Our insurance contacted ATI Restoration LLC to rebuild our kitchen after water damage
Our insurance contacted ATI Restoration LLC to rebuild our kitchen after water damage. After waiting several weeks with no contact from them, we called our insurance company to cart them. ATI Restoration LLC said that they decided not to do the work on our kitchen. They didnt even have the courtesy to call us. I would not recommend this company at all!

ATI Restoration Services did removel and mitagation work in my home due to hurricane in ***, . The work was thourough, and well done and they used quality products. The crew headed by *** was knowledgable, courteous, on-time and patient with me. I highly recommend this company for Restoration. Mitagation and Property Repairs. Thank you from a very satisfied customer!
Don't get sucked into using this company for anything but mitigation
Don't get sucked into using this company for anything but mitigation. It's been a year and I'm still not back in my home. I could have built a new house in this time. Non-responsive for the most part. And they send subcontractors 4 and 5 times to fix the same issues. All the while racking up huge invoices that they don't share but want payment for. ATI made an already awful experience worse.
ATI was contracted with our company to do a restoration on a number of properties
ATI was contracted with our company to do a restoration on a number of properties. After three months of "work", the company decided to abandon at least three different projects that they were in the middle of. ***, Senior Project Director, has been evasive when trying to reach him about completing these tasks. Today, two people in a work van pulled up to retrieve their items they left at one of the sites. Completely unprofessional and terrible business practices.
This company is a sham
This company is a sham. Don't use them. I contracted with them in November to make repairs to the outside of my house. To date, they haven't delivered all the line items on the signed contract. Further, they reused old, broken, and dirty siding even and framing around the garage door. In June, the Project Manger, *** finally came out to see it and when I touched the siding, a piece fell off in my hand. *** agreed the workmanship was very poor and agreed to fix it, however, to date my calls are unanswered and the repairs still ain't done.
This company, ATI Restoration LLC, was a terrible experience for me
This company, ATI Restoration LLC, was a terrible experience for me. They did a half-assed job that ended up costing me more than my home itself. They even installed a broken window and never bothered to fix it, even to this day. None of the *** are sealed properly, causing everything in my house to be crooked and falling apart. It has been three years and they still haven't come back to fix the numerous issues that need to be addressed. Their lack of professionalism and rudeness is astounding. They will take your money and bring in uncertified workers from the street, without any proper paperwork. This company is absolutely horrible, all they do is scam their customers. Be cautious and stay away from them, they are no good.
I'm giving a one star review because zero isn't accepted
I'm giving a one star review because zero isn't accepted. BE ALARMED IF THIS COMPANY SHOWS UP TO YOUR DOOR. My neighbor had a fire and it took this company 2 years to fix his home. While fixing his home they used my property (without my permission) to access the neighbors roof. I complained to the project manager and he tried to fix the issue. After 2-3 months of waiting to hear from upper management, I called them directly. They still haven't apologized or resolved my complaint. As of today [protected]), still no resolution. So my message to you clients, this company doesn't take responsibility for their actions, they're not reliable and they won't fix your home quickly. BEWARE OF THEM.
This company is terrible, they take advantage of women and the elderly
This company is terrible, they take advantage of women and the elderly. They pretend to care about the customer, but they are just trying to rip you off. My site manager seemed trustworthy, but he had no intention of being fair. He made me sign completion papers even though the work wasn't done properly. After they renovated my home following a fire, my toilet flooded. The contractors were always causing delays. They promised me a two-year warranty on their work, but now the flooring in my bathroom is coming up and they are blaming it on tree roots. It's so unfair and awful. Please don't trust this company. The flooring in my kitchen is separating, the trimmings for my basement windows don't match, and my cabinet is detached from the walls. The bathroom tile is uneven on the walls and floor. I lost my son last year, so I was slow to contact them with my concerns. I finally called in April, and they said they were regrouping, but now they're blaming it on roots. Unbelievable.
This company is like, totally amazing!
This company is like, totally amazing! They get like, 6 stars out of 5, which is like, impossible but they did it. So, I had this water thingy going on in my house, you know, like a leaky pipe above the water heater. It messed up the walls and ceilings in three areas. But these guys from ATI Restoration, they came to the rescue!
