I gave up my seat for a Dr who needed to get to the UK urgently. I was told that a hotel and transport would be provided by BA as I gave up my seat. I was delighted to be compensated for doing this. The flight was over booked which I hear is a regular occurrence in Vegas 14 people were taken off the flight that day.
They forgot to take my case off the plane after I spent two hours looking for it at the airport. I spent that night and the next day uncomfortable with no suitable clothes to change into as thought I would be returning to the UK
Then when returned home I found they had taken money out for the hotel stay.
I then used my Swiipr card that BA gave me in Barclay's bank cash machine, and the machine kept my card not my fault. I then went into the bank where a manager informed me I could not have the card back as they do not return cards they are destroyed (company policy). I cancelled it with Swiipr which they did hoping they would issue a new one. card. Surely if they take cancellation, they cannot reinstate the card? This must be done by BA even though I had lots of evidence and proof that it was my card.
Where does the money go when not reinstated?
You are unable to talk to anyone on the phone they are constantly busy? I’ve tried for several weeks constantly busy.
Time wasting and very frustrating unable to talk to anyone on the phone they are constantly busy?
Such a shame as my flight was excellent and cabin crew very good. lost confidence in there ability to deal with the mundane stuff.
Desired outcome: Refund addressed and swiipr card reinstated.Easy access to customer service by phone not everyone is computer literate
