I am a LOYAL Cadillac customer since 2011.We have purchased/leased 4 vehicles from your dealership at 1050 South Milwaukee Ave.,Libertyville, IL 60048. My COMPLAINT refers to our 2014 ATS Premium Luxury (1G6AL5SX3E0131176) that we purchased used from a REPUTABLE dealership nearby.This vehicle has required me to have BOTH DOOR mirrors to be replaced because of the CRUMBLING of an alloy- metallic mount inside of the mounting-arm! Within one month,the passenger side mirror was dangling from it's electrical wiring,followed by the driver side mirror doing the same! From inside the housings came the crumbled pieces of said alloy-mount! I took my ATS Premium to our "home" dealership,Napleton Cadillac [protected]),to seek repair. The body shop manager,Chris Murrillo,confirmed that the parts had "corroded" inside the base and required replacement! I chose to purchase aftermarket mirrors to replace the FAILED ORIGINAL MIRRORS. The Total COST for this service came to $481.72(R/O#6044546/1),out of my meager RETIREE INCOME! Although I wish to continue our LOYALTY to Cadillac's products and servjce,I am requesting REIMBURSEMENT OF THE TOTAL COST OF THE FAILED PARTS AND LABOR. I am researching as to whether these FAILED PARTS are WIDESPREAD or a rare occurrence. As a LOYAL CUSTOMER who has invested Tens of Thousands of Dollars in Cadillac vehicles and service,I feel that a Total Reimbursement is FAIR AND JUST.