I gotta say, in my experience here in Southern California, I found some pretty competent area managers. This dude named Blake gave me a quote and got things rolling. Then there was Mustafa, the scheduling manager and supervisor. He made sure everything was on point. And the worker, he was mostly the same guy, you know? He did a great job. He let stuff like texture and primer dry at the right times and used good materials. He really cared about his workmanship, you know? That's rare these days.
Now, there was this one part in the center hallway that they had to do over. They wanted to make sure the texture and appearance were just right. And guess what? They took responsibility for it and kept coming back until it was perfect. That's some dedication right there.
Overall, it was a pretty good experience. It's not every day you find a company that actually cares about doing the job right. If I ever need another restoration, I'm definitely calling these guys again. Oh, and by the way, my homeowners insurance company (State Farm) recommended them to me. So, you know they're legit.
Stay away from this Company
Stay away from this Company. In 2017, I hired this company after my house flooded. Recently, my house was leveled and I was told that they never replaced my vapor barrier, which ruined my insulation. I specifically asked if they did it and they said they did. I'm an older woman who lives alone, so I couldn't go under the house to check. I had to trust what they said. They also told me that the subfloor they replaced isn't even properly resting on the studs in several places. I had to pay $800 to fix the barrier and insulation. I contacted the Regional Director for help, and he said he would look into it the next day. But when I didn't hear back, I emailed again and now he won't respond at all. Before this, they caused more flooding in my home by connecting a dehumidifier incorrectly. They ruined my fiberglass tub/shower and after 4 months of arguing with them, they brought a plastic tub and surround, claiming they couldn't find a fiberglass replacement. However, I found one myself later on. On two occasions, I discovered that my home was left unsecured for days. They would disappear for weeks and only come back to do a little work when I got upset with them. Their work is terrible and they have no customer service.
Absolutely awful to work with
Absolutely awful to work with. Plese see my contact log below. There was a backup in a toilet upstairs that caused damage to my home. Plese see below timeline. Feel free to contact me if additional information is needed. Thank you.. Ultimately, I would like the repairs to my home completed to my satisfaction. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. 1/6: Both toilets were backed up and would not flush. Called *** plumbing as they installed a toilet upstairs. They said that it was a clean out in the attic. They cleared the clog in the clean out. This caused water to come down on the first floor. Previously had ceiling issues from toilets not being seated correctly. 1/7: Claim assigned to *** at ***. Tried to call to make contact and was put on hold for 36 minutes. Hung up the phone and e-mailed. 1/8: RMC Restoration *** (Contractor) assigned to come out and take a look at the house. 1/9: RMC Restoration *** removed sheetrock and floors and setup industrial fans downstairs and the bathroom to dry the area. The fans ran through the weekend. 1/12: RMC Restoration *** came back to check status. Sheet rock and floors still wet. The area was tented off with plastic sheeting and the fans ran until 1/15. 1/15: RMC Restoration *** came to remove the fans. 1/16: *** from ATI Restoration sent an estimate to ***. 1/22: Followed up with Homesite about the estimate sent. 1/25: Contacted *** Maderbach from ATI about the timing of the project. He was supposed to receive a work authorization from ***. 1/29: Still have not received authorization. 1/29: *** from ATI sent to the incorrect e-mail. Did
Would not recommend this company for restoration services
Would not recommend this company for restoration services. I have now signed 2 contracts and waited 13 weeks for a project to start and be completed and they have not accepted my product selections which are within both my insurance allowance and their allowance. They have told me now on multiple occasions that while my selections are within budget, they will not provide enough of a profit for ATI (as a General Contractor) to perform the repairs. I have exposed carpet tack strips and exposed concrete in a bedroom and am living out of boxes. Communication with the customer is not their priority. I am waiting on a call back, again from the *** team (yes, team, I am dealing with the Project manager, Project Director and *** director) so that they can finally admit a breach of contract and terminate the contract so that I can hire an outside contractor who is interested in being paid for providing a service. I'm sure there are many out there who would appreciate a paycheck give the current global circumstances.
To start, if I could go below a one star I would
To start, if I could go below a one star I would. On my daughter birthday I woke up two trees that have fallen through my home. First thing I did after checking on the welfare of my family was to contact my insurance company.
