BuckEyePuppies.com Puppy being ill

We bought a shipoo two weeks ago. We love him but he's had diarrhea since day one
The person met us, we were not permitted to go see his parents
We met in new Concord, Ohio
Paid 450$ for him, I talk with lady that brought him to us but very good at covering
I'm angry at all this
Places like puppy mills need to shut down
He hides a lot like he's scared to death
We've got him to where he plays a little
I don't want to part with him, but they need to pay vet if he doesn't get better

Desired outcome: They need to pay vet bill for him being sick

That’s unbelievable, I say this because I bought a Bernese Mountain Dog from Ohio, Buckeye pups for 1000. Had him transported to me in NY and he has had diarrhea ever since. Spent over 1500 on vet bill already and still haven’t figured out what the problem is? Have him on high dose of antibiotics, been tested for everything imaginable…and don’t tell me about the ride and dog food because he’s well beyond that..

Change of food and Transportation can cause upset stomach and diarrhea. Don't buy from large breeding facilities. Especially Mennonite USDA breeders. Or Amish breeders.

BuckEyePuppies.com Puppy mill

I bought the sweetest schnoodle from Buckeye Puppies. The following was my experience:

The puppy was given some sort of drug just before our meeting. They had to physically put him in my lap when we met and he was completely unresponsive, to food, to physical contact, even to sound - the entire 3+ hour drive home.

He would only go the restroom on concrete and didn’t know what to do in real grass. (Though the woman said he’d just been outside with her while she was hanging laundry!?!

He didn’t know how to drink from a bowl and had to be taught. (Like he’d only drunk from a water bottle.) He always sat with his back against the wall, even when he slept.

Lastly, He was supposedly up to date on all of his puppy inoculations when I got him, and had even been to the vet with me (with the list of shots, so they didn’t inoculate him further, as he was “up to date) - he died of Parvo at the age of 6 months.

This place is a puppy mill and those puppies are being treated horribly. They should be shut down. Please do not support this business!

Desired outcome: I think this company should be shut down.

Buckeye Puppies and Lancaster puppies are mainly Amish and Mennonite puppy mills. You can find good breeders advertise on their, however with the overwhelming breeding of these large facilities some are even USDA don't buy from them. They may have a lot of puppies at cheaper prices, but the adults are treated like livestock not socialized and many locked in barns only to see daylight when being feed or ready to be bred again over and over again. And check the standard of the breed your buying I know a lot that selling small dogs like miniature dachshunds, and they end up big a corgies or begals.

BuckEyePuppies.com USDA Puppy Mills

This Page is littered with Puppy Mills who create click bait ads, by advertising a pup saying it registered/registrable but to get the registration esp. AKC you have to pay double the price. So basically, you are paying for a registration not a puppy. Then come to find out these registrations are fraudulent. When you send in to get a pedigree from AKC you will find the pedigree is littered with unregistered dogs. How did this dog get registered in the first place. AKC has lost its integrity and dignity to cater to these USDA puppy mills for making that Almighty dollar. OH, IN, PA Have become so filled with these puppy mills and most sorry to say are Mennonite large USDA breeding facilities, Where the breeding dogs (stock) are treated like cattle left in cages all their life to pump out puppies every 6 months. Then to be discarded or put down at around age 5 when her reproductive system starts to decline. NO socialization. The puppies they sell may be alright, but the Parents suffer.

Desired outcome: Remove the puppy mill ads, however I know that won't happen because that would cut into your revenue. LOL

BuckEyePuppies.com AKC registration/ pedigrees

Have purchased several AKC pups I and friends only to find out that these dogs have a worthless pedigree. The pedigree is litter with unregistered dogs. While AKC used to be a reliable and reputable registry like everything else has sunk into fraudulent tactics for the almighty dollar. They don't test for purebred of the dog via DNA, they use pedigree research which is crock of crap to say your dog is pure breed. I would trust ACA registry more than AKC for your purebred, However ACA will register AKC dogs on their registry. Ask to see pedigrees if you really want a pure-bred dog especially if it supposed to be AKC. You can also find other articles talking about the shading dealings of AKC. And in case you don't know AKC has moved it main offices from NC to NYC the city of scams.

Desired outcome: Just putting this info out there for others who may not want to pay a big price for an AKC registered dog with a shady pedigree full of unregistered dogs.

