I used their services a few times in the past and I was happy but they changed.
I made a simulation on their website to estimate the cost and to check if the products I want to purchase are not prohibited and it was fine. (Haircare products).
I bought two items on Amazon and both items arrived to Borderlinx but they will not let me to ship those two very small items to my address overseas saying it's prohibited to ship those items.
I thought of an alternative to ship to my friend in the USA and then he will help me but Borderlinx is asking me to pay 50usd for that (it should not cost more than 5usd for such mini items) + they want the payment to be done only by Paypal (I have no Paypal account and I don't want to open one).
I was chatting with their useless customer service, the operator asked me to provide the link on Amazon of the product I bought which I provided and he said "you see they don't ship overseas so we cannot ship to you". I tried to explain him the purpose of their company is to ship to other countries where sellers are not shipping...
The operator said he will make a request to lift the prohibition but nothing was done. They want to get 50usd for shipping locally from USA to USA.
I have spent about 60usd for those 2 products and they want 50usd for local shipping. Amazon is shipping locally for free those items.
I also asked the operator if it's possible just to return those 2 items to Amazon. I don't want to pay 50usd and to open a Paypal account... but they rejected, they want also 50usd to return my two items and they want me to pay by Paypal.
If borderlinx can ship those items back to Amazon I will close my case.

wrong shipping cost
Recently I purchased some items online and used Borderlinx. I must say that their customer service is polite and friendly, but very unprofessional and unhelpful. I will not use them again, because they could not fix my issue. They gave me completely wrong shipping cost, what I find pretty unprofessional for a shipping company. I'm very disappointed. I did not receive my items for ages, because the shipping fee I paid was wrong, and no one ever informed me. This is my opinion based on the experience I had with my only time usage from them. I'll never use them again.
I started usinf Viabox three years ago and have been satisfied so far. I enjoy cheap shipping, free storage up to 180 days. They are my best option

waste of money
I decided to try Borderlinx service but that was the biggest mistake I've ever made! I paid a lot of money to have a shipment sent from the USA to China. Weeks passed and my package was never delivered! I contacted customer service and was told that the package was stuck in customs! I asked them to contact DHL, but they just ignored me. So I ended up contacting DHL myself. This service is absolutely useless! I'll never use them again!
Do not waste or try them anymore. I recently used Viabox and they were 75% cheaper than most providers. They also surprised me with 180 days free storage which I used before renting my own warehouse.
worst shipping service ever!
After years of searching I finally found something that I've always wanted! So I made an order and was so excited with my purchase! But Borderlinx damaged my item by slashing the envelope open with a box cutter! I contacted them and complaint, but they said that it was not their fault and my item was already damaged! No it was not! I'm so sick of these lies! They told there was nothing they would do about it as they would have reported the damage to me if they had caused it. No one else could have caused this damage! Do not use this despicable company!

i had a parcel that was delivered on 12 January, 16 and received by the same person who received my other parcels. Nothing came into my suite so I contacted you and I was told that the package was mis- delivered as it wasn't received into your address. I contacted the shipper and the merchant and they confirm the correct delivery. The merchant also contacted your executive director and confirms that the address is correct. Then, I received a reply to my email saying that it was located in the warehouse so I need to check my account. When I checked, there was nothing in the suite so I send an email again. Today, they replied saying that it wasn't delivered and I need to contact the shipper. its been 5 days and still the issue wasn't resolve. The respond very late and they don't give you good reasonable answers

It amazing that Bordelinx does not have the knowledge about sales taxes in European Counties. They only know 21%, while in Netherlands on food is 6%. By lack on knowledge, they overcharging Customers. I spoke to them and they told me that I ( Customer ) had to proof the 6% !? Apparently they do not have that basic information. Please be very careful with Borderlinx, they are a bunch of amateurs