I made the claim and the recommended company was Lang Construction. I figure that if the insurance company gave the thumbs up then it should be okay. Wow, was I mistaken in placing the warmth and care of my home into the hands of Lang Construction.
From the start Lang Construction stated they where a couple(2) weeks behind, but would start soon. Two days after the two trees had fallen, the tree company was able to remove the trees, but water damage had already taken place. *** placed multiple tarps on the roof to help control some of the rain.
After the adjuster established an estimate I was advised that it wouldn't taken long at all for my family to moved past this. When the estimate was excepted by the insurance company, I was advised by that repair work would begin on the next Thursday.
I took that day off, and was met by the project manager. Project manager advised me that he was there to verify what the adjuster had written. I stopped in mid walk and was slightly frustrated. When the project manager was able to see my frustration he stopped and made the statement, well Mr what do you want me to do leave. I continued on with talking with the project manager, but it had gotten worse from there.
The project manager did not inspect the damage on the roof, in the attic, but instead walked around the house and said yup. After another week of no progression I began to get more frustrated at Lang Construction. At this point it has been three weeks with no heat in the month of November. I was unable to receive any heat, because the tree had crushed my exit pipe for the furnace. The pipe could not be replaced until the roof was fixed and boot was placed in the roof.
I again expressed my concerns to the project manager who again responded with well Mr what do you want me to do leave. I thought no I want you to do the job you were paid to do. It just gets worse from here. I was told a dumpster *** come on Monday and be placed in the yard and not the driveway. The next morning (Friday) I had already left my house and almost at work (6:00 am) and receive a phone call the guy was at my house and needed us to move my truck.
I contacted my wife, which took a total of 2 1/2 minutes from the start of call to her getting outside. When outside my wife had to yell for the driver to stop. The driver has already dropped the dumpster, and was leaving. The driver picked up the dumpster and scratched my driveway and moved it to the yard. The next day I was advised that materials would be dropped off. Instead of placing them in the yard, again they were placed in the driveway.
When I got home I noticed a small amount of shingles and two pieces of plywood. I contacted the project manager and was advised that those materials would be used to fix the house. I was advised that if they needed more materials then they would buy them. Again unsure what two pieces of wood would do for a house where two large trees had fallen on, but I let it go. See the multiple issues I then went to the attic and took pictures.
I was able to see over eight large holes from the size of a basket ball to the size of a sheet of plywood. There was also two supports that had been knocked lose, causing part of my ceiling to sag and crack. There was wet tree parts, and wet insulation in the attic. There was also other minor issues.
See no help was coming from the project manager, I reached out for help and was answered by the Director of operations. He called me and said he was getting on a plan for Thanksgiving and would meet with me the following Monday at 12. I explained to the concerns I had, and the inability to have heat on for a month. He said he would look at everything on Monday.
On the following Monday I met the director of operations, who called stating he was running late. When I met him he stopped by introduced himself, gave me his card, asked if I had any questions right now, and then got in his vehicle and left. I was so stricken by disbelief of what happened, he did not look at anything but instead just left.
*** began its construction on the roof, and asked if they couldnplace a key in a lock box to have quick access when needed. I did not worry about this, because of the alarm system I have and then the cameras that I have.
Part of the roof was replaced and I was able to get heat on the first week of December. Although I was told the roof had been fixed and all that was left, was the construction inside of the residence.
I had an *** tech that I trust to fix my heat, and was advised on other issues. I was advised that the in this person 30 years in both roofing and ***, the *** tech never had to place a boot on the roof it was the roofers job. I was also advised that the project manager had it out with my wife and the *** tech. I was also advised that because my *** tech was doing work it would no void the warranty for the roof. (We shall see).
I was told that shingles where damaged and placed on the roof, and could have caused a leak. I was also told that exit caps were still crushed and never replaced. So as any concern person would do I went to looking. I found damaged plywood, broken support beams, broken vent caps, molded sheet rock. On top of the molded areas there is wet insulation and part of the tree.
Being mad I contacted Lang Construction. My wife went through a transplant a few years ago and I have a little girl. There safety became my number one priority. So I asked to speak with the director of operations boss and was advised it was the companies vice president. Was advised that the company vice president would give me a call within two days. Well its been two days and no call.
