Truck parking
Caltex Melton Victoria on the Melton Highway has truck parking myself and several of a trucks there are parked every day of the week I have been parking there myself for nearly 2 years today as I stepped out of the truck I had someone in a Caltex uniform ask me who gave me permission to park there and that I cannot park there he told me he will give me a couple of days to move my truck or else he will remove it for me what is the point in having truck parking if you can't park there I spend several thousand week there on fuel I won't be anymore and after speaking to the other truck drivers who do the same will also not be doing it anymore we will be taking a business elsewhere spend plenty of money on the services inside and on the truck wash and most of all the amount of fuel we'll purchase will not be happening anymore why are we being asked to leave why do we have to move after so many years
Desired outcome: My desired outcome would just be leave everything the way it is is born and raised in Melton and have always use Caltex but guess what not anymore
Customer service
On the 18/9/2021 around 6pm I went to my local service station to get a 8kg gas bottle as I have done many times before.
I had a Ampol gift card for $9 and $20 in $2 coins as that was the cost of the gas bottle.
I was refused to use the coins by the operator stating to me as I was getting them out my purse, the operator stated oh you aren't going to give me all them are you.
I said yes money is money isn't it. The operator stated you know I don't have to take them if we have too many coins already.
I stated hey are you for real money is money what law is that, can you really refuse. The operator then said I will take $10 of them but that is it.
There was people behind me and they could not believe that was happening to, one guy told me he has never heard of that and told me to follow it up then gave me his number for a witness. I did ask what law she was referring to but she shrugged her shoulders and ignored me.
I felt that embarrassed as I was paying for a product from my hard earned working money and was belittled because it was 10 $2 coins.
I have experienced a lot of things in my life but this complaint needs to be dealt with accordingly, the console operator was unfriendly, mean and rude.
I am a brown woman in which I am now thinking is it because of my colour was this lady racist towards me. I am that disappointed in the service I received that is why I am writing this complaint.
I would like to know if this is true as I have never had a problem with paying with coins and not that I do all the time.
I have spent thousands at that servo between petrol, milk, bread, smokes as I have lived in the area for 3 years.
I will be now hesitant to go there ever again because I was treated like I was in the wrong it's not a nice feeling seriously 10 $2 coins.
My last words to the console operator was I will be enquiring with the Department of Consumer protection because thats not right.
Please see attached as I googled the question and this is all I can find I deserve the truth and an apology for her behaviour as a Customer service operator.
Thank you for your time
Kind regards

Good morning to you the reader
I trust you are blessed.
This morning at 6:45 we have been ignored for almost 10 min but before it got to that amount of waiting time, we left for another petrol station. Yes one wants to support locally and this petrol station is 5 min away from where we stay. As a South African, I felt ignored and unwelcome.
The driver just took off after washing his front and side windows saying he's feeling like an intruder on private property.
Such poor service, locally, to a local, unexeptable.
Desired outcome: Acknowledgement cause I understand it can get busy.
Service
•I was asked to exit my vehicle before they would allow my passenger to fuel the car.
•there were other drivers in cars while passenger were fueling.
•when I asked why the answer was "because of all the drive offs".
•they would not accept my Woolworth caltex voucher to pay for fuel.
•I believe that I was racially profiled because I am aboriginal.
Desired outcome: The lady who served me to be sacked from her job for being racist and making jokes about the situation
Franchisees of Clatex outlet , Mallacoota Victoria
In June 2020, I was told by the owners of our local service station that
I can no longer buy fuel or anything else from their business, despite
having used their service station for the past 19 years since I came to
Mallacoota. It is the only place in town where you can buy fuel,
newspapers etc.
I am yet to be given a reason, despite approaching them in person, by
phone and by text.
It was initially inconvenient but now that the only other service
station in a 100kms radius has closed, it is now impossible for me to
get fuel anywhere else.
If you google Mallacoota, you will see that I reside in Far East
Gippsland, near the NSW border and that preventing me from an essential
service such as fuel is unconscionable, dangerous and an unfair
restriction of trade.
In addition, it is preventing me from carrying out my small business of
home property management and directly impacting my income and ability to service my clients. I have had to employ other people to undertake some
tasks that I would normally carry out, as I have to conserve my fuel at
all times. For instance, I wanted to fill up this morning prior to
leaving for Melbourne, 525kms away but was refused service. There was
not enough fuel in the car to make it to the next town, 72kms away. I
told the employee that I would not be moving until I got fuel and then
called the local police to attend in the hopes that the proprietor would
at least tell the police why I was refused service. To their credit,
the Victoria Police member on duty brokered a one-time agreement that my husband was allowed to fill up my car but as he is often away, this is no solution. That is untenable as my husband is often away for work for weeks at a time.
So, what can you do to resolve this ridiculous situation?
I am quite happy to be contacted by phone or return email - details below.
Regards,
Catherine Tregellas

