This is a review of AwesomeBooks, the UK division. I haven't tried their US division yet. I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with the company lately. They used to offer free shipping for 2 or more books outside the UK, but now they charge for it. That's a bummer. This company is not good at all. I ordered some books on July 15th and they were supposed to arrive by August 26th. I decided to send the company an email to ask for an update, but they never gave me a tracking number.
The next day, I received an email from Amazon - not from the company, but from Amazon - telling me that the books were out of stock and that they had issued me a refund. What the heck! In over a month, they never said a word about being out of stock. They just issued a refund with no accountability. Now, I have to wait 5-10 days for the refund to come through and I have to put out more money to buy these books again, if I am lucky enough to find them.

I only have experience with the UK Division of AwesomeBooks, so I can't speak to the US Division. But overall, I was disappointed with my experience. But then, I received another order, and this time the box smelled funny. When I opened it, a terrible odor arose, and I immediately threw it out. I should have just kept the book and cut my losses, but I forgot how much I paid for it and thought I would break even or come close to it. It's frustrating to be subject to false advertising, but I guess that's just part of the risk of international internet shopping like this.
