Blidz, inc. around the first week of May 2024, I downloaded and was using the Blidz app to play two games along with treasure hunts. If you win so much you can cash out to PayPal and several other formats. I didn't know you had to subscribe to a membership of $12.99 to cash out any amount. In my case $3.00. so it popped up that I could join for $12.99. I chose to decline the offer. Made sure I checked the app for no active membership and even emailed them to make sure that it didn't subscribe me to this because my friend said it did that to her. After I emailed them I deleted the app. It had been 7 days and I had a charge for $12.99 on PayPal. It said my three day free trial was over and my membership had started. It had been seven days not three and they decided to charge my account and the app had been deleted for over a week. I've contacted Google play and I have sent 9 emails to the only email Blidz has. I've sent copies of my receipt and copies of every email. I've tried to use the only phone number they have and it's says this number doesn't work. So they won't answer calls or emails and I can't get my $12.99 back. My electric was off for 6 days because they did this. I'm not a stupid person and DO NOT make purchases or spend money unwisely. I had my bill money in my account and took extra measures to make sure I wouldn't be charged because my friend warned me. I didn't do any shopping, I just played the games for a couple days. Now how do I get my $12.99 back? Very poor customer service that they won't send a simple email and give me some answer. Even if they told me to go to hell that would be something. I won't be scammed again. And I'm researching how to take further action against a company that I know has done it to two people for sure. I refuse to download and sign into the app because I have no interest in even looking at what the site has to offer.
Claimed loss: $12.99
Desired outcome: I would love to have my $12.99 refunded back to my original payment method

Hello I submitted the original posting about the unauthorized charges from Blitz... Honestly I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. I never did hear from anyone from Blitz. Nobody care enough to message me about my issue or apologize for what happened. But I did receive a refund after I filed the complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I've never done that before but I guess it worked.
This happened to me same thing i cannot teach them at all
I.meant reach them
I am having the same problem. Ugggghhh...
I have lost 25.98 so far and I can not get them to stop charging my card. My bank told me to contact them directly and handle the problem otherwise it was going to take 90 days to investigate. My bank was very kind and gave me the phone number to the company. A phone number which they do not answer. This seems to be a huge problem. How can companies like this continue to exist and steal from people?