Even if you send them a mail on the claims with pictures and everything still they try to wash of their hands citing the original shipper issue. What a crap service. At the time I registered as a member, Borderlinx was not a "3D Secure" merchant. Customers were not required to have a mobile phone in order to pay by Citibank credit card.
Used Borderlinx services and paid by Citibank credit card several times with no hassle.
Borderlinx sebsequently participated as a "3D Secure" merchant without notice. Customers are then required to have a mobile phone in order to pay by Citibank credit card.
Having no knowledge of the changes (negligence of Borderlinx), I placed an order as usual and had the order delivered to Borderlinx for shipment. I do not use mobile phone and therefore cannot pay by Citibank credit card any more to release the shipment.
Borderlinx Support suggested me to modify the payment method to PayPal.
I accepted their suggestion, but when I tried to make payment by PayPal, I discovered that the shipping charges for payment via PayPal (US$33 something) was ridiculously higher (more than 40%) than that via Citibank card (US$22 something).
Borderlinx Support insisted that the shipping charges had not changed, but did not allow me to prove the changes.
To prove the changes, I need to modify the payment method from PayPal back to the original Citibank credit card. They said the payment method could modify once only and could not change back.
This is cheating and disgraceful. I wasted my money on the order unreasonably withheld by Borderlinx and wasted my time in negotiating with the unhelpful Borderlinx Support.

Borderlinx is a scam! First, it charges a ridiculous amount of money. In my case, the delivery fee is worth almost as much as the item to be shipped. The expensive price would have been okay had the service been good. But it was as bad as it can possibly get. The delivery was delayed, and worse! The delivery man collected another 3, 480 Yen from me! That's 3, 480 Yen OVER AND ABOVE THE EXPENSIVE AMOUNT they already charged. So, yes. Don't use this service. It's a scam.

Dont trust this bunch! I had a disagreement with a seller on ebay. The resolution was closed in my favour. The seller contacted borderlinx (As this was the postal address) and they suspended my account?
They also supplied the seller with sensitive information about my business without my authority.
This had absolutely nothing to do with them!
I had already paid and received the parcels in the uk and had never made any claim.
Their pathetic "offshore" customer service believed that they had some sort of moral standing ground about how the seller had been treated?
It is absolutely pathetic.
If I want to be treated like a criminal it would be over more than a $9 gps.

When you send your package to borderlinx, you will find your self falling in a big hassle with their customer service, no one answering you, missing packages, receiving mails related to other customer, a hell of troubles with them, I advise everyone not to deal with this unorganized company

First, this company claims to provide cosolidation services which is incorrect, as they ship you each box that came from each website seperatly. And when you ask about that, they say that the consolidation is theoretical and not physicall. Which is stupid because you don't save a thing that way as the volumetric weight will not be reduced.
Second they say they will repack your items to reduce the cost, guess what, wrong again. I recieved two packages that could have been repacked and reduced to 1/10 the volumetric weight, But they refused to repack them stating that the repacking was optimum. I ended up paying more than 200 $ for merchandise that does not exceed 95$ value. I paid for a ton of crumbled paper and paddings that were unnecessary.
Last, they precharged me duty and tax, i said okey. But when I recently changed the company and shipped with another parcel forwarding company, they did not precharge me duty and tax, they said IF THE CUSTOMS CHARGE THEM, YOU WILL PAY FOR THEM ON DELIVERY. Guess what, the customs did not charge duty and tax, although the declared value of this shippment was much higher than the one shipped via borderlinx. Which means, what they charged me for taxes went streight to their pockets. ( I actually contacted the customs in my country, they told me they do not always charge duty and tax, only in some cases: suspected commercial shippments not personnal).
Stay away of them. Honest advise ( am posting this everywhere)

I strongly feel there consolidation service helps to save a lot on shipping cost. If you are shipping multiple packages, you can have a first hand experience on HOW much you can actually save. Borderlinx is a well known scam shipping company stealing packages, marked up shipping prices, fake re packing, been reported by multiple uses over different complain websites. Don't use them.

It is EASY to get a Shipping Cost Estimate before purchasing the item using their Cost Calculator given on their website - http://www.borderlinx.com/en/shipping-cost-calculator. From what I noticed, customer do not have a clue how international freight works and buy bulky items which may lead to higher shipping cost on account of the high Volumetric/Dimensional Weight which is used across the industry by all shipping couriers. I do not know about others, but I enjoyed their FREE repacking service on many occasion's. Yes, they may decline to repack electronic items due to being FRAGILE and its for the safety of the item only.

