I’m very sorry to be complaining. I was at a Mall just looking around while I was on a very tight budget. The lady demonstrated the product on my face. I kept telling her that I couldn’t buy anything, but she wouldn’t take no for an answer. She wouldn’t tell me how much the product was until she put it in the register, then she told me the price. I told her that I would have to wait, but she still insisted that I buy it. I had to go ahead and pay $163.85 because she wouldn’t leave me alone. Now I’m sorry, but where I come from when someone says no, you stop and leave them alone.

It...

She grabbed me and started applying foundation & was pushy & aggressive. She continued to bring out products and I kept asking her the price to which she kept saying don't worry, we can discuss "soon after I put this makeup on your face". "how pretty you look, you look so young" - she just kept her sales pitch. She caught me at a vulnerable moment, and I...

I would like a complete refund because I was not given an itemized list for what I was sold, just a lump sum and I feel that I was overcharged because the salesperson said that she’d give me a few free items but for $450. I’m not ok with this whatsoever. This happened today 4/15 around 4:30pm at the Chandler Mall in Chandler, AZ. I have not opened any of the items and just want a full refund! I will be going back there to return the items tomorrow.
Desired outcome: I just want a full refund.
These people are horrible ‼️‼️‼️
Rebecca, did they end up refunding you ?
Mineral bb and foundation powder
On April 1, 2023 was at the grapevine mills mall in Grapevine Tx. I literally was just walking by a stand in the middle of the mall. next thing I knew this women had put some makeup on my hand and handed me a brochure. Then I started reading it trying not to be rude and like I was in a hurry and I’ll come back later. She was a very pushy. Seconds later I had half of my face with foundation and powder . Then while she is doing my face in a hurry I told her about how sensitive my face is and that I break out easily and try not to wear heavy makeup but like the full coverage look to hide my pores and my face is kind of red. Once I looked in the mirror it at first did look better than my face with no makeup on it. She told me all her ladies she sells to love how it makes their face look and how more awake and how great the coverage it is and you spend barely any time with a full coverage foundation look. I don’t know but she told me these items I need to get this flawless look. The lighting was so terrible, I thought it looked nice. Since I just left Sephora 20 minutes before she stopped me and returned this $50 foundation I thought didn’t work as good as my $10 foundation from cvs. My household is not rich at all. She kept pushing me and told me it would last 36 months. I walked away with items for $169. Immediately I knew I made a mistake snd something in my gut said wait until you see how many hours the foundation looks and what it would do to my skin or look in better lighting. And I asked for a refund which was told no refunds. Which is ridiculous because I didn’t even open any items. It was literally closing time. Once I went to the bathroom at the mall, I wanted to cry, the makeup made my pores show even more than not wearing makeup or my $10 foundations. It made me look like I was sweating and my face looked soooo terrible. I started researching, which I should have done before swiping my card. I am not someone who gets scammed easily and I feel so stupid. How can this company have so low reviews and is able to still have a table inside of a huge mall. How are all these people knowing they got scammed not getting a refund. How is the reviews so low but this company isn’t out of business?
Desired outcome: Refund. I have not used the product and will gladly bring back to the mall. There is a location in Arlington or Grapevine.
Return and get my money back for at least the product I never agreed to buy.
I went to Chandler fashion mall in Chandler Arizona on Valentine’s Day, and I needed to get make up and I was planning on going elsewhere but I was stopped by one of the girls that worked at a kiosk and she seems super nice and immediately sent me down and started putting make up on me and I had no idea what she was doing. She tried to fast talked me into purchasing everything without mentioning price and then when I asked her how much of the things were I was shocked and then she offered me a deal. I’ll give you one free if you get this and then all this other stuff well she was so high pressure. I felt uncomfortable and so I did like the brushes I was like I will get those I guess so she gave me those buy two get two free which they were still super expensive like $70 apiece $80 , she sold me the foundation the BB cream and I was thinking they can’t do that much because it’s foundation of BB cream. I’ve worn very high end products and I’ve never seen prices so high and my friend was actually buying the stuff for me as a gift and I had no idea that it was going to come to $365 for a BB cream a Mineral foundation and she snuck out another product that I never even asked for that was really expensive. It was some head I primer that I will never use and I can’t return it because it’s been over seven days. I am disgusted with this place. she was very high pressure, very pushy, and yeah I’m trying to get as much as she could. It was offensive and it was very uncomfortabl
And since it’s a one-man show basically every day at the kiosk, I felt uncomfortable going back and the make up it’s very mediocre. I’ve had make up that is 1 million times better that cost a third of the price. It does not stay well throughout the day at all, and it even looks very patchy as you go, you could see all your pores I am for sure never gonna be able to bear this in the Arizona summer. I mean it’s a nice light make up and it does look natural but it is definitely nothing special and I think that these practices that these third-party sellers use are disgusting and it’s a total scam , they do all they can’t get your card as quickly as possible knowing that they won’t refund it if you open the product if you don’t like it too bad they’re not gonna refund it or at best they’ll exchange it within seven days but again you’re so uncomfortable going back inside even funny if their product is so amazing it’s so great why don’t they back it up with a moneyback guarantee because the product sucks and also rising of those products that are on the clearance shelf at Ross that people have returned that are just pretty packaging that have a high price tag originally only so they can slash it if people think it’s a good product cause it was expensive that’s BS and if I were a ball on like whoever runs the malls in Chandler I would not want a company like that scamming the customers that come in there so if you happen to be walking by one of those chaos and they try and get you to sit down or try the worthless make up walk as fast as you can, or pretend to be on your cell phone. Do whatever you Gotta do or just tell him F off because they are only trying to rip you off. They are just trying to make as much commission as they can, which I totally understand but again when you’re ripping people off now I don’t have a way to get the make up that I actually wanted since that was my my gift to F getting the make up again for $365 I could’ve gotten much more from Sephora Ulta any of the department stores please please stay away from there. It is a complete scam rip off and make up. Is that great?
