Backdrop Outlet customer service

all they have to do is call back. finally at the 4th try l got a human. no body ever called me back the 3 other times l left a message. the product l ordered at a show was sold out-ok, will get more in 2 weeks-ok. l see the same sales rep at the next show, he tell me the product is in. l still dont have. it's 2 weeks after the due date. no=w they tell me it will be another 2 weeks. my shooting season will be over by the time they arrive.

and fyi. when they ''spray'' paint their muslin scenes they dont unfold the ''folds'' causing a line of ''no paint'' hello. l mentioned to them to please water spray ''relax'' the fresh muslin to release the folds. theu guy looked at me like l was from another planet. maybe thats why they have bad customer service, the are from another world.

I've never had a problem with the lovely folks at Backdrop Outlet. My muslin have been very affordable, on time and painted throughout. I'm done wasting thousands at Denny.

Backdrop Outlet Non Delevery of Product

I placed an order on 9/23/09 for a backdrop set costing $1865.75 plus shipping of $130.00. The amount was chared to my credit card immediately. The set was never delivered. After many (over 20) phone calls later it was agreed that they would refund the amount I paid. This agreement was confirmed in an e-mail on 1/22/2017 from Jason, Customer Service. As of today plus an additional 4 phone calls I still have not received my credit.

I have caught this company's representatives in repeated lies regarding the matter. I just want my refund!

Evidently, from information I have obtained from the internet this is common practice for this company. Also, they previously operated under another name and was forced to change due to such a bad reputation and many other prolbems.

Bought a prop at imaging USA 2017 was told 6 weeks delivery. Never got it, never got a call or an email about backorder status. Called and was told I would have march 6, 2017...never arrived. I never got any corespondent from them about issue. Called again, extremely rude customer service. Asked for manager and got the run around about will call me back. Asked for owner they refuse to tells his name other than "Jay" I asked for a return call. Never got one. Now I'm told they don't have the product and won't for month. Making it a 4 month wait if it actually ever arrives. Funny how they had no issue charging my card and taking my money!

Backdrop Outlet Unfulfilled Order

I ordered at the end of October 2009, Backdrop Outlet's Five Piece Baby Poser Combo Set. Only after my order did I discover from the company that they had this item on backorder. I was surprised by this because most reputable internet companies clearly list when items are not in stock, and not the other way around. I was promised by e-mail and through instant messaging that this item would be in stock and shipped to me within a week. After said time had passed by and I didn't recieve anything, of course I contacted them back by e-mail and online messaging. They informed me that this item still did not come from their supplier but would for sure the following week. Due to being busy with personal matters I let a few weeks go by, and still nothing was delivered. I contacted them again and once again I got the same excuses about how they have not received the items I ordered and how they would send them out within two weeks, when they would supposedly get them. By the second week of December I received a shipment with only two of the five pieces from the Five Piece Baby Poser. Unsatisfied, I contacted this company again but I received an irritatingly indifferent attitude concerning my problem. I was always promised that once it arrives that they will send it. As of today, February 16th, 2010, I have still not received the last three pieces. Since then, I have found out that this company has a very bad reputation from the Better Business Bureau and I myself have asked the BBB for their assistance. Currently, I have tried to contact the company for at least a partial refund but so far I have not heard back from this company. So far my case has not been resolved and I am doubtful it will be resolved to my satisfaction.

I recommend anyone considering on buying from this company to consider otherwise. You will NOT receive your goods on time, if you will get them at all. Most likely you will be ripped off of your money. It is my opinion from my experience that this company actively deceives unsuspecting customers by falsly making their offered products appear to be in stock, when they are not, and attempts to steal customer's money by not providing what is ordered. There representatives confirm this with their indifferent attitudes to any and all contact, and flies in the face of good solid customer relations. If you order from Backdrop Outlet, you will be sorry, like me.

Backdrop Outlet Poor service

I ordered a backdrop a week ago for a shoot I need to do for the holidays. When I placed my order, there was no indication the product was backordered, nor was I notified that the product was backordered once the order was placed.

I am trying to work with them to resolve the matter, and a year or so ago, I had to cancel an order with them because of issues just like this. These guys are really bad at what they do and I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere for your photography needs.

Took SIX WEEKS to receive backdrop and was lied to about availability. Seems like I shouldn't complain since many customers never received their product. Backdrop Outlet is an irresponsible company with terrible customer service.

I ordered two pair of very expensive socks on November 28th and cannot reach anyone by phone to find out when I can expect my order. These were supposed to be Christmas presents for my two grandsons. Every time I call, I get a recording they are closed. The charge has been posted to my American Express bill in the amount of $54.00 including shipping.

I ordered and 3 weeks later product never showed. It showed it was in stock and later I track the status and it mysteriously changes to "Out of stock, no shipment available". I emailed them 10 times and called everyday for a week and they pass the phone around, or dont answer and do not return calls. I then disputed it with my bank and got my money back, and then a month later the company pulled the funds a 2nd time from my bank, they provided false shipping documents to show it arrived when it hadn't. (It was supposed to be 2 seperate packages as well.) It is now 3 months later, I have no product, and have lost $214.00

They did this to me with two Diamond Cloth backdrops. I was able to order with no indication that any items were backordered, my card was charged, and I waited. Eventually a package came and it had only the white one. I needed the black one for a shoot the next week. The invoice showed that my card had been refunded the price of the second backdrop but it sure would have been nice if they'd let me know at any point that I wouldn't be receiving the full order in a timely fashion. It ended up costing me the paying gig because I had no black as the client had requested. I still have not received the black. Backdrop Outlet could have easily avoided this situation by: A) Informing me of the back-ordered status at the time of purchase, or B) Informing me when they shipped half the order that the other half was not included. This is just basic stuff for online retailers! I contacted customer service and they totally blew off my complaint, replying with "thank you for your patience." What jerks!