At this point my insurance company has backed me in saying that they *** dismiss Lang Construction, and *** not charge me for another deductible. This company has failed to fix problems created by the biggest storm in Georgia for many years. This company also failed to obtain building permits that was required so the county could inspect the work. The requirement for a permit was confirmed by the county.
All I wanted was to have a warm safe house for my family, but instead I get this. Lang Construction should not be used by anyone. There are more issue that continue to be found.

ATI handeled remidiation of our condo after the 2021 freeze
ATI handeled remidiation of our condo after the 2021 freeze. Currently our *** is involved in a billing dispute between ATI and the insurance adjuster. Requests for back up information from ATI to resolve this issue have not resulted in any solution. This has been going on for months, resulting in the *** being unable to pay the contractor who completed repairs. The repair contractor will certainly have to resort to a lien on our building if there is no resolution soon. That will be a disaster for our owners.
I hired/referred ATI Restoration LLC for a cleanup after a home invasion
I hired/referred ATI Restoration LLC for a cleanup after a home invasion. There was a stabbing incident involving an intruder. They came to clean but only spent around 1.5 hours. They didn't provide any estimate for the cost of their services. They took chairs to be cleaned, but when they returned, they still had blood on them and were in the exact same condition. Additionally, they lost some rugs and rug pads. There was also blood left in the garage, basement, furniture, and walls. They charged a significant amount of money without providing a breakdown of the costs. I have been having a difficult time dealing with them regarding the lack of estimate, lost items, and improper cleanup. They didn't provide any explanation as to why a short cleaning session and leaving behind HIV-infected blood would result in a bill totaling several thousand dollars. To make matters worse, they immediately placed a lien on my home.
On 5/21, ATI came over because my insurance company told them to check out some water damage
On 5/21, ATI came over because my insurance company told them to check out some water damage. They started tearing things apart in July and when they were done, they not only left my house all messy, but they also messed up our ceiling by using the wrong tape. It was one of ATI's workers who noticed all the damage during the final inspection and he said ATI would take care of it quickly and properly. But ever since then, I haven't been able to get any answers or find out when they'll repaint the ceiling. I have 3 little kids and 2 dogs, so they'll have to cover up our whole downstairs and it's gonna be a big project that will probably require us to stay out of the house for a couple of days. I've tried contacting the Project manager *** more than 6 times now, but no response.

We hired ATI (American Technologies Inc) in ***, ** in December due to a small house fire inside walls around the chimney and ceiling
We hired ATI (American Technologies Inc) in ***, *** in December due to a small house fire inside walls around the chimney and ceiling and a single burned wire to one ceiling fan. No roof damage or smoke damage. Approx damage $25K to repair this area. They haven't repaired the fireplace in almost 7 months. Meanwhile, we are displaced out of our home and our insurance company is threatening to not continue paying for our rental and rental furniture because we chose to use ATI who is extorting them for 3x more than other companies to "restore" our house and taking 3x as long as any other company. They literally have been busy charging for everything they can to the total of $116,269.28 to our insurance company but still haven't fixed the one thing we hired them to do. We still have a hole in our house and can't live there. They have been busy charging for taking all our furniture out, cleaning and storing it and painting. They haven't fixed our house!
On 6/1, ATI started fixing my basement after a sewer backup
On 6/1, ATI started fixing my basement after a sewer backup. They're working on job #C3G-13-64513. Let me tell you, their customer service is terrible. They don't care about anything, it's all chaos and incompetence from ATI management. I had to make compromises because ATI messed up the measurements and said construction challenges were a big deal. And guess what? They later acted like those compromises were "favors" and used them as an excuse to ignore my complaints. I've been trying to resolve this for a whole year, but they just don't care about the facts and make up lies. It's a mess. The work they were supposed to do, like staining and finishing the doors, is still not done. And they won't even admit it. They damaged some of my stuff on 6/5, and guess what? They still haven't fixed or replaced anything. They kept promising they would, but it's all empty words. I've already paid them $15,915.03, but I still owe them $1,241.34. Can you believe it?
