I ordered on 10/23/23 a fruit basket for a someone that lost their father. First basket never made it to them but was said to be delivered 10/24/2023. Had to call their number several times to get through 10/24/2023 and 10/25/2023. I filed a claim and never received follow up from them. The person that I sent it too let me know they received it on 10/26/2023 and sent me a picture. They sent a very cheap basket that had zero fruit and all junk food. It had things like goldfish, cheese puffs, chocolates, nuts, and other junk food items. I had ordered the fruit basket specifically because the receiving person is a very healthy eater. I called back asking for a refund or at least a partial refund because what was sent was not what I ordered and there was no fruit in the basket at all. She told me because I ordered a "gift basket" she could not do anything.
I explained a few more times that when you order a "Fruits Abound" basket it should include fruit. This is their description online (The Fruits Abound Basket is loaded with crisp apples, juicy pears, and tangy oranges, as well as cheese, crispy crackers, nuts and salami. I recommend you find local vendor to order from and avoid ordering here!
Claimed loss: $130.32 for cost of item and shipping as well as several days trying to resolve the issue.
