Have been receiving emails now solicitors letter fromThenys &Dyke with varying amounts of money stating I owe the last of which is €351.51.I originally signed with be2 understanding it to be in Ireland for 3 months paid membership after which I asked to unsubscribe. I have not had access to this site for about 18 months because I seemed to be blocked.so why would I owe money.Also I made 2 payment s in Decembers 2022 which I have statements for just to stop being hassled but it continues. I purchased a premium membership on 6 November 2023 (I couldn't attach the email confirmation but can forward to you separately if you require it). I had originally purchased (and had only intended) to purchase one month’s subscription (being around $25.00). However, when I checked my account I realised that it had taken $239.70 out (being a 6 month subscription).
I’m happy to pay for a month’s subscription however, I’d like to request a refund for the balance as the website made it unclear that I had purchased a 6 month subscription.
I confirm this wasn’t a matter of ‘change of mind” as I only subscribed last night, I would never intentionally purchase a subscription of this amount.

Be2 Dating site payment
Signed up on 18 Sep 2023. went to do payment wich reflected as R99 (I assume it was per month) I clicked on this R99 button. Then the sytem took me to entering my card details etc (which I did) Then proceeded to payment, which all of a sudden became R395 and charged me. I attempted to cancel this payment, by pressing the cancel button while still in the payment screen, but this did not work. Again I just got billed for an amount I did select.
Desired outcome: I want my money back. Or atleast the difference. I was prepared to by R99. Not R395

Be2 claiming that I still owe debt but I paid the first debt collection
I signed up for a month trial with be2 in 2021. There was no given time frame for vancellation period or that there would be an overdue fee to pay. They then sent me a debt collection letter based in New Zealand which I paid, this is proven through my credit score company that it was paid. They then recently sent another letter from a debt collector from Germany claiming I still owe be2 the money. I have emailed them but have had nothing back from them except for we are no longer in charge of your account. They claim they never received the debt collection the first time which is false as I handled it with Nz recoveries first time around.
I asked them to close my account through their preferences method ( formally as a pdf letter) to which they never responded.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate more transparency and more responses on how to resolve this directly. I would also appreciate them to close my account as requested numerous times before. And that they close my debt case.

Rip off merchants
Be2 does not send any reminders whatsoever but they can manage to harrass me for almost a year now. If they had sent an email that said "hey, your dues are up next week" I probably would have paid. Instead they go full attack dog with debt collection and credit ratings threats the minute they dont get their money. I do not how many times I have told be2 that I do not want to be a member anymore yet regularly demand payment.
As for "just contact us and we'll sort it out", that is utter [censored]. All they will say is pay us or else. It seems that is all they know.

I've sent the withdrawal request the same day of subscription, both via email and fax at the addresses in the Amore40 website,several times now, but so far I've received no replies. I have tried to cancel my membership. I have filled in the cancellation form they require and sent it in well before the membership was to be renewed. But they keep withdrawing money from my account. I have complained and sent many emails. They must pay back for month april and may. I signed up only for 1 month and it was March. Within the deadline, the membership was terminated but they will not answer me as to why they are ignoring the termination sent in. On that notice it also says that due to technical problems on their own website I was not able to turn off the automatic renewal. On the 21st of April $430.80 was removed from my account by be2 LUXEMBOURG LUX. I have never heard of this group and upon google search have discovered it is a dating site to which I am not a member. As a solo mother this is very upsetting and I am desperately trying to recover this money to help pay my bills. This is very concerning and I have also reported this to the fraud team at my bank.

Dating app subscription fee
This app is deducting R1000 automatically on month on basis without my approval. I only registered for a month renewal and now they are expecting me to pay each and every month. They are harassing me to pay and even escalating the fee - This is fraud! And the only time they respond timeously is when they respond to my query about why they are deducting charges. You and your agents claim I have I subscribed to your substandard site for longer than one month. Now you threaten legal action yet at no time have you provided any evidence to demonstrate what time period I signed up for at when I subscribed.
Communications from you and your agents (lawyer) have been vague and generic. I have no way of knowing whether communications are genuine or fraudulent as a result. I believe the claims against me are erroneous since I never sign up to any site for more than a month.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate that the claim for compensation and threats of legal action be dropped.

I emailed your complaints board notifying them that I returned an email to the initial communication I received last year with your erroneous claim that I owed money. Above, is written the complaint is resolved because of user - my - inactivity. I have not been inactive. I wrote you again, but you replied in an email stating you could not find my initial response. You said there was no record (another error on your part) of my first email. You then stated you could do nothing by way of customer service because you lawyers were now in charge of this.
In all my time, I have never come across such a cheap, deceptive and crooked organization as yours. On 2021-08-14 I downloaded the app to see what it is all about. I did not subscribe and only locked in with a free trail version. Within days I deleted the app due to false profiles and I wasn't happy with it. In October I started to get email from the site and I asked them to remove my profile from their data base and got an automatic reply of some forms that must be filled in. I never took up a subscription and never intend to take a subscription with them. Luckily I never entered my banking details on to the site. I DELETED the app from my phone and could not remember my login details. After I asked them to remove me I did not bother about it again as I fell ill and was in hospital for a while. In April 2022 I received a bill from them demanding payment. Once again I explained that I registered for a free trail and never took up the subscription and that I cannot understand why I'm getting billed from their side. The just replied that my case has been handed over to a debt collection company. I forwarded the mails to the debt collection company but it seems as if nobody is reading or understanding what I am saying to them. I kept on sending the proof that I requested my subscription to be cancelled. Now they have lawyers sending me demand of payment and threatening me with a huge amount of money that I must pay for something that I never used and asked to be cancelled. Please do not even enter this website because they are thief's and just want to make money out of you. I do not know how to sort this but I'm surely not going to pay the amount of money they are demanding from me.

