Useless trash
Cheap and useless backdrop. No photographer would use a wrinkled backdrop. The vinyl backdrop was creased and wrinkled permanently as a result of the supplier’s negligence which made it absolutely useless. Backdrops are usually rolled without folding and shipped in tubes. Total waste of time and money. I complained to the company via email and was told to fix it myself by laying it flat for 24 hours, I followed their ridiculous suggestion and did it for 48 hours which did not help at all. It didn’t even put a dent in the wrinkles. I contacted them again and asked them to take it back for a full refund, they started haggling with me offering a 50% refund, which is unacceptable. This item is totally and 100% useless and only good for recycling trash bins. Stay away from this vendor.

I gotta say, Buy-Backdrop really did me dirty. Straight up lies from the start, and then when I tried to call them out, they just ignored me. No refund, no effort, just pure bull$#*!. I spent $450 on their "product" and almost $70 for fast shipping, but what did I get? A week late and completely useless. They claimed they shipped on a Tuesday, but their labels showed that they didn't even do jack until Friday. And I was even willing to pay extra for 3 day shipping, but that didn't happen until Monday. A damn shame, because I needed it for a funeral that happened on Saturday.

I got a message from Buy-Backdrop that my order had been shipped. The status of the order was shippped and I purchased six products. The problem was that they charged me for two orders and I had not received my backdrops yet. I was in the middle of a business trip when I realized this issue. Thankfully, their customer service department was great. When I informed them about my situation, they refunded me for one order.
However, when I arrived home from my trip and opened the package, I was disappointed. I didn't even bother to take a look at them, because I was in such a rush to leave again due to a family illness. I packed the backdrops in my carry-on bag and left. But when I looked closely at them later, I was shocked by how terrible they looked! Honestly, these are the worst backdrops I have ever seen in my life! Only two of them could be salvaged, but the rest of them looked so light and unrealistic, as if they have been sun-bleached. I waited for 21 days for delivery, even though there is a 14-day return policy. Unfortunately, I just opened them and they're terrible!

So, I gotta tell ya, I was pretty ticked off when my backdrops arrived a full week after what was supposed to be the last delivery date. Like, what the heck? I had a project to do and a timeline to stick to! And the worst part? The seller didn't really offer me any meaningful way to fix it. They offered to refund the shipping (big woop) or for me to return the backdrops (at MY expense!) for a refund, but the return shipping was going to cost me at least $70. No way, Jose.
To add insult to injury, the seller didn't take any responsibility for the misinformation on delivery times on their website, and to top it off, their emails were coming back undeliverable. Talk about a sucky situation all around! I felt like I was up the creek without a paddle - and the only way I was able to communicate with them was through PayPal. Ugh.
I have to be honest here, I can't really speak to the quality of the backdrops because they arrived too late for me to even open the package. And they even refunded me $50 (which isn't enough to cover the loss, but hey, it's something). So I ended up bumping my review up to three stars, at least as a way to acknowledge that they did try to make it right.

I purchased four collapsible backdrops, but was disappointed to find that three of them were severely damaged upon arrival. I was pretty upset about it and took some photos to send to buy-backdrop, hoping they would offer a replacement or at least a substantial refund. But they did not do either. I was in disbelief, so I headed back to my Flickr account where I had previously posted the image, and what do ya know? It was the EXACT same image I shot in Crescent City, California. The same camera angle, same clouds, same waves, everything! I couldn't believe what I was seein', and to top it off, they didn't even ask to use my image, provide compensation, or give me any copyright release. They straight up stole my work!
I'm here to warn ya'll that this company is makin' their money by stealin' from artists and creatives alike. It's downright shameful, and I wouldn't dare recommend them to anyone. Buy-Backdrop is a company that's only lookin' out for themselves and their pockets, with no regard for the hard work and rights of others.
If it wasn't for the fact that I have all the proof I need to back up my claims, I wouldn't even be writin' this review. But I have the original image files and camera data to prove what I'm sayin', so don't even think about callin' me a liar.
I'm givin' them zero stars for their blatant theft of my art. Steer clear of Buy-Backdrop if you value your own work and creativity.

This website is not to be trusted, they are complete liars! Buy-Backdrop claims that they can ship your order in 4-6 or 8-10 business days. However, my order has not moved since September 20th, and I have been waiting for 35 business days! Their customer service is not responding and I am extremely disappointed and furious. This company is a scam and I will be filing chargebacks against them. It's appalling that a company like this is still operating and taking advantage of customers. My advice to you is to AVOID this terrible website at all costs.

Buy-Backdrop Review: Disappointing Service and Broken Promises
I was really excited to order from Buy-Backdrop for a special event I had planned for the end of the week. I made a mistake with my order and emailed them right away to change the postcode. Their website said that express shipping was 2-4 days, and since I needed it by Friday, I paid the extra $40AUD for it. I let them know my deadline in the email, and they assured me they would prioritize my order.
However, when I checked the status on Friday, it was still being processed. I was counting on it arriving that day, so I was really disappointed. Then, I received a text from the delivery company saying it wouldn't arrive until the following Tuesday, which was totally unacceptable. I had really counted on it arriving on Friday, and it ruined my plans.
I immediately emailed Buy-Backdrop requesting a refund, but I still haven't heard back from them. To make things even worse, I got a call on Tuesday from my delivery company saying they couldn't find my address. Apparently, Buy-Backdrop never changed the postcode on my order, so my package was sent halfway across the country!
I'm really frustrated with this company. They promise a lot on their website but don't deliver on their promises. They can't even handle simple requests like changing an address or responding to emails in a timely manner. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to using their products for my event, but now I'll have to find another vendor who can actually deliver what they promise.

I gotta tell ya, the backdrops from Buy-Backdrop (buy-backdrop.com) are alright, but the delivery time was longer than a trip to the DMV. I ordered in late January 2020 and didn't receive the full order until late March. However, after I contacted them about the missing items, they did arrive a week later by special delivery. So, they can get their act together when they need to.
Now, let's talk about the backdrops themselves. They're pretty sturdy, but also lightweight. The only issue is that they were super creased when they arrived. I've been using an iron on a low heat with a lot of pressure to smooth them out, but apparently the sun does the trick better (too bad I'm stuck in the Highlands with no sunlight in sight). Despite the creases, though, they do look just like the website description and the 3ft x 5ft size is perfect for photographing small items like cakes, hats, boxes, and bowls. It was exactly what I needed for my business.
That being said, it would have been nice if they sent the backdrops rolled instead of folded and without such a long wait. But, hey, it is what it is. All in all, if you're not in a rush and don't mind some creases, give Buy-Backdrop a shot.