Michelle Bird from Kyogle Caltex
Hello, id ike to report an incident that occurred in your Caltex in Kyogle on the 29th of August at 12PM. I went with my husband to get petrol. I never got out of the car. My husband pumped the fuel and went inside to pay. As he was exiting the store, Michelle who is one of your employees yelled at me screaming "keep [censored]ing smiling" I turned around and said "what? why can't I smile?" Another employee with red hair then came to the door entry and began staring at me saying in a stern voice "have a good day" I asked her "why can't I smile? what have I done?" which we drove off after I said that. I was smiling at my husband who was exiting the shop. I don't appreciate being treated like this by staff. I didn't even enter there shop so Michelle had no reason to scream at me. Id like to make a formal complaint about her.
I can be reached on [protected]
Kind regards,
Lani Carbery
Desired outcome: I don't want to be treated like this by staff. Michelle should be given at least a warning and spoken to about how to treat customers. Perhaps customer service training is required?
Customer service
Hi,
My dad and I, we're at the Mitchell drive, east Maitland, Australia Caltex today at 10:30/10:40 am today. My dad speaks very little English but understands it more.
I was in the car with my dad while he filled the car and paid for the petrol. I was watching the women cashier, talk on the phone. My dad went to go pay and dad spoke to her told her which pump and ask if it was 60 dollars. She said yes, however, she over charged him 1.90.
Dad went to let her how and pointed the pump and me. Showed her the docket. I was watching their interaction. She rolled her eyes at dad and proceed to ignore him. Dad waved to me to come inside to talk to her. She ignored both of us, answering personal calls. I could hear her say "Nanny's at work", then a small child reply and then an adult voice. Continuing to ignore us. She slapped down a copy for the docket and handed the money to me, without apologising. Dad asked for the docket back which she THREW at my dad. I was telling dad to just wait but her lack of communication and silence made us feel like she didn't want us there and didn't care that she over charged. It wasn't about the money. Dad just wanted to let her know that it was the wrong pump.
It was unprofessional and rude. I felt it's was totally disrespectful and disappointing. All she had to say was it was a mistake and we would of understood.
Desired outcome: Better training for all staff. We are a community filled with different backgrounds.
Petrol attendants refused to refilling my truck
On the 21/08/21 time 19:56, place: acornhoek plaza fill Station I wanted to refill my truck I saw petrol attendants standing on a counter and asked the on strike because I have been standing for too long to refill diesel and they said I have an attitude and we will not refill your.
98 Octane pump keypad is faulty
04-08-2021 The 98 Octane petrol pump at the Caltex Service Station in Murray Street Wonthaggi Victoria 3995 has had a faulty numeric keypad for several years. Meaning that I am unable to key in the correct $ amount of petrol required. I have to rely on the "hair trigger" pump handle to fill my car with fuel. Because the pump handle is so sensitive, it is almost impossible to dispense the exact $ amount I require. The pump is usuallu either 2 cents under or 2 cents over when I finish fueling the car. It is too hard to shut the pump handle off at the exact $ amount required (for example $50 becomes either $49.98 or $50.02).
When I pointed this discrepancy out to the particular cashier on duty, he informs me that Caltex will never fix the numeric keypad on the petrol pump and I will just have to accept it!
Is this true? I have been refueling my 2 cars at the Caltex for over 26 years and believe I wouldn't be the only person to have experienced this inconvenience.
Please Caltex fix the keypad on this 98 Octane Bowser so I can key in the correct $ amount of fuel I require without the frustration of trying to stop the hair trigger on the pump handle at the exact amount required. All the other pumps at this service station have functioning keypads to key in the correct $ amount so please I ask you again to fix this anomaly.

