Bathroom remodel
I have had a humiliating and embarrassing experience with Brothers Services Company. In August, 2022 I signed a contract for a bathroom renovation. The quote for the tub/shower was $15,000. It was a lot of money but I've been waiting 12 years for this. The quote for the rest of the bathroom was $18,000. I felt that $33,000 was too much for a 6' x 8' (not including the tub) bathroom with a single sink. I had my own vanity! I decided to cancel the contract. I knew I was outside the time limit to cancel without penalty. On August 22nd I sent an email informing them that I was cancelling, conceding that I would pay the penalty. I received no response so on August 26th I resent the message. The response was that my message was received and would be forwarded to the correct people. All these communications were via email. On October 4th, when I got home from work that night there was an invoice dated September 16 with no envelope, laying open at the foot stairs of the condo where I live. This was a mystery because it's a secure entrance. You have to have a key to get in. I was mortified. I'm sure every neighbor looked at it. Because the date was October 4th and the invoice dated September 16th the appearance and implication was that it was a collection notice. The next day the same invoice without an envelope was in my mailbox How did it get into my locked mailbox without an envelope? They could have emailed it to me. This experience has been humiliating and embarrassing. I can't believe a company as established and well known as Brother's would stoop to these measures. It makes them look like sore losers and they wished to "make me pay" by making it known to my neighbors that I was cancelling the contract. A contract which I acknowledged I would pay the penalty. I feel that they owe me restitution for this humiliation in the form of returning in full or in part the $2,500 I paid.

bad service
Contacted Brothers Services (BS) about gutter work and replacing two French doors. Took three weeks for the salesman to come out and measure. Said he would have pricing in a week and that he wanted to sit down with both my wife and myself so that he could go through the options available. The afternoon of the appointment the salesman called to say he wasn't coming and could he come out the following Friday or "some time the following week". My wife said thanks but no thanks. BS salesman said they were slammed and that it would be 6 weeks, at least, before they could get the new doors and install them. Why would anyone use a company that treats their clients with such disrespect.

Took the downpayment and never showed up
The name of the contractors are chris and shawn royston.They came to remodel our home took an $8000 downpayment and never showed up.They have given their elderly parents home address so they don't get caught.Now we have send complaints to states attorney's office and home builder association.If you not interested in going through all this avoid them at any cost.

I hired Brothers Services to do roofing repair with the understanding that there would be a supervisor who could speak English on site at all times. Of course, the lying salesman bent over backwards promising this would be the case. This morning the only one who showed up was a stinking, illegal Mexican who smelled as though he had not taken a shower in days and could not speak one word of our native language.
I am a disabled American veteran who has been unemployed for 11 months. I guess THIS is the reason I can not find a employment in my own home town.
When I called them to ask why this provision in my contract had not been lived up to by them, the old shrew they have for a receptionist did not like being put on the spot like that, and promptly hung up in me hear.
Help me put out the word about this joint so that other homeowners do not get taken. I have contacted Experience Project and every other consumer complaint site, roofing company and home improvement network site available online to spread the word about this lying, fly-by-night operation run by Mr. John Martindale.
