Highway 310
Highway 310/Sidon rd used to be a good highway there weren’t potholes it was smooth and they just spent the time and money to paint all new lines on it but 2 or 3 weeks ago they graveled over it making it unsafe and hard on the cars and houses around the area. there has already been one wreck since the gravel was put down and I can see many more happening because of it.
Desired outcome: Fix the f-ing road re pave it
Broken windshield
I was traveling to Missouri from Rector Arkansas. At Hargrave Corner they had put gravel on the highway. The company doing the work was Delta. in spite of my driving under miles an hour I still received two rocks to my windshield. I want Delta Asphalt to replace my windshield. I know there are several people that has had this same issue.

Desired outcome: New windshield
Pope county road department
Wednesday June 15 around 1pm the Pope County Road Department was mowing and ran over a substation knocking out phone lines and internet service. The workers who did this did not report it or inform residents. It has been 24 hours and no work has been done to solve this problem. I find this very unprofessional for people who work a county job that is paid for by tax payer dollars. I seriously wonder if the workers didn’t report this because a drug test would have been issued.
Desired outcome: Replace the about 200 pounds of copper wire that was pulled out of the ground from the fiber optic line. Restore operation of phone lines and internet service.
Commercial entrance not being maintained
Commercial entrance not being maintained. This is Greg Schneider Railway Winery 4937 Highway 187 EUREKA SPRINGS they are currently paving my section of the highway and the person on the paper was told that they aren’t doing the commercial aprons. When I was permitted for my driveway I was required to meet certain specifications so that the state would maintain it. I have waited three years for the highway to be paved so that I could do a cut off at the right of way and have my concrete driveway finished. Now I’m being told they won’t maintain the commercial apron. My phone number is [protected]. I would appreciate a response as soon as possible thank you. Greg Schneider
Desired outcome: To have my commercial apron maintained as I was told by the highway department originally when my driveway was put in.
State Highway 5 Benton, ARkansas Construction
The stretch of Arkansas Highway 5 traveling from Benton, AR to Hot Springs, AR has been under construction for almost 1 year. This is Scenic Byway 5.
The construction crews begin construction on a corner of the highway, or section of a corner. Then they stop construction on that specific corner and move on to another corner or section of a corner without every completing the first corner.
This has led to almost every curve/corner on Highway 5 to be under construction with no completion of any stretch.
The entrance to Nickel Bill James Road is worse now, and has been for a year, than it was to begin with.
The section of curves at the Benton-end of this highway had people waiting in a traffic line for 32 minutes. All of the machinery was empty of workers except one machine digging up the outer edge of the asphalt. All other machinery was sitting on the edge of the road not in operation. Just parked. This is a continuing problem for this scenic highway. No end in sight.
Desired outcome: Complete each section of construction before beginning construction on another segment of road/ corner. This would eliminate the problem of the whole highway being dangerous to travel.
Dangerous intersection needs light
The intersection of Arch street and hwy 167 in Saline county, next to the East End Middle School is a disaster waiting to happen. Two wrecks occurred in that area today and trying to turn left onto 167 North from Arch street in the morning is extremely difficult and dangerous. One has to cross two lanes of traffic with cars going anywhere from 40 to 90 mph, but also avoid people turning onto Arch street from 167, and then wait until the fast lane is clear in order to go north on 167. There needs to be a traffic light there.
Desired outcome: Add a traffic light to the intersection asap.
Here's an aerial view
I 40 between Before Morrillton and Atkins
The interstate now has a "wave to it" to the point that one wonders if their front end is out of alignment. The road is not smooth. The pavement has an uneven lane before the white line on the left traveling west. Don't get your from wheel down in it. Very poor construction 😔Roads are dangerous enough as it is but these conditions make traveling 75 mph very dangerous.
Desired outcome: Fix the issue so the road is safer.
I30 Construction Signage
My wife and I almost died yesterday (4/21) on a return trip to Texas on West I30. Little Rock to Texarkana had multiple construction zones where I30 was down to one lane. The last one was about 8 miles from Texarkana. My problem is with the one just previous to that one. To the best of my knowledge the speed limit was still 75. We were surrounded by 18-wheelers when I saw one dead-stopped in my left lane. It's possible I didn't see all the signage on the right due to my view being blocked. However, no signage at all was on the left side of the roadway. To the left was a deep ditch and to the right and slightly behind was another 18-wheeler. I steered hard right because braking would not have stopped us. Not sure how close to the 18-wheeler I came in the right lane. This is the closest I have come to dying on a freeway in my life and I am 65. Please add giant arrows to move over on BOTH sides of the freeway and do it several miles back from the construction. Otherwise, people WILL die. My email is [protected]@att.net. Mobile phone is [protected]. My name is Richard Van Tyne
My husband is a truck driver and goes through there all the time. It is Thanksgiving weekend and already people ARE dying due to poor planning and lack of adequate warning signs before the “tunnel” starts. People traveling are not aware of the narrowing of the highway. It is so sad. I called and spoke with several people about it who seemed kinda concerned, but definitely not urgent. I called later and asked if anything had been done and the supervisor said that was the first time he had heard about it. More people WILL die. If nothing is done, I am going to call the news station. So sorry for your near death experience.
Blackstone Construction
Construction crew renovating the Hwy 27 over the mountain in Yell County Ar. I have to travel between Rover and Danville on a daily basis during this road construction and have had multiple instances that makes me and others fearful to trust the Construction company directing the traffic through construction zones. Better communication between flaggers and also workers on equipment on vehicles passing would have a positive effect on safety and completing the job in a timely manner.
Desired outcome: Safer construction zone.
condition of i30 and i40
I travel frequently from Van Buren to Little Rock and from Little Rock to Arkadelphia. The slow lane in both interstates is in terrible condition. To the point that most motorists, including myself spend most of the time in the passing lane to avoid vehicle damage. It has been this way for at least two years now and continues to get worse. What plans if any are in the process of improving the condition of these interstates?
traffic light - hwy 65 and hwy 9 intersection
This light holds up traffic on HWY 65 w/no cars passing thru via HWY 9 for close 60secs. With the current construction on HWY 65 at this intersection, it only makes the bad traffic even worse.
I pass thru here weekly and experience the undue backup bc this light isn't functioning intelligently. Surely, this programming can be modified, if only until constructuon is complete. If youre looking for efficient on your state hwy, this is definitely not an efficient means of regulating traffic on a major US HWY?
