We started this process with total excitement about receiving a baby French bulldog, we reached out to Adele who made her self known as the "grandma" of these dogs and that she works with Breeder she knows and trusts. We went and picked up our French bulldog October 11, 2021 and little did we know exactly one week after that he would be dead. We picked up...

Tank R Tots Sold sick dog with out proper paperwork of litter being registered

Was sold a sick puppy, was told litter was akc litter no paperwork on the litter at all just a photo of a photo of the "parents akc papers"
Was email after the vet check showing the puppy was sick "wonderful healthy puppy" but with the contract signed stating that I take on any and everything the puppy could get or get down the road, I didn't reply with anything because now it's all on me anyways.
Also the Person who signed my contract was not the actual person who was signing my contract. I don't know if that voids or or not. But with in the year, found out my dog has skin, toe, breathing, eyes issues that without surgeries will make him blind/ stop breathing on me. We have undergone a few of them as they cost thousands of dollars to do for each one. All I got was a Facebook post on issues bulldog can have. Wow who would of thought the so called great breeder would let me buy a dog with all of them and not even be able to register him on the akc sight.

Loads of bs from this person can never get a straight answer but everything is my problem.

Desired outcome: Some of the treatment costs be paid to me or some of the cost of the dog refunded to me

Adele and her company have done everything they can to help with the care of my dogs. They have even gone out of their own pockets to help cover costs of surgeries my dog needed. I am beyond pleased with Adele and her team. They can’t help that my dog got know issues the breed can have, but in turn they have more than helped us in our care for our dog. I can’t be happier with a company and a person who truly cares for this breed.

Jacqueline bought a puppy from me April 2019. Her baby had a tummy bug and unfortunately this happens in baby dogs and is a simple fix with an antibiotic. I mailed her AKC application shortly after she picked up the puppy and she never did tell me that she didn't get it. I emailed a copy of it to her today because this is the first I've heard that she never got it. I have a guarantee that everyone signs outlining the common issues of an English Bulldog. Nothing is kept from buyers and the common issues of this breed are fully disclosed. I also sell puppies for other breeders and this is also on my website. The contract she got was signed by the breeder she purchased from. Her dog needed a soft palate reduction, entropian eye correction, skin allergies and these are all issues I've had with my own bulldogs. As much as I would love to have control over these things in bulldogs I don't. I still love the breed and take care of these things when they happen in my own bulldogs that I own. If she didn't want to take care of them in hers she never should have purchased a breed where these things were a possibility. She also had the right to return the puppy after the first initial vet visit if she was unhappy with him for any reason. English Bulldogs are high maintenance pets and many people will not buy them because of the risks involved in their care. I believe the amazing animals they are outweigh the risks. It's up to the buyer whether or not they want to take that on. Apparently Jacqueline doesn't.

I wanted to add to my above comment that Jackie has taken excellent care of her puppy. I do understand the frustration she feels. It's very rare that one puppy would have so many of the common bulldog conditions so early in life. I wish it were possible to know why some babies experience this and some don't. Both his parents are retired and didn't produce any other puppies with so many issues. I have to say I'm impressed with how well Jackie is caring for Blue and I want only the best for Blue and her too.

Tankrtots isn’t responsible for other websites you went to, I have had a great experience with our PayPal to buy our puppy with her and her company, which she had us come to her personal home to pick up our puppy. I have been very pleased with Adele and her business handlings with us. If you reach out directly to her she will have no problems helping you with the purchase of your puppy.
This is our baby who is just over two, we are very happy and it’s an unfortunate that other companies can’t work with you about your loan but your loan service company has nothing to do with Adele or her services she provides.

Tank R Tots Wags Lending Scam!

I bought a english bulldog from tankrtots.com located in Littleton Colorado. I went to website and clicked on available puppies and saw a advertisment for Wags Lending. I filled out the application and was immediately approved $2000 to get a english bulldog puppy. I went to the house in Littleton Colorado with a down payment and picked my new puppy up. I was so excited. Two days later I get an email form Montgomery Financial stating that I have to pay them instead of Wags Lending whom I signed the contract with. When I went to make my payment it stated that I owe $4500! I was very confused because the puppy was only $2500!. I finally put the pieces to the puzzle. "Wags Lending" is truly Montgomery Financial in disguise! I googled Wags Lending reviews and Montgomery Financial reviews popped up. As I was reading I realized that Montgomery Financial has the worst reviews I have ever seen in my life! My heart started pounding as I realized I had made a deal with the devil. Tankrtots.com has a 5 star rating so I trusted them and now I make payments to a company with a 0 star rating, who is known for screwing people over. I trusted the sweet lady from tankrtots.com but now I realize she is like every other criminal out there. Do not get financed through Wags lending/Montgomery Financial it could ruin your life! Also I realized that I am leasing the puppy with a option to buy the puppy at the end! You heard correct, when you go through 'Wags Lending'/Montgomery Financial you are leasing the puppy! I have never heard of leasing an animal in my life until know! Thanks tankrtots.com and 'Wags lending'/Montgomery Financial for opening my eyes. No one can be trusted!

