In August 2023, I went to the Castro Valley BrightNow location for some routine dentistry. She attempted to perform a crown on a recessed molar, something published textbooks clearly state is an endodontic procedure. She ground my molar into a bloody exposed nerve that couldn't be saved. I had to get an emergency extraction, which perforated my sinus and requires several more procedures and an implant to repair. This is gross negligence of proper procedure and has left me near $8000 in debt and immense pain. I have at least 2 more procedures and an implant to go through and it's going to be well over $10k to repair what was once a fine and functioning tooth.
I can't get ahold of anyone in the office to make amends. They charged me for work that hadn't yet been performed. They're now ignoring all my communication. It's published in articles how hard it is to sue a dentist, even for complete incompetence. Their service is criminal and there's 100s of complaints. They need to be held accountable. I could have died and I definitely have permanent damage.
This business is shameful.
