After trading in my 6 year old car for a new 2023 Santa Cruz I was informed by the sales person that if there was a problem in the delivery of my new car it would reflect on her personal review, not the issue with the car so I need to give her a perfect delivery score.
That should have been my RED flag, but being 79 I felt sorry for her. The car was to be detailed before I received it, but the guy just hosed it off and said here you go. The bird droppings were not even washed off which the sales person said I could come back for a detail.
I took it to the car wash myself.
Now, at 3360 miles, 840 miles after they did the first service at the dealership, the service message to change oil is running across the dash, an orange lite came on and stays on.
Called the dealership, and was told maybe in 14 to 21 days they could check it out. No other remedy offered accept to go somewhere else to have it checked.
Called Hyundai directly and was told not much they can do but make me an appointment, go rent a car and drop it off at the dealership and wait until they get to it in service check it out and call me. O'well typical car dealer.
Next step lemon law investigation.