I bought a puppy from Adele's website because it is very attractive for a person looking for an English bulldog puppy. She even has a A+ on the Better Business Bureau review. So you might think to yourself what can go wrong? Well, Adele is partners with Wags Lending. Wags Lending is posted on Adele's website. Here's the secret, Wags Lending is really Montgomery Financial in disguise. Montgomery Financial has the worst reviews ever. As a matter of fact if you were to Google Wags Lending review, Montgomery Financial reviews comes up. Adele is no rookie to selling English bulldogs and she knows that most people do not have the money to buy a puppy with cash in hand. She uses "Wags Lending" which is really Montgomery Financial to screw people over. Also when you go through Wags Lending you are not financing the puppy, you are leasing the puppy with an option to buy the puppy after the lease. Yes you heard right, you are leasing the puppy! I have never heard of leasing a puppy in my life! If you are desperate and do decide to fill out the application to Wags Lending read the last page #18 that states they have a third party which is Montgomery Financial. I was financed $2500 through wags lending/Montgomery Financial and unless I do an early buy out option my puppy will cost me $6000! When you pick the puppy up from Adele, she is very sweet, takes your money, tells you how to care for you puppy and even sends you home with dog food. What she does not mention is that you have done business with the devil, Montgomery Financial. If you don't not believe me Google Montgomery Financial. Montgomery Financial even charges $10 for every payment you make! They make there own rules. Also I didn't even know I was doing business with Montgomery Financial until it was too late. I knew that it was to good to be true. If Adele really cared about her bulldogs and her customers she would not use Montgomery Financial. Who would want their customers to be sitting home with $6000 puppy that they thought they were getting for $2500. I will tell you who, a person who just wants to make money. I was wondering how she could afford that big house. Its because she's in business with Montgomery Financial! If you want a puppy from Tankrtots buy it out right or face the consequences of your choices. Imagine the people who finance her puppies that cost $4500, they will easily be paying $10000 for that puppy. I am positive that Adele has a deal with Montgomery Financial and she would rather you lease the puppy instead of paying cash because she gets something out of it. Adele you should be ashamed!

Heres one for the books! I to went thru wags lending for my puppy. I can't remember the actual amt. However for some reason I called today to find out what my balance was. My payoff as of today was 168.44 mind you I was paying 160.00 a month anyway. When they told me the pay off I told them take the full amount out of my acct. Today is the 3rd they withdraw from me on 5th. They told me if I paid in full today I was done. If not I still owe 900.? Why didn't they notify me of this, Needless to say if I did not call they would have made close to a thousand dollars off me. This is a total rip off! I would never recommend Wags Lending to anyone. Your paying 2 to 3 times the actual cost of your forever furbaby!

I'm having a hard time believing all your sorrow stories. Some of you are saying that you don't read a contract before you sign it and then some of you are saying that your a follower not a leader because you feel pressured into buying a puppy. Really . You cant read, write or make your own decisions. I cant believe your all functioning human beans. I do not work for Wags and I have no association with them . I just happen to come across this and see a bunch of people trying to tell there War stories that they were foolish to get into if they didn't read the contract in the first place. That's what's wrong with this world today always looking to blame someone else for stupidity .

I was also ripped off and my GOOD credit now ruined from wags.I walked in to oceanside puppy in oceanside California, I had cash in hand and sales women said wags lending was a better offer talked me into it when I had time to sit and read the contract for myself, "not as the salesperson said it read as I was reading it with her... I realized I would be paying $4800$ for a $2200 dog. I contacted the owner who then told me I was mis reading the terms< also a lie> I insisted on returning the dog and was told that I would have to pay a $400 fee. I was fine with doing so but the owner then convinced me that as long as I paid the dog off before full term of the loan...yes he said loan...not lease, that I would only be paying the $2200. so I went on my way, trusting what was told to me, continued to pay my payments for a year and a half and after call for a payoff amount was told that I owed the full $4800... this people are evil and this is a pure scam. anyone who's does honest business doesn't need smoke and mirrors.

Read both contracts? See one of the scams they use is show you a finance contract. Looks good but now its time to sign it. If its a tablet they just swipe to the left now your on a lease contract they enlarge the screen so you don't see the heading that says lease. Don't make a payment contact the state attorney general's office they are aware of the scams.