BuckEyePuppies.com Negligent breeder

Hello, I purchased a puppy from Joe Mast and Betty Stutzman from Ohio last month. I was promised a healthy vaccinated puppy and what I got was the total opposite. She died 3 weeks and almost $8,000 later from distemper. I was told by the vet she was unfit for sale and I feel these people need to be taken off your website and held responsible for this awful thing they did to my puppy. If it weren’t for them Milly would still be here with us today. I have ever vet bill and ever text and email saved so if you need more information please let me know

Desired outcome: Both sellers banned from using your site and compensation

You have to do research you should look at your pup and see where it comes from. Many of these big USDA dog breeding facilities are Mennonites. Do not support Puppy Mills just because they are USDA or ODA. Your pet store's get their pups from these Puppy Mills. USDA dogs abandoned at 5 yrs. old requirement of USDA dog has to be put down or removed from program. I have rescued several of these older dogs that end up at swap meets they are very anti-social very shy, scared for life. They twist in circles even with a full yard to run because of the year locked up in cages pumping out pups. Males are usually aggressive due to no human interaction except when time to put a female in with him to do his business to pay for his keep just to be exterminated or expelled because of his age. Same with females. Do research know where your pup is coming from. There are several small breeders who can't compete with the USDA facilities (puppy mills). So support your local small family breeder not facilities or Pet Stores.

BuckEyePuppies.com Brokering Sick Puppies

Betty is the middle man for puppy mills to sell their dogs to people all over the country. Buckeye Puppies recently brokered a Bernadoodle to a buyer in NJ. The Bernadoodle was diagnosed with pneumonia a week later and is now dying of distemper yet Betty has done nothing to hold the breeder ( Joe and Arlene Mast of Baltic OH) accountable for selling sick dogs. She says on her website "fI we receive a report or complaint about a seller, we investigate, take down their advertisements, and ban the seller if necessary." But she has not taken down his ads and continues to promote his puppy mill and sick dogs.

This entire dog selling business is horrible and the Amish treat these animals like livestock, not pets. I highly suggest you go to a local breeder you can visit many times to see the conditions or better yet ADOPT from your local shelter.

Desired outcome: Close them down

A dog gets pneumonia then the distemper. A dog has to come in contact with something that has distemper to get distemper. Pneumonia doesn't cause distemper.

BuckEyePuppies.com Adopting a puppy

This website seems legit but is not. They lied about the breed of dog, parents of dog, used a broker when the website says they don't, didn't give vaccinations as stated, didn't get a vet check as stated, didn't use dewormed as stated. Basically everything on this website was a lie. I researched for quite some time to get a dog we wanted, but ended up leaving with something completely different. This website lies. DO NOT TRUST this website!

BuckEyePuppies.com Buyer beware

This company is as shady as they get. Just spotted company car driving from puppy mill to puppy mill here in indiana. Extremely reckless drivers. And do t be fooled when website claims they only advertise. They go to puppy mills and buy a large number of sick dogs or dogs with health problems that may not be seen right away such as heart murmur or joint problems and so on. They buy large numbers of dogs at cheap prices then sell at full retail.

I have had 2 royal standard poodles. I can tell you by the snout of your furbaby that he or she is a royal standard poodle. Labradoodles or Goldendoodles do not have long snouts like your baby. mix doodles normally have a more square snout. please email me if you would like to know more cindyandtodd23@gmail.com

BuckEyePuppies.com Puppies

Buckeyepuppies.com
And
Lancaster puppies.com
Is owned by the same Amish people/business

Two different breeders clearly advertise on their sites.
1. Amish puppy mills
And
2. Normal dog breeders (not Amish)

For all puppy adoptees not aware.
They continuously harass the dog breeders that advertise on there that are not Amish.

They would prefer only the Amish advertise on their Amish puppy websites owned by theses Amish people. When other good dog breeders try to advertise on their so-called public classified site. They harass us !

They (lancasterpuppies & buckeye puppies) harbor, protect, disquise and support these Amish puppy mills. they go out to their farms they take their pups pictures, they post those pictures on their website and charge $35 a puppy.

they don't like us regular breeders because we take our own pictures, do our own ads and they only get $15 per puppy from us. Which is approximately 5 times as much as any other classified site by the way.

Decent breeders are harassed stalked and kicked off of their websites on a regular basis because the Amish puppy mills complain that there are too many of regular small breeders on their site and they get less business now. People now go on to these websites and have choices. They can go to small family run homes where puppies are raised inside their homes and the parents are inside their homes and the puppies are under foot being raised.
Or ~ they can go to the Amish puppy mills where the parents and the puppies are in their dark barns and never step foot into the actual family's home.

These two classified puppy websites don't like us regular breeders advertising on their site. They prefer the Amish puppy mills.

They refer to regular breeders as English people, and they teach it is not wrong to cheat an English person they will not give any refunds or replacements. This is a Buyer Beware area do you research and talk to the people often before deciding what you want to do.