I ordered 2 items from Amazon and used Borderlinx to ship it into my country. When Borderlinx invoiced me for a ridiculously high volumetric weight, I knew Amazon had used an oversized box. Borderlinx boasts of a free repacking service to help customers save on shipping. This was precisely why I used their service, as I knew Amazon has a tendency to use oversized boxes. I contacted them to request for a repack, their reply after "investigation" was simply that the packing was already optimal.
The shipment turned out to be about 70% air fillers. See the attached photo for how the items don't even fill half of the shipping carton. I was charged the full price of shipping the volume of this carton. I contacted Borderlinx again and they say repacking was not done as one the items was an electronic. However, their terms say "large electronics" will not be repacked, not "all electronics". Their terms are ambiguous; the item's packaging would have adequately protected it, as they are designed to.
I've used Borderlinx 7 times, and this is surely my last. This case of overcharging is way over the top.

I have bough this Bluetooth headset before a while on amazon and shipped it with Borderlinx to Kuwait. They have charged me 20.99 USD by then.
Now when I bought the very same headset, with the very same packaging + very same weight + very same dimensions and they have asked me to pay them 42.00 USD now ! I spoke to them to see if the seller of the item have put the original item's box in a big package and just to repack it to a smaller packaging. but then they said that they have checked the item box and that is not possible!
How in the world is that possible ?!

The cost of shipping was incredibly expensive! So many hidden charges! The shipping cost more than the item itself. When I took this up with the customer service, everything fell silent, especially when I said I thought they had miscalculated the shipping costs. Anyone would be better off to find another way of buying something from abroad than going through this very, very expensive service.
Stay away from Borderlinx. Their rates are sometimes twice Amazon priority international (2-4 days) shipping costs. Beware, once you ship to Borderlinx, you are at their mercy. The customer service is non-existent and they over-charge. I am done with them.
I am waiting from 2 weeks and until this moment they cant resolve my problem
Borderlinx switched my package with another one and delivered it to a different country. it was expected to receive my shipment since 11 August But it didn't arrive. i contacted borderlinx and they told me that my shipment was switched with another one to another country and they will correct this problem and redirect the shipment to the correct destination. the status of the waybill of my shipment is: (returned to shipper!) and the shipper(which is borderlinx) don't know anything about it.! i am waiting from 2 weeks and until this moment they cant resolve my problem. i tried to resolve this issue with their customer support but with no success.
never received the lost refund
6 Android Smartphones had been sent by Borderlinx on Jan2012. Later, I was informed that 6 Android Smartphones found Missing during delivery. After dealing more than 20 person in charges of Borderlinx through online chat, still, nothing in progress. Every person said different things and keep different promise to me. After wasting a lot of time, I was able to talk to Customer Service Manager of Borderlinx USA, Katerina Mousia on April 2012. She keep telling me that the Payment Department is being took care of my refund. However, I have not yet received the refund even in the month of June 2012.
I don't know care if anyone is going to keep telling me sorry about the incident that happened to me. What I really care is when can I receive my refund? Should I wait for a week, a month, a year or even until the sun rising from the west? Just let me know?

excessive charging & no response to emails
Borderlinx invoiced me for 6kg, where my package as confirmed by Amazon weigh not more then 1kg. They hold up my packages for 6 days now, never respond to me emails (only auto reply), never update their invoice so I could pay & get my stuff ship. This is so scary.
I paid for 1 day priority shipping with Amazon cause I wanted those merchandise urgently, is it meant to be birthday gifts. First they missed updating an item on the system, which hold up 3 days for them to finally find that item, then they miscalculate the weight of my packages. I'm lost, seriously what can I do now if they refused to response or do anything? I called up Citibank, spoken to someone & told them about this, she offered to send them an email, is over the wkends I know, hopefully I hear from them soon.