Frank Stack, talk about "stupid ###s", who taught you to spell? WAGS is a disgusting ripoff and the only way they can legally charge what they do is because they call this scam a "lease" so they can tack on all sorts of fees that ends up making the sales price over twice at the end of the contract. They prey on people that don't have credit. The CEO is Dusty Wunderlich and the lawyer who makes sure they make an ungodly amount of profit is Matthew Digesti. They are both from Reno, NV. Check out their complaints (Bristlecone Holdings, WAGS Financial and Monterey Financing) on consumeraffairs.com. More than 70 complaints. Also many complaints against them on the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Please do not do business with these companies!

THis personal financed the dog he should've paid for it so he did not have to finance it. When wags finances it of course they make money, why else would they do it. you're given information up front to read it before you agree to their terms, only a stupid ### would read it and agree to it then complain about the contract they agreed to. If your to dumb to read the contract then their is no hope for you. I bought a English bull dog with wags, read and agreed to the contract then paid it off to save some money. This sounds like you have buyers remorse and want to blame everyone but your self (who willing agreed to their terms!) I suggest that you don't agree to any other contract unless you are supervised buy a responsible guardian scince you complain when you get what you wanted and agreed too.

Dear "Too Little Too Late" I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Wags Lending. When you completed their offer and got the contract to sign the very first line to read is this: By signing the following documents you are entering into a Closed End Consumer Pet Lease. The next information you would have read is the total amount you are financing, the number of months you are making payments to them and the total amount of the lease if you go to the end of it. it is all clearly spelled out if you had read it. Wags is only one financing option i offer. Most people do not use it for the reasons you described. I only offer it as an option to those who are willing to enter into the contract of their own free will and choice and who will read and understand the terms of it. You clearly did not do this. Whenever someone asks me about Wags I frankly tell them it is not a long term solution, it's a temporary one, and needs to be paid off asap so that you are not paying too much for your puppy. I have been offering Wags to my customers for about a year and whenever someone realizes they have made a mistake and wants out of their contract and would rather pay cash or use a credit card for the purchase I cancel the contract for them and go another way for the sale. I've done this many times for people who didn't read their contract and were surprised by the terms once they realized how it worked. I would have been happy to do this for you if you had called me and told me you didn't realize it worked this way because you didn't read what you were signing. Wags is not a trap and I never encourage anyone to use Wags it's simply an option. Putting your good name on anything you sign is completely your responsibility. I simply give people the "choice" to do this or not. Saying in your comments that "most" people cannot afford to buy an English Bulldog puppy and are forced to use this program is not true. Maybe 1% of all the sales I have are Wags. If that. More often than not I discourage people from using it and will tell them it's not a conventional Lending option with interest because most people assume it is, they don't know how car leases work either. Everyone who owns their own business is in business to make a living. Making a living is not all I care about. These puppies are my life and I've turned down many buyers who didn't have the ability to spend time with them and care for them to my standards. I've also paid many vet bills for people who couldn't afford to take care of their puppies. If you don't believe me call Dr. Gennaidy Chepelevich at the Red Rocks Animal Clinic in Lakewood and ask him. My home was purchased long before I ever owned Tankrtots. I am not a wealthy woman nor do I take advantage of others as you described. Monterey Financial underwrites for Wags Lending and this is an arrangement they have that I have nothing to do with. Monterey services Wags much like they do for companies like Zales and Kays Jewelers. It's how companies do business and suggesting they give me personal kick backs is ridiculous. I've signed a merchant agreement with Wags to offer their program the same as thousands of others who offer pets to the public. If you go to the website for Wags and click on Cost and Terms it allows you to use their calculator to enter the amount you're borrowing and it tells you the payment, number of months, total amount if you go to the end of the lease and the buy out amounts after a few months of payments. I'm assuming you never did this either. I do my best to educate people about Wags and their program and give them the option to either accept that it's a lease that is going to cost them more in the end or use another form of payment for their puppy. You could make all these same claims on anyone who offers to accept a credit card for payment too since Visa stands to gain interest from you borrowing from them. That doesn't make the merchant evil or untrustworthy either. If you had simply communicated to me your problem with Wags this would have been solved between us and none of this would be necessary. You didn't post your name and I've not heard from anyone with the issues you've described. You gave me no opportunity to make this right for you. This speaks volumes to the public about you.

We purchased a dog adn within the year we took her to the breeders vet only to find out she had bone growth problems. The owner only offered us joint pills as a way to solve a defective dog. This is suppose to be a top breed dog and i paid $2500 for one and instead got a dog with nothing but hip problems and leg problems that cost more money down the road...
