be to block her and then she started yelling don't touch me I finally got the door open she started screaming for someone to call 91 I pushed by her and left. Never will I set foot in Aspen Dental again. When I got home I had scratches on my face and blood on the bandage that was on my back where I had surgery. I want all my money have spent on the partial because they were never right.

Desired outcome: My money refunded for the teeth.

Aspen Dental Incomplete service, not finishing dental procedure

My dentist did a teeth cleaning, extraction, bone graft, and inplate and gum recession protector. Was told to let it heal and they would call me when it was time to come back to get fitted for my tooth. Gum recession protector fell out. Realised it had been awhile since I had seen my dentist.

Called to make a appointment with my dentist. Was told my dentist had left and there was a new dentist. Went to my appointment with the new dentist. Was to by their hygienist to buy products I did not need or would use. I told the hygienist no thank you. The hygienist talk to the dentist. The dentist came in and said I had to have my teeth cleaned and have the roots cleaned as well. And the dentist said they would not fit me for or give me a tooth till I had the cleaning done.

I told the dentist that I had a cleaning before this procedure was started.

Desired outcome: Fit me for and give me a tooth at their expense. For all the emotional and trouble they put me through.Or reimburse me for the cleaning, extraction, bone graft, and inplate and gum recession protector.

Aspen Dental 7-year warranty

I was supposed to get the 7-year warranty on my dentures. I paid for it, but I didn't get it. The Dr. was going to charge me for a reline. There was a recall on the part where the teeth sit in. I lost a tooth, but she would not make them over, so it came out again. They did not seal them properly. I know what she has them to do. If you say you will try the dentures, then they put in the paperwork that you are satisfied with the service. This is in Beckley WV. at Aspen Dental. The he said she said game that was what I was told about the warranty, 5000.00 for nothing. After they get your money, they are done with you.

Desired outcome: I would like for them to give me my money back on the warranty, also after 3 sets of teeth I am going to another dentist to get my dentures. They did not do the job I paid for.

Aspen Dental Dentures.

My wife went in Oct. 25th to order a new set of dentures at your facilty in Pleasant Plains, Wi.. It is now December 15th, and she still hasn't received them. She has called in several times and either gets disconnected, put on hold, or whoever she spoke to has no idea as to what is going on or when she can expect them. She just called again this morning and is told to come in Monday. for whatever reason, she asked but was told that the person on the phone did not know.

I am now asking for a refund of our $2500.00 so that she can go elsewhere to order them and get them much sooner if the dentures are not ready this coming Monday. This is getting beyond ridiculous. I expect to hear from you soon as to how you intend to proceed. Otherwise, I will start the process of getting our 2500 dollars refunded through all the sources at my disposal. Your advertising states that customers will have their new dentures in a matter of days. We are now at about 7 weeks, and still have no answers as to when to expect her dentures.

Desired outcome: Dentures ready this coming Monday, or a refund of $2500.00.

Aspen Dental Veneers

As of the writing of this complaint [protected]), I have now had the 4th veneer come off.

In February/March 2021 I had 6 front-top teeth veneers put on at Aspen Dental Mayfield, OH. This was due to an injury where some of the front teeth were broken.

I have since gone to another dentist and not only did they comment that the veneers should have been crowns, but that the veneers Aspen Dental put on were impinging on my gums and causing irritation and slight swelling.

I would like to be refunded by Aspen and we could put the issue to rest. If I have to take matters to a legal level I will certainly seek that out.

Desired outcome: Restitution of expenses for Veneers put on by Aspen Dental in early 2021. All of my expenses were out-of-pocket, as my job at the time did not include a dental plan.

Aspen Dental Product/service

Regarding Aspen Dental Office in

2021 (July), I had some extractions of my upper teeth. I was given a temporary denture until my gums had receded. My permanent denture was given to me in December 2021. In the meantime, the temporary dentures had broken. I was given no indications for the reasons this happened.

In April 2022, while visiting family, the permanent denture also broke, resulting to seek repairs. I was in Ohio and unable to get any assistance due to the inconvenience of your offices and it was a Friday, and no one was available. I called the local office and was informed to come in later the following week to get a replacement denture. I was informed to check to see if the denture fit, they did and nothing else was done. This caused major inconvenience and discomfort.

In September 2022, my replaced denture also cracked and broke. I wanted to speak to the doctor to understand why my denture continued to break. I was informed the denture would be made stronger. I still have not been given a viable reason for this defection.

On November 30, my denture cracked, I contacted the office, again, to inform them of this and was told to stop in the office to have someone look at them. When I stopped in, the next day, I was informed that since the dentures were not broken, I would have to wait until they broke before anything could be done. As you may know, based on my previous experience, I already know that once I attempt to eat anything, the dentures would break. That evening, I attempted to eat something, and the denture broke. I attempted to call the office, left a voice message regarding the denture, as of today 12/2/2022, no one has returned my call.

I contacted the office in the early morning, again was informed I would have to bring in my denture to prove they are broken. They needed to verify my dentures were broken. I was also informed since the technician was out sick, I would not be able to come in until Monday. This is very upsetting because while I was in the office the previous day, no one offered to look at the denture to verify there was a crack which would result in the denture breaking.

This experience has made me feel as a senior citizen there was some discrimination in the way this situation was handled. I feel in the medical field seniors are not taken seriously. It's not like I am chewing bones. How is it that one set of dentures must be replaced three times withing a year and half.

Desired outcome: Currently, I am looking for replacement denture and a full refund of the purchase price.

Aspen Dental Poor service and rude service representative at front desk

I went in to make an appointment for a cap on a tooth I had just had a root canal on. Girl at front desk asked what I needed and I told her. I was confused because she told me to sit down. I did sit down. I was finally told to go through a weedoor and talk to another girl who was much nicer. She worked me in and when I got home noticed the instructions said to have cap put on in one to two weeks. I have since been trying to call them to change appointment, but have not been able to reach them. Left two messages but have not heard back from them. I felt that several of the staff were rude. This was my second time there but I will not recommend them to anyone else

Aspen Dental They have false advertising

This was in 2020 the x Ray and the extraction supposed to be free well I paid for the first visit but when I went back for the extraction at checkout I had to pay for the extraction I was told that the dentist had to use a surgical tool which is the same tool they use for all extractions.. I will not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone I will drive a hundred miles out of my way..

Desired outcome: It would have been nice to get refunded since I had no job and I had to borrow the money..

Aspen Dental Cleaning

I felt like I was at a Jiffy Lube. Went in for a cleaning under insurance and then told I would need 2 cleanings and antibiotics put in gums Cleaning was covered but the antibiotic treatment was going to be $1,000. Decided to walk out .

They ask you to meet with an office manager then upsell

Problem is I have all my teeth, I’m 65 and see a dentist every 6 mos for a cleaning. I moved to SC and needed a new dentist. I’ve never heard of this before going in for a covered cleaning and then being told I needed a special treatment.

Going to fund a fair dentist office in SC .