ATI started fixing mold stuff in September
ATI started fixing mold stuff in September. My place was all messed up because of the mold, thanks to La ***. ATI put all their stuff and covered the bedrooms to start fixing it. But then they just left and didn't do anything for 2 months, leaving my place the same. The machines were on all the time, and my electric bill went up to over $400 each month. I want them to pay me back for the electric bill because my place was unlivable and it's not my fault I have to pay so much. I tried contacting the Project Manager *** and the old manager, ***, but no one is answering. It's almost mid-January 2023 now, and I need this fixed right away. My A/C is working too hard because the walls are messed up, and my place is a mess. This is not okay!
I had a flood in my upstairs bathroom and hired ATI Restoration to fix the drywall damage in the garage and replace the trim upstairs
I had a flood in my upstairs bathroom and hired ATI Restoration to fix the drywall damage in the garage and replace the trim upstairs. ATI finished the job, but it took longer than what was originally agreed upon in the contract. The contract was signed on 2/3/22 and completed on 4/28/22. The original contract amount is $10,631.14. The contract included heaters for the garage to help dry the mud on the drywall and assist with painting. It also included a charge for moving items in the garage. However, I didn't receive these services as I moved everything myself and used my own heater to keep it warm. I called ATI to have these charges, totaling $1506.82, removed from my invoice, but I haven't heard back from anyone yet. I spoke to the project manager, Manny, and explained the issue, and he said he would take care of it. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I called the phone number on the invoice and the person told me to talk to the project director, ***. I left him a message, and two days later, I left another message. Still no call back. I called again and asked to escalate the issue, and I spoke to ***, the regional manager. He said he would look into it, but I haven't received a return call. That was two weeks ago. I'm filing this complaint to resolve the billing issue so I can pay the *** and close this out. The Invoice ID is ***, and my customer ID is ***.
We was told to go to ATI by our insurance in Oct 2021
We was told to go to ATI by our insurance in Oct 2021. ATI said they would replace and put in about 650 sqft of flooring and also change the cabinets under the kitchen sink and under the island in the kitchen. They kept saying they were working on it but then disappeared for months. After 9 months of me telling them to work on our house, we finally got our flooring put in. But, because they made me choose the color in mid December and didn't install the floors until April, I had to pay $700 from my own pocket to get the color I wanted because the original one wasn't available anymore. ATI said the cabinets would take a few weeks because they had to make them custom to fit under our kitchen island. They came in December to measure the cabinets but nothing happened. After I kept asking, they came again in March to measure again. Then I didn't hear anything from ATI about the cabinets until April. They didn't give me any drawings or ask if I wanted the cabinets changed. They just showed up with 2 big boxes and put them in, which made our cabinet space 9 inches smaller and they had to use shims and a 2x4 to hold the island up. When I sent pictures asking what was going on, they said it was their mistake but they still haven't tried to fix it and they're charging us for these cabinets. I've asked many times for a statement on our account but never got it. We had to pay another company to take out their cabinets and build/install new ones. I called corporate 4 times and left messages with managers but no one called me back. It's been 10 months of hell trying to get them to do their job and we had to pay someone else while they messed up our cabinets. I have pictures, emails, and texts to prove all of this. I'm also going to file a complaint with the insurance commissioner.
TO ComplaintsBoard.com, Please see below for a copy of the last email I sent AIT on 7/5/22
TO ComplaintsBoard.com, Please see below for a copy of the last email I sent AIT on 7/5/22. Today is 7/12/22, and the business has yet to respond. The email below is a recap of what I've been going through with AIT.
My email: *** (project manager) showed me the cabinets from Rainbow Stone, he ONLY showed me the sample PAINT on a piece of board which by NO MEANS represented what I was getting as a whole; I ONLY signed off on the COLOR.
I would ONLY accept the SAME QUALITY of cabinets as in Rainbow Stone; you cannot take a customer there and SHOW THE PRODUCT I WAS TOLD I WAS GETTING BY *** and then push off a subpar product to them.
I will NOT be paying a cent towards ATIs mistake.
As I said, I will only accept the same quality of cabinets as in Rainbow Stone.