I can’t remember what that one was called where they did that swirl tap with the foundation brush and the mineral make up it’s kind of like that stuff. I mean it’s OK. It’s not gonna change your life though I mean I can’t believe how much does money what is threw out of the toilet by buying this garbage I got for foundation brushes, which I will admit the first foundation brushes were worth it because I got the two free so I mean I would’ve rather have gotten Mac make up brushes or Sephora brushes but these ones are actually really good so I will. I will say that they have nice make up brushes and BB cream isn’t bad at all and make up looks OK again not 70 $80 OK so just watch yourself because it is not what you think you’re getting any won’t know until you get home and realized what the hell just happened what happened as you got ripped off stay away from there
I wholeheartedly agree with you, I was part of a scam by Sandy at Galeria Mall in Houston last Tuesday, 21 November 2023 2:45pm. She was so pushy, didn't listen to my request of the price - she just kept taking more products and kept talking without letting me talk. She was horrible, I am a widow living on SS exclusively and I cannot afford this - $378.82 - Galeria 131 - Invoice 5305
I will continue to write this until I get a credit to my Debit Card they have the information. I read that the Corporate office is a wholesale operation - they distribute to Independent Retailers. This means that the corporate office delegates all power to them.
I was employed there
I was employed at bella terra at the Nashville mall for 6 days, the manager was intensely aggressive and pushy, has no empathy for employees or custumers, fakes kindness to make you think she cares about you just so she can get as much money as she can off the custumers. when she saw I was a gentle and kind and empathic person and that I have a problem with luring and lying to people just to push them to buy, she fired me on the spot and told me I have a day to leave the workers apartment after I came all the way from Israel not being made aware of the fact this job would require me to lie and aggressively mentally rape people into buying. good products, but no soul.. only hunger for money and no sense of morality or respect and empathy for people.
Desired outcome: I wish the world becomes a better place and innocent people dont keep getting taken advantage of by sharks
I agree with you, so unfortunate that you were in this situation, not everyone is like them. They are horrible, I was tricked into buying products $378.82 worth. Continue to be ethical and have empathy for everyone. Best of luck
Foundation and powder
Changed mind about products purchased at North Star mall in San Antonio TX and attempted to return items. Told they will not refund money even though the purchase was made less than 24 hours ago. Products were not opened. Purchase was made on Saturday, 07/23/2022 and attempt to return on Sunday, 07/24/22. Purchase made at 7400 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78216 in the middle of the mall.
Desired outcome: Refund
The price was outrageous after thinking about what I spent after a long day of school shopping. When purchase was made I was never told that I would have issues returning the items. ~Sowkgomez
bella cosmetics bay brook mall 5/23/22 around 1:30
I felt accosted by sales person who started applying products to my face as I stood there and told her I was not going to buy anything and didnt want to waste her time. She literally would not stop. She had an attitude and I felt forced to purchase. I ended up paying 80 for some eye brow powder. I was so pissed I would not look at her. I had my son return it an hour later and they refused the refund. The back of the sales slip said refund within 7 days and they refused it. Who would ever purchase from such a horrible company. Imagine Dillards operating this way. They are scam artist. They mark the product up to make their money. Its a cheap product sold at twice the price of channel. They barter the price which no one in retail does. They start ridiculously high and act like you ae getting a deal as you are ripped off. This was my second time being treated this way and I think everyone should be aware of such shady practices. No refund although it is printed on the back of the receipt. It is because its their cut of the sale.
Desired outcome: refund
Bb cream allergic reaction
I bought this BB cream on May 21, 2022 and the packaging is damaged and it’s unopened but unfortunately the product did give me an allergic reaction as the day went on and I took it off it left me with this burning sensation that I still feel around my eyes and my mouth and my cheeks and some spots that look like hives. and I wanted to see if I could return it but unfortunately the lady told me that I wasn’t given the right receipt and that if I had the right receipt they could see that we can only do exchanges, and she told me I could have anything else but I just can’t have a refund and I told her ma’am The product gave me an allergic reaction on my face that didn’t go down for quite a while last night and I don’t think I wanna buy another product but I don’t know is it if it’s gonna do the same and she was like well we can either do that or nothing. And non stuck with a product that causes any nuisance to me and my health.
Desired outcome: Refund and take the product back
Fraud/Scam Kept my money after I returned products
The location at the mall sold me 165.00 worth of products. After walking outside and seeing how terrible it looked on my skin I returned within ten minutes to return the products. They told me they could not issue my refund and to email the corporate office on Monday. I reached out to the office and no response they stole my money! I'm still fighting to get it returned. Stay away!
Desired outcome: Money returned!
Service and overpricing at Baybrook Mall, TX
I got pushed in the checking out Bella Terra and bullied into buying their products at the Baybrook Mall in Texas today March 16, 2022. The lady working there kept pushing and pushing skin care products on me and I kept telling her over and over again that I could not afford them. No matter what I said, she would not take no for an answer. She kept throwing...

