Mortgage services... More like disservice
In July of 2015 I had a mortgage with bremer bank/chad vogel. I asked if it was permissible to pay extra each month towards the principal balance... chad's exact words were, 'What are you a retard?'
I SCREAMED at the CEO Jeanne Crain and moved my mortgage/business elsewhere. In the mean time, as of December of 2022, I've paid off that mortgage.
I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH bremer bank EVER! THEY ARE WORTHLESS! The edsel ford of banks.
Desired outcome: Stop banking... close the bank
Mobil banking
There is a bug in my Bremer Mobil app that customer service and those employees who investigate problems further have been ignoring my complaints, I have call customer service many many times only to get same treatment because supervisor Nick at lake Elmo bank in MN states, I am the only customer with this problem and has accused me of being incompetent. They are the ones who refuse to do their jobs
Desired outcome: I would like my Mobil app to function promptly and for Bremer bank employees to stop given me the run around
Loan services
This banking institution should be sued for professional malpractice, I started an ag loan with them in December of 2020 estimated close date end of January 2021. I was lied to and told everything was good to go until 4 days before closing, when they told me they cant find an appraisal. (Keep in mind they never returned my calls and ignored me through out this whole time, I literally had to drive to the bank and talk to them). They tried to roll my ag loan into residential which has to be 40 acres or less. My property is 115 acres. So needless to say I was homeless (literally) I was to close on my home I was selling and the one I was moving into on the same day. 4 weeks later, some how I was able to move into the house and now bremmer is firing people to cover up their "oops" trail. I just closed on the house in October 14th 2021, 11 MONTHS after I went into the bank and asked for a loan. They then proceeded to offer me 250 dollars towards the survey as a part of their "hush money" which some schmuck paid out of his pocket, never came from the bank ……. overall I would love to see this bank close its doors. They dont deserve to stay open ….. because im not the only one theyve done this too.
Desired outcome: Lawsuit/ close its doors permanently

Customer service
My name is Beth Pullen and I live in Minot, North Dakota. Recently my mother from Redwood Falls, Minnesota sent me two handwritten checks. I recently lost my identification and have not been able to locate the proper paperwork and my driver's license has expired. I went to the Bremer Bank in Minot to see if they could help me get these checks cashed. I understand there are rules and regulations, but my mother has banked at Bremer all her life and my dad was president of the Bremer Bank in Redwood Falls, Minnesota for over 25 years. I was appalled to say the least at the rudeness that I was shown by everyone I encountered at this Bank. This woman who first off made me wait while never even acknowledging my existence until I walked over to her and she seemed utterly disgusted to have to help me. I barely got my sentence out when she cut me off and told me there was nothing they could do. My father devoted to his life to Bremer Bank would roll over in his grave at the customer service I received this branch. I'm going to talk to my mom and after banking there for 40 years I'm going to try to get her to pull out. If this is what you're Corporation has become then I want no part of it and neither would my father. Side note: my dad's name was L.K. "Pete" Iverson.
Account security
In the last half dozen attempts to access my account I keep getting a message to call security. Well, that's all fine and good if your ears work fine. But mine don't. I've heard of banks being ripped off because of lax security, but to question access every single time is above and beyond normal. When I get things straight with Bremer, I'm leaving.
Poor Service
I'm leaving this bank after someone stole my debit card information and they denied the claim. They tried telling me I must have "gave them my information" based on the fact they had my account number, address, phone number, and e-mail address...all information I type in every time I purchase something online. They also messed up and gave me too much cash when I closed two savings accounts, so some lady called and said she realized she gave me $18 too much and took it out of my last account I havent closed yet.
Hire-In
I was a temp worker for two weeks at Bremner Food Group until I was hired in. I was supposed to provide two forms of identification to be hired in. I gave my state ID and I had lost my birth certificate and social security card. I told them that I would have to go to get a new one and they said ok. I went to the social security office and they said I would get a new one in two weeks and the day I got it I was fired for not turning it in earlier after I told them five times they would have to wait for it. What I don't understand is that I personally know people that have worked there for 2, 3, 4 years and have fake or no papers at all and nothing was done to them. I am a college student and in the U.S. Army and they didn't believe I was a U.S. citizen.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
