Overcharged
I ordered two mirrors which were on sale and I used a 25% off coupon which showed as “activated”. The next morning I looked at the details of my order and the amount had changed! I was overcharged at least $40-$45! I called to explain the mathematical errors and spoke to a very rude representative in some other country who argued with me for 15 minutes. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was, of course, not available but was supposed to call me. That never happened. I told her to cancel the order, she said it was probably too late even though the order had just started processing. I called back later in the day and the next person told me I could NOT speak to a supervisor. The order is on the way and if I want to return the mirrors, I have to pay the shipping which will probably cost me more than the amount they ripped me off from me! Horrible company, worst customer service ever!

I have been doing a lot of shopping over 60 years and it's rare that I give a customer review. But I must say that in the years I've been shopping at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I have never met more helpful and conscientious sales people. They seem to be everywhere in the store and they always seem to know what they're talking about with special products. As a former corporate compliance executive, whatever this company does to train it's employees needs to be replicated in other businesses. On the other hand, this may be why they're still in business! It's really truly amazing to get excellent service in this age of online businesses and brick-and-mortar companies that still exist.

Always has amazing deals!
I love the items from Bed, Bath & Beyond! I am not allergic to their lotions, which is a rarity for me. 90% of lotions out there leave me covered in a rash! But these creams that smell great don't affect me negatively at all. Plus the large number of fragrances is impressive too. I love their hand soaps, especially the new ones with olive oil! It's just not worth going to the store when their website sends me all kinds of great offers on a regular basis. The ONLY time I go to their stores is to return something and save the cost of return postage. I wait for big discounts or discounts plus free shipping before I order, and I have a ton of stuff from this company! Rarely do I find tems that are as great smelling and that I have no allergies to, so BB&B has won my loyalty.
The place where coupons NEVER EXPIRE
I am a long time shopper at Bed Bath & Beyond, but only shopped there occasionally because I used to think their prices were high; once compared to other retailers for the same product (i. E. Quest Protein Bars) I discovered that I was wrong. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE ON THEIR COUPON LIST! The $5 and 20% coupons can be applied at checkout that matches the amount of your order. In other words, while there's a limit, they give you the maximum allowed. I LOVE THAT! To be able to use expired coupons, they must have your name on them. In other words, you have to subscribe to getting them in the mail. The stores are ALWAYS clean and everything looks brand new. The selection of products is a lot bigger than most people are aware of. Their sale items at the end of each aisle offer deals one only dreams about. Keep up the good work!

They have all sorts of fragrances lotions, soaps, etc. Their fragrances consist of natural fruits and things like that. Things like pear fragrance, or kiwi fragrance, Gardenia, honeysuckle, or strawberries, or Coconut. Delightful fragrances to delight the soul! I know! I used to wander around sniffing at all their fragrances, sampling some, as you will find that they offer sample bottles, buying them if I liked what I smelled. One of my most favorite was and still is a watermelon summery fragrance that I love! They have all sorts of things you can keep in your bathroom and in the kitchen by the sink if you need to wash your hands! Look at their sight if you'd like and go to their store in person if you can and check out all their collections. You just might fall in love with their store and their pricings!

Yay! Bed Bath and Beyond!
Okay... I love bed bath and beyond. I love their shower curtains, I love their towels, and I love their... weird bird shaped... I don't even know whats. They have everything I love in a website: free shipping (although it is set really high at $99), and the ability to shop in CAD.
My only real complaint is that when Adam Sandler made "Click" they did not actually add... a Beyond Section. With Christopher Walken. Oh well. What can you do?
In all honesty though, I feel like BB&B changes their stock too often. I like being able to replace certain items in my home with the exact same item (so it feels like the kids never hit them with a basketball in the first place!). Also, it's really hard for potential customers to find items they're looking for after seeing them on pinterest.
When this happened to me with a ruffled shower curtain, I was sort of crushed!
Great 1st time experience
I took the plunge and ordered a Margaritaville frozen concoction maker through BBB. Our local story does not carry the product. I had a 20% off coupon which combined with free shipping helped me decide to finally order this product.
I found the website easy to use and my product arrived quickly. I appreciated the ease of reading product reviews as well as the format of the reviews themselves.
I am a little worried about what happens if the machine doesn't work properly as the packing instructions indicate not to return the item to the store.
The machine was packaged well but came in a box that took up a good portion of my front porch. My neighbors have been teasing me about it. Of course, now that they know what was in there, they want to come over for margaritas. Party!
So... since I can't return the item to the store, I am hanging onto the gigantic box just in case. Tonight is the trail run!
Pack and hold a winner, and customer service was unmatched!
My son decided to go to an out-of-state college. We had to furnish his dorm room, and since we were flying there, I bought everything ahead of time at the local Bed Bath and Beyond store. Told them I needed to pick up the items in Stockton, CA and they set me up with a registry through their Pack and Hold program. I had a good time walking around the local store with a scanner. Prior to my leaving the store, they printed out the registry to make sure the Stockton store had the items in stock.
When we went to the Stockton store, they had a few items pulled. I wasn't surprised because I had just ordered everything less then 24 hours before. I think if I had given them more time, they would have the carts full when we got there. The staff were all very gracious, but the manager, Briana, was exceptionally kind. She knew we were struggling to find several items and ended up giving us 20% off our total bill for our troubles! I was blown away by her customer service skill and would definitely shop at the Stockton store next time I'm in town.
Great products, selection, and customer service!
I purchased a LOT of items from BBB (mostly online) over the past couple of months, as we were furnishing two vacation rentals. We bought bedding, curtains, blankets, throw pillows, bathroom and kitchen items. They both turned out beautifully. We were unsure regarding our color scheme, so I ordered a number of alternative items in different colors and styles, which we later needed to return. Because of the volume of our returns, I called Cust Service to clarify the procedure. They told me I could just take everything to my local store. When we went in this morning, we were expecting a "cool" reception at best, in light of the amount of time and work that would be involved. Instead, we were greeted cheerfully by the Manager (Jane), who asked an Associate (Paul) to help us. Paul was very patient and understanding and managed to scan and locate all the items and apply each purchase to the appropriate credit card, as we had used three. They absolutely made our day by making this process quick and easy. I will definitely continue to shop at BBB!
The best service & products at same or lower than Walmart price!
Why put up with Walmart junk (both in products and so-called customer service) when you can get the same or better products at the same or lower price at BB&B?
I used to think that their prices were higher than Target etc. Even with higher price, their products were never like junks from Walmart.
In recent years, I noticed that their prices are really very compatible if not lower than even Walmart. And then their customer service is excellent. But I didn't know until last week that they would ship items to home without minimum purchase requirements.
Last week, I had to drive all over town trying to buy an item from Target. Target price was about 20% lower than Walmart on this one. But, they gave me wrong info on which stores had it. After driving to their second store and not finding it, I gave up. Target offered to ship it, but at extra shipping cost. I went to BB&B next door, hoping that they might have it. They didn't gave it in the store but offered to fed ex it to my home - and no minimum purchase or shipping charges. I am positive that BB&B probably lost money on this deal. I don't know why I have been shopping at Target (Walmart if not at Target, but really do my best to stay away from it.)
Teamwork of excellence triumphs over an individual employees lack of tact
I've been shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond for many years now, and will continue to do so. My wife found a blender for a screaming deal online at BB&B at a particular location that was too far to drive to. So we went to the local BB&B to see if they price match their own stores prices and an incident occurred. Long story short, the sales team couldn't locate the same item online so we left the store (a manager told my wife she had a "magic phone". My wife pulled it up again at our house and I drove back to the store to bring it to their attention (how to locate the deal online) and was not spoken to favorably. I was told, BY A MANAGER, that I had 1 minute because she needed to go see her grandkids. I didn't go there a second time to get a deal, but to inform them of the extremely low price online and how to find it so they could remove it from their website. After that I called their customer service line and left a complaint and was contacted within 24 hours. The 1-800 customer service phone rep was terrific. I believe his name was Clifton, or close to it. Brooke was more of a regional customer service manager and she was quick to contact me, ready to listen, addressed issues regarding the manager that told my wife she had a magic phone and me that I had 1 minute, and best of all, though I wasn't expecting it, Brooke even offered us the appliance for the amazing deal we found online. Kudos to Brooke!