Bought $400 worth and was told if it didn't work they would refund my money. They lied ! I was allergic to the product and the same person that told me he would refund me denied ever saying anything. I called his manager and he said the same. I now have all of these products that I can't use. They need to be investigated. They are very deceitful. I will never do business with them again. I will tell everyone I know.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement
The same thing happened to me last Tuesday at Galeria 131 Mall in Houston, but I will continue to be vocal in every posible way that I can be.
This is a time to be relative/family to a mob family like a "strong mean politician" and make them pay and respect people, shame on them.
This is the way they operate - all salespeople have to be aggressive and bully people out of thinking you are wrong in not buying their products.
I wish I had had the strength to have left her talking by herself, she searched for a victim, and it was me. I will never forget her as long as I live in a bad experience way. I need my $378.82 ! I have the products exactly how she put them in the bag - oh she didn't give me an itemized receipt, when we requested it, she had put $69.00 for something that was not part of the transaction - BEWARE !
BB Cream / Foundation / Blush
After having the mineral makeup on my face for 20 minutes it looked really cakey and bad like it did not blend well and started to make my face feel tight. I went back immediately to the kisok to return the unopened product and they would not return it even though on the receipt it states, "Returns within 14 days on not used products only." It has been less than an hour and the person refused to return it. The sales person never told me I couldn't return the product when I bought it. I spent over 200$ and the makeup is horrible.
Desired outcome: Refund my money and I will return the products

Product
She stopped me in the Deerbrook mall to give me a flyer. Then she asked me to sit down and give me a make over . She was going so fast that I was so confused. She kept adding items saying they were gifts . She sold me everything 50 to 60 over what I found them online for . My total she charged my card was 389.64. It is ridiculous.
The unethical and unacceptable behaviour of the representatives
I really wish there was an unlike button for this store for this [censored]ty outlet of Bella terra cosmetics in Memorial city mall. They have the most worst representatives there and customer service who force people to buy products and try makeup and when you deny they manipulate you to buy the items. I walked out of the apple store and a lady called out asking...

