I am in complete disgust with actions of window number 15, Hispanic female named Maria.
Today my daughter visited the DMV and was applying for a temporary handicap card and presented her medical note. As my daughter handed the paper work to her she read it and gave her a dirty look. Which made her feel very uncomfortable, Then she proceeds to speak in Spanish to another Hispanic female sitting in window number 16, This happened August 28 at 11:35 And so Maria told Hispanic female in window number 16 “ These people think I’m an idiot “ Not realizing that my daughter speaks Spanish. So handed my daughter paper over to the female on window number 16 and proceeded to tell the female coworker “ read it “ and Repeated what the doctor wrote on my daughters paper, which said knee pain and continue to make dirty faces. She refused her handicap and said that the doctor did not write enough information. My daughter then proceeded to not say anything and asked to speak to a Manager about it, which she spoke to Wanda.
Wanda’s response was careless and was very dismissive about the situation. Also every one of my experience at DMV at 1335 W Glenoaks Blvd Glendale, CA 91201. I have made several visits to the Dmv and cannot tolerate the disrespect of the representative named Maria. I have had more then 1 terrible experience with this disrespectful employee in which I complained to the supervisor named Wanda. Even an employee working in the information desk acknowledged to me that this is a regular occurrence with this employee Maria. Every time I visit this DMV, I have had a bad experience with nastiness all around. This is a pattern that is not acceptable! Wanda is very dismissive! As a State employee myself, behaving this way and treating people this way is unacceptable! Please advise as I would like to take this complaint to a higher level. Customers are not animals and this type of behavior of a State Employee is shameful. I would like to receive a phone call back.
Respectfully,
Janet Archila