If you're unwilling to do your job per your contract (already in breach since you did not start 2 months after the written start date or approximate to 4/18/22, plus the fact that you're giving me cabinets I DID NOT APPROVE), then I will ONLY pay for the kitchen demo and the drywall job done in my garage. I emphasize I will NOT PAY FOR YOUR MISTAKES AND SUBPAR PRODUCT.
ATI, your company, has made my life a LIVING H I have NO KITCHEN FOR MONTHS NOW AND I HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR MY FOOD COSTS SINCE MAY 2022 BECAUSE OF YOUR INCOMPETENCE. Since you, so called started this job, I was told time and again by *** were backed up there are other customers *** has Covid or on vacation (whenever I asked for her to provide a cost, etc), and on and on.
NO MORE!
ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT: my property is laying in boxes on my patio for over three weeks now, while the rest of my kitchen items are still in my old kitchen drawers, Laying on top of my very expensive handmade carpets.
I CAANOT SLEEP at nights, constantly worrying if someone is going to take my property. You need to remedy this ASAP, or I will hold ATI responsible for ALL damages and/loss caused as a result of your negligence.
There were so many problems with ATI Restoration LLC during the restoration of our home after a fire
There were so many problems with ATI Restoration LLC during the restoration of our home after a fire. They were the insurance company's favorite choice (American Integrity), so we went along with their recommendation for our major fire damage restoration. Instead of the expected 9 months, the job took a whopping 15 months to complete. We had to pay a lot of rent out of our own pockets after our insurance coverage ran out. And to make matters worse, they messed up 6 out of 8 pieces of wooden furniture during the moving and storage process. Some of those pieces were really special to us, even though they had a bit of smoke damage and smell. We specifically told ATI about this, but they completely destroyed them.
Their billing process for changes was a nightmare. They kept sending us incorrect bills, cashed our checks without applying them to our account, and conveniently forgot to include job credits. They even added an extra $900 to the final bill after the job was finished, and when we asked for an itemized breakdown, they refused to provide any details. It was a total mess.
They also submitted a handwritten contents inventory list to our insurance company, which was full of mistakes, missing information, and even skipped entire rooms. We ended up having to make our own list, and thankfully, we were able to get over $50,000 worth of additional contents covered (they did give us a small credit for our time, but it was hardly enough).
To top it all off, they forgot to include the wiring for the pool control panel and the garage door opener in our job. When we brought it to their attention, they claimed that we had reached the coverage limit on our insurance, so they couldn't do anything about it. Turns out, that was either a lie or a mistake on their part. When I discovered the truth, they didn't lift a finger to help and just told me to deal with the insurance company myself.
And let's not forget about their sneaky 20% markup on job changes. They charge it on the total cost, not the net amount, even though they already receive compensation for overhead expenses from the insurance payment. It's like they're double-dipping on every change.
Overall, our experience with ATI Restoration LLC was a complete disaster. They caused more problems than they solved, and their lack of professionalism and attention to detail was truly frustrating. We would not recommend them to anyone.
In June, we contacted this company for lead paint removal in a home we bought
In June, we contacted this company for lead paint removal in a home we bought. They finished the job, and later on, we noticed big problems with the glass. Most of the window panes they worked on had huge cracks. We contacted the company and they came to check it out. It took some time because we didn't notice the damage right away, but as we settled in and started living in the house, we saw it. They sent the contractor out to inspect, and he admitted the damage and promised to fix it. For the next year, I contacted him every few months and he just said he couldn't find replacement glass. Eventually, they assigned a new contractor to the job. He also promised to fix the damage. The following year, I checked in with him every month or two, and finally, he admitted he couldn't find replacement glass for our almost 100-year-old windows. He said the company would give us money so we could fix the damage ourselves and asked how much we wanted. I asked for the full amount we paid, $5500, because the damage was so bad, and since they spent over 2 years looking for replacement glass with no luck, it's unlikely we'll ever be able to fix it. The new contractor agreed it was a fair request since he saw the damage and couldn't fix it. I made the request in June 2022. I've had to check in every month or so, and at first, they said they didn't have an answer, and now they've completely stopped responding. The reason I'm making this request now, over 4 years after the work was done, is because this company dragged it out by ignoring me unless I reached out to them. I would have done it sooner, but they kept promising to fix the damage they caused.