Premium membership scam
On 18th February 2023 I signed up for a 1 month premium membership on https://www.40dejting.se. The advertised fee would have been 295 SEK. When I checked my online bank, you had charged me 996 SEK - THREE TIMES the amount I signed up for! What's worse, I can't even cancel because you are still "registering my payment" and there is literally no cancellation button. I called my bank but the payment had immediately gone through. So it either has or it hasn't, make up your minds. I have sent the highly inconvenient cancellation form you require people to email to you but I am highly skeptical that this will do the trick, based off of other people having done so in the past and still having continuously been charged by you. This is a scam and I demand you immediately return the full amount to me. I am no longer interested in doing any type of business with you.

Premium membership subscription
On 30/01/2023 I was scammed an amount of R1776 by Be2 single40sdating.co.za which becomes single40sdating.com when you login. The site said premium membership subscription of 6 months will be R74 per month but after I put my bank card details this turned to R1776 and when I pressed the cancel button I was redirected to the page that congratulated me for my subscription andconfirmed payment of R1776 which I did not consent to.
Indeed this amount has gone off my account and I had not at all budgeted for this. On the same day, 30/01/2023, I sent them an email requesting that they cancel the membership and refund me my money. I indicated that I am open to paying for 1 month as I looked at a few messages on my profile and responded after the premium subscription activation. Today is 03 February and my email has still not been replied to or acknowledged. When I went to the contact form on their website the page is blank.
They shouldn't have taken the money from my account to begin with. It's wrong for them to scam users by giving them the option to press "cancel" on the transactions knowing that this will result in them still deducting money from user's bank accounts.
Desired outcome: I would like Be2 to immediatley cancel my subscription and refund me my money urgently please. They can deduct 1 month subscription fee if needs be.
This is to inform the public and the Complaints Board that I have written an email to Be2 requesting that they cancel my account and refund me as the subscription WAS AN ERROR ON THEIR PART.

1. They are not acknowledging the fact that they TOOK MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I pressed CANCEL on their payment page and they still took funds from my account. I did not even receive a push notification from my bank as I usually do for legitimate transactions.
2. They have confirmed that my membership will only be cancelled after 6 months despite my request for immediate cancellation. Does the fact that I requested this cancellation immediately after being erroneously signed up not count for anything?
3. Their cold and blaming responses indicate to me that this is indeed a scam and their intent is nothing else but to take money from users of their site.
I would like to once again warn the public and the Complaints Board about Be2 and its websites. They all behave like one big scam.
Dear Be2. Your website stated that the 6 month subscription is R74. You didn't mention anything about R1776 until I was at the payment page. And also, please note that I did NOT purchase your subscription. Your website took me to a payment page where I found out about this R1776 for the first time. This is when I selected the option to CANCEL, meaning I no longer wished to purchase or make payment. However, your website still proceeded to collect funds from my account. Also, how does R74 x 6 become R1776?
1. Please refund my money. As I said, I'm willing to allow 1 month payment since I had a look at some profiles and replied to some messages after you took my money.
2. Your website has a problem which clearly shows that it is likely a scam. You placed the option to CANCEL on your payment page to deceive people into thinking they are cancelling the transaction when it instead proceeds to collect funds from people's accounts.
3. I requested that you cancel the membership immediately after this all happened on the 30th of January 2023. I still haven't received a response to my email to this day 07th February 2023. Please attend to my cancelation request email (sent to your customer care email address since your contact form doesn't work) which was sent to you on the 30th of January 2023. Why is it such a problem to cancel a membership I never even subscribed to?
4. I would like this complaint to be recorded here on this public platform so that everyone gets to see what kind of dating site you are and how you treat your customers.

I joined Single40sdating site on the 17/12/2022, while I was less than a week on the site I have realized that most male profile are fake profile, I tried to cancel it but for full 3 weeks when trying to cancel their subscription i was getting an error their cancelation page keep on saying the cancelation form is not yet available. On the 14/01/2023 I finally succeeded in getting their cancelation form, I completed it and submitted it to their email address which is [protected]@single40sdating.co.za, and they never responded until the 17/01/2023 which was my last day of their subscription and they told me that they can only cancel it on the 17/02/2023, saying i have to pay for the subscription of R999 because I didn't send them the request within their deadline but that deadline was never communicated when signing up and I have been willing to cancel their crap site profile. I am failing to understand as to why am I being binding to be with them while I don't want to and being rejected to delete and remove my personal information on their app.
And what also upsets me they have been trying to debit me that R999 every day and they are costing me for no reason, I am now owing my bank for all their dishonored debit. Can they please remove my details on their account, and please delete my profile, I am very devastated by what they are doing and I never benefited from their site. Since the 14/01/2023 I have been sending them emails but they are no longer responding. Kindly please help, they send me this ticket number -Ticket#[protected] for my request but it is not resolved, I won't be able to be stucked with this profile for ever.
