I purchased 4 of these units for my airbnb that I can manage remotely in case I need to oversee/control the temperature while away from my home which I was at the time of purchase.
I paid to have them installed by electrician and over time observed them as I wanted to see if they were something I could refer to help other private renters and airbnb owners to use. I realized they do not work well and provide intermittent functioning.
I have my airbnb listings suspended to ensure these work properly and have the greatest difficulty in getting support from the company. The company reps seems to like to send email but no one is willing to speak to me by phone to address my support issues or concerns. They have ignored call back requests and so far I had to turn on my baseboard heat as the units don't work as advertised. I cannot get support from the company and therefore I will be creating review videos to post on my review website and social media showing each of the 4 units and their lack in operations. I bought them from your company online and therefore reaching out to you before I create my videos as this company should not be allowed to sell on your marketplace where I bought them because I trust bestbuy as a company and not provide adequate support
Claimed loss: $2,199.96
Desired outcome: They either refund my money or collect their broken units since they are unwilling to provide adequate support. I might submit a complaint also to BBB