They are awesome. I placed an order for a a $600 plus Platinum Cloth backdrop just two weeks before I needed it. Order status said it was backordered. I called them (yes used the phone rather than just rely on computer) and they explained these backdrops are made to order because they are basically printed on demand and delivered to their warehouse. They explained the time frame for them receiving it and arranged next day shipping for me. I got my backdrop a day earlier than I needed it. Customer service was amazing and they also allowed me to take advantage of two discounts totaling 30 percent on this purchase. I've ordered their diamond cloth backdrops too and received them same week with no problems. I am a photographer in Oklahoma. Danziger Photography. Quality of products is better than anticipated.

Yes same thing happened to me with Back Drop Outlet. Im out of over 700 dollars and six months later have not received my order. They never contacted me to tell me it was backordered. I contacted them by phone, or email and was told and still am being told lies. I'm surprised they don't have a class action against them because they have just taken alot of peoples money and ran. I will be filing some major complaints in Cali and for sure getting my money back and some. If you are dealing with their lies right now and they are telling you the product is back ordered and it was expensive-they are probably lying. They will send you their cheaper products in stock but thats about it. I don't even believe they have the products they say they do online. Its a scam. Run from Back Drop Outlet.

I placed my first and last order with BackDrop Outlet on January 2nd. I ordered several muslins and a stand with various other items...I called 4 weeks after placing my order and they told me that 1 of the items was on backorder. When I initially ordered NONE of them were on backorder. I have since received the backordered item and am still waiting on EVERYTHING else! I was told that the stuff did not ship because it was sitting in customs because of the Chinese New Year and couldn't be released fro 1 month! WHATEVER! So I had to have the stand by March 15th...they assured me 2 weeks prior that it would be to them and they would ship it on the 12th priority and I would have it...well today is the 16th and when I called them they told me that the muslins were still being processed...I said I realize that they take 4-6 weeks to custom make BUT that was Jan 2nd that I ordered them and I STILL don't have them...THEN the stand they told me today that they do not have the one that I ordered BUT I could take a smaller one at a discounted price and they would ship it today! I CANCELED my ENTIRE order and I will be watching my charges...They wanted me off the phone and didn't argue...I wasn't done expressing my frustration to them and they all but hung up on me! I WILL NEVER do business with them again...oh they told me they would credit my account with a gift certificate for my next purchase...I told them to KEEP IT because I would NEVER do business with them again! And to top it off the certificate was for $15! WOOPIE...after I spent over a $1000 with them that is all they were going to give me before I canceled the order!

I ordered in October of 2009 and I'm still waiting for things. I was promised Christmas delivery, and I only got some of the products. I had a shoot in January and it was critical that I had a particular product. I NEVER got it! This had been a very expensive purchase for me. By the way, Larry is the head of customer service and Paul Rodomski is the general manger.

I've contacted the Better Business Bureau in Ca. and am checking into some type of legal recourse.

I ordered two items on January 6th. One of the items was sent but it was a mistint. I called and they said that they would ship a replacement the same day and that the other part of my order was out of stock. Funny but when I ordered and paid for these items their website said "in stock."

Anyway I waited a week and still nothing. I called; they said both items were now backordered and would be shipped in two weeks. So I waited two weeks and now I'm being told I have to wait until the 19th and the items may be available then but no guarantee.

When I told them they were being fraudulent and I was going to report them to the state attorney general's office all talking was done. The man I was speaking with instantly said that he would issue credit for one of the items and send a return shipping via ups for the one that was sent but mis-tinted. Even when I said that I didn't want a refund I wanted my products he refused to say anymore.

Bottom line; horrible company to do business with. I'm not sure how they stay in business. Their customer service reps are rude and evasive and not at all interested in providing customer satisfaction. They take your money for products they don't even stock. It should be illegal. Stay away from them and be aware they also sell on eBay under a slightly different name.

I've also composed a strongly worded letter that I'm sending to the president of the company!

Backdrop Outlet No refund - no item

I ordered a backdrop stand from this website and after 3 weeks (although the website said it was in stock) it still had not arrived. I called and asked for them to cancel the stand as I needed one soon for a photoshoot. To this day (11/18/09) I have not received a credit reimbursement and the order was placed/canceled in July! Also, a holiday baby poser has never been received. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM, although the people on the telephone were polite - their service has been awful.

I ordered a roller system from Backdrop outlet in December and it's the middle of April now and I they still haven't sent the system. They told me they order from overseas and I'm next on the list, the last promise was they'd send it April 9. I haven't heard a word from them. They won't talk refund at all and they've already charged my credit card over $700.00 for the system and they did that the day after I ordered it in December.
I don't know where to go from here with them.
Be careful if you order from them.

Backdrop Outlet Bad service

Watch out for this scam of a company. They leave "In Stock" on the website so you order it and then when you call to check because it hasn't arrive three weeks later they say two weeks. Then you call back again and they say two weeks. They tell you 25 were mis-tagged or mis counted and they apologize. Then they say depending on the import delays it may be longer. They won't refund your shipping and if they decide to refund your shipping they say they have to cancel you order completely and you have to order again. Putting you even farther back on the list. If you get customer service on the phone watch out they're very touchy. You can't get irritated or they hang up on you. No price or deal is worth this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Maybe all of you who seem to have so many problems with the company should contact the Better Business Bureau and report this company so it can be shut down for fraudulant information and customer service. You should be promptly reimbursed the money you've spent and they should be sued for sending false documents to banks.
Stealing customers money out of there accounts is not something any reputable business should be doing.
