Hello, I am Carol Echols, Guardian of Annetta Echols and her sister. I brought Annetta to the ER and petitioned her for psychiatric evaluation and transferring her for inpatient care for stabilization. Possible places I mentioned were Pontiac General and Haven Wyck. A social worker came to tell me one place or two denied her for behavioral reasons. Well that is her history and didn't make any sense . She has psychosis and a brain tumor porencephalic cyst on right side of brain. In addition to history of schizoaffective disorder. Her medication is missing the prolixin tablet and milligrams may need adjusting for the depakote. I prefer the elixir which was what she was on then group home replaced it with the pink large tablet that I don't like.
Also I was told that Pontiac General was being considered but they didn't have a female bed yet. OK that is understandable . I indicated David Harris is on staff at Pontiac General and that was her psychiatrist during childhood and adolescence and this would be excellent for her.
The reason for bringing her to Emergency Room was at 9am Dec 11th I got a call from home stating she was yelling which isn't anything new. By the time I arrived by 12 noon I find her locked in the bathroom sitting on toilet with a diaper in her hand and mad and yelling, Staff female said she wouldn't let her clean Annetta. Would you believe they had to get a butter knife out kitchen drawer to try to open up the bathroom door? Then a resident, Jessica got it open. I don't know how long she had been in there and yelling. This is what triggered her with behavioral change, trauma. Manager, Morgan texted me to pick her up and petition her. The night before he texted me and said 6 officers were called to the house and I asked him why didn't you call me to follow officers to hospital to petition her
. All that and my sister is having some delusions of dogs biting her, etc. Please assure Annetta gets inpatient hospitalization to stabilize her. I will be back in morning. I stayed overnight from 3pm arrival entire night and left tonight at 8pm. She needs Eliquis and blood pressure meds and urinalysis for possible uti. A cat scan also to see if she has a brain infection. She has never had any infections just the cyst. Thank you, Carol Echols
Desired outcome: Inpatient hospitalization for stabilization with inpatient and outpatient care