BuckEyePuppies.com puppy purchase

I purchased a Boston Terrier puppy from a breeder advertising on this site. The pup was sick and I ended up taking him to the Animal hospital within 24 hours of purchase. He has pneumonia. Has been on antibiotics ever since. The breeder will not respond. I know nothing can be done at this point. All I would like now is to have the breeder banned from selling on their site going forward. I emailed them, but was just told to contact the breeder. No help there.

BuckEyePuppies.com purchased a beagle listed on the site

I realize that BuckeyePuppies.com is just a listing site, but BUYER BEWARE! We adopted a beagle last Friday from a home at the address provided above. The "breeder" said the puppy had "had all his puppy shots" and had been "dewormed." We got him home on Friday, 7/26/19 at 4:00 and had him at the vet the next morning at 11:30 due to extreme itching. We found out he has mange! That will be at least a month's treatment and the poor dog is suffering. At the same time we provided a stool specimen. We just got the results back today (Tuesday, 7/30/19) and the puppy has roundworm and giardia! We may as well have adopted a stray animal!
I reached out to the "breeder" that I had been texting with, who is the wife of the man we saw when we bought the puppy. Her response when I informed her of what we had discovered - which is all I did - inform her - I didn't make any demand of any kind - - was to basically call me a liar. She said they hadn't had any other complaints about any puppy they've ever sold and that she "didn't really know what to tell me." I followed up with her asking if we could just have the specific vaccination information that we had asked for repeatedly. She responded that she didn't know the specifics, just "your basic puppy shots."
I then texted saying that her response of, "I don't really know what to tell you, " was completely inappropriate and that an expression of concern for the puppy and an offer to make things right were in order. Her response, "Yeah, well, when we had the puppy, there was nothing wrong with it." Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. Yeah, the puppy obviously got mange, round worm and giardia within the 30 hours that we had him in our home prior to taking him to the vet and not from the barn they kept him.
So, we paid $200 (I know, that should have been my first red flag) for a totally UNHEALTHY puppy and the "breeder" never expressed the least concern about the poor thing's health. Please don't EVER buy a puppy from the Miller's who live on this street and I would suggest taking ANY puppy you buy from Amish country to the vet for a check PRIOR to paying for it. This is just despicable, dishonest and unethical behavior. I so regret my decision and would NEVER buy a dog this way again! It's worth it to pay more for a dog from a REPUTABLE breeder, which may not describe many of the dogs on Buckeyepuppies.com.

BuckEyePuppies.com breeders lied about the type of dog

I adopted a beabull, or so i thought it was a beabull, 1 year ago. Come to find out, as the dog got older that he was in fact a boxer beagle instead of a bulldog beagle. Not only that but the dog was traumatized from the day i brought him home. He is scared of everything, extremely aggressive, possessive over his toys etc. I have put everything in to helping this dog and make him feel loved and treated well. This company treats their animals like toys and send them off to just about anywhere just so they can make a dollar. It sickens me that the little puppy i brought home went through so much in the first 6 weeks of his life to the point that he can't get past it a year later with constant love and affection. Not to mention when i brought him home, he had scratches all over his head from fighting with another dog and he also was very hesitant and almost grouchy when someone would touch him. That is NOT how a puppy should behave! I feel so sympathetic for anyone who has gone through this and the amount of time and energy that goes into fixing it is out of this world. PLEASE do not adopt from this place, it is the absolute worst thing you could do. Wayne and Mary are the people i adopted from as well, avoid every part of them.

I guess step ladders are common since there are many mixes with the same size ratio. A beagle and a lab. A corgi and lab. A corgi and a Siberian Husky. A Pomeranian and Siberian Husky. Do a little research, it’s not like this is a hard subject. A beagle and boxer is not rare.

BuckEyePuppies.com This breeder scammed people and didn't provide precise info

Stay away from the company Buckeye Puppies, because the owner is liar. Every two weeks she updated information on the website. She had puppies of different breeds and it was suspicious. When I asked about the parents of the puppy, she tried to avoid the question and didn’t tell precisely. I wanted to buy the puppy from her, but her behaviour was too uptight. I simply decided to share with my suspicions.

About BuckEyePuppies.com

Screenshot BuckEyePuppies.com
BuckEyePuppies.com advertises puppies for local breeders and pet shops in Ohio. We are not a broker, we only connect you with the breeders and other sellers. Their are many advantages to buying directly from a breeder, the puppies are often better socialized, and in most cases you can see the exact place where your puppy was born. You can also talk directly to the breeder, and discuss the characteristics of the parents, the personality of the puppies, etc. You will also find that the majority of our advertisers only have one or two dogs that are family pets, although buying from a pet shop can have advantages too, such as a standardized vaccination plan, etc.