I placed an order with a 20% coupon and when I received the email for my order the 30% coupon was not applied. I called right away and 3 more times. Today they told me I was out of luck because it shipped. This is a disgrace because the only reason I ordered the blanket was because I had a coupon.

I ordered a new navy-blue king-size comforter set, around the end of january first of february. When I received my order, the comforter set was vacuum sealed so tight that all the fluff was smash and never regained its original form/shape, it was as flat as a sheet. Also, the vacuum seal must have torn the little stitching pattern, the stitching was pulled so tight in packaging and shipping it popped the threads. Sadly, comforter is now garbage. I returned a damaged item to Bed Bath and Beyond for a refund. They received the item on Feb 22nd. As of today I still do not have my refund. I have been told by 3 different people that I can expect my refund in 5-7 business days. The last person I contacted promised to resolve the issue herself and provided me with a direct email to her if I did not receive my refund. She also mentioned the only way to get the refund processed was from the warehouse and that they couldn't process it on their end when I asked for someone higher up. This was on Mar 9th. I reached out again on March 23rd with a response received the next day that she reached out to the warehouse. Sent another email on March 29th with no response. I sent another email today on April 6th and mentioned contacting BBB and while starting this complaint, i received a response that they went to a supervisor and they can get me a refund. It shouldn't take mentioning BBB to get something to happen. Especially after I was told that they couldn't process a refund on there end at all. I still don't have a refund but was told 2-3 business days. Not holding my breath as I have been told 5-7 several times since Feb.

Gift Card
I got a gift card for my daughter for her graduation. I found it in her bedroom and called to check the balance and was told they are no longer honoring those because they filed bankruptcy. I called the company around a week ago. So it would have been the first part of February, 2024, that I called there.
I just found out that they are now with a new company. I feel that any remaining balance on her gift card should be honored by the new company. I believe that when they took over the business from Bed Bath and Beyond they also took over any money/gift cards that were owed to people. It seems to me that this is a terrible business practice to sell gift cards and then not honor them due to filing bankruptcy.
I believe that something should be able to be done about this.

I found a great double vanity online at Bed Bath and Beyond. Well it was great on the website. Get the vanity delivered and there is no back splash or power drawer as described. The leveling feet were not even with it also. I have now called and emailed them 3 times, with the same response. "That part does not come with a backslash or a power drawer". I placed two orders through BBandB and never received my order...ever. I was then informed that Overstock took over. Contacted Overstock and was informed that BBandB did not transfer over my order. How can BBand B or Overstock be considered trustworthy is beyond me.

I signed up for an O Rewards membership in July 2023 with the incentive of receiving $25 in rewards. In the same day, I reviewed two items and received $3 more in rewards. A few days later, Overstock became Bed Bath and Beyond. Fast forward to September 2024, and all of my rewards are gone. Bed bath and a beyond told
Me that my rewards expired. However, there are no expiration dates listed. I also checked their policies, and it states that rewards do not expire until 90 days after expiration of rewards membership. It also said that O rewards members would keep their same points after the merger.

We have been watching for sales on your futons for months. We finally decided on one. We just received it a couple of days ago, and we noticed it went on sale for $100 less.