The salespeople took advantage that I was with my kids and was distracted trying to keep them from wandering off. Two women tag teamed me and manipulated me into buying products that are complete garbage. The moment I got home the stuff had melted off my face. The moment tapwater touched my face the product started just smearing down. This is completely unacceptable. I am still in shock and ashamed that I gave them the time of day just because I was trying to be kind, but they made sure to take advantage of all that kindness

selling tactics.
I was walking through Stonebriar Mall when I was very aggressively approached and before I knew it my makeup was being partially removed by a fast talking sales person. They get your credit card & charge it without telling you the total cost. Before you know it your holdings bag with products receipt in bag. You are not told the product is non refundable until you look at the receipt. Almost any reputable store allows refunds on cosmetics. Buyer beware do not stop at kiosk. You will need to be rude & keep walking
sales tactics
My 14 year old daughter was coerced into buying foundation and brushes for $80 after one of the Houston Galleria kiosk sales guys fast talked her into a demo. Their sales people are the WORST and are constantly accosting passers by with the old "Can I ask you a question" or "What make up do you use?" Just leave people alone, already. If they want make up, they will walk up to your counter. They all use the same spiel, so have obviously been trained in how to trick people into sitting down and then are pressured to buy the makeup. By the way, the make over he did looked awful-her face was caked with a dark baseline. I will be returning the unopened product tomorrow and if it is not accepted, I will be going to the Galleria office to file a complaint. And you can be sure next time I walk by the kiosk and one of the annoying sales people steps in front of me, I am going to make a huge scene. Or perhaps pull out my own makeup and ask if he or she wants to try it. I am SO TIRED of this crap.
Literally just happened to me they did not tell me it was non refundable or better yet the receipt does not say non refundable. As I am refunding my item at one of the Kiosk . The lady kept saying she did not sell me the product and I made her loose a sale because I was standing behind her while she was helping someone ? Like huh …… I cussed her out and said if your products are [censored] that speaks for itself . Excuse my language . Also the mirrors they have are another way of selling their makeup the lighting in the mirror is all apart of the scam

March 12, 2019
I was walking through galleria mall in Houston, as a tourist from Australia. I was a little disorientated in such a big mall, so I was looking down at my phone to find where I was going. Suddenly an arm gabbed me and another hand came towards my face and started applying some kind of product. I was so startled I stepped back, only to be pulled towards a sales assistant and him starting his speech about some kind of make-up product that he had already applied to my face without my consent.
I straight up asked if he could wipe it off as I have allergies to make-up products and didn't want what he was offering, but not only did he disregard what I had said but he kept applying the product and cornering me so I could not leave. He kept saying "you won't be allergic to 'our' products, they're all natural etc etc". At this point I didn't know what to do, I honestly didn't know how to get away from this situation; being in a foreign country I honestly wasn't sure what my rights were. In Australia it would be assault to grab someone like that, and to touch someone without consent would also be unacceptable. I think I panicked in this moment, and asked if I could leave now because someone was waiting for me etc etc, but this guy did not give up.
Eventually he started saying I had to buy the product he just used on me, and again I wasn't sure of my rights in this situation, and I thought he must have opened a shade of the foundation specifically to use on me so I just handed over the money and took the item I didn't even want. Just to get away from him!
I left the stand and went straight to the nearest bathroom, because my face was already suffering an allergic reaction from whatever products he had applied. I left the mall red faced, itchy and so disappointed.
A few hours later I Also realised he had short changed me by about $10 from what he told me the total was. I honestly think whatever sales tactics these employees are being taught, is completely unacceptable/ unethical. I felt so uncomfortable, my explicit no's and asking them to stop were ignored, and the other staff at the stall seemed to be completely ok with what was happening. Not only that, but the products are greatly overpriced and of low quality.
After going online and seeing all these similar experiences, I realised I'd been scammed. Bella Terra cosmetics website states that they don't provide refunds at all, so I don't expect to ever see that money again. I also returned to Australia not long after this incident. In an ideal situation I'd like the company to pay to ship the product back to them and also provide me with a refund/ apology. But I am doubtful a company run so poorly would bother.