Motorcycle rider / refused fuel because Helmet left on
I would like to ask why simple safety common sense is not applied at fuel stations (particularly Clarkson 6030).
Insisting that a bikers remove their helmet before being allowed to fill up are putting the rider's safety at risk.
It's Time for your company to act more responsibly & consider the risk you are putting the rider at.
Desired outcome: Change the antiquated rules
Murwillumbah caltex glass door
Hello I wasn't sure if this is the right avenue for my grievance. But it's all I could find as a contact.
Today 1/8/21 at approx 1350 my 6 year old was standing near the front sliding door which closed on her, cutting and making a few small
Puncture wounds and lacerations on all five of her Left toes.
I didn't see the incident my daughter came running to me with blood coming out of her foot.
I'm not sure how this happened but it could have been exceptionally worse, no
Assistance was offered by the attendant at the petrol station, he didn't even ask if she was ok when she was visibly inconsolable and in a lot of pain. These doors need to be seen to, maybe rubber on the bottom so this doesn't happen again. I am keeping an eye on her toes in case there is any more damage than just superficial.

Elto Towers
The Forecourt Manager (Sine) is rude and does not know legislation regarding fuel and containers. He is rude and interrupts while I tried to explain the legislation to him. His staff is not informed as he is not himself understanding the legislation. It is shocking that someone in charge of a fuel station does not himself understand the legislation that governs fuel and it actually borders ignorance. I will not be buying anything from Caltext Alto Towers. Unbelievable that a bi garage like that is so out of touch with legislation and a Caltex down the road, has acutally goen through the effort to put the legislation on their pumps and their staff trained to explain it to customers. Well done to Caltex Steelnbosch Arterial. Etlo Towers should get rid of Sine, not cusotmer focussed and WAY TOO defensive instead of listenign to customers.
Desired outcome: Train all staff to know and understand legislation and Sine must go for soft skill training as he is rude and obnoxious and don't know anything about customer service
Caltex garage at Van Reenen's pass
I have been a caltex customer for the past 45 years and am a member of the U-COUNT programme with Standard Bank.
When driving between Natal and Gauteng my wife and I attended the Caltex Garage at Van Reenen's Pass on Wednesday the 21st of July 2021 when the following factors were of a major issue.
1) the ladies toilets were quite filthy, to the extent that one could not sit on a toilet seat. This issue was in regard to all the toilet seats as well as the floors.
2) the garage attendant could not provide air for my tyre that had deflated due to a puncture. His excuse was that the garage owner had not switched on the compressor.
Please note the garage is specifically used as I have always been a loyal customer and am now part of the U-count programme.
Unless these issues are addressed we will have to look elsewhere for our half way stop which we trust will not be necessary.
Staff member
Respected Administration, I would like to register a complaint against one of your staff members named Sood as per their tag at caltex bentley, wyong road, 6102 Western Australia. This staff member has showed rudeness and irresponsibility multiple times. Every time I wish he's not behind the counter, I'm afraid this might lead me or others like me to change my fuel provider.
Customer service
The attendant explained that the paypoint machine doesn't work not that its slow or giving them problems as it was used to help another customer I was advised to go withdraw cash upon my return to the car he wasn't there and went to smokeI had to wait for 20 minutes before getting helped by another attendant
I tried to lodge a complaint with the manager but he said he was busy.
Desired outcome: These people have no idea of what customer service is. Disciplinary hearing
Staff member threats
Marianna at the Rosemeadow NSW Australia 2560 Caltex petrol station asked for personal information she has no right to. Then proceeded to make threats stating she was authorised by her employer. I informed her that the current legislation required to show no proof of sign in through the service NSW app for a Petrol station, to which she stated she will take...

Dirty door that you have to open with your hands, filthy toilets. Rubbish left for weeks as people seem to clean out there cars onto the ground whilst filling up. Rubbish outside the back door that is visible from the road, must be rodents living in that much rubbish. This caltex is on a highway that leads to the snow fields and to the Hume highway. Not good with COVID-19.
Customer service
Nabiac NSW it is mandatory to wear face masks yet 2 employee was not wearing one and the two staff members arguing while we were trying to be served. 09/07/2021 8:18am .
The female is also notorious for being rude to customers and ignoring customers waiting to be served.
Check your cameras we are an area with a lot of tourists we have had no cases as yet. It takes onefoolish and complacent person to cause a ripple effect. Not to mention arguing in the vicinity of customers it is unnecessary and confronting. The other poor staff members do not need to be put in that situation.
Desired outcome: Reprimanded and covid tested for starters
Price and unavailability
I visited caltex at 158 Corfield St Cnr, Stalker Rd, Gosnells WA 6110 on today the price was 1.88$ and there was no 91 available only 95 and 98 that seem suss to me
No 91 on a price hike
Desired outcome: I want to know whether they were out of 91 or not. Not that u would tell me
Your staff
